Zero grumbled annoyed as he walked to crossover boiling under his uniform even without the jacket and it being mid fall he was hot. Pulling his shirt collar the ex-human stood ready for the day class students to go crazy, unknowing to the looks he was getting too focused on the heat that was cramping his stomach badly. Rocking on his feet, Zero's eyes fluttered as his breath came out short, almost gasping at the pain also unaware of Yuki's worried look or the night class exiting the building only to stop at the ex-human's silence and that of the day class.
Kaname looked silently with a tilted head and narrowed eyes as he watched the perfect wondering if he was planning something when a sharp breeze carried his scent to the vampires making the lower members of the night class growl in want while his inner circle held their breaths the only ones not effect were Ruka and Rima along with Takuma and Senri who were mated.
Kaname stood straighter, his spine rigid as his nails sharpen into claws turning to snarl at the rowdy vampires who dared think of approaching the dazed level d who seemed to be swaying as Yuki tried to hold off the few human alphas in the crowd. Wide eyed in disbelief Kaien automatically stepped forward towards Zero in panicked worry “Fuck he this doesn't make sense! He's always been a beta. He can't just suddenly be an omega 5 years after the presentation!” Kaname growled as he headed to Zero's room frustrated “I'm aware of this Cross it doesn't change the fact that he is and we don't know why or how Zero will react to the news”.
Cross sighed as he attempted to take his son from Kaname's arms only to be snarled at making his face go blank as his golden eyes hardened voice low in warning “give me my son alpha” Kaname sneered but handed the perfect over to his adopted father. Making Kaien relax as he waited for Kaname to leave who just stared at him blankly as if the answer was simple that he wasn't leaving “Kaname he will freak out if he wakes and you're here and old friend I don't trust you to be near my son during his first heat please leave”.
Kaname heard his beast roar in fury that the pureblood had to hold in to speak calmly, though his words sounded forced out of his throat “Cross I can assure you I will not harm Zero during his time of vulnerability. The others of the night class I am unsure of” Kaien growled he wasn't affected even being an alpha as his inner alpha saw Zero as his son someone he swore to protect and care for.
He wanted to trust the pureblood but he was also aware of what Kaname truly was and the fact that if his son said no the progenitor would not react well to being denied. Kaien swore as he sat Zero down on his bed and covered him ignoring his son's whine from the heat of the covers as he glared at the pureblood who nonchalantly glanced back as long as his eyes would allow him to leave Zero's body. “Kaname, if my son is hurt or mentally scarred more by you and your actions I will find a way that you will never see Zero again or be able to find him and that is a promise I will keep to you”.
The progenitor ground his teeth as he breathed deeply which didn't help as he inhaled the, perfect’s honey plum scent “understood Kaien he will be perfectly pure by the time you return with heat supplies” Cross roamed his eyes over the taller male and bit his lip but nodded firmly and stepped towards the door “do not miss heed my warning pureblood” Kaname smiled sharply his voice mocking to the point Kaien wasn't sure if he heard it or not “of course my old friend I would never break the trust we have”.
As Kaine exited the room Kaname caught his muttered words clearly and grinned maliciously at how very true they were “it's not only my trust you'd be breaking. It's the trust you've never had”. The purebloods eyes lowered as the other scent of alpha left the room to only be soaked in Zero's soft and sweet scent mixed with his sharp spice with a copper tang he could hear the ex-human inhale greedily as he whimpered. Kaname must admit he long since thought that the hunter was beautiful in every sense of the word. His fiery personality that defied him so venomously to his hard amethyst eyes that glared at him in hate and half hidden desire that truly confused the boy to his wits end. Pure silver hair that catches his eyes in every light of day and the halo glows it attained under the moon, his snow white skin that was defiled by the horrid hunter tattoo when all that should be there was Kaname's mark of possession. His mate was lethal in every word of the way and Kaname damned his very soul for how he treated him. Kaname shamed himself by how he let the guilt of his actions to his descendents and their true child guide his life and who he would mate ignoring his true mate who he caused tremendous suffering to.
It took him turning Yuki back into a pureblood for him to realize he felt nothing and he would not lie to his sister who seemed to feel nothing either if how she looked at her human best friend said anything to him. It seemed that both Kuran's took a liking to dominant omegas and hunters as Yori was in training. Sitting down next to the new omega Kaname gently but tentatively brushed long fingers through slightly damp hair marveling at the texture of silver strands spun like spider silk. The question is why was his mate's omega presence just now coming forth. It had been half a decade since Zero's presentation as a beta which was really not gaining a scent gland or distinctive smell that led to a sharp tang of alpha or a fresh softness that was omega. Kaname was disappointed at the time after he had met Zero officially to find his mate a beta even though the purebloods resolutely denied that a hunter child much less a level d and falling be his mate but he knew deep down he was hiding his guilt from himself.

Originally Kaname believed it was the Hio blood in Zero and it was as his blood tinged with the common scent of cherry blossoms they seemed to carry but it wasn't just that. Zero's blood carried the cherry blossoms scent of the Hio's, the smell of full hunter, the close to non-existent smell of level d and then a dark deep scent something primordial. Something ancient as he without a true scent may be salt if he really tried to name it but it was just dense and there in a way as if he was being crushed by the sheer weight of the aura when it leaked free.
Kaname sighed out, it fit his mate to have such an intense and raw power as he felt Zero's fang break the skin of his thumb as his mate lapped lazily at the bleeding, his body calming as his alphas blood gave him strength to break through the haze his first and imprudent heat had put him in.
Zero groaned as his breathing slowed while his eyes opened fully in confusion. He was not outside anymore he was definitely in his room the pureblood vampire king was definitely with him and as he sucked almost mechanically on the thumb in his mouth the small drops of blood soaking his tongue making Zero gasp as he scrambled away his body seizing as soon as he distanced himself. Even if he wanted to whine he stayed back due to pure will alone to get some fucking answers!
Pointing at the frowning pureblood Zero's eyes widened at his state of undress and screamed as he crossed his arms over his body and his legs over his hardness face flushed heavily in mortification “what the fuck Kuran! Why are you here! Why am I fucking naked! Why the fuck was I sucking your thumb and why the hell is it so damn hot in here!” Kaname kept the sharp retort to himself about how he wasn't naked seeing as the pureblood oh so graciously left his underwear on. Clearing his throat the pureblood answered hoping he kept the pure thirst out of his voice so as to not alarm the perfect “are you unaware of what is occurring to your body at this moment Zero”.
Zero froze as his body cramped harshly from the vampire king's voice, his brain racing at how deep it was and husky but smooth and distracting rolling over his body like silk. At how the crimson eyes were lowered at him as if trying to tempt him closer. Kaname's body was perfectly straight but his stance even if sitting gave way to a true hunter, a predator and Zero shivered as his body recognized himself as the prey. Widening now panicked lilac eyes Zero stuttered his reply as he tried to make himself smaller, something he's never done with the pureblood before “I-I'm sick r-right? It's j-just a cold? R-right!” Kaname almost let a wicked chuckle escape he had never seen the hunter so unnerved it was amusing in a mean way to know that if Zero felt he couldn't fight him off be it physically or with blunt words of hate the purebloods presence caused him fear.
Years ago it would have made him smile with sick joy that the hunter feared him but now his joy was just as sick but in a sultry way. He wanted to take the hunter apart and have him begging for release to swell his womb with his seed to carry the new bloodline of pureblood Kuran's into the world. Oh yes Kaname was well aware how sick in the head he was. You don't live as long as he has been awakened the way he was and retain some of your sanity, some of your humanity no the progenitor thought I've lost that some time ago.
Even so he sighed and relaxed his posture so he didn't seem so aggressive to the hunter who Kaname could see relax as well now that Kaname was making an attempt to be smaller than the new omega in the room. “Zero your body is going into heat” tilted his head to take a deep breath that made Zero's eyes widened at how the pureblood closed his eyes unaware of the bliss on his face only to reopen to wine colored lenses that locked on him in hunger “no I'm afraid you're in full heat now”. His body stiffened as the pureblood leaned towards him by placing his long arm and large hand right in front of his body ignoring as Zero whimpered. In fear or want the ex-human didn't know!
“Ka-name stay back” the pureblood growled low in his throat in predatory annoyance. How dare his mate, his omega mate, demand he stay away from him. “Do not presume yourself in charge because I have not forcefully taken you Zero” Kaname looked into terror filled orbs that shook as they hazed over again the heat taking the new omega under as Zero's body swayed towards him “Please don't do this, please” the pureblood could curse at his mates pleading as he caught Zero in his arms pulling the limp body into his own as he took deep greedy inhales of his mates scent before laying Zero down on his back. Kaname truly disgusted himself as he laid next to his comatose mate as Zero slept off their coupling. The pureblood wasn't blind to what he had done or the ex-hunter waiting for him to leave the room so Kaien may as they say rip him a new one or Kaname thought. He may as well try and kill me. It's nothing more than I would deserve. Ruffling his messy hair Kaname pulled himself from his mates bed and at least resigned himself to pull his underwear and uniform pants back on. Kaname used his black shirt to place on his mate buttoning Zero into the expensive fabric while smoothing his hair down to kiss the hunter's flush cheek in regret. Did the pureblood regret mating Zero and marking him no Kaname knew he didn't regret that he did however regret that he did in fact break his old friend's trust and the nonexistent trust he had with Zero who was probably going to want to kill him once his heat was over.
Sighing as he stepped out of his young mates room Kaname was not shocked or fearful of the katana blade posed at his throat ready to end his life. Kaien grit his teeth in anger failing to hide his want to decapitate the pureblood “I warned you Kaname”. Kaname nodded his eyes solemnly as they stared calmly back into furious gold “he's my mate”. Now that had got the ex-hunter's attention as he faltered in his hold on the purebloods shoulder and his strong hold on his blade in favor of stepping back “explain”. Kaname despised being told what to do especially in that tone but he was painstakingly aware he owed it to his friend.
Kaname waved his hand in the direction of the stairs silently offering to speak in the privacy of the chairman's office instead of in the hall outside of Zero's room in case the younger hunter woke up. Kaien turned on his heel sharply to move to his office feeling more than hearing the pureblood follow behind him. Opening his door and silently holding it for the vampire king, Kaien moved to his desk after the pureblood had taken his seat, having locked and warded the door. Sitting heavily as a tense silence stretched around the room pulling the older males' nerves tight when Kaname finally spoke “Zero is my mate and I've always known and nothing I say will atone for how I've treated him thus far but he is mine and I have made my claim known. Nothing can change my bite mark Kaien”.
He was truly aware of that, Kaien knew all too well what a bite mark could cause; he's seen it before; hunters who actually end up biting their mates and vampires who have no choice but to bite alike go mad if something happened to their mate, especially by another's doings. If what Kaname was saying was true then his son was the purebloods true mate and if he took Zero the pureblood no the ancestor would rampage and kill anything and anyone to get the younger hunter back. Now because Kaien knew this he had to tread lightly and carefully he could already tell Kaname was pulled tight and ready to fight him should he disagree but there was nothing Kaien could actually do about it. He was Zero's father and this was also his fault because he foolishly decided to leave his son with the pureblood but even he hadn't known that Zero was Kaname's mate no one could have with how the pureblood has treated him these past years.
“Okay. So Zero is your mate do you think he'll care when he comes to. Do you think he won't hate you more than ever before? Do you think he'd want to keep whatever could possibly be growing in him now that you've done what you've done Kaname”. Kaname held back a flinch at his friend's words, his bitter tone the disappointment that the pureblood should know to feel in himself but couldn't grudge up the emotion for what he did because now Zero was his for life. “Nothing will make it right Kaien but I can't take it back even if I wanted to ,nothing will change the fact Zero's mine and that if he is with child the omega and motherly instincts as well as me and my own instincts will not allow my mate to kill our offspring”.
Kaien winced at the words on one hand he was delighted he'd be a grandfather on the other hand he was disturbed by the pureblood and his actions but on the side of instincts Kaien could understand the overwhelming need the right and want to claim your mate especially during the first heat add in the fact Kaname didn't know his mate was a omega to his alpha Kaien could understand the heat of rush and lust but he sure as hell didn't like it. Dropping his head into his hands, Kaien sighed deeply. He was also hurt about what his friend had done and he couldn't be sure if the pureblood was remorseful or not because like always Kaname let nothing of his true feelings and emotions leave his mask faulted to expressionless. “He won't forgive you” Kaname nodded even if Cross couldn't see it. I know he won't. I never expected him to. I don't even want him to. I want Zero to move on with me and not hold it over me and even then I selfishly want him to love me and our child that could be. “I truly don't deserve or expect Zero too. I just need him to work and move forward with me and if forgiveness comes with our lifetime together then I would pray to him in worship I should have given years ago”.
Kaien looked up to see the pain on the purebloods face and pursed his lips “just why Kaname, why put him through that all why continue to hurt Zero if you knew he was your mate?” Kaname shuddered to think why he did this all but only had one answer that he felt would appease the chairman or at least not break their friendship to never be what it once was “a promise to keep and too much guilt for my mind to handle with the memories of what once was and what was becoming. I have guilt my friend, if you would permit me to call you such but I am truly a guilty being Kaien. I will never be able to tell you because I do not fully understand it myself but the darkness I am as a being is not something you as even a hunter would understand the weight it carries”. Narrowing his eyes Cross wasn't sure if he could take that excuse which the pureblood seemed to comprehend “it's not an excuse when it's the sickening truth Kaien madness is a true illness of the weak to greed and that is what I am weak to my greed as I am to my selfish desires and to my possession of my obsessions. Yuki never was that for me but a mere promise and I regret it but I can't take it back lord there are a million things I wish I had the power to take back but if I dwell on it than I'm no less what I was before sleep to what I am trying to avoid becoming now and that Kaname is a beast in its own right”.
Leaning back to cross his arms to process the words spoken to him Kaien grunted as he pinched the bridge of his “he will try to kill you along with Yagari and I can not say how Yuki will take this or feel remember Kaname Zero has been the only brother she's known the past 10 years no matter her being a pureblood they still share that sibling bond”. Kaname could feel his heart constrict at the fact he could also gain Yuki's hate. Even if he didn't love her as a woman she was his baby sister and the daughter of his descendants that took him in after he consumed their true son yet they loved him yet Yuki loved him and welcomed him as another brother even if they felt no marital love for the other she was his only living family and he'd hate to lose her. Dipping his head in a bow “then I shall take her hate also”.
Kaien had nothing more to say telling the pureblood he could leave but one thing did come to mind, freezing Kaname in his place at the door “do you intend to spend his full heat with him unaware of what is going on? There is a word for that”. Kaname swallowed hard as his fingers clenched the door handle denting the metal with the tips as they pressed in at his rising anger “oh and what word would that be?” Kaien didn't want to play these games so he said it “rape Kaname the only word used for what you've just done and are planning to do for the rest of my son's heat”. Kaname tilted his head staring sharply into somber gold, his eyes dark with haunting shadows and what the ex-hunter could only describe as the madness the pureblood had warned him about and his words were chilling “there is no such thing as rape where my beast lies only possessing what belongs to me” and he turned and slammed the door shut rattle the frame and Kaien dropped his head into his hands again groaning in agony at what was happening and how he couldn't stop it. “Zero forgive me my son dear god let him forgive me”.

