Luz’s Guardian Angel

Summary:

Over time the higher ups of heaven have noticed that Adam’s behavior as an angel has proven to be….well let’s be honest it’s he’s Adam what did you expect. So they tasked Sera to give Adam a chance to reassess himself as a model for heaven by being a human’s guardian angel till said human would perish from age. Adam “begrudgingly” agreed to do so and was booted from Heaven to oversee a human.

 

Meanwhile on Earth, in the small town of Gravesfield, a young Luz Noceda sleeps peacefully in bed, unaware that her life was about to change forever. (Btw she will get aspects of Adam’s personality as time goes on, also the swearing.)

Chapter 1: Booted from Heaven

Sera knew that today was going to be a long day. After being told that she had to assign Adam a human to oversee and help guide to heaven. She was mentally preparing for the screaming, the cursing, the groaning. But she had to get it done nevertheless. So after her own mental pep talk and sitting Adam down in the first place, the first words the left his mouth were….

 

“FUCK NO!” Adam yelled in a tantrum after being told his new job. “Are you fucking kidding me Sera? I’m the LEADER of the exterminator’s! You honestly expect me to go down and help guide people? ME!? This is the shit that we let beginner angels do!”

 

Sera rubbed her temple in annoyance while looking out her window “I know you obviously don’t want to do it but think about the good you can do, not only for this soul but for yourself, you can work on your “cruder” attributes and come out of this a better person.” She turns to face Adam only to see him napping.

 

“Yaaaaaaaawn. Babe why should I try to fix whats already AWESOME?! Come on this is the first man you’re talking to, the first soul ever welcome into heaven, I’m basically perfect!” Adam smugly and confidently grins at Sera, thinking he’s convincing her but in reality he is fueling her annoyance.

 

“Look Adam, it’s already been decided. Like it or not you’re going. You’ll be sent down to the mortal realm at the end of the day. And if you even think about trying to escape this. Then as God himself as my witness I will personally kick your ass down there!” All of Sera’s eyes glowed, her frustration reaching her limit with Adam’s antics.

 

Adam finally bows down letting a long groan. “Fine! Fine I’ll go help the stupid human figure out that god is great or some shit.” Adam leaves in a huff and Sera lets out a sigh of relief. “Finally, some peace for the next few years.”

Meanwhile at the exterminator barracks:

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’RE LEAVING?!” Lute and nearly a hundred other exterminators yell with extreme worry and sadness

“It’s means I’m leaving. Calm your tits all of you. It’s not permanent it’s only for a few years or however long humans live for. Until I return I’m leaving Lute in charge as top bitch to lead the exterminations.”

 

“But sir, are you sure that I’ll be able to do this?” Lute says with obvious hesitation in her voice. Adam reassures her with a proud voice.

 

“Reeeelaaaax. You girls were personally trained by me! I have no doubt you’ll absolutely destroy those fucking demons while I’m gone!”

 

Lute and the rest of the exterminators look at Adam with determination in their eyes and all yell. “WE WON’T LET YOU DOWN SIR!”

As Adam looked over his army he couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride in them. But that was cut short after the realization that it was time to go. So with great annoyance he flew out of the barracks and to the gates a heaven where he was immediately greeted by St. Peter.

 

“Well hello there Adam! I can’t believe you get an oversee your own soul! I’m just so jealous of you.” St. Peter glowed with joy with Adam seemed to darken with anger but held his tongue since he would get an earful from Sera. “Yep. It’s just swell isn’t it.”

 

Adam just stays down at Earth from the clouds of heaven. “Welp, here’s goes nothing. LATER BITCHES!” Adam jumps down from heaven and begins to rocket down to earth at incredible speeds, burning up and catching fire in the atmosphere of Earth. “HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIT!”

Meanwhile in Gravesfield:

It was a quiet night in the town. People we already asleep and in the Noceda household, a young Luz was staring at her ceiling in slight sadness. Her recent day at the park left her hurt as she was called such mean names by the other girls for just being herself. Especially by this one blonde girl named Clara. As she stared, she silently prayed. “Please let me make at least one friend soon.”

 

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” Adam screamed in pain as his body burned, he didn’t have time to fly and blasted through Luz’s window. Somehow not waking her parents and starling the hell outta Luz. He slowly got up, his body still in pain and slightly burnt. As his eyes locked with Luz’s he could only say the first thing that came to his mind.

 

“Sup Bitch!”

Chapter 2: First Introduction

Summary:

Adam’s first introduction at his new human and he is already not happy.

Now there were a lot of thoughts racing through Luz’s head as she just watched Adam dive bomb through her window and scare the hell outta her. She should be afraid and running to her mom, she should be wondering if she was hallucinating from the fact it’s nearly midnight and she couldn’t sleep. But her mind was only filled with wonder and who this guy is. “Who…who are you? What even are you?”

 

Adam, sitting up and dusting himself and standing before Luz with a half-ass smile on his face. “Uhhhhh fuck how do I explain this….you ever seen that one fucking vegetable cartoon about the lord and shit?” Luz would just stare at Adam in pure confusion, barely understanding what he’s trying to say.

 

“You know what forgot it. You look like you’re fucking dead right now so get some sleep and we’ll talk tomorrow.” Luz would immediately protest at this and start to ramble incoherently before he can’t take it anymore and puts her to sleep using his holy light. “Shut it! Okay, there perfect!”

 

As Adam begins to wait for morning he notices the broken window. “Fuck. Forgot about that.” He waves his hand and the window fixes itself. He smirks at the act. “Good as new.” He walks back over to Luz, staring at her as she sleeps. There was a moment of silence and thinking before Adam spoke again. “God this is gonna fucking suck.”

Time skip to morning:

As Luz slowly wakes up from her slumber she is usually greeted by her mother waking her with a loving smile on her face, this time however. “RISE AND SHINE YOU LITTLE SHIT!” Luz jumps up in shock as Adam wakes her with a shit eating grin on his face as he’s laughing his ass off. “Oh you gotta admit that was fucking priceless!”

 

“You’re real! You’re actually real I thought last night was just a dream!” Luz responds in shock, which is soon followed but happiness. She runs up to Adam and hugs him which momentarily shocks the exorcist. “I can’t believe that I now have a friend!”

 

Adam, breaking out of his trance returns to his usual manner and quickly kicked Luz away. “Hands off the merchandise! Look I’m not your friend dumbass, I’m your mentor. Or guardian or whatever the fuck this position is called. My name is Adam, the first man. Yep I’m that guy so you’re fucking lucky to have me as your guardian right now! So let me lay down a few ground rules. One! Don’t touch me. Two! Every piece of advice I have, you listen to it. And three! Uhhhh always believe in yourself.”

