Chapter 1: The Dinner

Jay’s POV:

The sun blared heavily on the flying ship.

My skin practically felt like it was going to melt off.

I was mopping the deck for the third time.

Until Nadakhan approached me and said, “Looks like you missed a spot,” and knocked the water bucket I was using over.

I sighed to myself, “I’m not gonna say it!” I pointed at him accusatively.

“Say what? That you can wish it all away?” He swayed to the side and then came straight at me, stopping inches away from my face. “You’ve already made your first two wishes; you have one left-”

“My friends will come for me!” I interrupted.

“I hope so. The more of you my Djinn blade collects, the stronger I become. Creating a world from scratch requires a great deal of hard work. Djinjago would get done a lot sooner if everyone pitches in. If you know what I mean...” He threw the blade at me, and it landed just in front of my feet.

The gem at the center of the blade shone brightly.

I could hear them screaming, my friends screaming.

“Wish it.” Nadakhan circled me. “Wish it all away and join them. Wish it, and you’ll never have to pick up another scrub brush again.”

I backed away, “If I didn’t have this vengestone ball and chain, I’d zap you clean off this ship!”

“Hmm. I can see why she once liked you.” he approached me once more, “You’re stronger than you appear.” he was now whispering in my ear, “But I know it’s all an act. Deep down, you’re scared. You know you’re weak. You make jokes to mask that you’re afraid.”

His breath made me shudder. I walked away from him again and went back to cleaning.

He followed me and peered over my shoulder, “That’s why you didn’t do anything when she fell for your friend.” Then the other, “Why you can’t do anything when she falls for me.”

He backed off slowly, “Believe me, aboard my ship, you will break. I will make sure of it. And when that time comes, I will be there so you can wish it all away.”

“Still not going to say it!” I responded cheekily.

Nadakhan turned to Flintlocke, “When he’s done swabbing the deck, make sure he swabs the entire hull.”

“The bottom of the chip, Captain?” Flintlocke tilted his head.

____

I hung off the ship, still with my ball and chain in place.

How did they expect me to clean like this?!

I panted as I continued to scrub the hull with a puny rag.

Nadakhan and Flintlocke looked down at me from above.

“You’re not afraid, are you, funny man?” Nadakhan asked.

“Ha! I love it!” I shouted

I wouldn’t let them get the satisfaction.

Nadakhan snarled and went out of view, as did Flintlocke.

I chuckled to myself.

They’re never going to break me if all they do is make me clean.

Why I love cleaning! (That was a lie, but I might as well believe it)

___

Night began to fall, and I was still scrubbing.

At least not the hull this time

I could barely see the spots of dirt in the dark.

I heard footsteps coming in my direction; it was Flintlocke.

“You hungry?” he asked

“Does it matter?” I wiped the sweat off my forehead.

“Captain would like to see you for dinner. Ain’t a request.” He pulled out his pistols, “It’s an order.”

I sighed and stood up.

He put my hands behind my back and proceeded to haul me off to Nadakhan’s quarters.

Flintlocke opened the door, and I was presented with a large array of delicacies to eat.

“Please, please, eat something.” Nadakhan greeted. “You must be famished."

It had been days since I had been taken prisoner.

I was exhausted.

I walked towards the table and sat down in the chair placed.

“Leave us, Flintlocke. I have something special in mind for this one.”

Flintlocke looked confused but shut the door despite the odd phrasing.

“So little canary,” he whistled, shoving the food aside.

“Don’t call me that,” I grumble.

“Aw, you look cute when you feel down.” He chuckled.

I shot him an odd look.

Just what was he getting at?

“I’m here to give you a little treat.” He looked deep into my eyes, searching for my reaction.

“The food?” I looked at him with a puzzled expression.

“Oh no, that was just to distract Flintlocke. I don’t want the rest of the crew to know about our little secret.”

I didn't like the way this is sounding..

“What secret? Quit being cryptic!” I shouted.

Nadakhan disappeared in an orange cloud of smoke and appeared in front of me with a hand on my mouth.

“Shh! Don’t ruin this.” He took his other hand and caressed my face.

Then the realization hit me.

Nadakhan was toying with me; he wanted to..

My eyes widened with fear, and I began to scream.

I knew one would help me, but I had to try.

“HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!” I screamed as loud as my lungs could go.

Nadkahn, in response, struck me across the face, and the whole chair fell back.

“Quiet!” He whispered harshly.

He got a rag and tied it to my mouth, then he picked me up with his four hands and tossed me on the table gently so as not to knock down any of the dishes.

I couldn’t use my powers, I was too exhausted to fight him, and I couldn’t even beat him if I tried.

I began to panic. And the dark realization that I couldn’t stop him started to settle in.

I lay sprawled out on the wooden table.
Nadakhan floated on top of me, and I could feel his eyes roaming every inch of my body.

He then placed a hand on my gi, the one I had worked so hard for by learning airjitzu was now ruined.

He began to undo it.

I tried to scream, but it was no use; the rag muffled all my cries.

He put his lower two arms on my hips to prevent me from moving.

Once it was off, I was completely exposed and at the mercy of Nadakhan the Djinn.

I began to sob violently.

But Nadakhan ignored me and began to use my body however he saw fit.

He started to kiss and bite at my neck aggressively, and then slowly went lower until he reached my..

I couldn’t just wish it all away.

My friends needed me.

But was it worth it?