Making his way back up the stairs to his mates room Kaname could smell the scent of heat growing as he opened the door only enough to let himself slip in without releasing any of his mates sweet scent to the hallway where it could possibly reach downstairs and to the front door. Zero slammed the door shut to his bathroom in the purebloods face to get away from Kuran “get out now! It's over, the heat's done, no need to stay Kuran!” Kaname stood outside the door of the bathroom feeling annoyed as he spoke through the wood “Zero I'm unsure if you know the true meaning of mate's or at least the difference between a hunter's mate and a vampire's mate. I would like to shower also and speak more in depth with you”. Zero growled agitated as he glanced at his body in his mirror glaring in panic at the dark bruises on his hips as he smoothed his hands over them to his pelvis wondering if it was wider. When his mate didn't answer Kaname knocked gently again knowing what had transpired was a lot for the ex-human who the pureblood isn't even sure if that is what the hunter is anymore “Zero love please open the door before I break it down”. Zero gave the door an incredulous look how dare he call me love like that's what this is and like he didn't threaten to break my bathroom door after fucking psycho! “No! You can not always just know your mate sometimes you must as you humans would say get around to find out but most vampires would know immediately who their mate is. Zero didn't really want to talk to the pureblood about his parents but answered feeling his body tense “no they were not” Kaname nodded as he tipped Zero's head back to rinse his hair quietly telling him to close his eyes which the omega did. “Why was that?” Zero huffed “because it was an arranged marriage and mating”.
“Ah you see it was an arranged marriage with the want of mating for possible offspring not a bonding that is the difference whether it is your true mate or not in vampire community and hierarchy you have to give the bite which is what leads to death but vampires are bound by fidelity that is why they don't take other mates or why they kill the political one which in my world is acceptable”.
“You just said you weren't going to bite Yuki!” Kaname rolled his eyes at his mates accusing tone “I was not because I do not follow any law I do not want Zero. If I did not want to bite Yuki I would not have. Then more than ever after I had destroyed the council”. Zero snorted as he crossed his arms pretending he didn't feel relief at the fact Kuran was never going to bond with his foster sister. “You are such a cocky bastard”. Seeing his opening Kaname trailed kisses down his mate's neck to his bond mark using his fingers to tip Zero's head to the side for easier access deepening his voice to a husky undertone. “Yes I am omega I could show you” and that was Zero's que to get the fuck out the tub.
Shoving the pureblood away Zero stood ignoring the heated gaze on him and got out grabbing his towel and leaving the bathroom while slamming the door shut behind him. Stepping out of the bathroom naked seeing as there was only one towel in there Kaname moved towards the bed where Zero had left him alone with a clean one so he'd dry off and get out. Sighing as he put his uniform back on in disgust he'd have to shower again once he reached his room the smell of heat was stuck to his clothes with no way to hide it from the other vampires not the Kaname was ashamed of who his mate was not as if it was any of their business who he mated with the pureblood just didn't want to have to deal with their intrusive questions at the moment.
Combing his fingers through his hair as if to fix the tresses, Kaname made his way downstairs to find a muffin and note laid out for him but his mate had left the house. Picking it up Kaname fought a smile down at the simple but threatening note his omega left him.

She just screamed loudly in anger before storming out the moon dorms to find her brother and best friend.
Kaname looked out the door as his sister ran to find his mate and narrowed his eyes, sending a bat after them to watch and see what they would be talking about. Turning back inside to stare down the others, only Takuma and his baby cousin met his gaze and silently followed him to his office. Not saying anything yet Kaname made his way to his room to shower quickly again and change before he'd be scolded as if he were a misbehaving child.
Standing under the spray of pressured hot water the vampire kind thought back to his sister's hurt but furious eyes as they glared at him. Kaname knew his actions he took to make Zero his were quite unthinkable but they all must come to realize Kanane was not human. He had never been human and lived years beyond humans so their laws mostly meant nothing to him so if he wanted his mate yes it was in the worst way possible but Kaname took his mate. It was really only a matter of time whether Zero was still a beta or not. The pureblood would have mated him.
Kanane grit his teeth as he stared at his reflection seeing his beast stare back before he blinked the monster away and moved to dress himself for the discussion to come.

So when she went to forcefully drag her pureblood brother away from her hunter one when she got there banging on the door to see Cross's shame filled eyes and grim frown she knew it was too late.
That's why now she was rushing to the one place her foster brother ever found peace and she wasn't shocked but glad to say she was right to come to white lily's stable to find Zero curled up in hay and the smell of salty tears that her own fell and she sat down next to him and pulled Zero into her arms and she let him cry.

The very first thing he did after he escaped the bathroom was get dressed and covered up in the most clothes he could grabbed bloody rose and rushed down the stairs to grab a muffin and saw two left that he did not even think before leaving the last one for his alpha then froze at his body's natural want to provide for the very bastard pureblood and flushed in anger as he ripped off a piece of paper and wrote something that didn't even make him feel better as his omega instincts wailed at the thought of harming its mate. Trembling Zero tossed it on the table as he ran out the door not even noticing his guardian and Cross's sad eyes as he raced to his safe space, his hips and spine killing him even with his healing. When he made it Zero knew lily could tell something was wrong with him by the way she nickered at him and brushed her snout gently on his head gently nibbling his hair that he collapsed in on himself and the sobs started.
Zero knew the pureblood was a beast in perfect human skin, knew Kuran could be a gentleman and knew he could be a monster. Zero just never thought this kind or he'd be the one who he'd be a true monster with. Curling on his side and pulling his hood up to hide he shouldn't have been surprised to sense Yuki rushing towards him and he welcomed her presence even as a pureblood after they talked it out Zero realized that Yuki would always be his little sister and best friend. So when she pulled him into her arms he buried his face in her shoulders and hid from the world. “Shh it will be okay I'm here and so is Cross and Yagari I know Kaito will be too. You're not alone Zero”. He felt a rush of relief flow through him calming his heart, his voice soft and meek just exhausted “we blood bonded and marked each other…Yuki I can never get away from him”. Yuki gulped as she tried to stay strong for Zero for once and pat his back. “We'll figure it out Zero”.
Zero didn't know if he could believe that but God he wanted too so he would. Sighing in relief and pulling away to curl back up in the hay but pulling his hood down to show his tired lilac eyes and messy silver locks that looked longer if she squinted but brushed it off in favor of laying across from him and talking to distract him just really babbling about nothing anything to make him snort or scoff jokingly at her was enough for Yuki to know her foster brother would be okay. “Do you think you'll ever feel anything other than hate for Kaname?” Zero paused at the hesitant but somewhat hopeful question paused with Yuki's encouraging smile Zero told her what Kuran told him “I don't have a choice”.

Chapter Text
Zero spent the rest of his day with Yuki in Lily's stable letting her talk him into a calm so he didn't do something stupid like try to shoot himself or Kaname before she made him get up and dragged him home but Zero wasn't sure if he could sleep in his room anymore. When they reached the door Zero used his keys to unlock it before pushing it open, stepping one foot inside to be pulled into a strong reassuring hug by a serious Kaien. Zero could smell the tears and knew his guardian would have stopped it if he could so Zero let Cross hug him. When the hug lasted longer than he thought Zero could feel an uncomfortable itch run through him that had him squirming away with a whine that he slapped his hand over his mouth to cover but it was too late as Cross released him to see his red face. Kaien sighed deeply and he felt regret like never before as he took in the panicked eyes of his son “lets sit and talk Zero”.
Zero knew he wasn't being asked so he sat at the table where a hot cup of hot chocolate waited for him and smiled briefly before Cross sat down with a grave look that Zero frowned. Do I really have to talk about this? I'm already ashamed. I don't want to repeat the story and what happened. Just thinking about what happened had him blushing like a young maiden now because of the bastard pureblood Zero couldn't exactly call himself a blushing virgin could he. Kaien looked at his son's red face and small smile that fell into a sharp frown as he cleared his throat. He laced his fingers together. They had much to talk about and Kaien dreaded it.
“Zero as you are aware I would have stopped Kaname if I could and I'm sorry I could do nothing to stop him” Zero raised his hand to stop him “yeah I never thought you wouldn't have Cross but it's too late for that. I need you to help me deal with it okay not tell to me how sorry you are or how you would have stopped it if you could because I know you couldn't you or Yuki and certainly not me I get that but I can't accept what he did yet and I need you to help because no matter what I want or say to him Kaname is my mate now. I am stuck with him forever. I need to get used to that. I need to not, want to kill him. Okay help with that”.
Kaien could try to help with that “I'll do my best”. Zero nodded and glanced away as he stood suddenly hungry “hey can I make pasta the little snacks Kaname brought didn't help I'm fucking starving right now”. Kaien nodded with an arched brow at Zero's use of the purebloods first name and as his son ran to the kitchen the smell of meat started immediately along with cheese. He looked at Yuki who scowled, mouthing “I'll kill him” to her foster parent. Kaien smiled sharply but said nothing as his daughter followed Zero into the kitchen to bother him.

Sitting in his study after his friend and cousin left Kaname with much to think about. Of course they were disappointed in him but they knew more of vampires mating than Yuki would have by growing up a human and definitely more than Zero would have by growing up a hunter. Kaname knew anybody could do something so horrible but he wasn't so sure they expected love out of it in the end no they do not yet I do. It is no wonder Zero loves to call me such words with claims of hate sporadically thrown in.
Leaning back in his chair Kaname fought the instinctual need to want to go to his mates side to make sure Zero was okay. It took everything in him to stay still as he silently listened to what his mate and sister talked about and could have sighed in relief at Yuki's question of if Zero could ever feel more but his mate's answer gave him a burn in his heart. It truly hurts when the one you love doesn't want to love you back. Yet it's the truth I'm not giving him a choice in the matter because Zero is mine and I won't give him up. It's too late for that.

Yuki sat next to Zero watching as he ate pretty much the whole pot of pasta he made not sure if she should be scared or not as he ate like a starving animal in the wild. “You were hungry huh” Zero looked up from his bowl and glared at her “you try being fucked by the pureblood vampire king for five days straight and then talk to me!” Yuki didn't want to hear that as her face turned red and she covered her cheeks to hide the color. Zero rolled his eyes as he finished his bowl up and finally stated his need for food while he ignored his instincts that screamed at the thought of anyone other than him being touched by the pureblood that way. Now to do the dishes or make Yuki do them for me.
Looking at his foster sister Zero smiled, making Yuki wary as she eyed him “Yuki will you clean the kitchen for me please”. She should have known he wanted something but figured she'd just do it after his week “yeah whatever go sleep or something you look like you're about to pass out”. Zero felt like he was about to pass out but his room was a no go. “Can I sleep in your old room?” Yuki peeked out of the kitchen to see his almost desperate look and smiled “yeah go to bed it's 8 anyway”. Nodding he went and ruffled her hair but she just pulled him into a hug that he returned before walking up the stairs to her room and opening the door not even changing out of his clothes to lay on her bed and pass out still he shivered his body used to the heat his alpha provided.
Yuki stood in front of the sink really taking in how big the pot was, her brother used to make his food that he pretty much ate all of with a dark look and sigh she'd kill Kaname if she could and didn't hold sibling love for him also. Washing the pot slowly to make sure she got all of the sauce out then moved to his bowl and whatever else was in the sink before she was done. Yuki scoffed “my brothers are idiots ones a controlling idiot and ones a stubborn idiot” shaking her head as she dried her hands Yuki wondered if Yori was awake she didn't want to tell anyone else what happened she figured the inner court already knew or at least her cousin and Takuma but she didn't really want to confined in them seeing as they were raised as vampires so they might understand it in a way she wouldn't and Yuki didn't really want to hear them justify her brother's actions but she did want to rant to her other best friend and the girl she wanted to be her mate.
Making her way to the door she stopped by Cross's office about to knock on the door “come in Yuki” it used to creep her out when she was human how he did that but now she understood it better as she pushed the door opened to see her foster father drinking something she was sure Cross didn't do often but she could understand wanting too. Yuki knew if she was old enough she'd be throwing back shots like no tomorrow. When she sat down and he offered her a sip from his glass she took it and gagged “that's disgusting!” Kaien nodded with a small smile “good then you won't turn to it when times are hard or get bad like this”.
Yuki guessed with a shrug “yet you are. It's not your fault you know me or Zero don't blame you if it's anyone's fault it's mine I let him take Zero at crossover but I thought Kaname would come right back not do what he did to him”. Kaien shook his head as he dragged his fingers through his hair “how about It's no one's fault” she arched her eyebrow not sure what he meant “not even Kaname's?”. Again he shook his head and took the last sip before setting the glass down “no he must take some responsibility for this but I doubt you know it but Kaname says Zero is his mate. Yuki vampires only have one mate, a true mate; it was probably inevitable with how they were going”. Yuki's lips curled in like she tasted something sour. “So why was he with…why did he pursue me then?” Kaien shrugged himself “that you would have to speak with your brother about”.
Yuki nodded and stood up getting ready to leave when he stopped her “only tell Sayori no one else” Yuki glanced back “of course” and she left closing the door softly behind her so she didn't disturb him and thought of checking on Zero but decided to let him sleep without feeling a vampire presence watching him and freak him out more.
Opening the front door she didn't even blink at seeing the bat in the tree feeling bold and gave it the middle finger before running off to the girl's, sun dorms and her old room with Yori. When she reached the right window Yuki stepped back and leeped onto the thin ledge and balanced knowing her friend kept the window unlocked for her as she lifted it open and jumped silently onto the floor to see her friend asleep and sighed but kicked off her shoes and removed her uniform jacket to lay on her old bed falling asleep in the familiar scent of her mate. I hate to admit it but the beast in me understands Kaname all too well.
Kaname decided to ignore the fact his sister advertently gave him her finger through his bat so he could watch his mate through his sister's old bedroom window trying to not notice how Zero was squirming in restlessness at his absence or the fact he wasn't in the room they mated in the omega's involuntary nest. Even if the hunter hadn't known he made it such Kaname could remember moments when Zero would fall back under the full effects of his heat and start to nest forcing his clothes into the mess of blankets but Kaname thought it was cute his mate had no idea how to make a proper nest and only gave encouragement to his mates confusion.
Zero would not find peace or solace outside of his room to run from what they did. If anything it would upset him more and Kaname not being there would make it worse but the pureblood understood his mate didn't want him near him. The somewhat human part of his brain did at least but the vampire all beast didn't understand why he wasn't with his mate comforting Zero who turned over in another attempt to find comfort on his sister's bed. Kaname was trying hard not to leave his own room to comfort his mate who he could see shivering but Kaname also noticed how covered up his hunter was and figured that was a safety measure he was instinctively acting on. What the pureblood didn't know is if it was safety from what he did or the fact he wasn't with his alpha.
Kaname liked to think the latter but he wouldn't give himself that. It is too perfect and convenient for Zero to actually need him and miss him so soon. What Kaname knew is Zero was not aware of the fact only feelings could establish the blood bond that's how he knew Zero didn't truly hate him even now he could feel the turbulent emotions running through his mate and his dreams but he didn't sense any fear or lust just confusion from his omega. The pureblood in a way did feel bad he caused this to his young mate but on another level he also couldn't help the pride that ran through his system at the fact Zero was now his. So he sat in the privacy of his room not lost on the fact he was not allowing Zero the same courtesy of his own mumbling as he watched “sweet torture is what you're offering us Zero”.