 

Before Luz could even respond she heard her mom call her downstairs for breakfast. As Luz was about to say something her mouth was quickly shut by Adam. “One more thing. Only you can see me, so do us both a favor and keep your mouth shut about me, got it?” Luz could nod and Adam grinned with satisfaction. “Alright! Let’s do this shit!” Luz and Adam walk downstairs to the kitchen where Camila is making breakfast, Luz sits down in the chair while Adam just floats.

 

“Good morning mija! How did you sleep?” Camila calls out with a smile on her face as she is making eggs.

 

“I sleep okay mom, thanks for asking!” Luz responds with a smile on her face while Adam is just groaning in annoyance. “This is the most boring fucking morning of my life! Is it just gonna be like this for the next decades are you kidding me?!” Luz looks over to where he is. “Why are you so angry? This is a nice morning.”

 

“Uhh Mija, who are you talking to?” Camila would say in confusion. Luz would panic at her mistake and quickly misdirect her. “No one mom, sorry it was just a rough night I’m still tired.” Camila would seem suspicious but decided not to pry. “Whatever you say mija. By the way, did you hear anything at all last night? I could have sworn I heard something break last night.”

 

Luz would immediately deflect. “I didn’t hear anything mom I’m sure it was just a wild animal.”
Adam would grin at Luz’s little lie. “Lying to your mother, shame on you kid. But kudos for keeping my secret so I guess it evens out.”

 

Breakfast after that is pretty mundane . With Luz and Camila talking and eating and Adam standing there bored as fuck and mentally thinking. (And this is my life for the next few decades. Fucking great.)

Chapter 3: Blond Bitch Beatdown

Summary:

Adam discovers that Luz is showing up from school with bruises and decides to teach his student how to have a backbone

The past few months have been pretty good. With Luz in school during most of the day, Adam had time to sneak back into heaven just to see the exorcists, however lately Luz had been seeming more sluggish and less upbeat. And even flinching a bit at Adam. It was getting annoying for the angel and when he noticed the subtle purple on Luz’s arm, Adam finally decided to pry.

“Alright kid. Spill it, whats happening at school.” Adam asked with an annoyed tone. Luz would immediately stiffen up and try to brush off the question. “Whaaat? Nothings been happening I’m fine.” Adam would just stare at her not buying anything. “You can’t bullshit an angel Luz were basically lie detectors now drop it.”

Luz would heavily sigh before lifting up her shirt to show a bruise on the side of her body, her skin a deep purple from the impact. “The girls at my school are really mean…..” Her words would trail off as she slowly starts to tear up. “I don’t want my mom to worry about me and I-I just don’t know what to do….”

As Adam watched Luz tear up he felt different, a horrible feeling in his gut as he watched this sweet girl cry. Was he feeling sorry for her? No, no he couldn’t feel sorry for her, he’s an exterminator for fucks sake! But he still couldn’t shake this terrible feeling, and he knew that deep down there was only one way that could stop it. “Fine! Just stop crying already it’s annoying. Look I’ll help you with your bullies okay.”

Luz stopped crying and looked up to the angel in shock, her tears stopping and her face lit up with a new sense of hope. “R-Really? You’re gonna help me?” Adam had a smug grin on his face. “Hell yeah kid! I’m the leader of the exorcist army in heaven! The best of the best! We’re gonna kick you bullies asses!”

Luz couldn’t contain her joy any longer as she ran up to Adam and gave him a big hug while crying tears of joy. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” Adam this time didn’t kick Luz away and just stood there in silent shock. And after what felt like an eternity, Adam hugged back. “No problem kid- No problem Luz.”

Noceda household backyard:

Adam stood before Luz with a confident grin on his face. “Alright Luz! Tell me, what’s the only way to deal with an asshole?” Luz would pause and think for a moment before answering. “Talking to an adult and not getting physical?”

“W-What no! Talking about your feelings is for pussy’s! And besides, an asshole isn’t gonna care about your feelings, they’re an asshole for a reason!” Adam would pinch the bridge of his nose in slight annoyance. “The only way to deal with people like your bullies is to take them down a notch!”

Luz would look in awe at Adam’s words and then in confusion. “Wait so how am I gonna take them down a notch?” Adam would give a sharp grin. “The only way I know how, by bashing their FUCKING FACE IN!”

Luz would immediately object the idea of getting into a fight. “No way! I don’t want to hurt them! And not only that I’ve never been in a fight before!” Adam would shrug her comment off as it was nothing. “Would you relax already. Did you forget who you’re talking to? You’ll beat the bitch up in no time! Now then, give me your best shot!”

Adam gestures Luz to give him her best punch. Luz reluctantly agrees and punches Adam with everything she has, and it isn’t that much. Adam would just look at her with a surprised expression. “S-Seriously? That’s absolutely everything you got?” Luz just nodded and Adam exhaled in slight frustration. “Okay. Now I could get in trouble for this but fuck it we gamble!”

Adam channels his diving strength into his hand and turns it into a ball a light. The ball zooms around him before shooting inside Luz, causing Luz to collapse on the ground for a short moment before standing up. “W-What did you just do and why do I feel like I can punch a hole in a brick wall!?”

Adam grins with a smug look on his face. “You’re welcome Luz, gave you some fucking holy light! That light can do all kinds of shit but for you it’s just like steroids without all the downsides.”

Luz would immediately protest. “I don’t want to hurt them I just want them to leave me alone!” Adam would groan in annoyance. “Luz trust me! The only way to get them to leave you alone is to fuck them up! Also why do you care what your bullies want? They’re all assholes this is why I’m doing this in the first place!”

Luz, not knowing how to respond. Walks away from the conversation and decides to take a walk just to clear her head. As she takes her stroll she decides to take a detour in the park. And as she walks she bumps into a group of people. As she goes to help them up, she freezes up when she realizes that she bumped into her bullies.

The leader, a blonde girl with a stripe of pink in her hair, spilled her drink all over her shirt. She looks up in annoyance and her face twisted even deeper into anger as she realizes who did it. “You fucking idiot! You realize how much this costs!?

Luz immediately tries to apologize. “Oh god I’m so sorry about that Clara! Uhh do you need some help with that?”

