Damn it. 

Another rejection. She’s been at the lake for hours, trying to embody an inviting perch.

Silly, maybe. Desperate, definitely. But she needs Zayn to call. To announce she’s gotten that job in London and she’s finally coming home.

That Harry’s long distance pining might finally end. 

Another dragonfly appears. Harry inhales, steadying her extended arm. 

Its wings tickle when it lands.

Harry gasps and her phone vibrates. 

She worries her lip and answers. 

Zayn's perfect face fills she screen. She's beaming. 

Harry's breath hitches and the dragonfly flutters away. 

“Up for a new flatmate, H?”

Harry beams back.