“Well last night fucking sucked” Zero did not like the pun he just accidentally used on himself as he headed into his room he needed clean clothes and a shower. “I really don't want to go in” but he knew he had too. For one, today was a school day and he was behind five days of school work. He guessed he could ask Yori for the notes if nothing else. Breathing in deeply to push out slowly Zero almost wanted to hold his breath as he opened his room door to be smacked in the face with the scent of his heat and Kaname's musky but sinful scent that Zero could feel his mouth water but he swallowed hard trying to remind himself why the bastards scent was even in his room.
Huffing as he stomped in moving to his closet to grab some clothes half of them were gone making him confused with the noise that left his mouth as he turned to look for them only to see all his weekend clothes and even some uniform shirts on his bed in the messiest fucking nest Zero has ever seen in his life not that he had seen many his mom was a beta and his dad was an alpha while his twin was also a beta but Zero like always had to be the black sheep of the herd and be the only omega in the family along with being the only one the curse passed down too. At least that's what he chose to call it. Wanting to ignore everything he grabbed what he could which was his last clean white button up and no jacket but a pair of pants that looked almost too small puffing out air as he tried to keep his anger at bay “fucking can't believe this dumb shit. Fucking batard of a pureblood doing this to me” even with his gumbling and grit teeth Zero couldn't really blame Kaname could he. His pills had stopped working awhile ago to repress or really suppress his omega and those instincts. It was never meant to last forever but locking that side away and also locked away his curse so he was pissed right now and also Zero didn't want to go to school and find out what excuse Cross could have possibly used to excuse his absence without it looking like favoritism to the other students and teachers.
Not that he gave a fuck but Zero felt he'd bite the head off of the first person who even breathed at him wrong much less looked so as he stood in his shower trying and failing to ignore the memories of what happened on his sink counter he washed away what happened scrubbing himself pink but it did nothing but irritate his omega which irritated the fuck out of him so he just shut the water off and got out to dry off.
Going near the sink was gross but so was not brushing his teeth so he did it and made sure not to touch anything except his mirror cabinet door to get his toothbrush out and the toothpaste he was glad he left in there too. Looking in the mirror at the broken cracked glass Zero wondered if this is what his soul looked like before he ducked down to spit his toothpaste out to escape his image of something that can't be fixed.
Getting dressed felt suffocating when the longer he stayed in his room the more he wanted to do nothing but fall into the sucky nest and sleep knowing it would be perfect because it smelled like both of them. Clenching his jaw Zero grabbed his bag and rushed out of his room just noticing everything smell just like heat and threw the bag on the couch and declined himself to staying home as he went to the kitchen to eat something “don't tell me I'm an emotional eater now” rolling his eyes Zero made breakfast in the mood for bacon and French toast. He'd usually make eggs but the thought of eating those yellow things made him sick.
He made enough for Cross and Yuki in case she'd stop by but Zero figured she would think he'd go to class today but that shit wasn't happening until he washed all of his clothes and his bookbag and his homework…he was sure the books and papers smelled too. Flipping the bread the slight smell of the eggs in the mix cooking made him green but he really wanted the french toast. He'd ask Cross but that man couldn't cook even if it would save his life his guardian would just have to die. Zero paused “that was a little cynical of me” yet he almost wanted to laugh at his thoughts which was horrible so he shook off the weird want and finished his food.
Looking down at all the food Zero tilted his head. I really went overboard with all this food. I used a whole loaf of bread and half the pack of bacon. Shrugging he got what he wanted then looked again is half the stack gone. “Nah” and went to the table to eat “syrup I want syrup and butter and blueberries” setting his plate down to go to the cabinets he food the syrup then the fridge and saw the butter but no blueberries “oh were out right now” his face turned dark as he glared at the empty spot the fruit usually is when he goes grocery shopping but because of a little fucker he hadn't gotten any! Slamming the door shut he turned to see his foster parent staring at him in what Zero would call pain making him scowl “what!” Kaien said nothing, just grabbed his own food making sure not to get a lot as his son narrowed dark eyes at him.
Scoffing he sat at the table and pouted I wanted the blueberries! Kaien raised his eyebrow at the look on Zero's face as he poured almost the whole bottle of syrup on his stack and a half a stick of butter slices and began eating like a starving animal making him shuffle away in fear of his food being stolen. “Zero-rin can I have some syrup?” Kaien felt like he was staring at death as his son stared into his soul his words a cold whisper “no” and he nodded laughing weirdly at what was happening to his son. “I really should get back to work. So I'll talk to you later. Are you not going to school today?”. Zero looked up at the standing adult and grunted as he went back to eating, which Kaien took as a no. Zero was not going to school today.
“Well okay let me know if you need anything”. Zero looked at him again with bright eyes, nothing like the death he saw before “go get me some blueberries now” then as an after thought Zero added a please. “Okay right now?” Zero narrowed his eyes as he held his butter knife up at him in a silent threat of stabbing which Kaien knew his son was quite capable of doing so with a butter knife “now Cross!” Giving him a thumbs up he ran out of the house to go to the market when he noticed the bat and childishly gave it the middle finger before walking to the gate to get his son some blueberries only to realize as he went to the fruit section of the grocery store was that “they're out of season”.

Kaname again ignored the finger given to him by a grown man no less but felt he deserved that one along with Yuki's who still had not returned from he was assuming the female hunter she liked. His mate also did not leave the house for school worrying him “I wonder will Zero be at crossover this evening". Kaname knew his mate was probably going to skip crossover but the pureblood gave himself until the weekend before he caved to his instincts and own wants to go to his mate he had four days to last and give Zero space before that would no longer be an option for the hunter. Glancing out the window he called the bat back and dispelled it not needing it for now seeing as Zero was apparently not going to leave the house anytime soon.
Moving to his desk chair behind his desk Kaname's thoughts took a turn as he looked at the large surface. He imagined taking his mate on his desk on top of his paperwork and staining the wood with slick smirking silently to himself not hearing the knock on the door as Takuma popped his head in to see his friend in his own perverted world. He would know he got that look when he thought of Senri and what he could do to him also. Takuma pushed the door open and walked in closing it behind him loud enough for the pureblood to figure out he wasn't alone making Kaname blank his face as he looked at the blonde with a raised eyebrow in silent question to why he had entered without his say so. Takuma lifted one shoulder as if nothing as he sat on the seater couch in the office and they had a stare off “yes Takuma” the blonde took a deep breath in question why did Senri make me talk to him again. We already discussed this. “Kaname you know you are my best friend other than my mate correct” Kaname nodded as he laced his fingers together listening “so if my mate is upset then I'm pissed at who upset him you can also understand that right”. The pureblood could so he again nodded “and I assume I have upset Senri in some way or another”. Takuma sighed “yes in a way Kaname not many people would know this but Senri and Zero talk to one another I've seen them they seem to have an understanding of being manipulated into doing things they don't want”.
Kaname did not expect that “and my forcing of the mating bond does not sit right with him I'm sure it doesn't with you also. I am not exempt from what I did Takuma and I had no reason to do so other than I'm selfish and weak to my greed so I truly apologize for the rift it might cause you and your mate or even him and Zero. I also do not wish to lose Senri as a friend and family member. I also selfishly only thought of losing Yuki but that is not true she is not my only family now and I did not mean to wrong him”. Takuma bit his lip before he spoke again “I don't think you'll lose either or me. I don't even think you'll lose Zero in the end but have you apologized to your mate and not the people outwardly affected instead of the one who went through it”.
Kaname had not done that and the look on his face said so, making Takuma slap his forehead. How is he labeled a genius but such an idiot with emotions? “Did you really not apologize, Kaname? What did you say to justify what you did?” Takuma watched the pureblood bite his own lip in what the noble would call nerves and agitation at the fact of why he didn't think to apologize to his own mate. “I simply stated that this was inevitable even if Zero had remained a beta”.
Takuma didn't believe that and waved his hand as if to say go on which Kaname did dropping his head onto his hands with an agonizing sigh “I also stated that his freedom was never an option from me” Takuma spoke again “and”. Kaname groaned as he almost wanted to slap himself at his own stupidity “I said I was giving him no choice but to fall in love with me by the end of this and that he is stuck with me for life with our blood bond and mating bond”.
Takuma had never met such an emotionally constipated person in his life. “Really is that all” Kaname tossed his words around in his head thinking “oh and that I was horribly monsterly in love with him and he was my mate not in that exact order of words but pretty accurate”. “..you're an idiot..” The pureblood figured that out in the beginning of the conversation with his friend. “Yes I am now fully aware of that now thank you Takuma”. Thank him for what. “No really Kaname, you are an idiot, an emotionally unstable constipated idiot”.
Kaname thought that was too far as he looked up “I am not an emotionally constipated idiot Takuma”. The blonde gaped at him and pointed “but you're not denying that you're an emotionally unstable idiot” Kaname pursed his lips and that was all the answer he needed as he sat back in his seat to think in quiet. Kaname glanced around his room before back to his friend “Takuma how would you apologize to your mate you as humans call it raped him and forced him to be bonded to you the rest of his life?” Takuma furrowed his eyebrows “do you not understand how wrong that sounds” at the purebloods blank look Takuma figured he either didn't or just didn't care “you could for one stop being an unstable idiot”.
Kaname nodded seriously making Takuma question if he understood or not “do you understand what I am saying to you”. The pureblood in fact did not and said as much “I am unsure if I can accomplish that feat Takuma”. Why can't he! “Why not?!” Kaname glanced at him then out the window “hmm perhaps because I am always unstable I am just questionable good at hiding it when it suits my needs”. Takuma felt his eye twitch “learn than” the pureblood pursed his lips then glared as it was almost time for crossover “if it is so easy and simple for you to understand I take it you do not mind taking time out of your day to teach me such emotional efficiency as you have today. You are after all my most trusted advisor Takuma”. The blonde knew he wasn't really being asked so he said nothing but nodded as he stood along with the pureblood to make their way downstairs for crossover.
Kaname walked down first to see his sister at the bottom of the stairs tapping her foot but no longer glaring with a bored but tense looking Senri by her that he stopped “I apologize to you both for what I have done to Zero”. Senri raised his eyebrow and nodded silently taking the apology while Yuki moved forward and punched his arm making him wince “yeah whatever but if you don't fix this I saw the note I know Zero can't but I sure as hell can do both”. Kaname shuddered his sister would do that to him for Zero wouldn't she “yes Yuki I will make sure to rectify my mistake of how I bonded Zero” then he grabbed Takuma's arm dragging him into the conversation making the blonde blanch “Takuma has pointed out my wrong doings and has agreed to teach me about emotional stability”. Yuki lifted her hand up to cover her laugh but it broke out as well as Senri's chuckle making Kaname narrow his eyes. They are lucky they are family.

Zero sat at the table wondering if he should go to help with the crossover when his front door burst open showing him Kaito and Yagari that he cursed “..shit..” When they froze as they stared at him probably still smelling Kaname and sensing the new presence and seeing the bond mark on his neck Zero swore “fucking double shit”.

So I have a new character in this chapter he's my own so don't be surprised also I'm hoping the plot isn't moving too fast but it's not really a slow burn because I don't plan on doing a really long story. As the two raging older hunters stormed at him Zero's new instincts as not only an omega but what the pureblood did to him had him reacting by calling bloody rose from his body into his hand and clicking off the safety as he pointed her at them, freezing them. Raising one hand but the other kept the gun on them Zero spoke sternly but his voice shook the two alpha's even if friends one as far as a parental figure where alphas and he was a newly mated omega without his own and vulnerable “I need you two to stay back from me". Kaito growled and moved forward to his childhood friend wanting to know what the hell was wrong with him when Zero fired a shot by his foot stopping him “stay the fuck away from me!” Kaien rushed out at hearing the yell and gun shoot figuring Kaname had come but to see his son shaking as he stood with his anti-vampire weapon pointed at Yagari and Kaito surprised him until they all smelt distressed omega making both hunter's jaw drop along with Yagari's curse “what the hell Zero! You're an omega!?”
Zero felt his eye twitch as his body shook trying to will it to stop as he breathed deeply. Zero shook his head wanting to curb his instinct to want to call out to his alpha to protect him. Zero didn't need anyone to protect him, much less the bastard he should be protected from! “Yeah! So fucking what!” Kaien felt like this was escalating too quickly as he stepped in between the three of them. Smiling with a dark look Kaien placed his hand on the barrel of the gun and lowered her slowly to show Zero he wasn't against his safety as he spoke to his friend directly leaving Kaito to stare “Toga we need to talk”. Zero bit his lip and pulled bloody rose back into himself “no you don't”.
Kaien sighed deeply, cursing the vampire king in his head as he turned to his son's desperate look “Zero they need to find out if not from you then from me”. Zero sneered deeply snapping at him “no they fucking don't! It's my business if I don't want you to fucking tell them you won't Cross!” Kaien needed him to calm down before he accidentally called Kaname to him in his distress. So he raised his hands slowly in a move to placate “okay but I need you to calm down or he'll come see what's wrong”. Was it a horrible move to make, Kaien knew it was but he saw Zero deflate and his eyes blow wide in fear before the omega stormed upstairs straight to his room needing the comfort enough to not care what took place in it. Yagari finally had enough as he roughly yanked a seat out from under the kitchen table and sat down removing his hat to glare into his friends eyes taking note of how shame filled they were the uneasy slump of his shoulders and the creases in his brows along with his unkempt hair Yagari figured some shit had went down in the one week he had gone off with Kaito for a mission if you will. “Well Kaien what happened to the brat”.
Kaien took his own seat gesturing for Kaito to sit down too before he spoke. He told them what happened. It kinda poured out of him like water. It wasn't a relief. It felt like more shame piled on top of the other at the silence that filled the space before Kaito got up and left the house slamming the door shut on them loudly. Kaien figured he was off to the moon dorms or to get drunk. Yagari grit his teeth as he ran his fingers through his hair noticing how they were shaking before gruffly speaking “it's not your fault” Kaien was also sick of hearing that as he chuckled darkly in pain “I wish people would stop telling me that. I am his father. I left Zero here because I chose to trust Kaname. I couldn't stop it after it happened so yes Toga it is my fault. I've never thought I failed Zero this much until now”. The hunter sighed before knocking his fist into his friend's head making Kaien whine as he looked up at him “why?” Yagari grunted as he pulled a cigar out “can't change it make it better dumbass. It's too late for regrets Kaien”. The ex-hunter flinched at his words but he understood the meaning behind them and nodded when the scent of blood reached him.
Both cursed, figuring it was Zero and ran to his room to find it locked. Yagari banged on it roughly “oh Zero open the damn door!” Inside the room Zero stared back at his reflection through the pieces of glass still in the mirror after he had punched it to stop his mind from remembering what happened in his room and how good it had felt. Zero stared down apathetically at his bleeding hand and raised it to punch the mirror again feeling more then realizing his sensei was holding him in his chest. The weird feeling of not only having Toga hug him as he cried but the fact that his omega was screaming at him for having another alpha hold him made his head pound. Hearing as his student whined and tried to pull away had Yagari tightening his hold and growling soothingly as a parent would until he felt the teen stop struggling in his arms.
Zero breathed heavily the scent of cigars and smoke giving him a feeling of safety as he stopped moving to get away “I'm tarnished”. Yagari sighed as he lightly rocked his body “no you're not brat” Zero grit his teeth not wanting to cry again especially in front of his sensei “whatever” at the snarl that left his students mouth Yagari tightened his grip not meant to harm or even restrain but to show support “your are not tarnished especially in our eyes fuck the rest of them there not family Zero”.
Zero could understand that part logically but right now he didn't want to be logical. He wanted to kill the bastard pureblood but figured from his earlier response of making the threatening note the even notion of hurting the pureblood pained him. So he let himself be comforted while Kaien stood from the doorway grinning; this is why I am in love with you Yagari.

Kaito logically knew he wouldn't be able to storm the moon dorms and kill a pureblood much less the pureblood vampire king but he'd damn sure try. Sending one threatening look at the guards who let him in, Kaito banged on the door waiting impatiently to be let in before he damaged school property and broke it down. “Oh! Kaname Kuran! Come face your death like a man, blood sucker!”
Kaname sighed he had felt the raging aura of a hunter coming towards the dorm and figured it was meant for him he just didn't care more focused on his mates turbulent emotions and then the pain in his right fist Kaname figured Zero was forced to tell his teacher and friend or Kaien had and Zero had a bad reaction to them knowing. Now how to deal with the unwanted hunter that will kindly ‘advise’ me to stay away from my mate without wanting to kill him and gain Zero's further ire.
Standing up from his desk Kaname made his way to the door, opening it to see Ruka outside with a worried look confusing him. Ah yes if Aido's ramblings are correct Ruka has turned her affections from me towards the uncouth teacher and hunter Kaito Takayami. How amusing. “Yes Ruka” she blushed in nerves though no longer harboring romantic feelings the pureblood was still her friend and figure she looks up to “ah Kaname-sama the hunter Kaito is requesting your audience with him at the most pressing time of as he said yesterday”. Kaname hummed as he held his chin “and your thoughts if I should entertain him”. Ruka frowned and twisted her fingers “I believe you owe it to him as a man and Zero's alpha to be confronted by his childhood friend if not at least hear him and his anger out”.
Kaname pursed his lips as he brushed his hair out his face “yes I believe you're right Ruka I shall fetch him myself as you say as a man”. Ruka's eyebrow twitched at his words but Kaname ignored it in favor of moving past her to the door of the main hall. Opening it Kaname dodged the fist coming at his face instead grabbing it and yanking the hunter in the moon dorms using his speed to get them to his office where he threw Kaito on the floor in front of his fireplace making Kaito dizzy. “What the fuck you crazy raping dickhead!”
Kaname grunted as he stood in front of him glaring with burning eyes pitching black stunning Kaito “I'll tell you what I told Cross but there is no such thing as rape to me” the purebloods voice was a dead calm that Kaito scowled at hearing but remained on the floor not wanting to push the pureblood into a more violent reaction “well what the fuck is it then!” Kaname shrugged as he looked back pensively at the hunter but still answered him “it's a beast taking what belongs to it. Plain and simple in a way your little hunter human brain will comprehend”.
Kaito growled as he stood moving towards the door “do tell Zero I hope to see him soon Takayami-san”. Kaito scoffed and gave him the middle finger “burn in hell bat”. Stepping out of the door to come face to face with a female noble Kaito felt his face soften as she cautiously approached him “thank you for getting him for me Ruka”. She nodded and he felt a slight grin at her blush before moving to leave casually tapping her hip as he headed down the stairs “let's catch up sometime Takayami-san”. Kaito chuckled as he called back “I told you to call me Kaito Ruka but sure you know where to find me missy”.
Ruka sighed happily as she turned to leave only to squeak as she came face to face with her leader “you two are quite close yes” Ruka eyed him wearily but nodded “would you keep tabs on him for me” Ruka flinched but shook her head “I apologize Kaname-sama but as another vampire wanting a true mate I must ask you not to ask me of that and as your friend I beg it of you”. The pureblood hummed but nodded smiling calmly at her “very well Ruka I of all know I can not ask you to betray him when I have betrayed my own. Have a good evening”. Ruka nodded and moved away quickly, not a run but a fast walk to her room.
Kaname closed his door and pinched his eyes shut feeling as if he may have made the situation worse. I've still yet to apologize to Zero. The weekend can not come fast enough.

