"Just because you're different doesn't mean you're wrong."

Summary:

A new survivor was forsakened, yet he had no connections to any of the other survivors let alone the killers. He became an even bigger outcast then 007n7 due to his appearance and inability to speak.
Just because he was a little different doesn't mean he instantly deserved to be outcasted, especially since no one knew who he truly was.

Chapter 1: New arrival

Chapter Text

The round ended with no survivors reaching the end. Reasonably they were all not in the best mood. It took a second for the others to notice him, but when they did they were quite shocked.

"Ok what the fuck? Is this some type of joke?" Elliot, usually the most level headed in these types of situations, blurted out upon looking at the humanoid creature.

"That's not very nice Elliot." Guest 1337 reprimanded with a soft yet stern tone.

"Ok, my bad, but look at it!" He pointed towards the "creature", "Take a good look at it and then tell me it doesn't look like something the Specter would send to fuck with us." He was right, unfortunately, it did look like more of a killer then a survivor.

Speaking of "it", it just silently stood in the corner of the room looking more shooken up then everyone else. After coming to realization that, yes, this is in fact happening it finally registered what was being said about it. The harsh words, reasonably, pissed him off.

Fixing his posture to stand up straight he walked over to Elliot with heavy intimidating steps. The sudden shift in him shut Elliot up instantly and turn to look at it. Now that it was standing at its full height it towered over most of the survivors, Elliot included much to his discomfort.

Looking up at the man caused a shiver to run down the pizza man's spine once he made eye contact with the one eye that was visible. He was pissed. Anyone could tell you that. Despite the aggravated state it was in Elliot spoke up, "What? Are you angry at what I said?" He said sarcastically.

Balling up his fists to try and restrain himself from making a bad first impression [well, a worse first impression], Guest caught the subtle eye twitch and intervened by stepping in between the two, "Enough Elliot." The war vet said with a sharp tone. One that made Elliot huff, roll his eyes, and mutter a small fine under his breath before walking away in defeat.

"I apologize on his behalf," Guest sighed as he turned to look at the strange man, "I'm assuming you're a new survivor. I'm Guest 1337, that was Elliot, I promise he isn't usually like that, and those are the other survivors. You'll get to know them eventually," he motioned with his hand towards the other that were watching from afar, "What is your name?" Guest finally said, turning his attention back towards the newbie.

"ꀪ̵̨̨̩̝͉̌ͅꌦ̷̨̠͙͕̈̐͂̆̔ ̶̢̮̓͝ͅꁣ̸̡̛̎̌̅͝ꋬ̶̲̺̘͚̻͙͛͛́́ꀪ̷̳̓̀͛̀͆͋℮̵͖̗̮͇̻͇̺̇̾̓ ̷̧̢̭͖̘͙̒͑͆ꊛ̶̛̥̣̀̾͗̒̔̎ꈛ̴̨̛͌̃̓ ̶͔͐̉ꊛ̸̨̱͈̟̼͖͆͛ꈛ̴̧̹̱̦͔̅̅͐̐͛́̕ꋬ̴̛̦̩̠̀ꋬ̶̢͔͓̼̯̹̇͐́̾̇͝℃̵͙̫͇̥̌̓́͘" Dead silence was the response to whatever the fuck just came out of its hidden mouth. Shock couldn't even begin to describe what everyone felt, including the one who had spoken [if you can even call it that].

"Uuuhhh...What?" 1337 spoke after a great deal of hesitance. Staring into the wide eyed expression it wore he could tell that that has never happened before to it. That fact was confirmed right away when it began to panic.

It started small, the panic, starting with a slight tremor that rapidly worsened within seconds. Then the confused words that, honesty defied the laws of nature with the garbled distorted sound it was reduced to, which upon hearing whatever it was made the others wince and cover their ears. He tried to calm himself down to hopefully stop the noise from spilling out of him but nothing seemed to work.

His vision blurred from what he assumed to be tears that refused to fall, and a tail he hadn't realized he had wrapped itself around himself in a protective manner. His ear rung. He had no clue when someone had crouched [when did he fall to his knees?] in front of him until he felt them grab ahold of his black clawed hands with more care then he deserved. This caught his attention, flicking his gaze up and at the other man. He was saying something but he couldn't make it out due to the ringing.

Soon though the ringing started to fade and his eyes started to clear up as well allowing him to finally see who this man was.

"Breathe alright? It's going to be ok." Finally able to hear again he tried to calm his breathing to stop hyperventilating but was having difficulty.

"Here, copy what I do ok?" A small reassuring smile appeared on the man's face. He nodded to his best ability and tried to copy the other breathing. Slowly he started to calm down, breath slowing and body relaxing as much as it would allow in the moment [which wasn't much].