Luz was about to try and help Clara but instead is greeted with a cheap punch to the face by Clara. “Get your fucking hands off me!” Luz would stumble back in pain, her nose now bleeding from the force of the punch. Clara, now standing up would laugh at Luz with a cruel grin on her face. “That’s what you get you fucking schizo!” Clara and her entourage of mean girls would all laugh at Luz with no remorse for her.

Luz would stare at her bloody hands in pain. Adam’s words circling through her head. She looked back at the girls laughing at her. Luz’s face twisting from pain to sheer rage, her teeth getting sharper and her eyes gaining a dangerous gold glint to them.

“Whats the matter cry baby? You gonna run home to your mommy-WHACK!” Her words were cut short by a heavy punch directly to the face from Luz.

“Whats the matter you dumb bitch? Never been hit by someone your own size before?” Luz would say with a sharp grin, now standing over Clara. She grabs the girl by the hair, pulling Clara up directly to her face. “Let me make one thing clear, if you think you can knock me around again, I’ll punch your face again and again till I knock out your fucking teeth. Get it?”

Clara could only weakly nod, her face in a serious amount of pain. “Good. NOW SCRAM BEFORE I KICK YOUR ASS EVEN HARDER!” Luz would watch with them run away with a heavy sense of pride swelling in her gut.

Far away in a tree, Adam would be watching with a smile on his face. “Nice job Luz. Nice job.”

Chapter 4: Rainy Day Duo & Adam’s First Time Reading

Summary:

Part of me wants to think of this as a joke, but let’s be honest what book would Adam even attempt to read before chucking it out the window.

As the months go on, Luz and Adam have been doing pretty good. Especially after Luz decked her bully square in the face. No more bruises and Luz gained a bit of self confidence. Clara is still fucking pissed but we’ll get into that later. As of now, it’s currently raining like it’s a fucking hurricane outside, leaving Luz and Adam home alone bored outta their minds.

“I know you can’t break the rules…again but can you please do something about the rain?” Luz would ask, her face in a pillow and laying on the couch.

Adam would look out the window with annoyed look on his face. “What? Who the fuck do you think I am? I’m not Bruce Allmighty I can’t whisk away every problem like it’s nothing.”

“So you can magically fix my room, and give me angelic strength but you can’t make a light drizzle go away?” Luz would respond, now sitting up on the couch.

“First of all smart ass, it’s not raining outside. It’s fucking pouring! Second of all, I’m not a genie in a bottle I’m a fucking angel! I have very specific set of powers! And for starters they don’t include manipulating the weather!” Adam would rant in annoyance to Luz’s questions.

Luz would smirk as she decides to call out Adam’s bluff. “Okay Adam, then can I know all your powers~? To avoid making you annoyed~?” Luz would respond with a cheeky tone.

Adam would immediately deflect “Okay new rule! No asking about my powers! You’re human brain can’t handle all the awesomeness I can bring.”

Luz would let okay a small chuckle as she looked at the time, it was nearly time to go to bed. “Welp. Looks like it’s time to turn in for the night.”

Adam would continue to look out the window. “Yeah whatever, good night kid.” Luz would head upstairs towards her bed. Adam would move to the couch only to be called up by Luz, which annoyed him.

“Why the hell are you calling me up here?” Luz would look a little embarrassed. As she tried to ask but it only came out as a mumble. “Dude fucking speak up.”

“Would you mind reading me a story Adam?” Adam would grumble in annoyance and just look at Luz with a frown. “You made me get off my ass for this? Luz you can beat up some entitled bitch and you can’t go to sleep with some stupid fucking story!”

“Well my mom would always do it and it kinda stuck with me, and she’s not here right now so can you just do this please.” Luz would say while handing him a book labeled “The Good Witch Azura”.

“Seriously Luz? This is the kinda shit you’re into? This bullcrap looks so kiddy it’s actually disgusting.” Luz would get an angry look on her face. “Well it’s my childhood you asshole so can you just read it please!”

Adam would grumble and mutter profanity’s under his breath as he sits next to Luz and opens it up. Only to realize, be hasn’t read a book, or any papers in a long ass time, sure Sera gives him reports to look at and sign but Adam usually skips to the signature and fucks off from there. “Jesus Christ when did the makes the words so fucking small……..uhhhh let’s see.”

Adam would stutter and mumble throughout the first page. Luz would stare at Adam in utter confusion before slowly gaining a grin on her face. “Adam? Do you know how to read?

“W-What! Of course I know how to read! T-This book is just so fucking boring that it’s making me sleepy!” Adam would retort with a grin of false bravado. Luz would then give a cheeky grin back at him. “Whatever you say Adam. How about I read it.”

“Good luck, I bet you’ll be asleep before the first page!” Luz would take the book from Adam’s hands and read the story. As she reads the pages, Adam slowly becomes interested in the story. As Luz reaches the end of chapter 1, Adam is loving the story.

“*Do not underestimate me, Gildersnake, for I am the Good Witch Azura, warrior of peace! Now eat this, sucka!* Azura would finish off the Gildersnake as it slowly dies in the pit from whence it came! And that’s just chapter one!”Luz would say with a happy smile on her face as she puts the book on her nightstand.

“Holy shit! Azura sounds like a fucking badass! Man if we had a chick like that on the exorcist army then we would be fucking unstoppable!” Adam would say with a wide grin on his face and a slight sparkle in his eyes. Adam would ramble on until turning back to see a sleeping Luz.

“I see you a doing well Adam.” Adam would turn around to see Sera right behind him. “Holy shit Sera! Don’t do that shit.”

As they both look at Luz, Sera speaks up. “I must say I’m surprised that you are actually taking this seriously Adam.” Adam would continue to stare at the sleeping Luz with an unreadable expression.

“I don’t understand why but, I just want to kill anything that tries to touch her when she’s asleep like this.” Sera would hide her shock with a soft smile on her face. “You are maturing Adam, learning how to care for someone other than yourself. Keep up the good work.” Sera would return to heaven in a flash, leaving Adam alone with a sleeping Luz.

 

“Maturing?”

Sorry for delay, I’ve been busy with shit lately and my posting habits are kinda(very) shit also working in a bakery is super cool but it takes a lot outta your day. Chapter 5: Lying Witch and a Warden + One Angel

Summary:

Luz and Adam travel to the isles after following an owl that stole their shit. This is gonna be a fun one!

As Adam continued to guide Luz throughout her life, he slowly started to enjoy the company and his daily banter with Luz. And as the years flew by, Adam was actually happy. Sure he did miss heaven but the need to go back was less prominent. As of now, Adam was currently waiting for Luz to get back home from school as he usually does, when he hears a conversation outside between Luz and her mom.