When Kaito got back to the chairman's house he did not think he'd find Zero binge eating ice-cream with a whole hell of blueberries in it. Grimacing, he glanced at his teacher in question but Yagari shook his head to not ask. So Kaito didn't say anything and just plopped down next to his friend going to grab a blueberry when he felt a gun at his head that he took his hand back from the temperamental omega who didn't even turn from the TV just took another large spoon full ignoring him.
Kaito would have sat there in slight fear of a gun being pointed at his head when Zero said “so what happened?” Kaito gulped he knew that tone “nothing really just a man to man talk” Zero hummed nodding his head before trying to whack his friend with his gun making Kaito jump away from him “what the fuck man!”
“Shut up stupid! So I'm not a man because I'm a fucking omega or because I was fucking raped!” Kaito could feel the air leave his lungs at the despair in his childhood friends eyes “no Zero not because of either it's just your like my little brother okay! Stop making me have to be sentimental and shit!” Zero pursed his lips but sat back down calling bloody rose back and changed the channel “get me more blueberries stupid” Kaito figured that was the only apology and acceptance of one he'd get so he went to the fridge and grabbed more only to glance at the chairman in question mumbling to himself “blueberries aren't even in fucking season. Where the fuck did he get these?”
While Zero waited for his blueberries he felt the bond pulse knowing the pureblood was irritated probably from Kaito and whatever Kaname had felt from him earlier when he broke down. You can't really blame me though my life is falling apart even worse than five months ago. I need to take a nap, naps help everything but I want lily. Not sure where the thought came from Zero shrugged as he stood and moved to the front door only stopping at his sensei's gruff voice calling out to him “where are you going brat?” Zero glanced back at him “to see lily and nap” Yagari wasn't sure what was going on with him other than the obvious “it's almost 9:30 why do you want to go to see the horse now Zero”.
Zero narrowed his eyes, feeling them glow again as he grit his teeth and forced his words out “I want to see my horse”. Kaien took a step towards his son as an aura rose from Zero suffocating in its pressure but still inexperienced making it easier to calm him “okay! You can go see white Lily but only for one hour, come right back”. Zero grunted as he calmed down and opened the front door slamming it shut behind him. “Now what the fuck was that!?” Kaien sighed at the younger hunter's words that I don't know.

Zero stormed into the stable to the stall holding white lily and made his way to her gently petting the neighing horse, as she greeted him back “hey girl”. Moving to grab her brush Zero hummed softly as he ran it through his horse's hair feeling his enter being calm as she huffed at him and nuzzled between his neck and shoulder “yes I'm doing better lily thank you for asking”. So much for my nap but this is much better than sleep. If Zero was honest he spent the whole time grooming Lily and talking to her about what happened and how he felt knowing she would listen and wouldn't be able to say anything even if Zero felt like he would appreciate white Lily's advice more than a human right now. Leaning his forehead on hers, Zero felt his eyes flutter close for his nap when a rustling came forth outside of the stable making him tense then relax as he felt Lily do the same.
Cursing in his head at the fact he hadn't noticed the five level E’s outside Zero wondered how they got past the barrier but shoved the idea as they got closer to him. Kissing her snout as she huffed in annoyance Zero felt the same he was bonding with his horse dammit! Honing his senses to where they were, Zero was glad that blood rose was absorbed into his body. Not wanting to use the rose vines in the horse stable, Zero simply called the physical form of the gun out. Moving quickly to place it right at the head of the woman behind him Zero's eyes burned as they turned it honestly fucking hurt stupid fucking curse! Then he fired seeing her ashes but he didn't have time to waste as he shoved his foot into the stomach of one that came right behind the first, this one still a woman but older than the first making his heart hurt. She was a grandmother and she probably didn't have much time left anyway.
Even still he fired into her chest knowing that shot would alert the others not that he needed help as he whipped the male in the face before placing his gun in the level E's mouth and pulling the trigger. That took too long as he ducked the one that lunged at him making Lily rear back and stomp on him as he got too close making it easier for Zero to shoot into his chest from the back okay one left where is it! His eyes flitted around trying to figure out where it could be hiding when he felt a tingle above! Glancing up at the last vampire dropped off the roof on to him making Lily go crazy in her stable as Zero placed his gun barrel between the things teeth as it tried to bite him making Zero grunt in strain.
“Fucking great!” Zero wondered if he kneed his balls if it would work not like he had anything to lose as he sharply brought his knee up to the family jewels making the vampire groan slightly but that was all he needed to roll them over and place the gun at his head going to fire when it spoke raspy in tone “goddess”. “What?” When it started to struggle again he quickly pulled the trigger turning him to dust that Zero finally felt his heart slow down as the adrenaline faded making him more tired than he was before.
Still he turned and stumbled up wanting to check on Lily moving towards her but she was fine worried about him but other than that nothing was wrong and Zero figured his hour was up. How come no one came? I'm sure the noise from the gun should have alerted them. What's wrong? Shaking his head with a puff as he left the stable Zero figured out why they hadn't come as he came face to face with a level A vampire a pureblood staring him down more like glaring in worry if he cared but he didn't he wasn't in the mood for this. “What the fuck do you want” the stranger flinched as he dropped to one knee making Zero purse his lips as he called bloody rose back out not letting his guard down. When the man spoke Zero almost stepped back his eyebrow twitching “primordial goddess. I have come at your call”.
“The fuck are you talking about! Did you send those level E’s to kill me!?” The man sighed as he stood making Zero narrow his eyes as he stepped into the light of the moon and cursed as the familiar man came to focus “Akihiko what the fuck are you doing here?” Moving closer until Zero stepped back and clicked the safety off Akihiko stopped and rubbed the back of his head “um you've awoken have you not goddess” Zero sneered as he growled “so what! This is a fucking curse nothing more nothing less go back home!” Akihiko rubbed his eyes. Dealing with young Zero was hard but apparently older Zero was just straight up difficult. The grey haired man rolled his equally grey eyes and crossed tan arms as he tapped his foot “you knew this would happen my wife told you the pills would not last forever Zero”. Zero scoffed the notion away “how is Arisa anyway”. The man leaned against a tree “she is fine pregnant right now the only reason she's not here with me”.
Zero smiled a little “so the level E's then. What were they for? Did you turn them” Akihiko grunted as he knocked his head back “you know your godmother always likes to keep you on your toes and no, they're left overs from the Rido battle. Never mind that though I see that is not the only thing that has happened recently that is unexpected”.
Zero leaned against the stables and scoffed again “you mean your wife yeah she's a real joker that one”. Akihiko shook his head “don't not answer Zero I sense something off tell me now”. Zero rolled his eyes. He did have respect for his godfather though. Pressing his fingers down on the mark he spoke softly “I am mated now”. Akihiko grinned, that dropped at the defeated look on his godson's face “you do not look happy to be”. Zero smiled wateryly, "well when you don't really love the guy who mates you, you tend not to be happy”.
Akihiko growled “you were forced then” at the snapped words Zero flinched back making the older male calm down “my apologies goddess” Zero waved him off as he gazed up at the moon still speaking softly “he's the vampire king you know”.
The older man groaned in pain “Kaname Kuran” Zero looked down at his godfather in question with furrowed eyebrows “you know Kaname?” Akihiko shrugged “I know of a Kaname that was once the vampire king. Now if it is the Kaname Kuran you know now I have yet to be sure of”. Zero raised his brow gracefully as he hummed “there was another Kaname because the one I know is 20 and you're old as hell godfather”. Akihiko nodded firmly as he recrossed his arms “yes that Kaname as you said would also be old as hell around 10,000 if I'm correct”.
Zero felt his jaw drop as a shiver ran down his spine “well there's no way my Kaname my new mate is 10,000. Right?” Akihiko again shrugged “I do not know Zero the Kaname I once knew was an ancestor. Last I heard he went to sleep”.
“...” Zero didn't know how to feel or what to think “would you be able to tell if you saw him or spoke to him”. Akihiko smiled wryly “I believe he'd remember me well Zero I was after all a general later on in his reign” Zero snorted feeling a calm come from having family near “god you're old as hell”.
“I can not deny the truth which you have yet to give to me about your mating godson” Zero pursed his lips looking back up at the moon. “My heat decided to come out of nowhere and apparently I'm his mate but he sure has a shitty way of showing it. The last 5 years have been fucking shit rollar coaster of emotions and manipulation so he'd win. Well he won again he won me I guess if you want to look at rape like that” he ended with a shrug of his own no longer crying at least right now. It was more embarrassing than anything. He hated to admit it, it felt right to have the mark. The mating was good in a way that pissed him off that the older pureblood was so good at it.
It made Zero think of how many people Kaname had slept with and it made his lips curl up in disgust that his godfather caught “does he know you are a pureblood?” Zero cringed and brought his eyes down before looking back up “you mean my family curse or..what do you mean pureblood”.
Akihiko rolled his eyes as he stood straight “it is not a curse that you were born an omega with the primordial powers of an ancestor in you. Nor are you a reincarnation of one; you are simply Kiryuu Zero. You are a hunter, a pureblood , an omega and a goddess you can not run from this anymore. You are lucky we did not come and get you at your parents death and brothers betrayal”.
Zero ground his teeth together before he breathed “I know okay! I fucking knew it wouldn't last forever that they'd think I was a beta forever! I sure as hell didn't think my enemy would fucking force me to be bonded to him okay! And stop calling me fucking goddess I'm a man dammit!”. Akihiko simply raised his eyebrow “you can get pregnant can you not”.
Zero growled at him making Akihiko growl back “I am still your godfather Zero do not push”. Zero rolled his eyes but calmed down “now that you are calm I am sure you do not wish to hear this but in my day and age such a word as rape had no meaning nor did force if you were dominant and strong enough to claim your true mate or choosen mate than you did so. It was a beast thing especially among purebloods”
Zero glanced around as the moon rose higher to show how late it was getting “are you saying that Kaname is this Kaname”. Akihiko frowned if he is then there is truly nothing I can do but answered anyway “I am saying if he is then the reason he did what he did and feels no remorse is because he was created on that it was his right to claim who he wanted no matter what. If you are his true mate then there is no out Zero you are his for life godson”. Zero huffed as he pushed off the stables to leave “Figures. When will you be back with my godmother?”
“Week’s time please try not to be so hateful of your mate by then”. Zero moved to the barrier surrounding them to leave “you're asking a lot of 5 years of hate and loathing to be gone in a week godfather” Akihiko chuckled “I do not want it gone I believe Kaname should do some chasing and beg for your forgiveness but I do not want you to punish him for what is ingrained in his instincts it is the way of a king and a true beast to take his desires”.
“He once desired another”. Zero couldn't help but spit out the words bitterly “and do you hate the one he desired and that once desired him in return?’ Zero looked back and shook his head “Yuki is my sister though”. Akihiko smiled softly at his godson “and Kaname is your mate who made a wrong choice and attempted to rectify it in the worst way. Do not punish the lost and foolish Zero for wanting to find happiness”. Zero scrunched up his nose at his godfather's words “he'll have to work hard then. I won't just love and accept this or him Akihiko”. The man could understand that “I don't expect you too I just expect you not to forever hold this over him. It will only lead to more pain. Zero you have had enough in your life do not create more because of how you came to be his. At the end of the day and of time Kaname is your mate, don't you think that eternity will be better and more beautiful if there was love instead of hate to grow”. Zero logically knew that as he moved to leave “seems like you want me to accept it that way”.
“Acceptance is just another word for moving forward Zero while holding on is hatred you refuse to let go of even though it burns. Which do you want to grow with your mate and future”. His godson just snorted and waved bye before disappearing, calling a falcon Akihiko gave it an order “follow him home”.

When Zero opened the door he was pulled into a hug by Kaien again “what!? What's wrong with you now?!” Kaien just held him tighter, making Zero uncomfortably but he breathed in his guardian's scent mint and jasmine, calming down “it's been three hours Zero! I said one!” Zero guessed that did warrant such a reaction “sorry I told you I was going to nap with lily” Kaien pulled back and wiped a tear away as he checked his son's body making sure nothing was wrong when he spotted the blood on his shirt sleeve. Pointing at the spot with a glare and stern frown Zero huffed at being caught “who's blood Zero”.
Biting his lip he glanced away only to meet Yagari and Kaito's eyes also glaring at him “just some level E's you know the norm”. Kaito scoffed not believing him “and we didn't hear a single gun shot, why?”. Zero cursed his godfather for the barrier “because my godfather put up a barrier so we could talk that's why”. Yagari grunted as he sat at the table pulling out another cigar “and who is this godfather of yours Zero”. Zero tsked and looked away “no one you know so drop it! I wasn't hurt, we just talked okay”. Moving past them all Zero went up the stairs to his room and closed the door seeing they took the lock off and sighed but went to his horrible nest that still smelled like Kaname Zero felt his omega soothe when did I start calling you Kaname instead of Kuran? Zero turned over, that was something to think about but on another day he was tired and sore and had a headache as his stomach turned “one week huh”.

Kaname shifted in his bed with his back against the headboard pleasuring himself as he stroked his cock snarling as he thought of his mate and the noises Zero would make until he came all over his hand and stared before wiping it on the towel he had next to him and stood wanting a drink. Walking around his room naked Kaname grabbed his whiskey and poured a glass looking out the window towards where his mate was in white lily's stall and followed their bond until he was sure Zero was safe at home. Taking a smooth hard swallow Kaname felt horrid for the space he could not grant Zero “damn the weekend” I can not wait that long especially with old acquaintances returning. With dead secrets coming to life.

