Chapter Text
Lando and Sebastian quickly hurried to get to the golden light shining brightly. After all, in this place of sorrow and sadness, people could disappear if they stayed too long, truly being forgotten by all. Which explained why they were going as fast as they could, not wanting for Lando to be completely forgotten.
The light was settling, becoming less and less bright as they walked. It was just like a light house nothing more nothing less. The castle was full of black spines and harsh forms not at all like it had been on the remembered world. Quite the contrary actually.
Lando walked to the door of the castle and looked for a knob but before he could actually curse to find where it was, it opened by himself. He entered, his footsteps seeming almost light in the black corridors that had a weight on them.
Sebastian was behind him, the only real light of this palace because candles were glowing green and not really bringing something. He walked inside of what looked like a throne room and the door also opened without him having the time to turn the knob. It was clearly filled with magic, this place.
As he entered, Lando found Charles who was pacing around, unaware that Lando was here. Charles was clearly the most beautiful human being that ever existed. Well, not a human. He wasn’t a human. Lando had to remind himself that Charles, Sebastian and Pierre weren’t humans.
And as he walked to Charles, the difference was more than clear. Charles was very tall. As tall as Pierre. Clearly a good 4 meters height. Taller than any one on Earth. “Excuse me, sir ? I mean Charles !” He looked as the immortal turned to him, eyes widening. “I am Lando and I require your help. Pierre killed me, apparently to win some kind of wagger that you had going one if I am not mistaken.”
Charles’ eyes flashed in a mix of fury and desire. “I beg your pardon ? Pierre did what ? Lando you’re not supposed to be freaking dead. Well not yet, I mean.” He cursed and said “Stay here Lando. I won’t let him cheat again. The fucking rascal.” He was smiling, though. A very hard and huge smile.
Sebastian put his hands on Lando’s ear to muffle the sound but he still heard Charles screaming Pierre’s name in a way that would have pierced a lot of ears and perhaps even Lando’s ears if Sebastian hadn't been a sweetheart and didn’t cover his ears. And just like he was summoned, Pierre appeared.
“Yes, Charles darling. Mon amour.” Pierre kissed Charles’ neck, not seeing that Lando was actually here and alive. “I know you missed me but you didn’t have to scream my name for all the realms to know.” He plucked one of Charles’ petals, chewing it and smiling hard.
Charles caressed his black wings before grabbing Pierre’s wings. “You fucker. You cheated once more !” He pointed to Lando who saw Pierre’s eyes widening in disbelief, clearly surprised that he actually passed all his defenses. “He isn’t supposed to be dead yet. Is he, my decayed love ?” This time it wasn’t loving or sweet but filled with reproach.
“Charles,” Pierre said, a part of him clearly delighted to see Charles pissed off. “My love. I would never do that. I didn’t kill Lando by a snake and I clearly didn’t give Oscar the medal of success.” He was clearly acting dumb to make Charles more and more filled with a mix of anger and desire.
“You did what ?” Charles turned, looking at his immortal lover. He grabbed Pierre and shook him, black feathers and orange petals mixing at Lando’s feet. “You cheated and you gave him the medal.” He dragged Pierre in a kiss, the former’s wings hiding them from the view of Lando and Sebastian.
Lando looked away and coughed, being flustered at the sight of Charles angrily making out with Pierre. Sebastian coughed and said “Boys, if you could keep your hands away from each other’s asses, I think we need to bring Lando back to his Oscar, away from your waggers, right ?”
Charles pulled away, not looking sheepish one bit and just wanting to show Pierre that he was angry. “Yes, yes.” He nodded. “I'm sorry.” He snapped his fingers but Lando didn’t vanish. “Pierre what did you do ? Why can’t I send him back up there ?” He grabbed Pierre’s hair hard but also tenderly weirdly.
Pierre smiled all sheepish. “I might have put a spell on him so that he wouldn’t do it that easily.” He giggled. “Silly me, uh ?” He caressed Charles’ neck, both of them looking at each other with so much love. It was almost sickening how much love they shared. Lando wanted the same love as them.
“Lando will have to face his biggest fear.” Pierre giggled and said. “Only then and only if he succeeds will he have the right to go back to his lover.” He was clearly trying to gain time for Maria and Oscar to marry and for him to win this wagger. Pierre rolled his eyes. “Very well.” He snapped his fingers.
Lando felt like black was swallowing him and he fell down on the ground, his head hitting sand. When he opened his eyes, he saw the colors again and music was filling his ears. But when he opened his eyes, Lando was alone in the arena, everyone in the bleachers. And in front of him there was his family and strangers, watching him and judging.
“You’re not worthy of us.” A voice rang from below. Then insults kept flowing at him. “You shouldn’t even be on Earth.” Oscar walked too in front of Lando. “How can you think that I would ever love you ?”
More people came to him insulting him and downgrading him. “You don’t deserve to be a Norris. You don’t deserve to think you have the right to be alive. If something you are at your place here”
Lando gasped, falling down. He was sobbing as people insulted him and pushed him around. His biggest fear was to be hated. He watched them as the people scoffed at him. Lando screamed hard.
Above on the Earth, Oscar was feeling like he was being ripped. As if he could feel that his lover was hurting somewhere. He was in bed alone and feeling like he couldn’t breathe. Maria wasn’t here. She was with Sophia, her secret lover. Oscar had nothing to say against her, himself would have done that if Lando was still alive.
He was sobbing, silent tears rolling down his cheeks. A part of him was missing when Lando wasn’t there. He screamed in his pillows, hoping that someone would put an end to his misery. That somehow, someone would kill him to join Lando.

Gabriel was sobbing hard and Charlotte calmed him gently. “Don’t worry.” She hugged him slightly. “Don’t worry, everything will be okay.” She gave him a tissue and caressed his hair. “Gabriel, it’s a love story not a drama.”
She opened back the book and said “Lando was yelling, screaming but the only thing that held him from giving up was the idea that he knew that Oscar would never ever insult him.” Her voice was softer.
