Broken Embers To Burning Envy

Summary:

If Leon won't marry you, you'll just have to find someone else til he snaps.

Work Text:

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Leon has been trying to convince you not to enter the dating scene so he can keep you as his friend with benefits. He doesn't date because he's sent on missions for months at a time. That and his commitment issues. For his age, his refusal to commit to relationships seems childish.

Leon's currently cuddled up next to you on the couch, kissing your neck and trying to make you delete the dating apps off your phone. His attempts make you chuckle, "We really need to talk about this whole thing Leon."

You tried to get up, but he pulled you back down, making you sigh.

Leon wrapped his arms around your waist, his body pressed against yours as he continued to kiss your neck, "Don't get up. I'm not done with you yet."

He nipped at your earlobe, his breath hot against your skin. "You know you don't need those apps. You have me."

"I want something genuine. . .I want someone to- well..."

Blush crept up your neck, and you sighed.

Leon raised an eyebrow at your hesitation, a smirk playing on his lips. He could sense your embarrassment and was curious to know what you were about to say.

"Someone to what, Y/n? Don't be shy now." He teased, his fingers tracing patterns on your skin.

"I want to start a family..."

You admitted reluctantly, your heart breaking slightly. You knew it could never be him. He'd already ranted and vented to you during every pillow talk, every aftercare session, that he'd never settle down.

He'd never pick you.

Leon froze for a moment, his playful demeanor faltering. The mention of family and commitment caught him off guard. He hadn't expected you to say that.

He pulled back slightly, his expression unreadable as he looked at you. "A family... You want kids?"

"Well, yeah, or just make things official with someone..."

You looked guilty despite your wants. Even if you wanted it to be him, your family had been on your case to get married and soon because you were wasting your life living unmarried.

Leon's jaw clenched, a mix of emotions flashing across his face. He knew what you were implying - you wanted more than just casual hookups with him. You wanted a real relationship, the kind he was avoiding.

He ran a hand through his hair, his voice slightly strained. "You know I can't give you that, Y/n. You know why."

Your heart broke, but you already knew that would be his answer. You steeled yourself and knew you needed to finish this.

"Ergo, I'm going to look for someone."

Leon's grip on you tightened slightly, a hint of possessiveness in his touch. He didn't like the idea of you looking for someone else, even though he knew he couldn't offer you what you wanted.

"And what if I don't want you to look for someone else?" He said, his tone low and firm.

"Then you can tell that to my family who are being incredibly cruel to me over it."

You pushed him off and got up, heading to his kitchen area. Your throat was dry, and you needed water before you left. So you wouldn't choke on your tears the second you left him behind.

Leon followed you, his frustration growing. He hated seeing you upset, but he also didn't want to be the one to give you what you needed. He leaned against the counter, watching you.

"What do you mean they're being cruel? They want you to find a man to settle down with too?"

You were filling a glass with water at his kitchen sink as you looked out the window over it.

"Pretty much. I'm not a mother and wasting my life apparently...."

Leon scoffed, crossing his arms. "They don't understand that you're not wasting your life. You're just not ready for that kind of commitment yet."

He walked up behind you, placing his hands on your hips. "And you shouldn't let them pressure you into something you're not sure about."

"I am ready. I want kids before I'm an old maid. Or at least one...."

You sighed, your heart sinking into your stomach. He really wasn't going to offer.

"Like my cousin said, he doesn't need to be emotionally available. Just to be a breeding stud...."
Leon's eyes widened at your words, a mixture of shock and anger crossing his face. "Your cousin said what?"

He turned you around to face him, his expression serious. "That's not right, Y/n. You deserve better than that. A man who wants to be there for you and the child, not just a stud."

You shrugged, looking away. You wanted to stay, you wanted to dream a little longer and be delusional. That he'd always be yours, and would marry you some day.

Leon cupped your chin, forcing you to look at him. "You can't be serious about this. You want a child just to have one? And what about the father? You don't care who it is as long as they can give you a kid?"

His grip on your chin was firm, but not painful. He was struggling to understand your mindset.

"Well...no....I want everything but look at me, Leon. People like us don't get to be happy...."
Your tone was despondent as your heart filled with a unsettling sickly sweet feeling you couldn't describe. You hated it.