“Luz just please stop fighting this! Summer camp is only going to be for three months. You'll be so busy balancing checkbooks and learning to... appreciate public radio, the time will fly by! Besides you don’t have a choice you heard what your principal said!” Camila said with a tone that was a mix of frustration and pleading.

“I know mom I get it! But seriously. Public radio! Balancing checkbooks!? You honestly think that anyone enjoys that crap? That’s not who I am! I’m the person that enjoys reading fantasy books! Editing anime clips to music! Rock and roll!” Luz would argue back, her voice tired from the long argument.

Camila would pinch the bridge of her nose in frustration. “Mija you know that I will always love and support all of your interests. But this fantasy obsession is holding you back. Do you have any friends? Real ones, not imagined or drawn or reptilian?”

“I’d rather her fake real friends that would stick with me through thick and thin then real fake friends that’s stab my back and take me for granted!” Luz would stare at her mother tired face. After what seemed like an eternity, she deeply inhaled and exhaled. “But if this is what you really want……..then I’ll do it for you. No because of my asshole of a principal, but for you.”

Camila would let out a small happy squeal of joy and hug her daughter. “Thank you mija! This is gonna be so fun for you!” Luz would let out a dry chuckle. “Sure mom, whatever you say.”

Camila’s phone would buzz as she started to walk away. “I gotta run Luz, duty calls. Your bus is coming soon, text me when you get there! Cuídate mucho, mi hija. ¡Qué te vaya bien!” Luz would watch her mom get in her car and drive away. She would way with a fake smile on her face before exhaling in exhaustion as Camila leaves. She would start walking towards the bus before being startled by Adam.

“You alright kid, I didn’t hear much but that shit was pretty rough.” Adam would bluntly say. “No shit Sherlock! It’s just I hate the fact that my mom keeps pushing me to be someone I’m not and it feels like she hates me for being me!” Luz would say with obvious anger in her voice.

“Hey don’t get pissy with me you asshole I’m trying to help!” Adam would reply back. “Parents are fucking weird, but trust me, deep down in her heart, your mom loves you for who you are.” Adam would say with a comforting tone of voice.

“Yeah well she sure does have a funny way of showing it.” Luz would say as she looks through her back to confirm her belongings. Her notebooks for drawing, snacks, her phone, an awesome walkman music player with her cassettes of her favorite bands and songs. As she did her check, she noticed her Good Witch Azura book was missing. She remembered that her mom threw it in the trash after the heated argument. As she went to go get it, a small owl flew out of the trash, carrying the book and flew into the woods.

“What the- hey that’s my book the trash bird!” Luz would bolt after the owl with Adam following behind her. The owl would then fly into an abandoned old house, the door mysteriously shutting behind it, but Luz didn’t care and rammed through the door, tackling through the tent of items and clothing, and pinning the bird to the ground and yoinking the book. “That’s mine you jerk!”

Before Luz could get up, she is stopped by a woman wearing a maroon dress, with a wild mane of silver hair. “Alright listen kid, I don’t know who you think you are but you better think twice before messing with my palisman!” Luz and Adam would stare at Eda in confusion before they both say. “What the fuck is a palisman?”

Before woman could respond, she notices Luz’s rounded ears and slightly gasps in shock. “Holy shit, you’re a human?” Luz would look at her in confusion. “That’s a weird thing for another human to say.”

The woman would give Luz and Adam a toothy grin before pointing to her pointed ears. “Well good thing im not a human!” The woman would stand up on a table and yell. “My name is Eda Clawthorne, the owl lady! And I’m a witch!”

Luz would look at Eda in disbelief. “No way….you’re a witch!?” While Adam would look at Eda with a bored look. “Yeah that’s a load of bullshit, I bet you’re a demon.” However Eda would not hear Adam’s remark since only Luz could see and hear him. “That’s right kid! I am respected….feared…..and I’m-“

“Busted!” A gruff voice would yell from a sea of people. Until a large man in an all black guard uniform, accompanied by two smaller guards in white uniforms, all of them having a bird like mask. “Eda the Owl Lady, you are wanted for misuse of magic and demonic misdemeanors! And are hereby condemned to the to Conformatorium!” The big guard would yell.

Luz would awkwardly watch this happen. “Well this seems like a good time to see myself out.” She would try to walk away before being grabbed by one of the smaller guards. “And you’re going to! For fraternizing with a criminal!” Luz would yell back. “What!? Oh that’s a load of bullshit! I didn’t know she was wanted!”

“Oh, all right, all right, you win. Just let me get my stuff.” Eda reaches under the table and grabs her staff, swinging it at the big guard. He falls to the ground with a grunt. Eda spins her staff and taps the bottom of it on the table, making all her stuff float in midair. Luz, seeing the opportunity, head butts the guard holding and bolts with Eda.

“What the hell is this place!? Am I being punk’d right now what the fuck is this!” Luz would yell while running with Eda. “Calm down kid! You ain’t gonna die, you’re more valuable to me alive the dead.” Eda would say with a smug grin on her face. Luz would quickly look at her with a confused look. “What the hell is that supposed to MEAN!!!”

Her words were cut short by Eda pulling her onto her staff and jumping off a cliff, as Luz closed her eyes expecting to die, she opens them only to realize she is flying. Meanwhile, Eda jumps, pulling herself and Luz onto the staff. Meanwhile, the guards catch up and watch them fly away on the cliff.

“Why the hell do we even try she gets away every single time man!” As the big guard crashes out. Luz and Eda are flying in the sky while Adam follows from behind with his wings. As Eda sets down in the middle of the forest, Luz finally speaks up.

“Alright, this has been fun and not at all what I wanted from a fantasy adventure. But I got to leave so do whatever you did to get me here and I’ll be on my way!” Luz would say as she walked away, but was quickly stopped by Eda.

“Yeah about that, I kinda need you for a little job.” Eda would say with a slight grin on her face while Luz stopped dead in her tracks with an annoyed look on her face. “So let me get this straight, you had your owl steal my shit, you almost got me arrested, and now you are forcing me to do a job for you or I’m stuck here?” Eda would just causally nod her head like this shit was normal to her and Luz would just let out a frustrated yell. “Fine! I’ll do you this favor but that’s it! After that I’m outta here.”

Eda would have a wide grin on her face. “Great! Now hop on! I’ll explain on the way there.” As Luz begrudgingly hopped on, Eda began to explain the premise of the job. “So let me explain….King, who is kinda like my roommate. Was once a mighty king of demons, until his Crown of Power was stolen by a big jerk named Warden Wrath. The crown is being held and locked away behind a magical force field that only a human can break through. A human like you!”