Zero sighed as he snuggled deeper into the mess of sheets that smelled like his alpha blinking slowly as he tried to wake up for his alarm grumbling a curse. “Damn I have school”. Yawning loudly as he sat up to look around knowing he really needed to clean up his room. Moving to get out of his nest Zero stood as he yawned again moving to his room door I'm fucking starving I want blueberry pancakes and bacon. Zero wondered where his new obsession with blueberries came from. He liked them but he was kinda going overboard the last few days with his consumption of them.
Making his way down the stairs slowly, still tired. I'm too tired. I slept pretty much all day yesterday and I don't even want to think about having to stay awake in class. Not like I do anyway. Heading straight for the kitchen he ignored the figure on the couch not feeling anything hostile from it as he rummaged through the fridge for what he needed for his breakfast. He had everything but where the fuck are my blueberries. Did I eat them all? Pulling out of the fridge to check the drawer at the bottom, Zero grinned at the large containers filled with them and pulled one out happily singing to himself “food, food, food~ blueberries”.
When he turned to find wine colored eyes on him his smile dropped making the room go quiet except for his running heartbeat. Stepping back Zero turned again to keep cooking, determined to ignore the pureblood who sat at the kitchen table watching him cook. Zero felt tense as he made the batter finishing it by dumping half the container of blueberries inside that he had washed before placing it on the pan to begin cooking. He could feel himself tremble when he felt the pureblood approach him “where's Cross”.
Kaname didn't know what he expected his mate to say. Anything but ask where another man and alpha was as he held in his growl in favor of moving closer “if you are asking if he knows I am here than he does not I came after I was sure he left for the association along with Yagari-san and Takayami-san is in his dorm sleeping off his hangover”. Zero just flipped over his pancake “why are you here Kaname” the pureblood walked closer until he was right behind his mate feeling Zero tense as he trapped him between his body and the counter leaning down to smell his scent at the base of his neck “I missed you” then he planted a sweet kiss to his mark feeling Zero shiver as he continued to make his breakfast. “Well I didn't miss you”. Kaname chuckled so deeply that Zero felt it through his back as the pureblood leaned more onto him. “You did”.
Zero grit his teeth as another kiss was placed to his mark feeling his omega keen for his alpha as Kaname placed another soft kiss with a slight nip to his skin making Zero grip the counter to hold in his moan. “You missed me omega”. Zero shook his head to deny it as he felt another nip to his mark making him arch as he unconsciously pushed his ass back to meet Kaname's groin making the pureblood groan lustfully. “I did not come for that but I would be more than happy to give you what your body wants my mate”.
Zero gulped as his thoughts swam he couldn't think until the smell of burning food reached them both making Kaname back up as his mate cursed trying to save his pancake only for one side to be completely black. Growling as he turned to the pureblood Zero glared “you made me kill it! You bastard, I was going to eat that!” Kaname raised his brow in question at the fact his mate looked like he was about to cry over a pancake when he had a whole bowl of batter left. “Zero you have more batter”. Zero sniffed and nodded “I know that but I wanted that one".
What the hell is going on with him? “Mate there all the same”. Zero growled at him feeling angry all of a sudden “no! That one was special, you stupid dick bag!” the pureblood sighed as he sat at the table. When he came to see his mate he expected Zero to be furious and fight him but not over a pancake. “Zero, what is wrong?” Zero scoffed as he went back to cooking scorning him “well let's see I was raped by my enemy he bonded me and told me I was his mate and that I had no choice but to fall in love with him. I am an omega and I've been hiding that I was one for years and at my first heat I was assaulted. You know you took my virginity from me right. Now more bullshit is about to go down that I don't want to fucking deal with! Oh and my godfather says hi you old ass bastard of a pedophile!”
Kaname blinked as he pursed his lips “I do not know what you mean by the last part”. Zero scoffed as he finished the last of the pancakes moving to his bacon wondering if he should put blueberries in that also. It would be so good but would Kaname like it? Then he scowled at his thought, damning his omega for making him want to care for the bastard. “Sure you don't. I'll pretend I believe what you say Kaname”. The pureblood rolled his eyes watching as his mate cooked only to be pleasantly surprised when Zero sat a plate in front of him with a blush “don't say anything dick head and just eat”.
Kaname gave a small smile as he began to eat, keeping his eyes on his mate as Zero indulged himself with food, also surprised by that from what he remembered Zero did not eat as much as this in one sitting. His mate had most of the pancakes but Kaname noticed he had most of the bacon that Zero remembered he didn't like too crispy. “Is there any reason you are eating so much?” Zero grunted as he kept eating, not answering him that the pureblood figured his mate didn't know or didn't want to tell him what he did know.
Deciding he didn't want to irritate his mate Kaname took his fork to eat hoping to make small conversation with his hunter “is there any reason there are no eggs Zero” as soon as the word ‘egg’ left his mouth his mate turned green and made a run for the trashcan in the kitchen to throw up what he had eaten. Kaname frowned as he stood to follow Zero moving to rub his back as Zero gagged into the can. “You hggg bastard!”
How was he the bastard? Kaname had no idea Zero would react this way to hearing the word. “I was not privy to the fact I could not say eggs” obviously Takuma was right about him being constipated in emotions and an idiot as he said the word that caused Zero to vomit again violently into the can moaning in pain. “I'll hggg fucking k-hgg you!” Maybe I am destined for my mate to threaten my life for the rest of ours together. “I apologize Zero, I did not mean to say it again”. Zero shook his as he pulled away from the can looking sickly pale “water” the pureblood hummed in understanding as he moved to the sink grabbing a glass out of the cabinet then filling it with water before moving back to his mate who was leaning against the counter panting as he clutched his stomach that rolled again.
Moaning as he breathed deeply through his nose to stop his stomach from doing acrobatics waiting for his water. When the glass was presented to him Zero took it slowly as he brought it up to his lips taking slow sips so he didn't upset himself more. When the pureblood moved closer to him Zero took a deep breath of his scent and felt his tummy un-tense. Do I really have to be close to him to feel better and what about my pancakes! “Kaname…”.
He glanced into his mates hesitant and wary eyes feeling every bit the beast that he was to have put that look of fear in Zero's eyes. “Yes” Zero mumbled his question making Kaname lean closer to hear “would you mind speaking more clearly”. Feeling his eye twitch Zero grabbed the front of the purebloods shirt and yanked him down to glare evilly into his eyes feeling his own burn that same tyrian color “I am going to cuddle you but you better not fucking touch me”. Kaname stared wide eyed at his hunter and nodded “yes of course anything you want” Zero narrowed his eyes as they turned back to the same lilac and let his shirt go.
Gritting his teeth, Zero made his way to the stairs not wanting to be caught on the couch with the pureblood and could sense Kaneme following behind him to his room. Outside of the door Zero paused his voice trembling “you better not touch me Kaname”.
Kaname finally understood what Zero meant when he said ‘touch “I will keep my hands to myself Zero I swear”. His omega nodded and turned the knob to open the door pushing it open Zero almost felt like he was walking to his execution “it's still a mess so..” what do you say to the man who raped you in the very room you were letting him back into so he could lay with you so you'd finally calm down and feel safe. I don't know how to feel about it I feel nervous I feel hatred I feel hurt and angry some way I feel betrayed by him and my body I feel relief that he's here to keep me safe that he even came to see me at all and I hate that the most because I'm supposed to loath him but everyone is looking at me telling me I am telling myself I have to move forward. Sighing in tiredness Zero laid down on the rumbled sheets and made himself comfortable before he even thought of letting the pureblood on his dismantled nest but it felt safe so he left it as it was.
Glancing down at the sheets was the only permission Zero was giving him because other than that he wanted to forget he even had Kaname in the nest with him. Laying down there were a lot of things Kaname wanted to do. He wanted to curl around his clearly distressed mate but knew he was the reason Zero was so uneasy. He wanted to wrap his arms around his omega and tell him everything would be okay but Kaname didn't know if it would be. He wanted to kiss Zero and not have his mate tense and move away from him in fear of being taken.
Laying on his back Kaname let Zero decide how he wanted him so the omega would feel safe keeping his eye closed so he didn't set off the hunters nerves as Zero arranged himself to curl into his alpha's side laying his head on the left side of Kaname's chest to hear his calming heartbeat. Mumbling to him as he fell into an uneasy but restful sleep “I hate you. You know that right?” Kaname could only smile wistfully “I apologize that I have made you do so my mate”.

Yuki wasn't sure if her brother going to apologize to her other brother was a good idea. Okay maybe not a bad one but bad enough he waited until Cross left to go like a teen sneaking into his boyfriend's house without the father knowing. Yuki guessed the situation applied to that but also in a really bad way. She had offered to go with him but of course Kaname said something about being a man and handling his business like one. Yuki swore her older brother needed to stop listening to the other night class members like those who were teens. Kaname was young but he sure as hell didn't act like he was half the time. Walking to the main gate to meet Sayori for an outing Yuki seriously pondered if her brother was an idiot.
Seeing her own mate Yuki waved happily at the hunter in training who waved back meeting her in a hug “Yuki it's good to see you during the day. Are you sure the sun won't bother you?” Yuki pulled back from the hug and nodded answering “I'll be fine don't worry Yori thank you for meeting me I have some stuff I need to get off my chest I was hoping we could grab some food and head to the park” Sayori nodded, giving her best friend a soft smile.
She really figured when Yuki became a pureblood her best friend would change and no longer want anything to do with her but apparently Zero had said some things that hurt her so Yuki hoped she could come talk to her and she helped her best friend. Sayori didn't really care that Yuki was a pureblood as long as she stayed the same girl who had been her friend all those years then she had no problem with it. Sayori would even say she had a slight crush on her friend but she knew she'd never have a chance so she was trying to get rid of it but every time Yuki wanted to hang out and sometimes literally hang off of her in hugs and kisses to the cheeks as thanks and borderline dates didn't help the feeling go away.
Yuki shook her friend and mate who had zoned out on her with a soft but slightly sad look in her beautiful hazel eyes “Yori?” At Yuki's voice she came back from her somewhat troubling thoughts on her feelings and what to do with them “hm oh yes that sounds lovely Yuki. Is what you want to discuss bad?”
Yuki shook her head than thought and nodded, not sure which to choose but settled on a simple “it's complicated” and that was all Sayori needed to grab her best friend's hand and pull her towards their favorite café to grab lunch and head to the park. Sitting on the picnic table at the park both girls lightly talked as they sipped on their boba tea and snacked on some sandwiches and cakes when Yuki finally caved under her mates inquiring stare “Kaname raped Zero!” Then used her vampire speed to duck as her mate spit her drink out of her mouth before having to move to pat the rest out of Yori's air way. Coughing Sayori tried to get her words out without the burn “what are you talking about?”
Yuki frowned in pain as she rubbed her hunters back before taking the seat next to her “I said what I meant, apparently Zero is Kaname's mate and apparently my brother is an omega. You weren't at crossover last week so you wouldn't know that Zero went into heat all of a sudden and I stupidly let Kaname take him to the chairman's place while I tried to control the human alphas and he didn't come back right away I don't know why the hell I waited until the third day to check but it was too late anyway the damage was done when Kaname came back on the fifth I wanted to kill him because I knew Zero would never willingly share his heat with my brother or anyone for the matter he was clearly hiding he was an omega for some reason. I just, I don't know… is it wrong that I'm also hurt by what Kaname did to Zero or is that selfish of me Sayori?”
Well she did not expect this bomb to be dropped on her as she palmed her forehead feeling the headache rush to her brain “okay first off it's not your fault and no it's not wrong you're also hurt by this happening. Next it's no one but Kaname's fault for his actions to Zero and how he treated his so-called mate for years so don't blame yourself for that either”. Yuki shook her head squeezing her hands together in nerves “but what if me having feelings for Kaname back then made him act that way towards Zero! What if it's my fault they ended up this way Sayori!?
Sayori placed her small hands on the trembling shoulders of her best friend and shook Yuki gently “it's no one but Kaname's fault for his actions Yuki. I will be honest with you, you liking him probably didn't help but Kaname didn't have to pursue you or encourage your feelings for him either. He is a grown man, Yuki and he knew what he was doing back then and when he assaulted Zero okay. Only Kaname has the right to take the blame but Zero is strong Yuki the strongest person and human even hunter I have ever met and he will get through this and survive like always to the very end and he has you and even me to help him do it you're his sister too and no one is asking you to pick a side just follow your heart”.
Yuki took deep calming breaths as her mates words circled her head until it made sense to her “thank you” Sayori nodded and pulled Yuki into a hug before they pulled away when Sayori had a question to ask “why are we here then I thought you'd be with Zero right now?” Yuki laughed nervously as she scratched the back of her head “ah you see Kaname wanted to apologize alone as a man”. Sayori gave her a deadpan look as her words “you let him go alone” Yuki pouted as she played with her fingers “I thought I shouldn't interfere for once either with their dispute and let them handle it so I let him go alone. I swear I threaten to do as Zero's note said and rip his dick off and throw it in the lake!”
Sayori stared before her cheeks flushed as she let out a loud unrestrained laugh to her friend's words making Yuki gaze at the beauty in front of her in awe before she giggled a little too. Thank you Yori for always being there for me. When they both stopped laughing Sayori was still blushing that Yuki couldn't help but listen to her beast as she cupped her friends red cheeks making Sayori look at her in surprise turning to shock when Yuki brushed her lips against hers. “Yuki?” The female pureblood shook her head and smirked at the blush that spread further “just thank you okay”.
Sayori smiled tentatively but tender before turning back to her cake with a bashful smile remembering she had spit her drink out in front of her. “It's fine we can share mine” nodding they finished their lunch before heading back to the academy for a nap in their dorm room. Laying on the same bed watching her mate sleep, Yuki smiled her gaze loving yes thank you Sayori for staying.

Kaname honestly didn't mean to fall asleep as he woke up to the sound of arguing and hearing his mates voice. Zero sounded angry and embarrassed while the other male voices were furious, well one was and the other was tired as they went back and forth. Opening his eyes slowly so they wouldn't notice the first thing that Kaname gathered was that his hunter mate was on top of him blocking the gun pointed at his chest as his voice rose in anger before he figured that Yagari had his gun aimed at him while Kaien was trying to get them both to stop so they could talk like adults. Finally he tuned into what was being said focusing on Zero.
“Shut up Yagari! I said I let him up here and he didn't do anything, now calm the hell down!” Yagari growled as he stepped closer to his student “so you're just going to let him sleep with you after what he did! Are you fucking stupid Zero!?” Zero felt his eye twitch trying to keep from whimpering as the scent of enraged alpha clouded the room but kept his glare aimed at his teacher “maybe I am! You don't get it do you? He is my mate my alpha and I don't feel fucking safe without him even if I don't want to I can't fucking help it! I am a goddamn omega I don't know how to fucking act! He makes it better and worse and you fucking yelling at me is making me panic now shut the hell up!”
Kaien stepped forward to block his friend's view of his son in an attempt to calm them all down “Toga we have to understand that Zero has been a beta for years I don't know why but he has. This is new for all of us but I promised to help him move on and deal with it because he's right Kaname whether we like it or not is his mate and alpha we can't change that so we all have to deal with it. So please lower the gun before someone and I mean Zero gets hurt because he's awake and will kill us. I need everyone to relax”.
That was his cue to speak up “yes Yagari-san if you would be so kind as to stop pointing the gun in my direction as my mate blocks the shot to my heart” at his words Zero stiffened before relaxing his body hoping his sensei hadn't caught it but luckily he hadn't too busy glaring into the bemused eyes of the pureblood king. Slowly breathing Zero climbed off the bed and walked out the room slamming the door shut behind him leaving the three men and alphas to glare and eye each other warily “has Zero been eating much lately”.
At the random question Kaien frowned in confusion while Yagari finally put his gun away and crossed his arms scowling at the leech casually laying in his students bed like he owned it pissing the hunter off “yes almost too much” Yagari snorted finding that little white lie amusing “too much that boy is eating like a damn starving wild animal not to mention the fucking blueberry obsession and the egg aversion”. Kaname ran his fingers through his hair clicking his tongue “well you might attempt to kill me but I believe Zero may be carrying”. I did not think this could happen. No, do not lie to yourself, Kaname. It is unbefitting of a king you wanted this to happen, another tie used to connect you to Zero to keep him close to wanting to stay. Such a horrible man I am.
Yagari pulled his gun back out and glared death at the pensive eyes looking back at him “this is your fault leech” and then he turned and stormed out needing to finally get that drink. Kaien blinked tiredly at the pureblood who stared down at his hands in silence before he broke it to his friend “you must think I am a monster do you not”. Kaien smiled wryly as he sighed as hurt chuckled out "aren't we all Kaname. Monsters in human skin that is not only what a vampire is, my friend. Humans no hunters can be just as inhumane as your kind are. I think it's the fact that you have no remorse is what makes him so mad and fearful. Maybe you should fix that”.
Kaname chuckled as he stood his tone mocking to himself “yes well Takuma has made it his daily task to point out my emotional unstable constipation of stupidity along with attempting to help me overcome such emotional deficiency. I do hope it works soon”. Shaking his head in wonder Kaien opened the door to his son's room heading down the stairs to find Zero sitting at the table eating pancakes like nothing happened making his jaw click while he dropped his voice to a barely audible whisper of “tell him before he finds out by himself or from another” and walked away.
Kaname glared at the back of his friends head and whispered a low curse “fuck”. Now that caught Zero's attention from his reheated breakfast “fuck what? Better not be me”. Kaname shook his head and took a seat at the other end of the table to gaze into his omega's eyes “Zero I love you and I apologize for what I have done and the past but I can take neither back nor can I tell you I regret mating and bonding you because I love you but I am sorry for as you humans say raping you Zero. I am not aware if you know this but first heats is the highest chance of pregnancy for new omega's and I believe your eating and vomiting may have to do with you carrying our child”.
Kaname took his words and measured them for what to add “I want you to love me and the child but most of all the child deserves your love over me and not hate or scorn for how it came to be as an extension of my actions. I ask no I beg that you have it in your heart to love me I do not ask for forgiveness because I do not deserve it but I can't help but ask for your love”. He had to stop because his mate had tears in his eyes as Zero looked at him making the pureblood panic but his face stayed the same not compete indifference but Zero could see the want and desire the compassion making him bite than lick his lip to soothe the hurt “I won't make it easy for you Kaname. I'm starting from hate and confused attraction and you pushed yourself back but if I am pregnant I will work with you that's all I can give right now but I sure as hell won't give you love this soon”.
Kaname gave him a small but tender smile making Zero blush and look away to keep eating letting his pureblood mate watch him eat until he was full. Narrowing his eyes Zero started to glare at the older male in question making Kaname raise his eyebrow in his own questioning look as he waited for his hunter to ask his question “are you really 10,000 years old?” Out of all the damn things for his mate to ask. Kaname grunted as he glanced away that Zero took it for a yes making him smirk in anger shocking Kaname “I will fucking kill you if you bit and marked any other omega in your long ass life bastard!”
Feelling his eyes widen in an emotion the pureblood could only call fear as his mates eyes changed and his aura rose before Zero sent a rose vine at him making Kaname drop out the chair “cheater!” If this is a pregnant Zero I will be fine with the one child we will have.