Leon's expression softened slightly, a hint of sadness in his eyes. He knew what you meant. People like them - people who had seen and done things, people who had scars both physical and emotional. People who were too broken for relationships.

He gently stroked your cheek with his thumb. "Y/n, just because we're different doesn't mean we can't be happy. We can find someone who understands us, who accepts us for who we are."

"I have to go home."

You set the glass down. You had to leave before you did something you couldn't take back.

"I just wanted to come tell you."

Leon's heart sank as you said you had to leave. He didn't want you to go, not like this. He didn't want you to go out and try to find some guy who would use you for breeding.

He stepped closer, his arms wrapping around you again. "Y/n, please don't do this. Don't settle for someone who only wants to impregnate you. You're worth more than that."

His voice was pleading, a rare vulnerability showing through his usual cocky demeanor.

"Do I? Cuz it doesn't feel like it anymore..."

You were heading to the door, running away from him, from your pain.

"Maybe the BSAA has some damaged goods I can marry and bury."

You joked bitterly, your hand on the cold doorknob.

Leon followed you to the door, his frustration and concern reaching a boiling point. He grabbed your arm, pulling you back from the door.

"Dammit, Y/n! You're not some object to be married off and used for breeding. You're not damaged goods either."

He pushed you against the wall, his body pressed against yours. "You're beautiful, intelligent, strong, and capable of so much more than being a mother. Don't let your family or your cousin make you think otherwise."

His eyes were intense, filled with a mix of anger and desperation. "Don't throw your life away like this."

"What's wrong with not wanting to be alone...??"

You glared back, your voice cracking as you finally snapped.

"Maybe I don't wanna wait on you forever only to have nothing!"

"There's nothing wrong with not wanting to be alone, but there's a difference between being alone and being used." Leon growled, his hands on either side of your head, trapping you between him and the wall.

"You're not alone, Y/n. You have me, even if it's not what you want. I care about you. I want you to be happy, but not like this. Not with someone who only wants you for their own selfish reasons."

His face was inches from yours, his breath hot against your skin. He was struggling to keep his emotions in check.

"I just can't give you that, we don't need to be that serious, what we have is fine...."

You shoved him off, tears spilling over.

"I'm sorry Leon, but it's not. So if you can't be happy for me, stay out of my way!"

Leon's jaw clenched again, his heart aching at your words. He knew you were right. He wouldn't marry you, not in the way you needed. He couldn't commit to that kind of relationship, no matter how much he cared about you.

"You're right, I can't be." he admitted, his voice strained. "But that doesn't mean you have to settle for anything less than what you truly deserve."

He leaned his forehead against yours, his eyes closing briefly. "I won't let you throw yourself into a loveless marriage just to satisfy your family or your family's twisted fantasies."

You snorted, scowling at him.

"Of course you won't, you're Leon S Kennedy. Great American hero."

Leon stepped back slightly, his expression darkening at your sarcastic tone. "Don't give me that. I'm not just some hero, I'm your friend. And as your friend, I won't stand by and watch you ruin your life for a fantasy you don't even want."

He grabbed your chin again, forcing you to look into his eyes. "You're better than that, Y/n. You deserve love, real love. Not some fake arrangement just because you want a kid."

His grip was firm, his voice low and serious. "You deserve to be with someone who will worship the ground you walk on, who will cherish you and protect you, and who will be there for you through thick and thin."

You gently held his wrist, bringing his fist to your lips. Your tears running harder as your heart shattered.

Leon's breath hitched as you kissed his fist, his anger momentarily forgotten. He watched you with a mix of frustration and longing, his eyes softening at the gesture.

"Y/n..." he whispered, his voice barely audible. "Please don't do this. Please don't leave."

He leaned in closer, his free hand cupping the side of your face. "Stay with me tonight. Let me show you that there's more to life than just being a mother. Let me show you how much I care about you."

His thumb brushed over your bottom lip, his gaze pleading.
"I'm sorry, Leon....maybe when we're old and 70 we can be together in the old folks home they cram us into, when you're more open to the idea of a lover."

You let go and ran out the door. Sobbing your eyes out as you ran and ran and ran and ran...

Leon stood there, frozen in place as you walked out the door. His heart shattered into a million pieces at your words. The thought of you both being alone and together in an old folks home, too old and jaded to have a real relationship, was almost unbearable.

