It’s unusual, Cecilia knows, for a woman like Amanda to like her enough to stay, despite carving her open. In the end Cecilia knows that this is worth it. Amanda’s tongue and lips press to open wounds, almost as if the girl is drinking her blood.
They stay that way for a while, Amanda licking trails of blood from the wounds, Cecilia finally finding peace in someone who understood her, even all the way to cravings like this, a need to be repaid for the pain she’s caused, but also rewarded for taking it. It’s an uneasy bond, but for them it works.
