Chapter 1: Slow Awakening

Chapter Text

Ochako’s tongue went dry, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling, Toga in her arms. Oh fuck, what happened? How did she get here? She went to sit up and move away from the confused villain, but Himiko hugged her tighter.

“Ocha-kun~ stay longer,” the blonde cooed with a giggle, pressing her face further into Ochako’s chest.

Ochako felt the heat rise to her cheeks, her arms holding Toga closer. Ocha-kun? Oh... oh! Yesterday, she ran away from UA to come here! To see Toga! What will her teachers think?! Will they think she defected over? She hadn’t! She- she was a child, and Himi-chan- er, Toga sounded like she needed a friend, that she wanted to be friends with Ochako! And how come none of the teachers stopped her?! Should she be using her architectural knowledge more in training? If she even gets to go back to school! First, what happened with Izuku, and now this?! They’re going to think she’s the spy, but she’s not, and-

Ochako’s thoughts halted when she smelled a calming vanilla scent from the blonde snuggled against her.

“Shhhh Ocha-kun, it’s okay, I’m here and I’ll keep you safe,” Toga cooed, giggling softly.

“Toga! What are you doing, snuggling the enemy!?” “You go, girl!” “We should kill her on the spot!” Twice ran through his ticks, his thumbs up and face smiling even as he threatened to murder Ochako.

“She’s my friend, she came by to check in on me, isn’t she so sweet? She’s mine.” Toga leaned up and bit into Ochako’s shoulders, making the alpha stiffen. She glanced at Toga, realizing the omega was so close to her glands.

Ochako jumped up, pulling away a bit. “R-right, um, right Toga-”

Toga pouted, “You were calling me Himi-chan, no take backs. Don’t you remember? I know you were little... but...” The blonde let Ochako go, looking up to Ochako with pleading sunlit eyes.

Ochako felt heat rise to her cheeks, this close she could see the flower-like petals in Toga’s eyes, they were a soft brown... it matched Ochako’s hair. And the golden yellow of her eyes reminded Ochako of sunlight and flowers. Toga’s hair was extra messy in her sleepy state, buns lopsided, not having been taken out the night before. Her mascara was a bit smudged, and her face looked a little flushed, though the color was fading the longer Ochako spent counting the specks of starlit gold in Toga’s pouty eyes.

“Ocha-kun?”

“Wha- oh, um, r-right, no I remember, its ah, it’s very fuzzy, but it’s coming back the longer I’m awake. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to hurt you, To- ah, Himi-chan.” Ochako’s gaze dropped, her ears and cheeks burned and she could smell her own bubblegum scent spiking with the memories and the closeness of the blonde.

Toga’s pout eased into a blinding bright smile. It was so pure, it reminded Ochako of Izuku’s bright smiles, the ones he used to give her freely before...

“I’m glad Ocha-kun! See, Twice, she’s all mine, now leave us alone.” Toga scowled at the older man.

“Breakfast is ready, though! There’s plenty for everyone!” “We’re not feeding hero scum, we should bring her to Shigaraki!” “Make sure to wash your hands on your way to breakfast!” Twice smiled behind the mask, drawing up the whites of the eyes before turning and leaving the room.

“Ah....” Ochako blinked, a bit dumb founded before she was being snuggle attacked by a Toga.

“I’m so happy you came last night! What do you think of my nest? I wish you could have seen it at the bar! Oh! But I’ll make it even better for you, I’m so happy you’re in my nest Ocha-kun, come on, let's get dressed. Hehe, as much as I love seeing your body, I don’t really think you want all those guys seeing it.” Toga cooed, her face pressing into Ochako’s chest.

Without the thin blankets covering her, she realized her assets were too much for the material of the nighty that Momo made her when the quirk first hit them. She blushed, feeling Toga’s cheeks brushing on the skin of her chest.

“A-ah, right! Um, do you have anything in my size?” Ochako asked, her hands up. She felt awkward and unsure; her blush was deepening as Toga started purring against her.

“Hmm? Well, I’m a bit flatter than you, but I’ll whip up something- oh! You smell so sweet, I want just a taste, just a little.” Toga whimpered, pressing forward.

Ochako was confused before she felt the fangs at her neck. Suddenly Toga was pushed away, floating, with the pillows and blankets floating around Ochako. The brunette’s cheeks and neck were flushed, and there was a bit of blood trailing down her neck where the fangs broke skin.

“T-toga!” Ochako gasped, “You can’t just go and bite people, that’s not okay!”

“Awww, but you taste and smell so good, like a cute Chapstick, or pastels. I want to show you how much I love you, I want to be you!” Toga cooed. “You and that cute frog girl, Tsu, wasn't it?” Toga’s cheeks grew rosier as she cooed, thinking about Tsu, spinning in her weightless state.