He wanted to run after you, to grab you and never let go. But he knew it wouldn't change anything. You were determined to find someone, and he was too scared to give you what you truly needed.

He slammed his fist against the wall, a mix of anger and despair coursing through him. "Damn it..." he muttered under his breath, his shoulders slumping in defeat.

Weeks passed, and then 3 months. Now during a birthday party between old friends over Claire Redfield, Leon was finding himself at the bottom of a bottle.

Claire: "To being 30!~"
She cheered with her flirty 30 birthday sash.

Her brother, Chris, was rolling his eyes and shaking his head.

Leon lifted his glass in a half-hearted toast, taking another swig of whiskey. He forced a smile, trying to appear cheerful for Claire's sake, but his eyes were dull and unfocused.

Chris leaned over to him, noticing his state. "You look like hell, Kennedy."

Leon chuckled darkly, his voice slurred slightly from the alcohol. "Thanks, Redfield. You're looking as charming as ever."

He downed the rest of his drink in one go, signaling the bartender for another. He couldn't stop thinking about you, wondering what you were doing and who you were with.
Claire: "Oh my god, Y/n, you're here! Aaah! Guys, the baby just showed up!"

"Very funny Claire. Rebecca and I are both the same age."

You scoffed, heading over to her in a red sequin dress and black platform lugs. You both hugged, and you gave her a gift bag.

"I know you saaaaid no gifts, but you'll want this one."

For a moment, Leon caught your eye, but you pretended like it didn't happen. Too busy being smug about your gift.

Leon's heart skipped a beat when he saw you. You looked stunning in that dress, and his eyes lingered on your curves for a moment before he caught himself.

He quickly looked away, pretending to be interested in his drink again. He listened to the conversation between you and Claire, his grip on his glass tightening as he heard the word "baby."

"Damn it," he muttered under his breath. He knew he was being ridiculous, but the thought of you pregnant with someone else's child was tearing him apart. He watched as you interacted with Claire, your back to him.

Chris nudged him. "Dude, stop staring."

Rebecca hurried over to hug you.
Rebecca: "How's the clinic stuff going?"

You shrugged while Claire opened her gift.
"Haven't found any genetics I care for yet."

Claire gasped as she pulled out a file folder from the bag.
Claire: "Oooh my god are these those old reports I wanted? Where did you get them???"

"You don't wanna know."
You smiled sheepishly, crossing your hands behind your back and shifting your hips to swirl your skirt.

Claire's eyes widened as she flipped through the files, her excitement growing. "These are perfect! I've been looking for these for months!"

She hugged you again, thanking you profusely. "You're the best, Y/n. How did you even get them?"

Leon's curiosity was piqued, and he couldn't help but listen in. He leaned closer to Chris, whispering, "What kind of reports are those?"

Chris shrugged, looking just as intrigued as Leon. "No idea, but knowing Claire, they're probably something classified."

Rebecca was looking over Claire's shoulder at them curiously.
Rebecca: "Hey, these are those lost data files on the original virus...."

You looked away while Rebecca stared at you. You pressed your lips together, cheeks puffed out.

Chris and Leon exchanged a look, their interest now fully peaked. Leon couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Lost data files on the original virus?" he repeated, his voice low.

He watched as Rebecca continued to examine the files, her expression serious. He could see the wheels turning in her head as she connected the dots.

"Where did you say you got these again, Y/n?" Chris asked, his tone casual but probing.

Leon's gaze flicked back to you, studying your face for any sign of deception or guilt. He knew you were involved in some shady things sometimes, but this was a whole new level.

"I uh- may have been in charge of a dig site for the arklay mountain scavenger mission two months ago....and didn't turn these over...."

You sniffed, looking casual as you scratched your nose.

The room went silent as everyone processed your confession. Chris's eyes narrowed, his expression a mix of disbelief and irritation.

"You didn't turn over classified documents to the government?" he asked, his voice cold. "Are you insane?"

Leon couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You kept those files from the government for two months and didn't think to mention it until now?"

Rebecca looked up from the files, her face pale. "Y/n, do you have any idea how dangerous that is? If the wrong people find out you have these..."