"There you go. Let's try again, alright?" He handed the other a notebook and a pen, which he took with shaky hands and a nod, "What's you name?" His voice was calm, soft, and warm as he spoke. Trying not to set him into a panicked state again.

Isaac, my name is Isaac. He wrote, the words weren't the neatest but still able to be read.

"It's nice to meet you Isaac," his eyes softened, "My name is 007n7, but you can call me 7n7 or Seven." His voice was calm and reassuring as he squeezed Isaac's hands slightly in a comforting manner. Watching as Isaac's eye flickered down to their hands as he slowly pulled his hands back, tail softly thumping on the ground behind him.

That was their first encounter. First impression of each other. 007n7, from the little Isaac knew about him, was a kind man. An outcast, yeah, but he was always polite and was one of the only people who didn't feel uncomfortable around him.

Isaac was slowly adjusting to his new body, he found out early on that he didn't have a reflection. He didn't appear in the mirror or on any reflective surface. So, obviously, it made it quite difficult to see what he looked like.

From what he knew his head was blocked by a never still scribble that would quicken its movements when he was stressed or upset, and despite seeing from both eyes only one was visible to others. He had a tail similar to a demons but the tip of the tail had a five pointed star and it was mainly purple besides the two black stripes near the base of the said tail. From his hands reaching to around his elbow was pure black while the rest of his body, besides a few random places, was white like Two Time. He did infact have a head under the scribble, and from what he could feel it was the same as before he appeared in this place just now he had horns as well that were rounded as if they were filed down.

When he first was sent into a game he knew what to do from the other's explanation. So he did what he was supposed to do, and to the others surprise he did so quite fast. He didn't know what abilities he had when in rounds so he tried to stay out of sight and just do the generators. Being unable to speak wasn't the greatest thing, but he made it work.

They dispise you.

So far he tried to stick around 007n7 as much as he would allow himself, mainly due to the other not really liking him or finding his appearance uncomfortable to look at. 007n7 would talk to him unlike the others and he would would listen to every word the man said.

Useless you're useless

He was ok.

He was fine.

He would be fine.

Chapter 2: Isn't it weird?

Summary:

It has been a while since Isaac's been forsakend, and for some reason the others have been getting worse towards him

Chapter Text

Its been about roughly a month [maybe?] since Isaac got here, oddly enough it seemed like the others have only gotten worse when it came to him. It would've hurt worse if he didn't at least have 007n7 to be around.

"Hey Builder?" Shedletsky asked well the two were working on a generator.

"What?" Builderman replied, more concentrated on the task in front of him than anything else.

"Isn't it weird how Isaac is seemingly nowhere to be seen on the map but the generators get finished faster?" The question made Builderman pause. Now that he thought about it Shedletsky was right. Isaac was never around, at least to his knowledge, at first he thought it was just because Isaac died in the beginning but that thought was quickly shot down as he was always at the survivors table at the end of every round.

"Yeah.." Was all he responded with after a minute of silence.

After the round ended Isaac quickly made his way over to 007n7.

"Hey buddy, sorry for dying so early in." He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his neck. It's fine, you tried at least. He wrote before showing 007n7.

"Haha yeah." He responded with a more sincere chuckle.

As the two continued their conversation Shed and Builder observed from afar.

"Something is strange about him." The shorter man said after a moment.

"You mean the appearance or him in general?" The chicken hybrid asked.

"Both. Something about him doesn't sit right with me." He responded, voice low with unease. Shedletsky just hummed in acknowledgement.

They know

Isaac's tail twitched as he walked to his cabin. It was after the rounds were over for the day and 007n7 told him he was clocking out early today, and since he wasn't welcomed he just decided to head out as well. His head was pounding by the time he stumbled through the door. Slamming it closed he barely managed to get to the bathroom without falling over.

He gripped the sink with one hand and his face with the other, staring into the mirror as if it would finally reveal him.

Why? Why couldn't he see himself? Why can't he remember what he looked like? Why? Why?! WHY?!

He did everything he was supposed to! He did everything the voice told him to do! EVERYTHING! And yet still nothing.

He splashed cold water on his face to try and calm himself [maybe he should've taken off his glasses before hand] but it didn't work.

All he could remember before ending up in this fucking place was The Event and a fuzzy memory of a man with red hair. Who even was that? Why does he matter? Does he relate to-.... Shaking his head to rid himself of the thoughts plaguing his mind he nearly pulled out his hair with how hard he was gripping it.

Why is it so fucking hot in here?! Instead of taking his time to unbutton his shirt he just pulled over his head and threw it somewhere in the other room. He hesitated when it came to the black turtleneck he wore underneath but in the end he pulled it off as well. He had a black tank top underneath that he refused to take off no matter how hot it was getting.

He clawed at his arms until they bled, trying to rip the skin off his bones to free the bugs that wriggled underneath.