I like an emotional Zero. Also his godfather will be explained in a later chapter along with the curse well that's what Zero calls it. Like I said I'm taking it a chapter at a time so thank you for your patience. To some it might not have made sense and I also apologize for that it's hard to explain or write stuff when not many people understand my thought process. To be honest I barely do but I tried. So new chapter yay! Anyway so first I want to thank everyone for reading giving Kudos and comments. The reason I haven't been responding is because I feel it just be easier to answer at once. It's just mostly encouraging and excitement for the next chapter or some confusion but hopefully it will clear up for you in the next chapters and I couldn't tell you how much that means to me unless I was face to face.
This chapter is kinda ah? I guess I mean I like it but I feel like I could do better but I also feel like if I keep trying to fix it I'll hate it so I am posting and praying for the best. I want to say there is humor but I'm not trying to make it offensive either but I don't want it super heavy because as I have said it is not a slow burn and there will be time skips so just work with me please. If I don't post as soon as usual or maybe not answer it's probably me going through a phase of my depression. I am only saying this so you know I do have off days or weeks were I am stuck in my head so I shut down but I am working on it but today was a better day and comments and your support give me joy so here.

Grunting Kaname rolled out of the way of the bullet his mate felt the need to fire at him before getting to his feet to hopefully appease his mate “Zero I have not marked anyone else but you I swear”. Zero paused wondering why he was so upset about it. He had just told the pureblood he didn't have feelings for him yet the hot jealousy running through him burned and made his vision turn red as he glared at his mate.
“You better not have or I'll have someone take that fucking thing off and I'll fucking silicone it for when I want to get off and throw you in the trash shit head”. Kaname felt his eyebrow twitch. Did Zero just threaten to make a damn dildo out of my actual dick? Shaking his head to get rid of the horribly morbid thought even if Kaname knew the threat was empty by the slight pain in his mate's eyes if Zero was truly pregnant he wouldn't put it past the omega to force himself to be okay with someone removing his cock as revenge. “Okay there will be no need for that seeing as I have not marked anyone else but you before”.
Zero scoffed and sat back down to finish the rest of his pancakes agitated as he violently stabbed the fork through imagining it was any stupid bitch omegas his alpha had slept with. No wonder he's so good bastards had a lot of fucking practice! In a way Zero knew he was being irrational but that didn't matter because he was fucking pissed off and if he was upset than the pureblood who upset him could damn sure deal with his fucking fits!
Sitting wearily down in his chair Kaname could only guess what his mate was seeing as he stabbed his pancakes and viscously bit into them like it was a head he was taking off. Other than that, telling him he could be pregnant went significantly better than I thought. Zero pouted no longer mad now he was just plain upset feeling the tears build up stupid fucker it's his fault he's fucking handsome and other omega's are fucking whore's who he slept with and had more experience and better body's and probably didn't threaten to kill and take his dick off before. I hate him or maybe me? Or do I actually like him?
The pureblood watched silently as the emotions ran through his mates eyes, seeing flashes of pain, confusion and insecurity in them confusing him. What could his mate possibly be insecure about? “Zero?” Zero looked away still pouting as he tried not to cry "shut up don't talk to me!” Rolling his eyes at how his mate was acting yet the motion held fondness Kaname stood back up and slowly approached his hunter making sure Zero could see him clearly.
Standing in front of his mate Kaname dropped down to one knees still moving slowly as he held out his hand questioningly making Zero huff but placed his hand in the purebloods to hold. Zero felt his omega purr one he tried to hold in but Kaname could see the movement of the teens chest “there is no reason for your insecurity Zero. You are my mate and no one was or will ever be like you. If you wish to know the truth I have laid with others. I have even loved another woman and omega before but not like you and I was never going to mark her either because it didn't feel right and she didn't feel the same way. I am sorry if this hurts you baby”.
Zero blushed around his glare “don't call me baby and I'm not insecure dammit!” Sighing he just brought the smaller hand up to his lips to kiss and mumble against them a soft “I love you mate” Zero bit his lip to keep the smile in it would have been a small one but a smile all the same. “Whatever get off the floor loser” shaking his head he kissed his hunter's hand again “I am sorry Zero” now he was getting embarrassed “I get it get up" Kaname smirked at the blush wanting to make him laugh “I am learning emotional stability for you I have not done that for another”. Zero snorted as he covered his mouth with his other hand to hide the bigger smile “I guess I am special than if your crazy ass wants to be stable”. Kaname laughed deeply against his hand as he kissed it one last time before he stood up still holding the hand. “Come stand with me”. Zero gave him a suspicious look but stood at his tugging.
Kaname hummed as he pulled his phone out of his jean pocket unlocking it to go to a Playlist no one knew he had because he wasn't ashamed but it was a little stalkerish to have a Playlist dedicated to his mate that he completely redownloaded from Zero's own laptop one evening. “Do not be mad about the songs”. Furrowing his brows Zero frowned as one of his favorite slow songs came on not sure how to feel that the pureblood had it on his phone but decided to ignore it for now as Kaname placed his hand on his mates hip uncertain of the reaction Zero would give but when the omega just looked at him Kaname gently placed the full weight of his large hand there feeling Zero shiver as the omega tightened their right hands together that he moved.
Pulling back slightly on his right foot noticing Zero immediately following the step perfectly made him smile while listening to the omega hum the song “do I want to know how you got these songs?” Kaname shook his head while lightly turning them in a circle “no you do not there is only so much of you threatening to remove my manhood that I can take before I think you will follow through somehow”. Snickering Zero moved a little closer teasing the older male “really now you'll still see it you just won't be the one to use it I hear silicone dildos are the best kind for omega's”. Kaname scowled “that is not funny I am quite attached to my cock” he said it just to see his mate blush that pretty shade of red as Zero growled at him “shut up idiot don't say cock”.
Kaname shrugged as he slowed them to a sway “it is what I have. It is what you have. I like my cock I don't know about you…”. Zero scrunched up his nose in offense “of course I like my cock” Kaname smirked seductively “really now do you play with it or your hole before you knew you were an omega”. Zero blushed so bad his neck turned pink “shut up! I always knew I was an omega and if I did it's not your fucking business!”
Pulling them to a stop Kaname bit his lip “yes you mention you were hiding it but you have always known I mean I figured it was being suppressed I have yet to figure out why though or if I had any right to approach you to ask”. Zero grunted as another song came on and and forced the pureblood to move so they could start to dance again as they talked “I have and I knew you would have guessed that and maybe before you apologized I wouldn't have but it's kinda hard to explain something I still don't fully understand. Even though it's been explained to me I mean I call it a damn curse”.
Kaname hummed as he spun him again making sure not to upset his mates stomach “a curse is that true or are you just disliking the properties of what it entitles”. He couldn't help but roll his eyes the pureblood was so fucking proper all the time. “Stop talking like a damn king for a second, treat me like a mate and not a subject or this shit is not gonna work even more than what the hell you did”.
“Ah sorry it is not that easy for me to be a regular young adult Zero much less talk like one. Though if you give me lessons I am sure you are a better teacher than Takuma” Zero deadpanned at the look in the purebloods eyes “no no lessons anytime soon ask again and I knee you in the balls. I wonder how durable those family jewels are bitch”. Kaname winced as if feeling it he remembered the kick to the face, that was his mate's foot he couldn't imagine getting a knee to his balls by the hunter omega or not his mate was dangerous and not afraid to do damage.
Laughing nervously “no I am not too sure those would survive a hit from you”. Letting the hand he was holding go Zero moved away to the fridge suddenly hungry again and Kaname just watched his mate pull out a container of blueberries and wash the whole thing moving to the couch to eat. Looking back at the pureblood Zero grunted as he sat down “well I'm not gonna ask just sit the fuck down”. Smiling, Kaname sat next to him placing his arm on the back of the couch until Zero growled “no don't get cocky” and he quickly removed it.

Somehow more than two hours later he was watching a horror movie with his mate as Zero laughed at the gore scenes but would jump at the jump scares while Kaname had no fucking idea what he was watching something called saw which to him was a torture idea movie and he mentally took some notes humans were so creative when they wanted to be. He wasn't paying attention when another jump scare gore scene played because next he knew he had an arm full of shaking omega who suddenly laughed as the shock of what happened left him.
Kaname didn't know what possessed him to circle his arms around Zero who stopped laughing at realizing where he had landed to look at him “are my balls still on the line if I kiss you” Zero thought about it would it really hurt or piss me off with how good it is. I mean I'm definitely not Kaname's first kiss like he was mine. Licking his lip Zero watched as his alpha's eyes turned darker and Kaname followed his tongue “a little one okay and no tongue or I'll bite it off” well he didn't need to be told twice as he leaned down to press their lips together uncertain but hopeful that Zero would kiss him back.
Zero almost jolted away at the soft touch of lips to his own before he closed his eyes and pressed them a little firmer together moving his arms around the purebloods neck to pull him closer that Kaname relaxed and tightened his hold on his mates slim waist making sure to keep his hands over Zero's shirt and his tongue to himself. When Zero licked his lip silently asking to be let in, Kaname did. He had no problem letting his omega lead the kiss smiling at Zero's inexperience. It was cute.
If Zero had to describe the purebloods taste he'd say spice that made his tongue tingle pleasantly as he moved it against his mates. Though he was glad Kaname was giving him control he couldn't help the bone deep instincts that wanted his alpha to take control and guide him so he whined and pressed closer to the pureblood making Kaname growl and squeeze his waist as he took control of the kiss that Zero moaned.

Kaname was glad he had not upset his mate further Zero seemed more upset that they had missed the movie than that they had kissed and that they had stopped kissing.

Zero couldn't stop the smirk from crawling up his lips at the uncomfortable moving the pure blood was doing to hide the fact he was hard. As the pureblood moved again to hide his erection Zero giggled “you having a hard time there”. Kaname threw his mate and annoyed pained look how dare you tease me this fucking hurts! “Yes I have a problem Zero” his omega nodded and Kaname could tell he was at least trying not to laugh at him “well there's a bathroom down the hall and you have a perfectly working hand don't you”.
Kaname growled as he stood up making sure to show how hard he was before he made his way to the bathroom. I can be an ass all-so Zero. Closing the door behind himself Kaname didn't even lock it as he quickly pulled his cock out, sighing in relief as he stood over the toilet.

Zero could work with regret of his actions; he couldn't deal with the fact Kaname hadn't felt bad but if the pureblood felt even a smidgen of remorse and regret then he could work with that.
Quickly changing he hurried back down the stairs to find the pureblood at the front door about to leave, making him frown “you're leaving?” Kaname cleared his throat a few times to hide the pain in his voice “ah yes I have some work to do and it's almost time for crossover so I must go get ready. My apologies for leaving” Zero felt his brow twitch at the lie as he crossed his arms and the room in three quick steps to stand in front of the pureblood to glare into Kaname's adverting eyes “so you're gonna lie to me because you don't want me to know you cried”.
Kaname felt the air leave him as he slumped against the door of the house and ran his fingers through his hair tugging the strands lightly “it is not something I choose to do often and I am ashamed I have let myself do so” Zero slammed his fist into the purebloods stomach making Kaname gasp and fold over “so you're ashamed you cried because you feel bad about what you did huh!”
Kaname just slid down the wood and covered his face “no Zero I'm ashamed I even did what I did and how it effected you and hurt you and now I think I have the right to fucking cry over it like I was the one who got hurt! It pisses me off okay! So yes I lied about why I was leaving. I didn't think you'd be okay with those kinds of tears”. Zero shoved his hands in his pockets to gaze down at the pureblood smelling blood mixed with salt and figured Kaname was biting his lip so he wouldn't cry again.
Then he kicked the pureblood in his ribs making Kaname groan and pull his hands away so Zero could see his wet face “stop being a bitch Kaname! You think I wanted to cry over what you did! Hell no I didn't but I did okay it's not the same kind of hurt but I'm sure me being your omega and possibly pregnant and not letting you hold or comfort me hurts you and your alpha but damn don't be a bitch about it get it over with and if you want to be a coward and fucking leave than leave just don't expect to talk to me anytime soon after you exit that front door”.
Not waiting for a response Zero moved back to the couch determined to watch another horror movie to laugh at. So when the pureblood sat next to him all he said is “have one of your friends bring me blueberries” Kaname snorted as he wiped his eyes real quick “they're out of season” Zero shrugged not caring “work some magic your possibly baby wants blueberries and your omega wants blueberries so get me some damn blueberries Kaname”. If that wasn't acceptance for their situation Kaname didn't know what would be. “Of course dear” Zero just scoffed and leaned a little closer.

Yagari snorted as he took another sip “with a son like Zero yes it is. He's fucking crazy along with too forgiving and a trusting dumbass”. Kaien shook his head as he laughed softly “I wonder why with who raised him I think he's the most normal out of us. Though the forgiving part is true I don't think he wants to admit to himself he's going to and I think Kaname knows that and some part of him wants it and the other part despises the very hint that Zero would forgive him”. Yagari finished his bottle going for another “and you? Will you forgive him? He has been your friend since the leech was a boy”.
Shaking his head as he took small sips not wanting to really drink nor did he like the brand the other alpha had gotten “it's not my place to do the forgiving Yagari if Zero can than I will and forgiveness is not the same as trusting Kaname again because that will take awhile to be the same again” the dark haired man gave a, sardonic smirk “here's to trust” Kaien laughed as he clinked their bottles together “I'll drink to that”.