Claire was too stunned to speak, her hands still holding the files.

"Yeah? Well, Claire will do more good with them than the rest of us will. Plus I was busy."

You tossed a USB to chris, winking.

"Digital copies, you're welcome.~"

Chris caught the USB, his jaw clenched. "Busy doing what? Breaking more laws?" he snapped, tucking the USB into his pocket.

Leon watched the exchange, his mind racing. He knew you were reckless, but this was beyond anything he'd imagined. He downed another shot of whiskey, feeling a mix of anger and concern.

Claire finally found her voice. "Y/n, this is serious. You could get arrested for this."

Rebecca nodded in agreement. "And it could put all of us in danger if it gets out that you've been keeping government property."

You shrugged, completely unfazed by their warnings. "I took precautions. Besides, I have connections."

Chris scoffed. "Connections won't save you if you end up in a cell."

Leon couldn't take it anymore. He slammed his glass down on the bar and stood up, his eyes locked on you. "What the hell were you thinking?" he growled, stalking towards you.

"I was thinking I better get them to the Redfields instead of the shredder where I was told to send them."

You rolled your eyes.

Claire: "Shred them?"

"Yes. Shred them. Not save them. Shred them. I thought it was a suspicious order. Don't you?"

You crossed your arms, huffing in annoyance.

Chris ran a hand through his hair, frustration evident in his movements. "So you ignored orders and saved them anyway? That's not how things work, Y/n. You can't just decide to keep classified documents because you think something is suspicious."

Rebecca chimed in, her voice stern. "You could have come to us with your concerns. We would have investigated it properly."

Leon stopped a few feet away from you, his fists clenched at his sides. "You could have gotten yourself killed over these files. Or worse, dragged us all into it."

He was seething with anger and worry. "What if someone finds out? What if the wrong people are already looking for these?"

Claire looked at you, her expression a mix of disbelief and disappointment. "You need to turn yourself in and give those files back. Now."

"You and Chris have the only copies. Do whatever you want with them."
You uncrossed your arms, smiling smugly.
"Besides, you were the one who said 'man oh man what I wouldn't give for some of those original files'."

Claire stiffened and looked away, sheepish.
"Well- I uh- maybe..."

Chris glared at Claire, who had the decency to look guilty. "Claire, seriously? You encouraged her?"

Leon's eyes darted between you and Claire, his anger growing even more. "You two are unbelievable. Claire, you can't just ask for classified documents and expect them to be handed over without consequences."

He turned back to you, his voice low and dangerous. "And you, stop playing games with our lives. This isn't a joke, Y/n. This is treason."

Claire fidgeted with the files, avoiding eye contact. "I didn't think she'd actually do it..."

Leon shook his head in disbelief. "That's the problem, you never think things through."

Rebecca was still examining the files, her expression darkening as she read through them. "These files are extremely sensitive. If they fall into the wrong hands..."

"I'm not a snitch." You smirked, too smug for your own good.

"Besides, like I said. Those are the only copies. It's a BSAA job anyway."

You rolled your eyes, watching Chris groan and shake his head.
"Fine. Fine you're right. It is. I'll take care of it. Claire, hand over your copy."

Claire protested immediately, clutching the files to her chest. "No way, Chris. I've been waiting for these for months! They're crucial to my research."

Leon sighed heavily, running a hand down his face. "Claire, this isn't about your research. It's about national security."

Chris held out his hand expectantly. "I don't care what your research needs. These files are too dangerous to keep out in the open. Give them to me now."

Claire looked torn, her eyes flicking between Chris and the files. She knew he was right, but she was clearly reluctant to part with them.

Rebecca stepped forward, backing Chris up. "Claire, please. You have to see reason. If someone else finds out you have these, they'll come after you and everyone you care about."

"Can I just write down the ingredient locations so I can go there to expose the pharmaceuticals making them? Please? It's my birthday."

Claire begged Chris pleadingly.

Chris's expression softened slightly at her plea, but he remained firm. "Claire, I understand how important this is to you, but we can't risk it. You can write down the locations, but that's it. You are not going anywhere near those facilities alone."

He glanced at you briefly, then back at Claire. "And you're not taking any more risks with classified materials. We'll deal with this the proper way."