Ochako swallowed. She could smell the slick, sweet vanilla that was dripping like ice cream. She looked away. “You still need to ask. Besides, I haven’t eaten. What would you do if you killed me?”

That seemed to snap Toga out of her daze, golden eyes locking on Ochako in surprise. “I... I don’t want to kill you.” Her voice was softer, her purrs cut out. “I... I just want to be you. I’m sorry, I didn’t think about that, Ocha-kun. Please forgive me? I’m so thirsty, we haven’t been able to get any kind of blood for me, you know? Even before our hideout was hurt. But I’ll behave, I promise, so please? Let me snuggle a-and we can get some blood so I don’t.” Toga licked her lips, her eyes going to the trail of blood on Ochako’s neck. “So I don’t attack you again.”

Ochako blinked. Toga was hungry- she looked concerningly pale now that Ochako was looking at her. Did she need blood for her quirk? Like, to live? It wouldn’t be too far of a stretch... poor girl....

Ochako brought her hands together. “Release...” She commanded, opening her arms and catching Toga. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize... I... It’s just not something I would have thought of. You... if you need blood, you can have some of mine. It’s okay. Just, don’t let them hurt me, okay?”

Toga’s face took on a childlike innocence of wonder. “Really? It’s okay?”

“Y-yeah. Um.. just, be gentle please?” Ochako asked.

Toga’s face lit up, and then she was leaning in, her tongue swiping the space, leaving a tingling sensation. Ochako didn’t feel the bite at first, not until she felt her fluids being drawn in through the mark on her neck, above where her mate would mark her in the future. Ochako had a wandering thought of how her blood would taste, passing through the mating gland to the little omega purring against her. Her thoughts were growing a bit sluggish, and she felt herself going dizzy. Was she going to die from being a human cappri sun for Toga?

Toga’s tongue lapped the area of her skin before the blonde was sitting back. Her fangs stained red as her tongue worked to clean up the traces of the dark substance from her lips. Ochako gave a weak smile in return before promptly passing out.

Chapter 2: Who is the traitor?

Chapter Text

“If you had a spy at UA, you should have told me Dabi!”

“Well, it didn’t come up. Besides, I couldn’t blow her cover; use your head. If you knew she was working for us, you might have treated her differently.”

“No. You’re just trying to protect Toga’s juice box.”

“Hey guys, I think we should kill her.”

“No one asked you, Spinner.” “He’s right, off with her head!” “I don’t want Toga to cry.”

“She’s so pretty and nice, Shiggy don’t be mad we didn’t tell you!” Ochako knew that voice, soft and sweet... Toga.

Ochako had been having vanilla scented dreams that would have stirred her into a rut if she wasn’t careful. She winced mentally as she sat up, feeling clothes that smelled like flame, ash, and burnt skin pressed on her body. The smell of booze and tactile mold clung to the roof of her mouth. She realized she was sleeping on the source, a couch. Ochako groaned- she’d tried not to but it came out anyway. The occupants in the room turned to her.

Toga was perched by Ochako’s feet, a knife in hand as she defended Ochako. Ochako really had no doubt Toga would stab anyone here to protect her.

Dabi and Shigaraki were in the center of the room, Shigaraki in Dabi’s space. Without the hand on his face, Shigaraki looked like he’d probably be cute with some lotion and skin treatments. Spinner was on Shigaraki’s side, glaring at Ochako, while twice was between the girls on the couch and the men in their dispute. Kurogiri was cooking something in the back corner, Compress and Magne watching the spat with a bit of concern.

Ochako sat up, drawing a blanket to her chest, before realizing what the blanket really was. She was in clothes that had to be Dabi’s, there were scorch marks burnt into them, and his signature stapled coat was clutched in her hands as her blanket.

“Let’s settle this, I’m going to find a ‘good’ reason to dust her, because there is no way she’s been spying for us and you haven’t said shit.” Shigaraki snarled, going to make his way to the couch.

Toga bore her fangs in a hiss, raising the blade. “You can talk to her from there. Leave her alone. She’s mine! She’s my mate, she’s my friend, I’m not going to let you hurt her. Not when she’s helped so much.”

Are they saying Ochako was the UA traitor? She- she would know if she was... right? Like... she wasn’t that forgetful and she didn’t think she’d been under any brain washing quirks....

“Twice, get out of my way, I’m going to dust the bitch. Dabi, let me go, I am your leader, and I’m not afraid of dusting you too!” Shigaraki snarled, trying to get to Ochako, Dabi holding him back.

“Uraraka, tell Shiggy, tell him you’re a spy for us!” Toga’s yellow eyes turned to Ochako.

She blinked, she couldn’t deny that look, Toga’s face of panic and worry twisted something in Ochako. “I-I am a t-traitor” Ochako lied.

Shigaraki froze, his eyes narrowing on her. “Oh?”