Stepping into the moon dorms hours later Kaname was once again dragged down to his little sister's height as she shook him with the whole inner circle behind her “well did you apologize to him?!” Kaname placed his hand on her shoulder so she'd let him go and stood fixing his clothes “yes if you all wish to know so bad I did in fact apologize to Zero”. Yuki tapped her foot impatiently “and!” Kaname really knew he was an ass for dragging it out “he is willing to work with me on this for the sake of our possible child”.
Yuki grinned until she realized what he just said and kicked him in the dick making sure to hit his balls too using all her strength making Kaname drop to his knees with a loud curse “fuck!” Yuki glowered down at her brother as he rolled on the floor clutching his groin, swearing the whole time “dammit! You couldn't have held back!” Yuki scoffed and looked away “no! Maybe next time you'll think before you start using that thing on my foster brother!”
Wanting to go see Zero she stomped away but not without grabbing her cousin's hand and dragging him with her making Takuma frown he had plans with his mate. Glaring at the pureblood Takuma pointed at the stairs “when you can move I have a lesson for you it's called know when to say something and how to say it!” Kaname grunted as he groaned his words "duly noted” then mumbled something about feeling like he had to puke.
Kain covered his cousin's mouth as Aido almost laughed at the pureblood holding his own snickers in until Rima spoke up “is that why I had to go find blueberries two hours ago to give to Seiren?” When Aido howled in laughter Kaname glared with red eyes making him stop only to start again making Ruka punch him as she giggled. It's not so scary when the pureblood is clutching his family jewels on the floor like that. “I'm sorry Kaname-sama it's just this is kinda what you get” slowly getting up with Seiren help Kaname pinched the bridge of his nose to focus on not losing his lunch “explain”. Kain snickered behind his hand as he answered for Aido “basically you deserved it”
“What goes around comes around full circle” Kaname turned to Rima with a pained expression making her shrug and bite her poky “what we all thought it even Seiren”. Kaname turned to his bodyguard and she glanced away “well you did deserve it my lord”. I guess I do deserve it. As long as it still works later on. “Thanks” at his sarcastic remark Ruka smiled back replying just as sarcastically “you're welcome Kaname-sama”.
Making his way slowly to the steps he felt Takuma follow behind him and holding in a groan he didn't want to take another lesson from the blonde green eyes noble which would really just be Takuma ranting as he pointed out the fact he was an idiot. Though after what he just did Kaname felt he needed a recourse on the rant seeing as he had been kicked in the dick and balls and that earlier before he left and he kissed Zero and almost lost them. No, not the kiss you grabbed his ass too.
Sitting gingerly down on his couch Kamame moaned as he felt his dick and balls pulse in pain “Seiren ice please” vanishing, she came back with a pack of peas with a sadistic look in her eyes as she dropped them on his crotch and disappeared on him. Gritting his teeth Kaname felt ganged up on. So when his friend handed him a glass of whiskey he tossed it back as he pressed the peas gently on his groin hearing Takuma sit next to him seeing as he couldn't see his eyes closed as he tried to focus on anything other than the level ten pain he was experiencing.
Takuma almost felt bad for him key word almost “did you learn your lesson about time and place” at the blonde's mocking words Kaname gave him the finger something everyone seemed to be giving him another thing his mate gave him after threatening to make it so their baby would never have a sibling if he touched his ass again without his permission. “Will you learn to shut up if I just nod and say yes” Takuma arched his eyebrow and grinned happily “yes I would”.
Kaname sighed in relief until the blonde spoke again in a vindictive tone “not today though I had plans with my mate that you're sister ruined by stealing him because you have no timing like an emotionally unstable constipated idiot so now you have to suffer my rant and the feeling of your dick feeling like it wants to fall off and your balls turning purple”.
“If I just pass out on you?”
“I'll wait until you wake up and start over but louder”

Senri put the first one in and sat down with a whole giant box of poky and handed him a blueberry flavor one that he took as Yuki sat on the floor with some chocolate ice cream and handed him a bowl of blueberry pie ice cream that he finally smiled “so are we actually going to watch a movie or gossip” Yuki paused the film and grinned sheepishly while Senri shrugged “gossip” Zero nodded at the red haired male “gossip it is then. So how's Takuma's lessons for Kaname going” Senri smirked darkly “it's going to take awhile your alpha's a fucking idiot an emotionally unstable constipated idiot as Takuma likes to rant and Kaname continues to prove”.
Yuki cackled loudly “he's an idiot in pain now too!” Zero arched his eyebrow in question as he ate another spoon full “huh why?” Senri snickered as he finished a stick moving to the next “she kicked him in the dick and balls with pureblood strength I hope you weren't attached to any of those things”.
Choking on his poky stick Zero coughed at his words “hey! Those are mine to threaten to damage and mess with!” All of them looked at each other and laughed loudly. Kaien smiled as he closed his room door and glanced at the drunk hunter on his bed shaking his head in an annoyed fondness for his son yet Kaien couldn't be more proud of how strong Zero was. Who is he kidding? He forgave Kaname as soon as he got on his knees to apologize.
“Now what to do with you, Yagari?” The man grunted as he rolled over “you could come lay with me dumbass” Kaien smiled as he laid next to his friend keeping space between them so he didn't make the man uncomfortable only to be surprised as the hunter pulled him into his arms and placed his nose in his neck “why Yagari I didn't know you liked my scent that much”. Yagari grunted again as he yawned “shut up dumbass I'm trying to sleep” he pouted but relaxed his body “you're a mean drunk Toga-chan” Yagari nipped at his neck and squeezed his waist “no I'm playful”.
Kaien chuckled “same difference with you” all he heard was a snore as he closed his eyes, his lips pulled up in an ironic smile. It's sad when I think of it but I am ashamed to say I didn't notice that Zero never really truly hated Kaname. Watching them be by themselves it's easy to see where his emotions get confused. Hate and love sometimes go hand and hand when you don't know the difference between what you feel and who you feel it for. Listening to the teens laugh at the purebloods expense Kaien relaxed himself to go to sleep hoping tomorrow would be easier and not painful. He snorted, knowing with those two it would never be easy. They were dramatic as hell with each other. Love at its finest.

So I hope you enjoyed but I was writing and i stopped to realize there will not be fighting really or not the kind you think. I wanted to go down a different route with it kinda a more realistic human way like real life stuff with Zero having to come to terms with it and Kaname not using his being as an excuse. I feel like it dives deeper into the dynamic I am trying to give them for this.
As for BAMF Zero even without the fighting scenes he still is to me. I mentioned in one of my first one shots or this but I haven't seen the anime in years or read it but the stuff Zero has gone through, and how he fights it I just wanted to play on that strength that he has but i wanted a softer side to him also you'll see in later chapters.
I also mentioned this has never happened to me so I can't understand and i hope this helps even a little and doesn't upset you but I hope saying to anyone who it has happened to or you know someone who it did that just hold on to the light at the end. Rolling over on the couch Zero felt his stomach roll as he sat up with a gag almost falling over Serni who was sleeping on the floor in his rush to get to the trash can to throw up. Both vampires woke up startled at the loud sound of retching in the kitchen that Yuki jumped up to rub his back as Senri grabbed some water listening to his friend whine in pain.
“I'll fu-hrgg kill h-hrrgg!” Yuki frowned, she'd want to kill Kaname too silently wondering to herself, would Yori threaten to kill me if I got her pregnant? Thinking about it, yes her omega and friend would, seeing as her mate hated being sick much less vomiting.
Shaking that thought away she brushed Zero's hair back which was growing at an alarming rate to her as she gathered it into a small ponytail to hold back. Zero huffed as he tried to stop vomiting, planning the purebloods murder in his mind vehemently ignoring his omega's whine to not hurt their alpha. Fuck my alpha right now!
Breathing through his nose made it scrunch up as the smell of his own throw up made him sick all over again as he lifted his face from over the can giving Senri a thankful look for the water along with Yuki who was still holding his hair in case he had to throw up again. Sipping slowly Zero emptied the cup and handed it back to the noble who quickly washed it for him while they both helped him to the kitchen table to rest. “Wow Zero I know I hurt him for it but you might really be pregnant”. Zero barely understood what she was saying to him as his mind fogged over completely blanking as he blinked up at her dazed feeling his head pounded but answered as best he could with a simple yet unresponsive “um hmm”.
Senri frowned at how out of it the omega seemed all of a sudden and moved to his friend tilting Zero's head back so he could check his eyes which were dilated as they shook the color darkening as they glazed over “call Kaname!” In the next second Senri had to catch Zero's head to stop it from smacking into the table making Yuki scream as she rushed for her phone quickly dialing her brother's number while Senri tried to lightly smack the omega awake.
“Zero hey can you hear me? Zero come on say anything". Hearing nothing but getting the start of a heavy nose bleed that had him cursing in worry as he tried to keep his head back and tap his cheek hoping the omega would wake up so he knew he was okay. God I don't want to deal with my cousin when he gets here. Why do I have a feeling this is Kaname's fault and that everything is about to get more complicated.
Hearing the scream of fear Kaien jumped out of his bed having already been awake he was quickly followed by Yagari to the kitchen to find Senri trying to get Zero to wake up whose nose was bleeding as he took shallow breaths while Yuki yelled over the phone at Kaien guessed Kaname. Not caring about that he rushed to his son and moved the noble gently out the way as he lifted Zero in his arms to move him to the couch so he'd be leant back on the soft cushion as he kept his head tipped back “Toga grab some napkins and wet a towel he's burning up!”
Yuki screamed as she heard her brother's voice, not sure if it was happiness or fear and anger “Kaname! I need you to come to the chairman's place Zero passed out! His nose is bleeding and he's not taking in enough air and I don't know what to do!”
Cursing as he got out of his bed to slip on some jeans and a sweatshirt while stepping into some loafers he looked a mess as he ran out his room “okay Yuki I need you to calm down and check his eyes for bloodlust” sniffing she went next to her foster father and told him that “Kaname said check if his eyes are red for bloodlust” nodding Kaien slid his eye open to see a dark purple color looking back at him that that was unfocused just staring blankly at his face as his son's chest barely moved “is he on speaker?”
“Yes Kaien I am. His eyes?” Kaname didn't know why he asked when he was right outside the door he used his powers to open and rush to the couch forcing them out of the way as he leaned over his mate while keeping Zero's head tipped back as his nose bled more heavily soaking the napkin that was placed inside “shit Zero. Come on baby focus on me Zero come back okay” pricking his finger Kaname held it under the nostril that wasn't leaking blood and saw as his mate's eye shook before blowing wide again and the regular red of bloodlust filled his eyes but he was still out of it.
Bringing his wrist to his lips Kaname spoke quickly to warn them what he was going to do “I'm going to force feed him so please don't attack me” with that he bit into his wrist sucking in his own blood before sealing his lips over Zero's forcing the blood in his mouth while massaging his throat so he'd swallow it down. Pulling away he checked his eyes again and they had lighted the red a little and bit into his wrist again repeating the process two more times before Zero's breathing picked back up to normal and his eyes slowly came into focus as he blinked lethargically up into concerned wine colored eyes and inhaled his alpha's scent deeply feeling his heart start to pick up then slow down as his body registered the blood in his system.
“Kaname?” The pureblood nodded as he caressed his mate's soft cheek keeping an eye on his coloring and breathing “yes Zero how do you feel” shaking his head only to hiss at the pounding headache made Kaname hold his head still and keep it tipped back his mates nose was still bleeding a little grabbing a clean tissue to replace the bloody one and calmly taking the rag from the hunters hand ignoring them all except for his mate as he dabbed Zero's brow and neck where he was hottest. “Sick..and tired..I'm hot too” Kaname hummed as he brushed his bangs back off his forehead to place the rag there for a second hearing the sigh of relief come from the omega.
Kaien stood back with a small smile he was worried for sure but seeing the pureblood take care of Zero warmed his heart. It wasn't that he didn't believe Kaname didn't love his son. Yesterday's actions proved to him that Kaname wasn't lying and he was regretful. He was just happy to see it other than them dancing yesterday and cuddling on the couch watching movies together and that others were also witnessing his care for Zero. “Kaien I have a number I need you to call for me while I take Zero to the moon dorms” the ex-hunter startled as the pureblood said “uh yeah sure but should you really take him there?”
Kaname sighed as he lightly tapped Zero's cheek when the omega lost focus again “yes he's been away from me and my scent too long his omega is not only going through withdrawals but he is experiencing bloodlust along with a fever from his changing status it's overwhelming his body and if he is carrying the baby is taking blood from him too. He needs constant care and I need to be close to him. I know you would want him here but my room is larger and filled with my scent it will soothe him faster than staying here will”.
Giving a heavy sigh he clenched his jaw and raised his hand when Yagari went to speak in anger but when the hunter saw the serious look on the older man's face he held his tongue and nodded even if he glared at the back of the purebloods head “Yuki and Senri I need you to inform the inner circle and have the night class under control before I bring Zero to the moon dorms and Yagari though we have our problems I would appreciate if you would collect Zero's belongings for me and bring them to the moon dorms. If it would make you feel better you can threaten all the vampires within the dorms. Not as if they would hurt my mate I would take their heads off before they'd even move but if it would appease you and your parental instinct along with your hunter ones I have no problem with such an act”.
Yagari huffed as he headed up the stairs making Kaname smile grimly, sighing he would never get on the hunter's good side. Usually he would not care but as he said the older hunter saw Zero as a child the same way Cross did his blessings would be nice but Kaname doubted it would ever come. Turning to his sister and cousin, Kaname smiled, making both smile back, well Senri really just lifted his lips for a second before they grabbed their stuff and headed out the door heading through the woods so they could run.
“Kaien, take my phone and go to the number that reads Dr. Mary and press call if she doesn't answer, call her back until she does though she should answer the first call”. Taking the phone the pureblood handed to him he went through the contacts to find the number while he watched Kaname lightly smack Zero's cheek again before he checked his eyes seeing the red return that he bit his wrist again to feed him.
Kaien waited for the phone to ring hearing it go four times before someone answered on the fifth ring making him almost cheer “Hello Kaname are you in need of a check up?”
“Hi no well yes my name is Kaien Cross and I am a friend of Kaname Kuran he instructed me to call you for his mate my son Zero” Kaien choose not to mention Zero's last name to the vampire as he heard ruffling he assumed she was gathering her stuff “is the king still residing at the moon dorms of cross academy at this moment?”
“Yes he is, I am the chairman of cross academy. Do you know where it is?” She hummed in confirmation before she spoke again “what are Zero-sama's symptoms” Kaien clicked his tongue as he replied “omega withdrawal bloodlust and changing status we also think he may be pregnant right now if he is we are not sure how far along. So far he's only been vomiting and experiencing carvings and tiredness he also can not stand eggs at the moment. Zero's appetite has increased drastically”.
Mary paused on her side as she placed her bag and portable ultrasound with her before getting in “when was his heat; and how long has he been getting them?” Kaien hissed as Yagari came down with his son's bag and Kaname lifted Zero in his arms “almost two weeks ago and it was his first heat” Mary gasped as she backed out of her driveway to turn to the road that would lead to the school.
“Well how old is he that could be another reason his omega may be struggling to accept the pregnancy and Kaname as his alpha what was their relationship before mating” Kaien didn't really think he should answer these questions but at the purebloods hard stare he told her everything about what happened and how Zero's omega was suppressed so he was struggling with how the bond came and how to behave as an omega. Mary was shocked to say the least that her king would do such a thing yet she also understood she along with Cross was one of the few people who knew what he was.
As a child he didn't understand how to behave as one and his psyche was not balanced. The Kuran's had trusted her with helping him accept his awakening so she figured that was a reason he felt she should be called. So she could help his mate accept either the bond or his omega she didn't know but she'd do her best.
“I understand the situation now. I should be pulling up in 10 minutes please make sure Zero-sama stays at room temperature and is fed Kaname's blood whenever the red seeps back into his eyes there should be no red at all. If he loses focus take some ginger and snap it then wave it under his nose it will calm his stomach should he feel sick so he doesn't throw up the blood he's consumed and try to keep him awake. The scent of blood will only kick start the bloodlust again”.
Kaien relayed what she said to the pureblood who nodded at him and took the back door of the moon dorms to reach his room from the back stairwell, feeling both hunters follow him. Making his way to the door he was met with his sister and cousin with Takuma who spoke up to him “the others are keeping the night class busy and Seiren will lead them to class so they are out of the building before returning Rima, Aido and Kain along with Ruka will stay with the night class and she asked if she should inform Kaito Takayami of Zero-kun's illness”.
Kaname rolled his eyes but answered “yes she may tell the hunter as long as he remains in class to teach the other vampires and help keep them in line”. Takuma nodded and headed towards the stairs to relay the message to them but not without giving Senri a quick kiss before leaving. “Senri can you get as much ginger from the kitchen that you can and bottles of water along with a bowl filled with cold water and a rag and Yuki I feel he'd be more comfortable with you changing him then me” she smiled softly and followed him into his room taking the bag from the hunter and followed her brother into his room before shoving the older pureblood out of the room and closing and locking the door to change her foster brother.
Digging out a pair of shorts and one of his anime shirts she quickly removed the sweatpants he had on and slipped the shorts on then removed the long sleeve he also wore to bed last night to put the t-shirt on before lightly covering him with Kaname's sheets as she grabbed her brother's comb and pulled his hair up into a ponytail to get it off his neck while taking a clip out of her own hair to hold his bangs back before checking his eyes to see them a little red that she went and opened the door for her impatient brother who moved past her into the room but not without giving her orders.
“Yuki, please take Kaien and Yagari with you to let Dr. Mary in the moon dorms and led her to my room. I want you to help her with any equipment she may have to check on Zero and then have a room prepared for her to stay to keep an eye on him”. Giving the older pureblood a mock salute she grabbed her foster father's arm and dragged him out the room also grabbing the hunters who glared at her but did nothing else and just followed her out of the room to the stairs passing Senri on the way. “Do you need help with that?” The noble shook his head at his cousin “no I've got it how is he?” Shaking her head Senri got the message and kept to the purebloods room while Yuki dragged the other two with her to the front door to wait.