Rebecca nodded in agreement. "We'll work with you on this, but you have to trust us to handle it through official channels."

Claire pouted, clearly unhappy with the compromise. "Fine. But I want to be involved in every step of the investigation."

Leon crossed his arms, watching the exchange with a mix of frustration and resignation. He knew Claire wouldn't let this go easily, and he was already dreading the paperwork this was going to cause.

You were pouring yourself a drink, looking proud of yourself. The bar was mostly empty for this time of day, but thats how the others had wanted it.

Leon's eyes followed you as you poured your drink. He was still seething, but he couldn't help but notice how confident you looked. It pissed him off even more.

He stalked over to the bar, leaning against it next to you. "You think this is funny, don't you?" he growled, his voice low enough that only you could hear.

He glanced at the others, making sure they were distracted before turning his full attention back to you. "Risking your life, risking our jobs, all for a little thrill."

He clenched his jaw, trying to keep his voice steady. "What the hell is wrong with you, Y/n? You're going to get yourself killed one of these days."

"That's my Husband's problem to worry about. Not yours."

You smirked after taking a big guzzle of booze.

Leon's eyes narrowed at your response, his grip on the bar tightening. "Your husband can't be there to save you every time you pull a stunt like this. And it is my problem, because I care about you, whether you like it or not."

He leaned in closer, his face inches from yours. "And don't even start with that 'not mine' bullshit. You know damn well I'm not just some random friend. You and I are-"

He stopped himself, realizing he was getting too worked up. He took a deep breath, trying to reign in his emotions. "You're infuriating."

"I know." You teased. "Also, I don't have a husband yet.~"
You grabbed your whole bottle and went to join the others.

Leon watched you walk away, his heart skipping a beat at your admission. He couldn't believe you were still single, despite his constant flirting. He ran a hand through his hair again, frustrated and confused.

He watched as you sat down with the others, casually drinking straight from the bottle. The way you acted so nonchalant about everything drove him insane. He wanted to grab you and shake some sense into you, but he knew it wouldn't do any good.

He pushed himself away from the bar and followed you, unable to stay away despite his anger. He stood behind your chair, his hands gripping the backrest as he looked down at you. "No husband yet? So what's the plan? Keep stringing me along while you risk your life for some thrill?"

His voice was laced with bitterness and hurt.
Chris: "No husband yet? The hell does that mean?"

"Ugh. It's nothing. Leon is just mad cuz my family wants me to get married to someone quickly. I'm not picky. Just a stable job and someone who can tell my parents to fuck off. Doesn't need to be permanent."

You sighed.

"If only someone would fall into my lap from the heavens or something."

Claire snorted.

Claire: "Hell I'd do it, but I don't have the correct equipment."

Rebecca looked scandalized but laughed anyway.

Chris raised an eyebrow at your explanation, clearly not satisfied with the lack of detail. "Just a stable job and someone to tell your parents off? That's all you need? Sounds like you're just looking for a placeholder."

Leon's grip on the chair tightened, his knuckles turning white. The thought of you settling for someone who wasn't him made his blood boil. He wanted to tell you that he was right there, ready to tell your parents off and give you everything you needed.

He stayed silent, though, his jaw clenched as he listened to the conversation.

Rebecca chimed in again, trying to be more diplomatic. "That's a pretty low bar, Y/n. Don't you want something more meaningful than just a convenient marriage?"

Claire shrugged. "I don't know, Rebecca. Sometimes convenience is all you can get in this line of work. We're not exactly known for our romantic lives."

"I mean I have Leon." You joked, winking at him over your shoulder.
"Oh wait, fuck I forgot, he's married to his job."
You joked.

Claire choked on her drink and busted out laughing.

Leon rolled his eyes at your jab, though he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. You weren't wrong, he was married to his job. But he was also married to you, even if it was just in his head.

He forced a smirk onto his face, trying to play it cool. "Very funny, Y/n. At least my job doesn't require me to sign a prenup."

Claire continued to laugh, wiping tears from her eyes. "Oh god, Leon's the worst husband material. He'd never be able to keep up with your... unique needs."

Leon shot Claire a glare, silently warning her not to push him any further. He knew she was right, but he didn't need the reminder.

Rebecca chuckled nervously, sensing the tension. "Maybe you should lower your standards even more if you're considering Leon as an option."