As Eda finished explaining, they finally reached where the crown was being held, the Conformatorium. They fly up to the top of the tower. “Okay, you nab the crown while I cause a distraction. I’ll meet you back at the top when you get the crown and then we leave.” Eda says with a cheeky grin on her face.

“You really sure you can make a distraction that big to get everyone chasing you?” Luz asked with clear skepticism in her voice. “Trusted me kiddo, these guys have been chasing me for a long time.” Before Luz could answer, Eda jumped down the tower, yelling. “Good Luck Kid!”

Luz would just grumble in annoyance. “Let’s just get this shit over with.” As she walked through the prison, she sees the poor witches and demons alike being punished for just being themselves. She also got a look at Warden Wrath and holy shit the guy was big! Before she could think about it any longer, she sees the hulking demon run off in a hurry, seeing her chance she bolts in the contraband room where she sees Eda waiting impatiently.

“Great you’re here! Now get in there and grab that crown so we can get the hell outta here!”
Eda would say urgently. Luz would nod and rush into the barrier with zero hesitation, she is immediately met with a huge pile of trash, she sees the crown at the very top of the pile and when she reaches it she is immediately pissed.

“Oh you got to be fucking kidding me! This is the crown of power!?” The crown of “power” was just a greasy burger queen crown. As she walks down the hill, she spots something outta the corner of her eye. It’s buried deep in trash, but she pulls it out and it turns out to be an awesome fucking guitar! “Holy shit……..fucking score!” She puts the guitar on her back and walks out from the barrier, only to fine Eda in the clutches of Warden Wrath and about a dozen guards surrounding her. “Awww shit.”

“Impressive that you would make it this far human, but your streak of luck ends here.” Warden Wrath with say with a tone of arrogance as he turns her free arm into tendrils to capture Luz. “Now that that’s out of the way. Eda Clawthorne. I want you………….to go out with me.”

Both Eda and Luz would look at Wrath as if he grew a third head. As the warden went on with his love confession. Adam appeared behind Luz. “(What the fuck happened!?)” Adam would say telepathically. “(The fuck does it look like Adam! Shit went south and were fucked.)” Luz would say in an annoyed and slightly scared tone.

Adam would panic before getting an idea. “(Okay Luz, I need you to go with me on this, but do you trust me?)” Adam would say with a deadly serious tone. “(Yes I trust you Adam, now help me!)” Luz would say with growing urgency as Eda just pissed off Wrath.

Without a second to lose. Adam glows brightly and directly flies right into Luz, going inside her body. Luz would feel a burning pain as she felt and intense light burn and course throughout her body. As the pain stops she lays limp for a few second before she lets out a big burst of energy, blowing her and Eda out of Wrath’s clutches and knocking back several guards.

Eda looks at Luz in pure shock while Wrath growls in anger. “Don’t just stand there you idiots, kill them!” Luz would open her eyes, they now beamed with angelic light and her teeth now sharper with a golden grin. She reaches into her bag and pulls out the Walkman and calmly puts in a tape, she puts it on full volume as track 1 plays.

As it played music, Luz cracked her knuckles while the guards surrounded her, slightly nervous at what this human can do.

The guards all rushed Luz and tried to overwhelm her with their power in numbers but she just countered ever single one of their attacks and responded with heavy punches to the face and gut.

After the serious ass kicking the guards started to retreat, leaving a stunned Eda and a pissed off Warden Wrath. “Well I guess if you want it done right, you do it yourself!” Warden Wrath rushed Luz with monstrous speed, Luz could only grin wider as he rushed. “Bring it on you fucking pussy!”

Luz would deliver a massive haymaker directly at Warden Wrath’s face, knocking off his mask and showing his face, his lower jaw now sporting a broken tooth. “Damn dude! Now I see why you had the mask on, you look ugly as shit!” Luz would say with a smug grin.

This is the last straw for Wrath as he lets out a deep roar and rushes at Luz. “I’m gonna fucking massacre in you!” This catches Luz off guard as Wrath rams her through the contraband door and onto the main floor of the prison.

”Luz!” Eda cries out in shock and worry as she rushes down to help her. Luz however quickly gets up, blasting Wrath away with a beam of holy light, she now has a pissed look on her face. “Okay I’m over this shit! This ends now!”

As Luz and Wrath trade blows. They knock into a lever that’s controls the entire network of cells and end up opening them all. Seeing the opportunity, Luz grins and starts to sing along with the song.

As the songs ends, every single prisoner is riled up, as Luz pins Wrath, she speaks up again. “To everyone that was locked away for just being themselves! Remember that us weirdos, we gotta stick together!” Everyone cheers on Luz as they exit the cells, Luz knocks out Warden Wrath with one last punch to the head, and the golden shimmer in Luz’s eyes and teeth start to dim away.

”Come on Eda, let’s get the hell outta here.” Eda, who is too shocked to speak, just nods and pulls out her staff as they begin to fly into the nights sky.

After a few hours, they reach a house secluded deep in the woods. Eda knocks on the door, which awakens the owl symbol on the door as it begins to talk. “Why hello there Eda! And who’s your new friend? Hoot!”

”Just let us in Hooty, we’re all tired and we need rest.” Eda says with an exhausted look on her face. “Alright alright! Geez! I just wanted to hear about you day! Hoot!

The owl obscenely opens his mouth and opens the door into the owl house. As Luz walks in, she stares in wonder at the many trinkets and items from adventures untold, she is so immersed that she doesn’t even notice Eda pulling out the door as she opens the gateway between her world and Luz’s. “Welp! A deals a deal Luz, you can go back home now.”

As Luz walks towards the door, she hesitates. As she remembers what awaits her back home. Camp. “On second thought, do you mind if I could maybe stay here?” “Wait, seriously?” Eda would say in shock at this revelation. “Yeah! Even though we did almost die, this has been really fun and probably one of the best days of my life! So can I stay?” As Eda, ponders the decision, she thinks about the cost it would bring her of food and other supplies, but having an extra set of hands that can somehow generate beams of light and kick ass is very helpful. “Alright kiddo! You got a deal.” Eda would say with a grin on her face. Luz would beam with happiness. As Eda showed Luz to her room, she couldn’t help but think. “Wait where’s King?” She brushed off the fact that she never actually meet the overpowering demon. “You’ll see him tomorrow, but get some rest kiddo, we got some work to do tomorrow!” As Luz settled in her makeshift bed, she gets a text from her mom asking how the camp is. Luz happily responds with “I think I’m gonna like it here.” Before putting her phone away and going to bed.

