Two Time was aware. Their ex-boyfriend, Azure, was dating that other killer. 1x4. The cultist was unsure when it came to be. When Azure had fallen for the other. Of course, it was never easy on the cultist. They refused to look towards Azure’s way. How could Two Time feel anything but jealousy? They tried to be understanding, but the desire burning in their chest made them queasy. Seeing their ex-lover with someone else made them feel miserable. How could they force these feelings down? They hated this feeling. They hated everything about it. 

 

They could feel the burning eyes of their fellow survivalists everytime a round ended. One that specifically involves Azure or 1x. They seem to know that the cultist was avoiding the two. Fortunately, no one ever asked about it. Two Time couldn’t bear to raise his dagger against his ex-lover or the object of their hatred. They don’t remember the last time they felt so disgusted with themself. With how all this turned out. If anything, would they have had a perfect life with Azure. If they didn’t let the cult guide them to slaughtering the other. Why had they done it? It was their fault that their ex-lover had moved on. He no longer loved them. Azure no longer thought about them. He had his own life. His own love. One that wouldn’t stab him in the back. One who wouldn’t betray their trust.

 

Another round had started. Of course it was Azure. Two Time hid as they always did. Away from Azure. They didn’t help on rounds such as these. The survivors never pried and the other sentinels seemed understanding. Probably due to Chance’s connection with the one with the ice crown and the admin’s connection with 1x as well. Whatever the reasoning may be, Two Time was grateful. No one had been killed yet. That was very unlike Azure. Their ex-lover was usually always quick with his first kill. So where did he go-

 

“Are you done hiding, pest?”

 

Two Time swung around from the machine they have been doing. Of course they were zoning off and hadn’t realized that Azure had crept over. The other man looked twice as intimidating as he glared at the cultist. Two Time felt a shiver up their spine. Was it so obvious that they were hiding? 

 

“Answer me.”

 

“What do you want, Azure?”

 

“Drop the attitude. Why have you been avoiding 1x and I?”

 

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

 

“ Nightshade .”

 

That nickname… That nickname made Two Time nearly jolt. Because, usually, it was said during times of passion. During nights where they let go of their inhibitions and embraced each other. Said with a growl to his voice and a specific glint in his eyes. The reminder made Two Time uneasy. Because that meant Azure remembered. Azure remembered all those nights from too long ago. That means Azure may not have moved on yet. It was wrong. It was wrong, yet the inner voice. Shit.

 

“Two Time…?”

 

“Shut up. It’s nothing. Why haven’t you killed me already?”

 

“Do you think you could meet me in the forest after this round? This is the last one for the day afterall.”

 

“After this round. . .?”

 

“Yeah. You’ve been avoiding me when all we need to do is… talk!”

 

“Ah. Okay.”

 

“I’ll let you live this round, Two Time. But, please, I would rather you don’t tell anyone about our encounter. And don’t tell anyone about your little trip into the woods either, hm?”

 

“Uh. Alright, Azure. If it makes you happy.”

 

Azure smiled tightly. It didn’t quite reach his eyes as he patted the cultist on the head, “Good. See you later, Two.”

 

And with that, Azure left. Two Time finished the machine they were doing pretty quickly afterwards and sat beside it, letting their mind wander. What did Azure possibly want with them? The cultist sighed. They just wanted to apologize to Azure and maybe they could mend their relationship even if just slightly. Perhaps they could do this with their talk later. That was really the only reason they accepted the offer. That and they really wanted to see their used-to-be lover despite the other already dating Shedletsky’s hatred. Whatever. Two Time doubted it would go too far. They would go out, meet Azure, talk, and leave. Simple enough. 

 

Worse case scenario, Azure murders them and leaves their body to rot. Maybe the other would be kind enough to buy them but they doubt so. They would bring their dagger to protect themself if needed. In no time, the round ended. Only Elliot and they survived. Elliot didn’t say anything to them. Fortunately, Elliot didn’t seem to hate them for their lack of help during these rounds. He did look at them with pity from time to time which just sparked the cultist’s disdain. 

 

Without telling anyone, they made their way into the woods near the cabins. Two Time wasn’t sure exactly where to meet, but if they knew Azure well enough then he’d want them to meet in that field not too far from here. The one that even grew nightshades. Two Time was glad no one else travelled out here. Nightshades were poisonous after all. They wouldn’t want anyone to hurt themselves with this poison. But, making their way to the field, they saw Azure. Not only that, but Azure had a friend with him. 1x. Two Time had to physically hold back from growling. They were a human being. Not a fucking dog. 

 

“What’s 1x doing here, Azure? Are you setting me up?”

 

“Calm down. He wanted to come over to make sure we didn’t do anything he didn’t approve of.”

 

“Ah. Okay…”

 

“He’s just making sure I’m fine. Don’t be too upset.”

 

“I’m not upset.”

 

“You’re not good at hiding your feelings, Two. Never was.”

 

“Whatever. What did you want to talk about. . .?”

 

Azure leaned closer, hand resting on the cultist’s arm. 1x seemed to glare at Two Time and, in turn, Two Time blushed at the close proximity. Azure hummed, “Why have you been avoiding us? It’s just us, Nightshade. ”

 

“You’re my ex-boyfriend. It’s embarrassing to know you’re dating 1x now. And kinda awkward.”

 

“You’re jealous?” 1x chimed in.

 

“Wha- No!”

 

The hatred rolled his eyes, “Sure you’re not.”

 

“Anyways. I didn’t bring you here to just talk, Two Time. I was thinking… I still love you. Seems like 1x doesn’t think so negatively of you as well.”

 

1x looked away, “You’re cute. I wouldn’t mind…”

 

“Wait… You both- Are you asking me to join you ??”

 

Their ex-lover leaned back against 1x instead, “Are you not interested?”

 

“I’m… Interested. Just- Fuck. Fine.”

 

Azure grinned, “We’ll treat you so well, my dear nightshade .” 

 

Two Time didn’t doubt that as both of the killers were looking at them with very predator-like intentions from the way they looked as if they wanted to eat the cultist whole. Two Time allowed them to drag them to the killer’s base. John Doe, sitting outside, simply waved at the trio before glancing up to do a double take because Azure was hoisting Two Time on his shoulder. The cultist looked unfazed as if it happened way too often for them to care anymore (It did when they were dating. Azure did it to end their arguments quickly). 1x was dragging behind the two, giving a brief, uninterested wave towards John. 

 

Azure set the cultist down on his bed. 1x locked the door, being the last to enter. Azure seemed excited though and, to be honest, so was 1x. He wasn’t exactly sure why but he wanted a piece of the cultist as well, if Azure would let him. The ex-cultist, Azure, tugged at the scarf Two Time was wearing. The cultist allowed the other to take their scarf off along with their shirt and pants, only having their underwear on. Two Time glanced between the two. Azure took off his clothes too. Did 1x really wear clothes though…? Azure set on gently kissing his way down the cultist’s neck, leaving small hickies and bites here and there. 

 

1x moved to the space behind the cultist, running his hand through the other’s hair, “Your hair is awfully soft for someone who looked like they just got out of bed.”

 

Two Time groaned, leaning back, “Shut up, one.”

 

“Wow. Did we pass the acquaintance stage into the nickname stage? How special.”

 

I think y’all are going way past that stage,” Azure muttered, slipping Two Time’s underwear off. The cultist closed their legs in embarrassment. The predatory looks from the two killers made them flush.

 

“Getting shy now?” 1x muttered, spreading their legs for Azure.

1x groaned, “You heard them. The whore can take it.”