"Oh I would. I'd marry anyone who isn't my family. We're not in sweet home Alabama. " You wheezed out a laugh.

"Like who?" Chris asked.

"Well damn Chris, if you want the job so badly submit a resume."

You said jokingly.

"Oh my god PLEASE my brother needs someone to bully him legally."
Claire was cackling.

Chris's face turned bright red as Claire suggested he marry you, clearly caught off guard. He stuttered for a moment before finding his voice. "I-I wasn't being serious! And I don't need anyone to 'bully' me!"

Rebecca stifled another laugh behind her hand, enjoying the sight of the usually stoic Chris getting flustered. Leon's grip on the chair became even tighter as he watched Chris blush.

Claire: "Come on you can't be loveless forever big bro."

You were laughing just as much as Claire and Rebecca were.

Chris shot a pleading look at Rebecca, who just shrugged helplessly. He then turned to you, looking completely mortified. "This is not happening. I refuse to be a part of this ridiculous conversation."

Leon's jaw clenched again as he watched the interaction between you and Chris. The thought of you and his best friend together made his blood boil even more than the idea of you with anyone else. He could see the way Chris was reacting to your teasing, and it made him jealous beyond belief.

"Aww come on, you two would make such a cute couple!"
Claire shouted a little too loudly.

"You won't find a better legally suited woman in the BSAA Chris...! They're not as good at putting up with your bull as I am...!"

You called teasingly as he got up to get another drink from the bar.

Chris groaned and covered his face with his hands, clearly regretting ever joining this conversation. "I can't believe I'm being peer pressured into marriage by my own sister!"

He made his way to the bar, muttering under his breath about how he needed something stronger than water. Leon followed him with his eyes, his expression darkening as he watched Chris try to escape the situation.

"It's not peer pressure if it's true!"
Claire cheered.

Rebecca finally spoke up again, still giggling. "You have to admit, Y/n does have a point about the BSAA women. They tend to run away when they see Chris in his work mode."

Leon stepped closer to you, leaning down to whisper in your ear. "You're enjoying this way too much."
"Then get over your stupid stubbornness and marry me before Claire convinces Chris to do it...."
You whispered back before taking a long drink.

"I know how to herd 'em don't I?"
You said out loud, loud enough for Chris to hear.

Leon's heart skipped a beat at your whispered proposal, his eyes widening slightly in surprise. He had fantasized about this countless times, but never thought it would happen so abruptly, or while he was mad at you.

He pulled back a little, trying to regain his composure as you spoke louder. "Yeah you do," he said, his voice still strained with anger. "And that's exactly why you shouldn't be looking for someone else to 'marry.'"

He crossed his arms again, a mixture of desire and frustration warring within him. "Chris is not an option. You know I don't want you with him."

He wanted to add more but stayed his tongue when his friend let out a distressed noise from the bar and took another big gulp. Chris cleared his throat.
Chris: "Woah, wait, why not? I'd be great. Not that I would."

Claire set her phone next to her drink and hit the record button so no one would see it.

Leon's jaw dropped as Chris started to consider it. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. His best friend, the man he trusted with his life, was actually considering marrying the woman Leon had been pining after for years.

"She's right, I do need someone who can put up with my work."
Chris rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"You wouldn't even have to worry about your long-term missions. Y/n would have the authority to do that stuff. And she wouldn't get bored of you."
Claire pointed out with a big grin.

"She's also a good shot, and her sense of humor is almost as dry as mine. I like dry humor."
He grinned back.

"And she's a great cook! She can keep you fed and hydrated. You can keep each other busy in bed too."
Claire teased with a mischievous smile, glancing over at Leon to gage his reaction.

"I can imagine it now... She'd make me a damn good wife."
Chris sighed longingly.

Leon clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white again. He couldn't take this anymore. He stormed over to Chris and grabbed him by the collar, pulling him away from the bar.

"Enough," Leon growled, his voice low and dangerous. "She's not marrying you, Redfield."

Your jaw dropped and you stood up.
"Woah! Leon, relax we were just kidding."

"I'm not."
Claire giggled drunkenly, recording everything on her phone but without the shame this time.

Leon didn't let go of Chris, his grip tightening as he stared him down. "It doesn't sound like a joke to me," he snapped, his eyes flicking between you and Claire.