Pulling up into the school Mary was shocked at how big it was as someone let her into the gate and it wasn't hard to find the moon dorms on the premises. Parking her van she got out and went to the door after being let in another gate to knock on the door to see the young princess and bowed wondering if Yuki remembered her. She doubted it but it would be nice for her too “Ms Mary! I'm glad to see you again. Thank you for coming to see Zero so fast”.
Smiling at the appreciative grin on the princess face Mary thanked her “no thank you for thinking I could be of service but I'm afraid I need help bringing my equipment in if you would please princess” Yuki rolled her eyes at the title but grabbed Kaien while Yagari just followed the vampires to the van and began carrying everything into the dorms soon being helped by Senri and Takuma to bring everything inside “if you got this I have to tell someone to fix Ms Mary a room for her stay please lead her to Kaname's room for me”.
Kaien patted her head before following the blonde noble up the stairs to the pureblood room, not even knocking as he pushed the door open to see vines everywhere still growing. “What the fuck” at the hunters curse Mary rushed to her kings room to see Kaname trying to calm Zero's aura down that was lashing out at him as his fever grew. “You did not mention he was changing into a pureblood Kaname Kuran!”
At the woman's shout as she rushed into the room he gave her a sheepish look while he raised his own aura hoping to stabilize his mates only to be smacked in the head “stop that! His fever is making him lucid. He probably thinks you're an enemy! Just lay next to him and scent his neck force him to calm down for you without force” Kaname arched his brow in slight confusion but got on his bed and gently yet slowly pulled Zero into his arms tilting his neck to rub their scent glands together to scent his hunter.
“You three set up the equipment and blood bag while I get my needle ready, Senri I need you to go snap a piece of ginger and slowly lift it to his nose so the scent doesn't overwhelm him”. The noble nodded slowly as he grabbed one of the smaller pieces he had found and moved next to his friend breaking the stick down by Zero's chin before slowly moving it up and waving it under his nose while Kaname took a rag from Yuki who entered the room to dab his sweaty forehead while rubbing his pulse.
Speaking quietly in his mates ear “Zero baby I need you to wake up so I know you're okay” quickly checking his eyes he saw the red was worse from the use of powers and cursed until Mary tap his shoulder “give me your wrist I'm taking a pint from you to directly give to Zero-sama”. Handing her his hand Kaname didn't even flinch as she stuck the needle in calmly keeping his eyes on his mate as his blood was drawn.
Mary hummed as she focused on filling the blood bag before cutting the flow off from the pureblood and pulling the needle out, wiping his wrist clean but letting the spot heal by itself. Switching the needle she held the younger teens arm up and squeezed his arm tightly to show the vein in his arm before sliding the needle in feeling him jerk that she tsked and gestured for Kaname to hold him still “scent him again he's panicking” taking a deep breath because now he was really starting to panic himself Kaname moved his mate had to scent the other side of his gland before moving to Zero's wrist to fully cover him in his scent until the omega stopped trying to move away from Mary who finally got the IV in before pulling the needle back out and taping the tube down as the blood started to flow.
When all the vines died everyone breathed a sigh of relief especially Kaname who kept Zero closer to him and his scent blinking tiredly from the rush of emotions and from being abruptly woken up in the afternoon before he usually got up.
Mary checked his fever and nodded “give him another 30 minutes then we'll try the ginger again the blood bag should be empty by then. As for you Kaname Kuran I should whoop your ass!” Kaname cringed as she was the only one other than his parents he'd let get away with talking to him this way much less in front of others as he frowned.
Mary hissed at him “I told you about going back to old instincts Kaname especially if you think they're wrong they usually are at this time!” he glared at her making her scowl “they don't know do they Kaname does Yuki even know or your cousin?” he bit his lip and shook his head sighing as he ran his fingers through his hair “it is not something I just tell people Mary. The last person who knew used it against me and it is not a trust thing it is more of an irrational fear of them seeing me differently”.
She softened her face at his hesitation to speak of his true being “I would like to start our sessions again Kaname, along with talking to Zero. I would also like you two to come talk to me together as a mates pair and not be divided. Okay” he huffed and glanced away but accepted he would need to start therapy again. “Understood Mary” she sighed as she began setting up the ultrasound machine before explaining why she was.
“So for one I need only family in the room” when none of them left she grunted but kept talking “fine if you all know this is an ultrasound machine. The reason I have one is to check if Zero-sama is carrying off his first heat from almost two weeks ago. I will be able to see the fetus and or fetuses. The reason why is because pureblood pregnancies go by faster than human, hunter or common to noble vampire pregnancies seeing as the fetus develops at a quicker rate due to the blood flowing through a pureblood. Now what I want to know is what your mate was before he started showing signs of changing status to a pureblood Kaname”.
Kaname messed with Zero's hair at his neck and answered “he was a hunter along with a level d vampire and he is or was a twin and his full name is Zero Kiryuu from the Kiryuu hunter clan”. Mary almost slapped her forehead. She had a headache already from dealing with her old charge. “Kaname, how could you not know he was a pureblood”.
The male looked away uncomfortably “none of us knew. Zero only began giving off the aura of one after his omega status was revealed along with his heat. That was the first time I actually felt his aura but I have always been able to scent a darker note to his scent that reminded me of my own powers yet I had no reason to believe Zero would actually be a pureblood. I believe he is from the Hio clan but the scent even though it carries the cherry blossoms in it the smell is very ancient. Personally I do not know much about the Hio family especially back then I was a little preoccupied at the time ruling. I did not keep track of all the major clans unless they opposed my rule”.
Mary could understand that along with Kaien who seemed to be the only other person who was keeping up with their conversation. “Woah woah! What the fuck are you two taking about!” Kaien sighed through his nose as he grabbed his hand “I will explain to you lets go have lunch. The room is getting crowded. Zero will be upset if we're all here when he wakes up”. Yagari rolled his eyes but followed him not without giving all the vampires in the room a pointed glare.
Yuki blinked in confusion as she glanced between Mary and her brother “Kaname, what are you two talking about?” He bit his lip and clenched his jaw “Yuki I'm not really your brother or Senri's cousin well technically I am in a way seeing as I took the life of your true brother as I was awoken by Rido but I am the Kuran ancestor so you two are my descendants. That is it that's the big secret though I believe Takuma was already aware of what I was”.
Takuma made sure to avoid his mates stare as he talked “it wasn't that hard to figure out who he was but really it's because I came across one of his sessions with Mary I didn't stay long but the sentence he used jumped out to me than following your behavior I kinda just connected the pieces”.
“What sentence did you hear Takuma?” At the sharp question from his friend he looked into the purebloods eyes and calmly stated to him “you said a King cursed to watch his own follow his path was truly damning. It didn't really hit what you meant until Rido and how you acted around Yuki but also how you would watch Zero so possessively. You meant how easy it is for certain members of the family and the infatuation which to be honest is a nice word for the obsession you guys seem to have for the people you believe belong to you”.
Kaname laughed deeply at his friend “once again you amaze me with your brilliance my friend. I spoke the truth the only reason I believe Yuki had not followed the cycle is the time she spent as a human and I am thankful for it everyday Senri is also safe from it as he is not a pureblood and his time away from his father truly made it so he would not follow his footsteps”.
Yuki didn't know what to say or feel so she stood to leave feeling Kaname's eyes on her “just like Zero you'll always be my brother but I wish when you turned me you'd finally trust me” then she slammed the door shut. Kaname dropped his hands into his hands in pain “and you Senri?” The noble blinked at his cousin “I knew Rido was in my body I just felt it was not my place to say anything”. Kaname snorted, of course.
Mary listened to the conversation but kept her eyes on Zero picking up another piece of ginger as the blood bag emptied and broke it under his nose the sharp smell making him jerk as his nose scrunched up while Zero's eyes fluttered open and he groaned “what the hell?”
Kaname leaned over his mate to see regular lilac eyes gazing back up at him “you had a fever among other things but I called a female doctor to care for you. I'm glad you have woken baby” he said that at the end to make Zero blush which he did and tried to slap his mouth but the pureblood just caught his hand and kissed the back of it softly “you had me worried were you that fearful of me that you allowed yourself to grow thirsty” Zero basically pouted and looked away “shut up loser. I didn't notice”. Kaname huffed as he chuckled and kissed his hand again. “This is Mary Zero, she will be taking care of you from now on. She would also like to perform an ultrasound on you if you wish to see if you are truly carrying”.
Zero wanted to deny it but he also knew he needed to so he nodded looking at the nobles, mostly Senri who got the message and grabbed his mate's hand dragging Takuma out of the room so they could have privacy “where's Yuki and Cross”. Kaname felt his chest hurt at the look on his sister's face “Cross has gone to eat with Yagari and explain to him what I am and Yuki is quite upset with me right now that I did not trust her enough to let her know who I was to the family I believe I might have just destroyed my relationship with my own sister”.
Zero could already tell the pureblood was trying not to cry so he sucked up his worry for what just happened to him and held the hand that had his tighter “Yuki is the most forgiving person in the world if she can forgive me then she will forgive you. Trust her” Kaname blinked back the tears and rubbed his thumb over Zero's knuckles “yes I believe I will”. Zero shook his head as he rolled his eyes “still talking like a King with me Kaname” the pureblood felt a smile come to his lips as he kissed his mate's hand again “thank you baby”.
Zero felt his eyes twitch but only because he knew he was blushing from the pet name and clicked his tongue looking away to see the woman in the room patiently waiting for them to be finished. She was on the taller side with short black hair and green eyes that were almost hazel in certain lights. She was rather petite for her height but her smile was very nice and she was pale as most vampires were.
When she waved at him he smiled back not getting anything bad from the woman as she came towards him pushing a machine with her and holding some bottle in her hand “hello Zero-sama my name is Mary and I will be your doctor from now on I would also like to talk to you about this whole experience alone and with Kaname if you would want”.
Zero blinked at her. Talk, she wants to talk to me about what happened? What is she a therapist or something? “Uh I guess and call me Zero” at his gruff reply she smiled a little wider “so I need you to lift your shirt so I can place the gel on your lower stomach to see if there is a fetus and or fetuses. The gel is cold by the way” Zero scowled but did as she asked, shivering as she placed it on him and rubbed it with a little wand thing before turning the machine on and focused on the screen while he tried to focus on anything else.
He even looked at the pureblood more than the screen who was looking right back at him but his eyes were calm as he kept his hand. Zero almost hated how much it comforted him as she finally spoke “so I am happy to say despite the situation that you are pregnant Zero and with triplets. Only two share the same amniotic sac while one has its own”.
Zero heard her say it but it wasn't really registering in his brain as he finally looked at the screen to see the three small blobs they already looked like they were forming their bodies and he stared at them unblinkingly until his eyes burned and he was forced to only to go right back to staring silently leaving Kaname worried that he may have just broken his mate with getting him pregnant “Kaname..”
“Yes Zero what is it?” Zero looked up and glared at him with dark eyes “I swear to god if any of them come out looking like you your dick is gone!” The pureblood gulped he knew he had some pretty strong genes but he nodded anyway “I am sure all three will look just like you baby” Zero watched his face and didn't believe him for a second remembering how his crazy ass uncle looked just like him with two different eye colors. “Bitch you dare lie! I bet everyone of your kids looked like you!” Kaname gave a confused look “kids I assure you I only had one for the purpose of starting my line” Zero felt his eyes water as he sniffed “you stupid fucking cheater”.
Kaname just kissed his forehead “I apologize that this hurts you the woman I had my son with I did not love but I did treasure him before I went to sleep. I am sure he has passed. I did not feel his presence at my awakening or as I aged”. Well now he felt bad for saying that as he sadly mumbled his own apology “sorry that was insensitive of me”. Kaname shook his head and kissed him again “it was not. I could not imagine you having a child with another. Even the thought hurts your emotions are valid” as they talked Mary made herself busy by cleaning his stomach and printing a picture for them before packing up.
“So I am going to retire for the night please come get me if another spike happens also I want him to take blood every five to six hours and no more than three full mouth gulps you shouldn't give him too much of your blood it would probably accelerate the growth of the fetuses and they could be born not fully developed. I also recommend Zero move here if this is not where he stays to keep his new omega from dropping and I also suggest we start our sessions as soon as possible. This dynamic of your relationship is not healthy for any of you and the children do not need to be born into”.
Seeing the hurt in the omegas eyes she calmly added “you have 2 months at most before you give birth Zero: you are already two weeks in your first month which to a vampire is the first trimester. You are of average height a little tall for an omega so I believe you can have a natural birth instead of a cesarean or c-section which I generally prefer for vampires and the loss of blood and the healing rate. Do not over indulge in eating either that is probably why you are vomiting and do not just eat your craving you need a balanced meal also I will pick up some omega vitamins for you to balance your hormones. Hopefully that will keep your violent mood swings at bay so you do not release your aura to harm or your powers that understand Zero and Kaname”.
They both nodded making her smile again and bow before leaving the room but not without parting words “I will speak to the princess on your behalf” then she closed the door softly leaving them alone.
Zero moved to sit up letting the pureblood help him as he lifted his shirt wanting to see if there was already a bump and sure enough there was a small one on his lower stomach making him blanch “how the fuck did I not notice this!?” Kaname shrugged as he cautiously placed his own large hand on the small bump to feel it was somewhat hard “ah what a pleasant feeling I feel warm” Zero looked up at his soft expression and had to look away from the beautiful sight lest he give in faster but he could still feel his heart sped up as he blushed “are you really that happy about this”.
Kaname pursed his lips as he thought of an answer “I am happy about the pregnancy yes and you being my mate also but as I said yesterday I do regret the way I came to mate you and how it has effected you but I do love you and them Zero please don't doubt that” puffing out his cheeks in annoyance at the sweet reply he pouted and pushed the pureblood away making demands “go find me something healthy to eat. I know you have fucking cooks you rich bastards”.
He snorted but removed himself from the bed to go put in a request for food for his mate “as you wish my queen” Zero flushed more and threw a pillow at the pureblood who just opened the door and left “stupid prick!” After his shout Zero replaced his hands on his stomach and smiled softly “why are you making it hard to hate you Kaname when you say sweet things to me like that”.

The hell actually was this but whatever I needed Mary in here i wanted them all to know who Kaname was. Blah blah it's over with now fuck it. I bullshit this chapter. I mean not the therapy part as someone who takes it i personally think it works. I also dont know if I should say this but again fuck it. Good night people or good day and thank you for your support but this chapter is total bullshit 😅