Shoving himself out of the bathroom where he collapsed to his knees in the doorway of the bedroom he was forced to sleep in. He noticed the window in front of the bed that was usually covered by blinds and curtains was for some reason uncovered, allowing the moonlight to bleed into the room.

They watched him, stalked him, teasing him and spilling lies. Their eyes were always on him as if they could see through the walls he put up.

He stood up so fast it made him dizzy, he pushed the incoming headache away as he closed and covered the window back up. He stepped back, triping over something he didn't bother to look at, landing on his butt. He brought his knees to his chest covering his ears as they began to ring. The scribble seemed to fill the room, moving frantically enough to make his eyes hurt if he stared too long, so he closed his eyes tight.

The buzzing of flies, the smell of rot, the body of someone he forgot.

The ringing was replaced with whispers that grew in intensity at a rapid pace.

But then it stopped. The noise, the frantic movements, everything. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding and opened his eyes as well as uncovering his ears.

I'm ok, I'm fine, it will be fine. He thought to himself as he began to stand up, slower this time. He left the bedroom and put his clothes back on, eerily calm despite what just happened.

Looking at a nearby clock and sighed before deciding he would head to bed. Which he did just that.

He didn't remember if he dreamt.

Notes:

The voice isn't the Specter btw! I won't spoil who/what it is though:>

Chapter Text

TwoTime. Takes one to know one.

From pretty much the beginning they knew Isaac was not the most, uh, sane. And that's putting it lightly. One thing that slightly confused them was on how the others didn't know, I mean it might be due to how well he hides it and due to his "crashouts" being behind closed doors. Also because the guy doesn't talk. Yeah, that's probably a big factor in this whole thing.

TwoTime does, even if the others can't, pick up on his body language and they can guarantee that this man is hanging on by a strand of hair. The way his eye twitches when someone says something remotely rude about him [or 007n7], the way he'd almost frantically move parts of his body when he thought no one was looking, and from just the look in his visible eye can tell you all you need to know.

It was probably due to him being "crazy" due to something other then religious reasons that made them feel something resembling unease. Unlike the others who were just basing on looks alone and didn't know the guy, they were uncomfortable because they knew.

And it seems like Isaac knows he knows.

Because of course he does.

TwoTime will sometimes get caught off guard, which in its self is hard to do, by Isaac making direct eye contact when TwoTime is hiding in the shadows or somewhere they were sure no one could see them. Now it may sound dumb at first, but were talking about a guy who can't look at someone's face for longer then a second, let alone make eye contact, yet will do so intensity when it comes to TwoTime. And we're not talking about normal eye contact that can be brushed off. No. This is the kind you do when you just know.

Everyone was in a round other then Isaac and TwoTime [two people stay behind to make sure nothing goes wrong], something thats been happening way more than it should to brush off as a coincidence. TwoTime was observing Isaac, who was currently on sitting on the dock just watching the water, before they finally walked up to the man who turned his head and looked at them.

"Good evening," they got a nod as the only reply, now how should they ask him what his deal is without making it awkward- "The Spawn has brought it to my attention that something is plaguing you." Ah, right, they were never one to care much for beating around the bush.

They didn't get a response, not a verbal one [obviously] but a physical one. When Isaac stood up it made them flinch ever so slightly with how sudden it was, and when he began to walk towards them they couldn't help but tense and get ready to either run or fight back. The look in his eye was something familiar yet foreign, was this how they made the others feel when they'd look the same way?

Isaac let out a noise, as if wanting to speak but something did for him. Just like everything else in this releam it didn't sound remotely human. That's when it happened. Something TwoTime was the first to witness and probably going to be the only one who does. A mouth formed. Or, well, more so split open when one should've been. It wasn't one that looked like it was on top of the thing blocking his face, no, this one forced the black void to move with it. As if the thing was his face and not just something to block it.

They know they know they know they're not supposed to know how did they know why do they know it's  not going to be very happy with you

TwoTime got out their dagger as its better to have a weapon then to hope you win without. Expecting an attack which never came, they tilted their head in confusion when they mouth disappeared as quickly as it came and he straightened out his clothes. Clearing his throat with a distorted sound he just stared before walking off. TwoTime followed with their eyes, turning to watch him leave and so their back wasn't turned.

With a twitch of his tail being his last response before disappearing from sight back in the main cabin, TwoTime found out they only made it out unharmed due to the round ending.

You're weak. It's disappointed

007n7 made his way over to Isaac when he walked through the door, he barely managed to make it to the end with his life.

"Hey, how was it well I was gone?" He joked elbowing the other softly who just hummed with a hidden smile. The two were the same height, something that 7n7 liked as that ment that they were equal in a way. Isaac's tail swayed behind him as 007n7 talked to him, arms crossed but relaxed as he leaned against the wall.