Chapter 6: Willow Park’s Day Off

Summary:

Luz and Adam finally meet the king of the demons and Luz gives a young kind witch a nice day off.

As the sun slowly rose up and began to peek through the window. Luz arose from her slumber and gazed out the window. “Alright boiling isles! Let’s do this shit.” Luz would confidently say as she stared out the window.

As she stared though she would see an odd sight. She didn’t know if she was sleep deprived or not but from the distance it looks like some demonic Spinosaurus on a sick ass motorcycle covered in flames. Luz would question everything as she stared at the glorious sight, but before she could talk, the demon just gave a nod a drove off into the distance never to be seen again.

“You know what….good for him.” Luz would calmly say as she walked down to see a passed out Eda on the couch. Adam would telepathically say a snarky comment. “(Damn she had a rough night huh?)” Luz would reply “(Yep. By the way, how long do you plan to stay stuck in my head?)”

“(As long as we’re here Luz. You saw how dangerous this fucking place is. And in case you forgot, I’m supposed to make sure you are FUCKING SAFE!)” Adam would reply with a frustrated tone of voice, obviously not happy about being here. “(Besides, gotta make sure your thoughts are holy and pure and all that shit.)”

“(Excuse you Adam! But my thoughts are 100% PG.)” Luz would say with a sense of confidence while Adam mentally frowned. “(Dumbass, I’m in your head, you can’t hide your thoughts. And whats this I see~? Why it looks like it’s some fun fanart of Azura and Hecate! Looks like Azura drank some pink potion and grew a big fat-)”

“(OKAY! OKAY! So I’m not that pure and slightly horny!)” Luz would reply with a heavy blush on her face while Adam just laughed it up. “(Slightly horny? You are lowballing and you fucking know it! Can’t hide from an angel, I know the shit your into!)”

“(SHUT THE FUCK UP! I get it you fucking prick I’m a horny teen I fucking get it!)” As the two continued to mentally bicker and argue. Eda would slowly awaken from her slumber.

“What the fuck is going……oh right, the kid.” Eda would slowly get up from the couch, groggily standing up to face Luz. “Okay Luz, couple of things to go over since you are now living here.”

Luz would compose herself and turn to Eda to listen. “Okay. If you want to live you need to help me with my business. That’s means helping me with my stand, scavenging for things to sell. Oh and one more thing. I not the only person who lives here. His name is king and he’s basically my roomie.”

Before Luz could respond, the entire house slightly shakes from heavy footsteps, and as they get closer, a voice is heard. “Who dare intrudes upon I? The king of demons!”

As the demon showed himself in the doorway. Luz was expecting a huge and hulking monster from the voice and the weight beneath his footsteps. However, he was a cute little demon with black fur and a skull like head with horns.

Luz’s eyes would widen at the sight of the adorable demon. “Well hey there cutie!” Luz would say with a bright smile on her face. “My name is Luz and hope you don’t mind but I’m gonna be staying here for a bit.” Luz would reach done to shack his hand.

King raised his own hand to shack Luz’s. But the moment his hand touches Luz’s his eyes widen in horror as deep within Luz’s eyes, he could see a shadowy figure with golden eyes and a golden grin and two horns, laughing cruelly on a mountain of dead demon bodies. As the vision fades, King hides his own overwhelming fear with faux sympathy.

“O-Oh yeah. Nice to meet you to Luz.” Luz wouldn’t notice the nervousness of King and would wander into the kitchen. As breakfast goes on with small talk and Eda letting Luz explore for the day, King can barely focus after that horrific image. As Luz finally leaves to explore the isles. King immediately says. “I don’t think we should let her stay.” Eda, surprised by King’s blunt statement, she brushes it off as a joke. “What are you talking about? Luz is just a kid. Not much of a threat to the King of demons~” King would immediately fire back with evident fear in his voice. “I’m serious Eda! When I touch her hand it felt like I was gonna die!” Eda noticing that King is actually serious, goes to comfort him. “Hey. Look if Luz is any trouble then I’ll take care of it and besides, give her a chance she’s actually pretty nice.” Eda said in a sympathetic tone of voice, King feels more relaxed then before, but still the terrifying vision left a chill in his spine and caused her fur to stand up before one though came to his mind. “(What even are you Luz?)”

Meanwhile with Luz:

Luz, now fully in the woods and the owl house out of sight, she enjoys her walk and the peace and quiet, until she heard someone talking. She peeks in the bushes and sees a girl her age with glasses and green eyes.

“You can do it. Even if you get a bad grade, it's not a reflection of you as a witch. And my parents are right. There are better opportunities on this track. Now, get to school!” She steps forward and points confidently, but gets sad when she realizes she stepped on a flower. “Oh, no! Oh, little friend! I'm sorry!” She quickly healed the flower, but as she did her eyes glow green and the small flower turned into a massive one. Luz gasped and stepped out of the bushes.

“Damn! Honestly with magic skills like that I don’t see why you would even get bad grades.” Luz would say with a smile on her face. The girl lightly smiled, appreciating the sympathy. “Wow, thank you! I don’t think we met before. My name is Willow Park, nice to meet you!”

Luz would return the smile. “Luz Noceda. Nice to meet you to Willow!” As Luz smiled, Willow couldn’t help but notice Luz’s ears as she started to trace them. “So circly…..” She did this for a few seconds until she gasped in realization.

“You're human! This is astounding! A human on the Boiling Isles! How'd you get here? What are you doing here?” Before Luz could answer, a loud bell was heard in the distance and Willow’s good mood instantly faded. “Well it was nice meeting you Luz, but if you’ll excuse me. I gotta go disappoint my teacher.”

Luz would feel a pang of sympathy for Willow as she can recall her own not so great experiences with school, but as she was walking away. An idea popped in her head and she grabbed Willow’s arm. “Wait. What if I told you that you didn’t have to go to school today?”

Willow would pause in confusion. “Wait are you talking about?” Luz would exhale and let go of Willow. “Look, I don’t know if magic schools have days off or a week long break or some shit. But just from looking at you, I can tell you need a day off. So how about me and you skip school today?”