“Y-yes, um, I, ah, I mean, the heroes they um, and society it’s ah, well it lets people like my parents fall through the cracks- who are really hard working! They go without food sometimes, you know? Yeah, and um, D-dabi’s b-been paying me for information, um, right? Ah. I, I mean, if you look at my school record, you’ll see it’s not clean! I just, um, I don’t s-see why ah... why heroes get to make so much when the real working class can barely get by!”

Ochako swallowed, she was convincing herself more than anything.

“Okay....” Shigaraki narrowed his eyes. “Then what are you here to tell us?” He jerked out of Dabi’s hold, his hand going to his neck to scratch at the skin.

“W-well, um, s-some of the UA s-students had t-turned into children, I was letting him k-know that they found a way to reverse it... w-we were going to try and lure the students away from the school, so, if you wanted, you could h-have them. Um... but they’re all big again.” Ochako decided to give out something that wouldn’t hurt her friends. She just needed to survive.

“Oh really?” Shigaraki asked, glancing at Dabi.

Dabi put his hands up. “Hey, you’ve been having me do more patrols. I wasn’t sure what all I could do in such a short time. They weren’t small for long if they’re already big again. And The fucking heroes were chasing Toga and me down earlier.”

Shigaraki narrowed his eyes. “Still. I am the boss, I need to know. Taking out the pawns is key to getting to the boss level for the heroes. You seem to think you can stand in my way on that front.”

Dabi put up his hands. “Hey, that’s not at all what I think. I just didn’t think it was worth your time. My bad.”

“Ocha-kun needs food. Can I get her fed now? She’s one of us.” Toga asked, baring her fangs. It wasn’t much of a request.

Shigaraki’s red eyes fell on Ochako, whose heart beat quickened. “Fine. Feed the traitor. And then when she’s all fed, she’s going to talk to Sensei’s friend. I want to ensure she’s not lying.”

“Fine.” Toga agreed.

Toga tugged Ochako up and went over to Kurogiri, getting a bento from the misty quirk user before tugging Ochako out from the base, into the fresh air. Ochako only realized how nose blind she’d been to the musty scent of the base when she breathed in the crisp morning air.

“Thank you-”

“Shhh,” Toga smiled back at Ochako, and suddenly the alpha felt like she was something precious. “Not yet, we’re too close.”

Ochako nodded, biting her lip before letting Toga lead her. They went a ways away from the base before getting to a little overgrown park. Toga tugged Ochako to a painted pipe that was just big enough for them to sit inside. Once they were in there, she offered the meal to Ochako.

“Here, Kurogiri wouldn’t do anything to it. You should eat and run, though. He’s going to find out you’re not really a traitor.”

Ochako blinked, taking the bento and opening it up to be greeted with chicken and eggs, the bottom portion having cut apples and carrots. “Oh, this is so cute. He made this for me?”

“Yeah, Kurogiri’s so sweet.” Toga grinned happily. She tucked her knees to her chest, resting her cheek on them so she was looking at Ochako.

Ochako ate a few greedy bites before registering fully what Toga had said. “I can’t leave you to stay with them! They’ll kill you and Dabi if they find out what you two did for me! Besides, I can’t let Dabi die! Is he really Shoto’s brother? Oh, but I can’t be a spy, I-I mean, I’ve done some... awful things, but I don’t want to betray my friends!”

“Mmm no, it’s best if you go back, Ocha-kun. Don’t worry about Dabi and me. We’ll be okay. We made it just us before, we can do it again.” Toga cooed.

“No, he’s- Shigaraki is going to kill you!” Ochako exclaimed. “He’s not going to accept your betrayal with grace-”

Ochako was suddenly covering her food as something wrapped around her and dragged her from the tunnel, red eyes and floating black hair greeting her from the mouth of the tunnel.

“Aziawa sensei!”

“Uraraka, do you know how worried I’ve been?” he growled

“Don’t hurt her!” There was a hiss as Toga lunged from the other side of the pipe at Aizawa. The pro hero restraining her quicker than what normally would be possible.

“Himi-chan!” Ochako cried out. “He’s not going to hurt me! Honest!”

Toga wasn’t listening. She struggled in the binds, glaring at Aizawa, before her body started to liquify, the blonde snaking out of the binding cloth, lunging again. It didn’t last, Aizawa’s eyes glowing red, forcing Toga’s body solid with a fierce snarl.

“I’m not letting you hurt Ocha-kun! She didn’t do anything wrong!” Toga snapped.

“No. I would think she hasn’t.” Aizawa sighed, looking rather tired.

Toga eyed him with suspicion, but he ignored her, his voice drawing Ochako’s attention. “Kid, you know you’ve been missing all night, right?”

“I... um, I’m sorry Aizawa sensei, I... my younger self just... really took to Toga.” Ochako looked down, biting her bottom lip.