Somehow they ended up sitting outside on the dock watching the stars after rounds were over. The others were being to loud or something of the sort.

It was peaceful.

Well as peaceful as this place could be.

"You know, it's nice talking to you. Even if you don't respond it's just nice knowing you're listening." 7n7 spoke softly, as if it would break the peaceful moment if he did so. Isaac looked at him with slight shock on his face, but the other didn't look back to see it. He just kept looking at the sky. Isaac's cheeks felt warm, and for once he was glad his face wasn't visible.

007n7 chuckled quietly before looking at Isaac, making eye contact that, for once, was held for a good while. Isaac was the first to look away, fearing if he didn't he'd somehow give himself away. With a soft smile Seven looked away as well, going back to gazing at the sky.

He inched his hand slowly towards the other before resting it on top of his own. Isaac tensed for a brief moment before relaxing, looking to his side away from 7n7 as if he could see how flustered he was.

"I have a question." Those words were spoken so quite, so soft he almost didn't hear them. Isaac refused to look back but he hummed to tell the other he was listening.

"What...I know the question is dumb but, I'm curious and I," he sighed briefly making Isaac turn to look at the former hacker, "I um..fuck..can I touch your face?" He whispered his request, embarrassed at the fact he even asked something so stupid.

"You know what? F-forget it, that was a dumb thing to say." His face felt like it was on fire and he started to pull his hand back, but Isaac stopped him from doing so. Seven forced himself to look back at the other, face getting impossibly redder, which only increased as Isaac slowly pulled 7n7's hand into the scribble and onto his cheek. Seven felt his breath hitch at the odd feeling he felt when his hand disappeared under it, his eyes flickered from where his hand was and to Isaac's eye which was currently looking anywhere but the man in front of him. If his warm cheeks were anything to go off of he was definitely just as flustered as 7n7 was.

Isaac let go of 007n7's hand and leaned slightly into his palm as his thumb started to softly stroke his cheek. Letting out a content sigh with the foreign yet welcomed contact 7n7 started to run his thumb across his bottom lip, watching as his tail practically wagged behind him. He chuckled softly as the two made eye contact, but his breath hitched once again as Isaac opened his mouth a bit and took his finger into his mouth. Blushing once more, though he never really stopped in the first place, he ran his thumb on the others tongue, which was pleasantly soft. The eye contact remained the whole time resulting in him breathing a little quicker.

Shifting his weight on his other hand so he can lean in a bit, Isaac finally looked away to flick his eye to his other hand before looking back into his eyes. He sat his hand on 7n7's as he leaned in a little as well. He pulled his finger out of his mouth to set it back on his cheek, this time a little higher up, he tilted his head slightly when he felt something.

"You wear glasses?" Isaac nodded looking away.

"What kind?" He was definitely not expecting that response, he looked at 7n7, searching his face to try and see if he was making fun of him. But then he remember that he was also wearing glasses so it would be dumb to make fun of someone else when you wear the same thing. Taking off his glasses he showed them to Seven who blushed for a reason he didn't really understand. His glasses weren't all that special, just simple rectangular black frams. Granted the lens were quite thick because he had shit vision but that was about it.

Putting them back on, Seven joked, "So you do have two eyes." Isaac just groaned at the dumb joke but smiled nonetheless. He slid his hand higher until he made contact with what he assumed as little rounded horns from the feel alone.

"I should've expected that, especially because you have a tail," He chuckled before lightly grabbing one and rubbing the tip, "But why do they feel like you shave them down?" Forgetting that horns tend to be quite sensitive, he continued to mindlessly caress them, only realizing what he was doing when finally Isaac let out something akin to a whine and grabbing his arm. Eyes widening he quickly pulled away, "Shit! Sorry, I completely forgot how sensitive those are!" Embarrassment and shame flushed his face with red but when he looked into the man's eyes he noticed just how much it effected him. His eyes were glazed over with what could only be arousal, the scribble seemed to shrink just enough to be able to cover his face instead of his entire head, and his tail was thumping hard on the wooden dock below. Due to how white he was the pink tint on the back of his neck stood out.

He didn't let go of 7n7's arm when he leaned in and placed his head on his shoulder with what might of been a whimper but he wasn't fully sure. 7n7 just gulped before deciding to run his fingers through the man's [surprisingly] soft black hair.

They stayed like that for a while while Isaac calmed down, and once he did he finally let go of Seven's arm but he didn't lift his head yet. He enjoyed the way Seven played with his hair.

It was a nice moment for the two. They were comfortable with the closeness and if anything they craved to be closer, but Seven nor Isaac would go that far yet. Both not ready, mentally and physically.

Hopefully it would stay nice like this between the two.

Hopefully It would be merciful for once and spare Isaac this one time

*Cutely forgets the plot I made up and just throws old men yaoi at you*