Chris held up his hands in surrender, looking slightly alarmed by Leon's reaction. "Leon, calm down, we were just playing around. I'm not actually going to marry her."

Claire smirked and kept recording.

"I'm not so sure about that..." She said teasingly.

Leon's eyes narrowed at Claire's comment, his anger only growing. He shoved Chris back against the bar and turned to face you.

"And you," he said, his voice shaking with emotion. "You're encouraging this nonsense. You know how I feel about you."

"I don't actually, you specifically told me you can't have anyone love you, and you're unlovable. So I'm trying to find someone who is. What's wrong with that?"
You glared at Leon, cheeks puffed.

"Is that why you've been going to the fertility clinic? I just thought you two broke up or something-"
Rebecca asked worriedly.

"REBECCA!"
You looked at her with betrayal, cheeks flushed red.

Rebecca clapped a hand over her mouth, realizing she had just revealed your secret. She looked between you and Leon, guilt written all over her face.

Leon's expression turned from anger to confusion and hurt. "Fertility clinic? You're trying to get pregnant?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

He let go of Chris and took a step towards you, his mind racing. The thought of you trying to have a baby with someone else, anyone else, was tearing him apart.

"You're what?!"
Chris' jaw dropped.

Claire gasped loudly, covering her mouth.

"No no! I'm not- I haven't picked out a genetic donar yet I'm just doing the hormone treatments."
You raised your hands while Leon stomped over to you. You backed away around the table, smiling nervously.

"Oh fuck-"
You ran for it.

Leon's eyes darkened as you ran, his feet pounding after you. "Y/n, get back here!" he shouted, his voice filled with a mix of fury and desperation.

Chris and Claire watched in shock as you bolted, Rebecca covering her mouth again.

"Oh my god," Rebecca whispered. "He's going to kill her."

Leon was gaining on you quickly, his training making him faster than you could ever hope to be. He was determined to catch you and confront you about this.

"Leon! Let her explain!"
Chris ordered, trying to stop the chaos.

You jumped over the counter, and gave Leon the run around while the patrons and bar staff looked confused.
"You're being really dramatic for someone who can't be bothered!"

Leon vaulted over the counter after you, not caring about the chaos he was causing. He dodged around tables and chairs, his eyes locked on your fleeing form.

"This isn't about me being dramatic!" he yelled back, his breathing heavy from the chase. "You're trying to have a baby with someone else's sperm!"

The patrons and staff gasped and started whispering amongst themselves, some even taking out their phones to record the scene.

"I'll try to talk him down."
Chris said, running over to the counter as Claire stayed in her seat.

"She doesn't have to explain herself to you, Leon! You told her you couldn't love her!" Claire shouted back.

"See? Claire and Rebecca understand that! Why can't you???"
You ducked and rolled as he lunged for you, and you ran again.

Leon growled in frustration as you dodged him again, his patience wearing thin. He followed your roll, nearly losing his balance.

"Because I'm in love with you, you stubborn woman!" he bellowed, finally admitting it out loud. "I don't want you to have a baby with anyone else's sperm because I want to be the father of your child!"

The crowd gasped louder, and Claire nearly fell off her chair.

"Holy shit-"
Chris stopped dead in his tracks, eyes wide.

"Well that sucks cuz my mom already picked out a nice man for me to legally marry next month!"
You jumped over the counter again as you kept running.
"And you're too much of a coward to do it before then!"
You bolted for the door.

Leon's heart shattered at your words, and he froze in place for a moment. "Your mother... what?" he muttered, his anger turning into disbelief.

He snapped out of his shock and resumed the chase, his movements more frantic now. "Damn it, Y/n, stop running! I'll fucking marry you right now if I have to!"

Chris facepalmed.

Claire: "Ooooh she's really pissed."

You reached the door and threw it open, the bell above it jingling loudly. You turned back to him, breathing heavily.
"Oh yeah? Where's the ring? I need a proposal, Leon!"

Leon sprinted after you, finally catching up to you outside. He grabbed your wrist, spinning you around to face him.

"I don't have a ring because I didn't think you'd actually want one!" he panted, his grip firm but not painful. "I didn't think you'd want to be tied down to me! But I swear, I'll get you a damn ring right now if that's what it takes to keep you from marrying some stranger your mother picked out!"