“I know. I’ve gathered as much. Which we will talk about when you had the time to even meet her when you were younger. But Uraraka, you have your phone. A text or something so we knew you were okay would have helped.” Aizawa noted, finally taking his gaze off Toga in order to give Ochako a look over.

“R-right” Ochako nodded, “I’m sorry, it’s been....”

“Shiggy wants to kill her, she was busy!” Toga hissed.

“Shigaraki?” Aizawa asked. He scrubbed his face. “Alright, why don’t we get a coffee. I know a place for mixed crowds. No one will bat an eye seeing our group together.”

“You-you’re not going to arrest Himi-chan, are you?” Ochako asked, her voice quivering with the badly restrained worry.

“No. Should I?” Aizawa asked. “It looks like she looked after you when you were vulnerable. She did attack you and Tsuyu at the training camp, but if you don’t wish to keep the charges, then the only thing against her was a murder based on hearsay. Not to say there wouldn’t be consequences, but I don’t have to report her in to the police. I’m willing to hear you both out.”

Ochako breathed a sigh of relief. “Thank you, Aizawa sensei.”

“Don’t thank me yet. Come on, let's get out of the open.” Aizawa nodded.

Ochako took Toga’s hand. The blonde looked at Ochako, weary, but nodding and pressing to her side. Ochako held her close, protective. The two girls tailed the underground hero all the way to a little underground dive bar, where heroes and villains were labels left at the doorstep.

Chapter 3: Courtship

Chapter Text

News of Izuku Aizawa being an omega had spread. It was unavoidable after the attack, the news anchors used it to dramatize the story more. Some noted All Might’s final efforts in saving a defenseless omega, others focusing on potential love in UA, while others used Izuku’s status as an omega to push the narrative he was the traitor. At least they tried to push that narrative until Nezu shut it down.

Either way, there was no way Endeavor, a hero on scene during the attacks and rescue, had missed it. Endeavor, who’d just lost custody of his son and wanted so badly to grab at any ounce of control he could, sat back thinking.

Shoto would be that age soon. He would need a mate. A strong mate. And omegan heroes were rare. Enji wondered why Ereaserhead would allow his omegan pup to be a hero. He knew the risks, the challenges. So why put his pup out there? Why put a useless omega on the front lines? Except...

Except Izuku wasn’t useless, he had an alpha’s quirk. A quirk he didn’t deserve. But one that he could pass on. One that Shoto’s children could use. Yes, Endeavor could see it now. His grandchildren with fire, ice, and superstrength. Even if a bad combo came of it, such as in his late son Touya, there would still be a counterbalance. That was what he’d been missing before. And Izuku had the added bonus of having a quirk like All Might's. The quirk seemed more adaptive, which only made it that more wanted.

Yes.

Enji would arrange for Izuku Aizawa and Shoto Todoroki to be mates. His son would thank him for this, he was sure. Not only would they have strong pups, but the omega’s mute properties meant he wouldn’t be able to question Enji’s training on the pups. A quirk suppressant collar and some training, and he’d have the omega more loyal to him than his own mate. He’d be sure of it.

There was only one issue. Shota Aizawa. The boy’s legal owner. Enji called for his Lawyer and had them draft a letter to one Shota Aizawa.

Dear Eraserhead,

It has come to my attention that your son, Izuku Aizawa, is an omega. Not only that, but he is close to an age where finding a suitable mate should be on your mind.

Now that his presentation has been broadcasted to the whole nation, let me be the first to ask for his betrothal to my youngest, Shoto Todorok. Shoto is a strong Alpha, of equal strength to your pup. He would protect him.

I would like to discuss this matter in more detail. After speaking to the hospital staff, it seems Izuku’s heat will be going on for the duration of the week. I propose in 3 weeks, we gather to better discuss the boys’ futures on this matter. I think it would be best if both boys could bring a companion to help them adjust to this situation. I have also listed a dowery for your family should you accept this proposal. Think very carefully about this offer, it’s a very generous offer and he would be marrying into a very prestigious family. Your child would want for nothing, and it would be best to settle this matter before anyone gets it in their minds that their spawn is worthy of your child. Shoto is. You’ve seen him in class; you’ve seen his strength.

I look forward to seeing you and Izuku. The time and place have been put on my business card.

Sincerely,

Enji Todoroki

Endeavor

On the back of the letter was the listed amount for a dowry. Endeavor felt it was worth far more than was deserved of Izuku. But Shota Aizawa wouldn’t see it that way. Izuku was the only omega to the alpha’s family; he would be prized. It was an instinct.

He sent the letter to his lawyer before having them mail it out.

He had to ensure Shoto would have powerful offspring, since Shoto refused to take up his legacy, and now he wouldn’t be able to defeat All Might. Well, he’d take All Might’s successor and turn the boy into the broodmare he really should be. A battlefield is no place for an omega.