Willow would think about it deeply, looking back at the school, and looking back at Luz. After what felt like an eternity, she looked at Luz with a smile. “You know what? A day off sounds nice today.” Luz would wildly grin and wrap and arm around Willow. “That’s the spirit! Now let’s get the hell outta here.” As the duo walked away, ready to start their own day off. Little did they know, someone else was listening to that conversation. Another girl with light green hair, golden eyes, and a naturally frown on her face. “Just what are you up to Half-Witch.”

As the day goes on and Luz and Willow stroll around Bonesborough. Willow finds herself having more fun than she did in a lifetime. From causing shenanigans to enjoying some food or just plain talking, she was having so much fun. They eventually return back to walking in the forest as it reaches noon and Luz’s asks Willow a question.

“Hey Willow, hope you don’t mind me asking but why were you so nervous about going to school today?” Luz would ask with curiosity in her voice. Willow’s smile would dim slightly at the reminder of school. “Oh, it was mainly because of this exam, we had to make a fully functional abomination golem and I’m not great at it.”

Luz would be slightly confused. “But you seem so strong already, I mean did you realize what you did to that plant?” Willow would slightly chuckle at Luz’s response. “That’s plant magic Luz. There are nine main track’s young witches have to join and I’m in the abomination track and I hate it.”

“If you hate it so much then why don’t you quit?” Luz would ask, Willow would only sigh at the question. “I wise it were that simple. My parents kinda made me do this track so I would have better opportunities later on in life and I just want to make them proud.” Luz would slightly gasp at this newfound info and would get a little irritated at Willow’s parents for forcing her to do the track.

“Well fuck that honestly! I’d rather do something if actually enjoy then do just because I’ll make more money.” Luz would turn to Willow with a determined stare. “Your happiness comes first over everything Willow, not you job, not your parents and not your studies. If I were you, I’d talk to them and tell them what I truly feel! And if they really love me, they would accept me for who I am!”

Willow would stare at Luz in slight shock and was about to say something before she stood up and continued. “And of your parents don’t accept you for doing what you love? We’ll always remember that family doesn’t always mean blood.”

Willow is overwhelmed with both shock and happiness, however before she could even respond. Another voice chimed in, it was smug and dripping with false sweetness. “I was wondering where you wondered off to Half-Witch.”

Both Luz and Willow would turn to see two figures. The first one being the same girl spying on Willow and Luz. While the other one has bright pink hair and three eyes, her expression smug and cruel. While Luz looked in utter confusion, she noticed Willow’s tense demeanor and the slight shake in her stance.

Luz could feel her blood boil just from seeing how deeply these two affected Willow, so with a deep breath, Luz stepped forward. “Who the fuck are you two?”

“Charming~ I thought that you would at least respect your superiors human.” The green haired girl would scowl. “But I’ll at least answer you, my name is Amity Blight, and my associate here is Boscha Havenstar.”

“My name is Luz Noceda, no kindly do me and my friend here and favor and fuck off.” Amity’s scowl would deepen and Boscha would have a pissed off look. “Sorry but that’s not happening. We have some business with Willow over here that doesn’t involve you, so how about you fuck off instead?”

“Yeah that’s not happening Blighty.” Amity’s scowl would turn into a full frown as she motioned to Boscha to handle Luz. Boscha grinned ear to ear at the chance. “Oh this is gonna be so easy! You’re as good as dead human!” Boscha said with smug confidence.

“Yeah that’s great, but before we start just tell me something. What did the five fingers say to the face?” Boscha would pause in confusion before being sucker punched right in the face, knocking her out with a bloody nose.

Willow would gasp in shock both at the fact that Luz knocked out Boscha and that she did so easily. Amity’s frown got even worse at the sight of her bloody companion. “Titan damming Boscha you fucking embarrassment!” She would give a cold stare to Luz before saying. “This isn’t over human. Not by a long shot.” Amity would summon an abomination golem to carry the unconscious Boscha. Luz would stare at Amity’s departure with a emotionless face before turning into a grin. As soon as Amity left, Willow rushed over in awe and worry. “Oh my titan I can’t believe you just did that! And to Amity Blight as well!” Luz would again stare at Willow in confusion. “Okay you say her name like it’s so important, just who the hell is she?” “Only the daughter of the most successful company in the isles! Blight industries practically runs most of the isles!” Luz would stare at Willow for a few seconds before simply saying. “Whatever. So she’s a rich kid, big deal! She is still just a bitch.” There was a long pause after Luz said that, until for what felt like an eternity of staring at nothing she said. “That’s hot as fuck not gonna lie.”

Chapter 7: The Owl Beast

Summary:

Luz and Adam finally figure out the real reason of why Eda is called the Owl Lady

The sun shines brightly over the isles as Luz is in her room. Fiddling with the electric guitar she brought home from the Conformatorium. She stares out the window when Adam interrupts her.

 

“(Remind me again why we decided to bring that guitar home? We don’t even have a fucking amp.)” Adam would say with his usual snarky tone.

 

“(What kid wouldn’t want an electric guitar? Besides if we found a guitar, I’m sure we’ll get lucky and find an amp or some shit. Also a cable to connect em.)” Luz would retort with a confident attitude. Adam scoffs but can’t help chuckle at Luz’s response.

 

“(Whatever you say kid.)” Luz would go back to messing with the guitar until she is interrupted by the sound of lightning. She looks back outside to see that it’s heavily raining. “Aww fuck yeah!”

Luz would run downstairs to go run around in the rain but was stopped at the door by Eda. “No way! Unless you want to melt to death then you’re staying inside.”

Before Luz could question Eda, she quickly noticed how different the rain was, and the fact that it was burning the grass and flowers definitely kept her at the door. She watched in wonder as Eda started to perform the spell to cover the house. “Boiling rain huh? I guess that makes sense cause it is the boiling isles.” Luz would say with curiosity in her voice. “Makes me wonder what other crazy weather you guys got here.”

“Yeah, we don't have weather. We have plagues, gorenados, shale hail, painbows.” Eda would say with slight annoyance from having to deal with said weather. “It’s basically a rainbow but it turns you inside out.” King would say, coming out of the house.

“So until the rain stops, your butts are gonna be stuck in this house.” Eda would say as she just finishes the force field over the house. “And if the rain doesn't get you, the Snaggleback will! They wander the rain, feeding on boiled tourists.” King would say as he shows Luz an image on the Snaggleback in an attempt to scare her, but ended up failing. “Nice try, but it’s gonna take more than some urban legend to scare me!”

As the trio walks in and lays about for the next hour, a thought crosses Luz’s mind. “Hey Eda! Why do they call you the Owl Lady exactly?”