Chapter 4: Just a chat

Chapter Text

Transmissions begin. One conference request by Shigaraki Akio, AKA All for One. Person(s) requested, Midoriya Hisashi, AKA Dragon. The request had been denied three times before being granted under special conditions.

1. Both parties would be separated by the barrier glass. Both parties were to be restrained to their seats, and both parties were to have quirk-canceling cuffs on.

  1. There is to be an officer per room present
  2. The conversation would be recorded via video, audio, and transcript (See transcript as attached.)
  3. Dragon is not to interact with any others for 24 hours before their conversation and 24 hours after.
  4. No technology would be allowed in the room
  5. No food or water or drink would be permitted.
  6. The requested conference would last no more than 20 minutes.

The following transcript is what transpired.

    Transcriber - Junichiro Itto

Date - 08/31/XXXX

Location - Twin Cell conference room/interrogation room - Tartarus

In attendance - Midoriya Hisashi, Shigaraki Akio, Officer Tamaki Sasuke, Officer Hanabira Kikku.

Recording start 22:00

22:00 Tamaki: Sit down, Midoriya. Your time starts now.

22:00 Midoriya: Get your hands off me

22:01 Midoriya: What did you call this meeting for, All for One? I’m still pissed at you. I asked for help against those heroes, you did nothing but sit by and watch, fucker.

22:02 Shigaraki: Did I? Well. Perhaps I had more pressing matters.

22:02 Midoriya: You fucking bastard!

[Midoriya is forced back by the officer and given leg restraints.]

22:06 Shigaraki: I didn’t call this meeting for you to waste time, Hisashi. I’ve come to chat about your son. What a clever little thing he is.

22:06 Midoriya: Oh?

22:06 Shigaraki: Yes, clever, fierce, determined. A blank slate if you will. He’s not so blank anymore. Seems he thinks he can be a hero.

22:07 Midoriya: [snickers] He’s a tiny little omega. What kind of hero would he be?

22:07 Shigaraki: I wondered, but he has resolve and strength. Pity I wasn’t given more time with him, I’m sure if I bred him, he’d become more mellowed out. Omegas are so simple after all. Not that I would advise underestimating your son. He held clarity even under the knife.

22:08 Midoriya: Ungrateful little brat, but why bring him up? You failed to kill him.

22:08 Shigaraki: You want him dead?

22:08 Midoriya: Of course I do! That little shit stain, he cost us so much, he led the heroes right to us! I don’t know how, but I know it was him!

22:09 Hanabira: If you can’t calm down, we’ll have to stop this early. I will not permit you to talk about murdering a minor.

22:09 Hanabira: Or murder in general.

[Silence falls for a moment.]
22:12 Shigaraki: You should write to your son. It’s important for a boy to have a father. Though All Might does seem rather attached. An Omega can hardly be a proper father though.

22:13 Midoriya: All Might is an omega? How do you know that?

22:13 Shigaraki: How indeed. Well, it’s ill-advised to strike an alpha in rut. Though he left his own scars on my body, it seems. I debated showing his mentee what I’ve done to his precious All Might, but that, I’ll save for later.

22:13 Midoriya: Oh? Interesting. Fine, I’ll write the brat. But I hope you know these assholes might not even be willing to send it to him.

22:14 Shigaraki: Perhaps not. Still, I recommend writing them, let the boy know your feelings on the matter, and his true worth.

22:14 Tamaki: What are you plotting? You’re trying to make us complicit in this ploy of yours on some kid??

22:14 Shigaraki: Am I truely so cruel? Recommending a father reach out to his son? It’s moments like these, I wonder, who the real villains are.

22:15 Tamaki: tsk. All Might and the commission are going to hear of this. So waste your ink, we’ll hold those letters if you try sending them.

[Shigaraki seems amused that he got under Tamaki’s skin. Tamaki is showing signs of distress.]

22:15 Hanabira: I think you two are done. This has been a waste of time.

22:16 Shigaraki: No, we have 4 minutes and, oh, 3 minutes and 55 seconds. I plan to use them before I have to wait for All Might to wish to speak with me.

22:16 Hanabira: No more talking about the kid.

22:16 Shigaraki: As you wish. Hisashi, how is Inko doing? Do you write her?

[Hisashi snorts at this.]

22:17 Hisashi: That Bitch? No.

22:17 Hisashi: No, she’s in some mental institute; she won’t talk to anyone. One of the charges I was found guilty of was driving her to insanity. Can you fucking believe that? Little bitch was insane on her own. If she wanted out, she could have kept playing fucking house with the Bakugous. How is Mitsuki?

[Shigaraki smirks. It chills the air.]

22:18 Shigaraki: She’s not up for strolls yet. But the good doctor will take care of her, I’m sure of it. My associates are equipped to aid her. It’s a shame, all of those bruns, how lucky we could save the quirk.

22:18 Hanabira: What did you need with her quirk?

22:18 Shigaraki: Now, if I told you that, it would ruin the game. You’ll have to hope your heroes are able to find that information, now, won’t you?

22:18 Tamaki: Or what?!

22:19 Shigaraki: You two are cutting into my time to catch up with an old friend. That’s rather rude, don’t you think?

22:19 Tamaki: Listen here, you fucker-

22:19 Midoriya: Speaking of Kids. Nana’s?

[Both officers visibly shiver at the grin that splits Shigaraki’s face. If he weren’t wearing quirk suppressants, it would be fair to say he had a quirk to split open his face.]

22:20 Shigaraki: He will bring forth the dream and help me get my brother back.

22:20 Hanabira: You two are done. Tamaki, get Midoriya out of here. Someone get the wheel team to get Shigaraki back to his cell!

Transmission end 22:21

Chapter 5: Not a traitor

Chapter Text

Shota had brought the girls to an underground cafe. Villains, underground heroes, and the homeless drank and sat together here. He wasn’t very eager about bringing two high school girls here, but Toga wouldn’t get any trouble here. Toga had Uraraka sit on the inside of their booth after a guy was eyeing them up and down. She bared her fangs at him, only calming when Uraraka drew her attention.

“Himi-chan, please, we need to let Aizawa sensei know what’s going on.” Uraraka pleaded.

Toga glanced at her before looking back at the teacher who definitely needed a raise. Shota ran a hand over his face before rubbing his temples.

“Okay, so, what is going on? I understand that you, Uraraka, decided to see Toga as a child. Which, if you’re turn into a child ever again, we will be putting a leash on you,” Shota warned.

Uraraka flushed. “Y-yes, sensei. Um... well... Shoto and I, we were at the park with Midnight Sensei and her family... I remember that. And Denki, I think, his quirk started acting up... well, Shoto saw Dabi? I think? In the woods, so he went after him. The adults and everyone were trying to help with the situation with Denki, so we were able to slip away. Um.. Dabi and Himi-chan talked to us, but they let us go. I guess that’s what caught my attention? Ah... I, they let us go, and little me loved how um... energetic Himi-chan is so... yeah”

Shota nodded before glancing at Toga, “What were you and Dabi doing near a park like that?”

“Oh! We were looking for food, and we were talking about the league,” Toga answered, getting a reassuring nod from Uraraka.

“Talking about what?” Shota asked.

“Well, neither of us likes how they treated Izu-kun. He was already so pretty with blood, and then I think they made it worse. Not only that, but I don’t think they let him nest. He was fighting against us, sure, but like, Dabi and I didn’t like that they were using him for experiments.” Toga was twirling a butter knife as she chatted, a nervous tick.

Shota turned the recorder built into his costume on.

“So you and Dabi disagree, but you trust one another?”

“Oh, yes! Dabi was protecting me before the league, like, he’s like my older brother, it’s sooo cute.” Toga cooed. “But Dabi didn’t like Shigaraki to begin with. We just needed a place to stay. And I thought Stainy was there. I really wanted to make Stainy bleed.” Toga drooled a bit dreamily.

“Why? Why did you think Izuku was... pretty with blood?” Shota asked.

“Hmm?” Toga tilted her head, glancing at Shota. “Well... I’m really drawn to blood, and I want to drink the blood of those I like, so I can be them! I just... It’s like an impulse? I just want a little! I promise, I don't want to kill anyone, otherwise I can’t see them anymore! And they won’t make blood anymore... but I really want the blood of my favorites. Like Ocha-kun, and Izu, and Dabi,” Toga giggled, high and girly as she squirmed.

“It seems to be a way to express she likes someone, Sensei. And she needs to drink blood to survive. She drank quite a bit of mine earlier,” Uraraka shared with a blush.

“You let her drink your blood?” Shota asked. He needed it to be clear.

“Y-yes, sensei... she was hungry, and I was picking up that she’s not able to control herself if she’s being driven by blood lust.” Uraraka nodded in confirmation.

“I see. Toga, is that accurate to your experience?”

“Yes! When I get hungry, everything gets hazy except for the smell of blood. I was keeping some on hand at the bar to try and help, like pig’s blood, but now we don’t have a fridge...” Toga sighed.

“Toga, that boy you attacked in middle school, did you like him?” Shota asked.

Toga went quiet for a moment. She pressed into Uraraka’s side. “I did...” Her bubbly smile faded out. “I... wanted him to ask me to the dance.” She laughed- it wasn’t light, it was a bit more bitter. “But... kids saw my fangs and my eyes and... I don’t know. They didn’t like my smile. They would bully me. Some of them caught me getting blood from a kitty.”

Uraraka shifted, wiping away the tears on Toga’s face gently.