Eda freezes up for a slight moment and then returns to her usual demeanor and brushes off the question. “It’s because I’m so wise~” Eda said with a grin. “Maybe it’s because you get distracted by anything shiny.” King said with a plain face.

“Yeah right! I don’t get distracted by-wait whats that….” Eda would trail off as King pulled out a shiny crystal pen that glowed a bright pink. “It shimmers and sparkles…..I need it for my nest!” Eda would pounce in attempt to grab the pen but King moves out of the way and hides the pen in his fur as he walks over to Luz in curiosity as Eda walks upstairs to go to bed.

King was still cautious around Luz, especially after that chilling image. But he couldn’t wallow around his own home in fear, he was a powerful demon! So he steeled himself and decided to pop the question. “Hey….Luz, can we talk.”

Luz would open one eye and sit up from her napping position. “What’s up King?” Luz would ask in confusion.

King took a deep breath and went for it. “Look, I when we first meet, you seemed like such a nice person. A nice smile, polite, and honest.” King would say with a smile on his face, which quickly dimmed to a frown as he continued. “But when I shook your hand. All that faded and was replaced with sheer terror…..a chilling sharp grin, golden eyes filled with pure malice, and it felt like right then and there you were gonna eat me alive!” King would say with a tremble in his voice. “So please answer me when I ask this….what are you Luz Noceda?”

Luz’s expression was one of pure shock and guilt as she heard King’s heartfelt confession. As she was about to speak, she was cut off by a heavy crash coming from the floor above them, and a loud and audible snarl.

Luz and King both shared a look of determination before sprinting upstairs directly into Eda’s room. They could only gaze in horror as they witnessed their mentor, transform into a monstrous owl beast with sharp talons and imposing size. She let out an ear piercing roar before slamming through a wall and disappear into the quiet and now darkened house.

“King. What the fuck just happened.” Luz would say with a stunned expression and a slight tremble in her voice. “I wish I could tell you Luz, cause I have no clue.” King would reply with the same stunned look and tremble. “Shit! Shit! Shit! What the fuck would Eda do in this situation!” Luz would say, pacing around the destroyed bedroom while panicking before stopping with an idea. “Okay, King! Go look in the kitchen and try and find anything that can help! I’ll try and keep Eda busy.”

 

King could only nod and scurry off downstairs to the kitchen. As he leaves, Eda would reappear and pounce on Luz would a savage roar. Luz could only panic and do her best to push her back while trying not to hurt her. “Sorry Eda, but I need you to calm down!” Luz head butts Eda in the face and throws her through the smashed wall before dashing into the balcony of the house, locking the doors before slumping down in defeat.

“Okay…..I can totally handle this, just that my mentor turned into a giant fucking monster this is total fine!” Luz would panic, venting her frustration but slamming her fist the wall, knocking her phone out of her pocket, causing it to play a video from early that night. It shows Eda drawing a circle with her finger in the air, which glows orange. However the video pauses, revealing a symbol within the circle. Out of curiosity, Luz takes a leaf from the balcony and draws over the symbol, once it’s finished, she taps the leaf. It crumbles on itself and turns into a ball of pure light.

“Holy shit….I just did magic….I FUCKING DID IT!” Before Luz could carry on with her excitement, she was interrupted by glowing light directly on her left arm. She lifted up the sleeve of her shirt to gasp in shock to see that the glyph symbol materialized on her body. She tapped the symbol only for it to glow brightly as she could feel magic course through her veins. “Magic tattoo’s….I could get used to this.”

Her thoughts were interrupted again by King bursting through the door. “Luz! I found it, look!” She showed Luz a bottle of orange elixir. “An elixir a day keeps the curse away! If we could get her down, we could feed her this and turn her back!”

Luz couldn’t help but grin. “Good, here’s the plan. Ill lead her back to her room. If Eda is still herself deep down then anything with a bright light should work. Once shes in here I’ll blind her with some light and you force feed her that elixir!” King would nod before running off into Eda’s room to prepare. Luz would steel herself before heading downstairs. To see Eda gnawing on the couch.

“Hey jackass! That’s right you stupid fucking bird I’m right here! Come and get me!” Eda would let out and ear piercing screech before dashing towards Luz.

Luz in turn would haul ass and run upstairs, ducking into Eda’s room. Eda would smash into the wall before running into the room, only to see Luz standing right in here face, her palms glowing with the light glyph and her body radiating a bright light. “THINK FAST CHUCKLE NUTS!” Luz flash banged Eda in the face, Eda in turn roars in sheer pain.

Three Hours Later…..

Eda slowly wakes up, her head throbbing in pain and a long straw connecting to her elixir in her mouth, she quickly finishes it and groans in pain. “Ahh! W-What happened? Oh, I have the worst headache. And my mouth feels like it’s covered in splinters.” Eda gags at the pain. “Oh shit. Must have forgot to take this before I went to bed. That means that I….shit! KING! LUZ! ARE YOU OKAY!”

“We’re okay Eda, me and Luz handled it don’t worry.” King would say with a smile, happy to see Eda back to normal. Eda would smile and quickly hug King. “Oh thank Titan you’re okay! But where’s Luz?” King would smile and point towards Luz, the corner of the room covered with floating balls of light. Eda could only gasp in shock. “How is she doing that……it’s amazing.”

Luz would glance over to see Eda is now awake and she smiles brightly and rushes over and gives her a hug. “Eda! I’m so glad that you’re okay! I thought you would be stuck like that forever!” Eda would return the hug slowly, her face having a slow smile, before turning into a slight frown from guilt.

“I haven't been completely honest with you guys. When I was younger, I was cursed. I don't know exactly how it happened, all I know is that if I don't take my elixir... Well, that's why people call me the Owl Lady. No one likes having a curse, but if you take the right steps, it's manageable.” Luz couldn’t help but feel angry at the fact that someone cursed her mentor. “What sick fucker would do that!” Eda would just shrug. “When you live long enough and when you’re a wanted criminal, you make a lot of enemies. At least with you two around I can actually have some allies to trust.” Eda would say with a warm smile. While Luz couldn’t help but feel guilty for keeping her secret about Adam.

“Since we’re getting stuff off our chests. I haven’t been completely honest with you both.” Luz would say, now standing up before King and Eda.

“Adam……you can come out now.” King and Eda would stare in confusion before staring in amazement as Luz’s body began to glow with a heavenly light, the light began to form a body and after a moment Adam appeared from the light with a shit eating grin. “~What’s up babyyy~” Eda and King would stare in shocked silence before Eda said “What the actually fuck!”