“I didn’t want to hurt the kitty, I never did, but I, the thrust burned so much, and I tried so hard to be a good girl for my mom and dad! I really- really did” Her voice broke. “That boy, I... I think I loved him. I felt about him how I feel about Ocha-kun. I wanted to be him. But he screamed and ran... and the police were after me. People said I killed him- but I didn’t! I swear!”

“Shhh, we’re not saying you killed him” Uraraka soothed, gentle. She brushed back Toga’s hair, kissing the top of her forehead. “It’s okay, Himi-chan, you’re okay now.”

“I think I freak out some of the league members too, not that they would say it. But I don’t have anywhere to go. So... I stay with Shiggy, and help him with his master plan.”

Shota nodded, “Have you committed a crime Toga? I’m not talking about the training camp, outside of that, have you done anything?”

Toga blinked and thought about it. “I stole food, and some clothes. Oh, I had to steal pocket change, getting animal blood is hard, so I would steal funds or use someone’s blood to disguise myself and get the blood myself. I mean, I took a little of their blood, but I would have taken more and less discreetly if I didn’t get the animal blood you know?” Toga asked.

“Right” Shota nodded in agreement. Petty crime at best, this girl, even thinking back to it. The land the training camp was on was a reserve, people still could come and go, heroes did, heroes in training. It wasn’t like toga had broken into anywhere. It was the fucking woods. Which meant the only real crime Toga had, on record, was assaulting the students. Namely Uraraka and Tsuyu. Uraraka would drop those charges, Shota just had a feeling. So he would talk to Tsu, and of course if she wished to press charges, Shota would support her. His students do deserve peace, Toga had attacked them after all. But this teenager here, if given the right tools and resources, she wouldn’t have had to go into villainy. It was sad that for a lot of people, that was the case. They needed kindness and understanding, not screams and pain.

“Toga, did you ever go into quirk therapy or anything to have an analysis look over your quirk?” Shota asked.

Toga hummed in thought. She nuzzled Uraraka’s chest, the alpha holding Toga close now.

“No, there was a school counselor who was supposed to look us over when we were 4, but my smile creeped her out, so she kept putting off my counseling. And it was marked I had the fangs, but that was about it on my quirk file. It wasn’t until that boy did I even knew I could change form.” Toga mused.

“I see...” Shota let out a slow breath. “I think you should come back to UA with us. Nezu has always wanted to do a villain rehab program. Toga, I think you would fit in the program.”

“No, thank you.” Toga smiled, pressing her eyes up, giving her a little derpy face. Uraraka startled at the answer as much as Shota did.

“What?”

“I can’t leave the league. I don’t want Dabi to get in trouble... so I can’t leave. They would kill him if I left. Shiggy is already upset at me for Ocha-kun. If I don’t go back, he’ll kill Dabi. Or Magne, or even Twice. They look out for me.”

“Kid, I can’t let you go back.” Shota tried.

“But I don’t want them to die,” Toga pressed closer into Uraraka.

“Sensei?” Uraraka’s voice wavered. “Um, I really don’t think she should leave the league. Not yet, at least- because you will leave the league. You don’t even have a proper nest, Himi-chan! But ah... we can get information from her, and Shigraraki just lost All for One... won’t he be a bit unhinged?”

Shota narrowed his eyes. “We can deal with it. It’s not your responsibility to take care of adults, Toga. I can help you, and you’d be able to stay with Uraraka. Who will be going back with me.” Shota sent the young alpha a glare. She smiled, sheepishly.

“I want to stay with Himi-chan, she needs me.”

“No, you should go back with your teacher.” Toga shook her head. she turned to look into Uraraka’s eyes. “Shiggy already doesn’t like you, and in order to make him like you, you would have to turn a traitor to your friends. I won’t ask that of you.”

“What about you!” Uraraka’s eyes were wide. “If you go back without me, he’s going to know-”

“I’ll let him know that we ran into Shota. That you had to go to keep your cover, and I slipped away.” Toga shrugged. “he still thinks you're a mole. So... we’ll keep that up.”

Shota raised his eyebrow to Uraraka.

“I’m not sensei! I just, he saw me at the base, little me wasn’t sneaky and Himi-chan thought quickly to save me. He was going to turn me into dust.”

“I suppose. “ Shota groaned before looking back at Toga. “Is there anything else you can tell us?”

Toga hummed. “Shiggy is stressed, like, really stressed since they took his sensei. He seems lost, you know? It’s not like he told us his plans before, but I don’t think he knows what to do without his sensei, or he’s thinking about it.”

Shota nodded. “Good to know. Thank you. Alright. I want you to know, it goes against everything, sending you back there, being under cover is... It’s not work for a kid. We’ll look at options for getting you out that won’t make Shigaraki kill your friends.” Shota needed a raise.

“For now, why don’t I order you two something to drink? We’ll take a moment, and then, Toga, it’s probably best you get back to the league. And Toga, make my job easier, don’t commit any crimes.”

“Yes, sir!” Toga giggled, and Uraraka looked at her with fondness.

Teenagers, what could Shota do?

Chapter Text

Izuku was packing up the items from the hospital room. He was so glad to be done- hell, he was glad to be allowed to walk. He was still sore, and they still had him on nutrition shakes to make up for him abusing the heat suppressants. He’d been scolded by doctors and family alike. Izuku couldn’t find a moment alone either; Kaachan had not left Izuku since he woke up. The blonde wasn’t in there now because their papa could sense Izuku needed the space.

He felt his body sigh as he tucked another stuffed animal into the bag he had. His class had flooded his room with stuffed animals, blankets, and bits of clothing. Omegan things. Chocolates and sweets and fruits, get well cards.

He appreciated his friends! Don’t get Izuku wrong, he and Toshi tore into those chocolates, and he would be using a lot of this stuff in his dorm room- because apparently that was a thing. He was happy he wouldn’t have to tear down his nest at home now. But, Tsuyu, Kendo, Kaachan, there were so many of their classmates who were in the hospital. And while he was sure their classmates gave cards and gifts, it wasn’t... There was no way it was on the same degree. He felt... outted? All because they knew now. They all knew what his second gender was. He cried into his papa’s chest about it, rambling silently and letting it out. One of the reasons he was glad no one could hear him, he could ramble like that and not worry about offending anyone. After all he did like the gifts. They made him happy, so, so happy. He did feel very loved and missed. Students from 1-A and 1-B really pulled through, some teachers, it was so much, all so much. But...

But why not give this much care for the Alphas and Betas? Tsu would have loved a stuffed animal, he was sure of it. And Jiro could have used some new CDs....

Izuku had made a list of everyone who had gotten him gifts, he would repay their kindness, he would let them know how thankful he was. But it's all just...

There was a knock at the door as Izuku was packing up the 8th bunny his friends had gotten him. He turned and opened the door, letting the new comer get assaulted by the scents of all the roses and daisies and peonies in the room.

“Oh my” Nezu came through the threshhold, 2 to-go cups of tea in his paws, he offered one up to Izuku. Izuku smiled as he took it, breathing in the green tea mixed with honey. He moved to sit on the now bare bed, offering for Nezu to join him.

He held the Nuezu’s cup as Nezu climbed up, handing it back to the mammal once they were settled.

“I see your friends took your absence with much worry. I don’t think I’ve seen a room so decorated or loved.”

Izuku rolled his eyes to let Nezu know he thought it was over kill. Nezu chuckled.

“Izuku, you should know more than anyone, omegas are naturally something people strive to protect. You are a rarity in that secondary gender of yours. Not only that, but they are highly sought after. Rather than look at the imbalance of the protection, I encourage you to feel the warmth of the affection.”

Easy for you to say . Izuku mouthed very clearly for the mammal.

“Perhaps. But you can’t change their instincts.” Nezu noted.

Izuku’s shoulders slumped and Nezu snorted.

“I am glad you’re awake and allowed non-familial visitors. I heard you’re coming back to classes tomorrow, is that true? You know, you can take another day to settle into the dorms. Your classmates took a whole week.”

Izuku shook his head, he wouldn’t need it. He was falling behind as it was.

“I see. Well then, well, if you’re so eager. I have a project I would like for you to tackle during your English classes.” Nezu hummed, sipping his tea.

Izuku paused in his own drink- it felt nice on his throat. It was still raw from his body trying to scream.

Nezu smirked. “I have the files we pulled on the League of Villains. I want more information. I want you to go in, pull all of their files, and look through everything. I want you to focus on making a case of their innocence.”

Izuku blinked, looking down at the remaining bandages on his body, and looked back up to Nezu with an eyebrow quirked.

Not that he didn’t mind the assignment, it was just, couldn’t Nezu wait until his body stopped reminding him of the pain the league put him through?

“Now now, this is a sensitive matter. I need it done timely. And I know you’re up for it.”

Izuku huffed soundlessly, his curls blowing up from the motion. He smiled after he got the sass out and nodded. It sounded like an interesting project at least. Using one hand, he finger spelled. ‘Why?’

Nezu gave him that plotting smirk.

“We’re heroes, we should be prepared to save everyone, correct?”

Izuku nodded.

“Good, I’m glad we’re on the same page. Oh, and Izuku, please do have the respect of keeping this between us.”

Izuku nodded again.

“Well, now that the formalities are out of the way, why don’t we chat about the dorms and what you’ve missed in classes?” Nezu chirped.

Izuku smiled, listening to his mentor. Nezu didn’t leave out a detail, being mindful to pause for Izuku- who was better able to join the conversation once his tea was done. That was how his papa and Kaachan found him, mid-laugh from a particularly funny joke Nezu was telling him.