"Let go of me you cave man!"
You screamed as he picked you up and threw you over his shoulder.

Claire grabbed her phone, running to the door to keep recording.

Claire: "Get a big rock Y/n!"

"TRAITOR!" You cried.
Leon ignored your screams and your insult to Claire, carrying you towards his car. "I'll get you the biggest rock in the damn store if that's what it takes," he growled, his hand resting on your thigh to keep you in place.

Chris and Rebecca had followed them out and watched as Leon kidnapped you, both looking amused. Chris leaned against the wall of the bar.

"She's really gonna be his wife. He's actually gonna propose."

Rebecca: "And he's gonna be a dad... Leon Kennedy is going to be a father."

Claire: "He's also going to be whipped."

You yelled as Leon threw you into the back seat, locking the doors.
You banged on the window while he stomped around to the drivers seat.
You went to roll the window down and escape but
Leon drove away so fast you fell over with a squeak.
"Leon...!"
Leon smirked at your squeak, glancing at you through the rearview mirror. "You're not getting out of this, Y/n," he said, speeding through the streets of D.C. "You're mine, and I'm going to prove it."

He made a sharp turn, causing you to slide across the seat. He didn't slow down, his eyes flicking between the road and your reflection in the mirror.

"I can't believe you tried to get pregnant without telling me," he added, his tone a mix of anger and possessiveness. "And you really thought I'd let you go through with it?"

"Well obviously you would stop me that's why I didn't say anything- EEK!"
You went sliding again.

Leon chuckled darkly at your reaction to his driving. "You're lucky I didn't find out sooner. I would've dragged you to a clinic myself and had them cancel the treatment."

He took another sharp turn, the car skidding slightly. He was definitely driving recklessly just to get you riled up.

"And now, I'm going to buy you that ring, and then I'm going to fuck you so hard you won't be able to walk straight for a week. Maybe that'll teach you not to keep secrets from me."
He turned again, heading towards the jewelry district.

"Okay okay okay! I'll marry you!"
You were clinging to the seat belt for dear life.

Leon slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a screeching halt in front of a jewelry store. He turned around in his seat, a triumphant grin on his face.

"Say that again," he demanded, his eyes locked onto yours.
He unbuckled his seatbelt and climbed into the back with you, caging you between his arms and the door.
"Tell me you'll marry me right now, and mean it."

"I'll marry you- you're crushing me- that TICKLES!!!"
You screamed and thrashed.

Leon pressed himself against you, his weight pinning you down. He smirked at your giggles, his fingers trailing up your sides teasingly.
"Good girl," he purred, nuzzling your neck. "I'll get you a ring, but first..."
He nipped at your ear, his breath hot against your skin. "I want to hear you say it again while I make you cum."

Your breath was heavy and your heart racing as he felt you up under your dress. You had no underwear on under your fish nets.

Leon's hands roamed over your body, his touch becoming more possessive and demanding. He growled when he discovered your lack of underwear, his fingers digging into your thighs.

"No panties? You really are trying to drive me crazy, aren't you?" he whispered huskily, his thumb rubbing circles on your inner thigh. "I'm going to ruin you for any other man, Y/n. You'll never need another man's cock again. You'll be mine forever."

"I was gonna go home with Chris if he said yes....I just- I wanted you to want me back- ah!"
You squeaked, feeling his calloused fingers in all the places that didn't satisfy you.

Leon's eyes darkened with jealousy and anger at the mention of Chris. He grabbed your chin, forcing you to look at him.
"You thought going home with Chris would make me want you?" he snarled, his grip tightening. "You were going to let him touch what's mine? You were going to let him fuck you while I was off on a mission, not knowing?"
His fingers moved higher, brushing against your clit through the fishnets.

"I-I'm sorry-!"
You squeaked, feeling him rip througu the fish nets.

"Sorry isn't good enough," he growled, tearing the fishnets apart completely. "You're not going anywhere with him. You're not even going to think about another man ever again. You belong to me, and I'll make sure you never forget that."

He leaned down and bit your neck hard, marking you as his. His fingers continued their assault on your clit, rubbing it roughly.
"I'm going to mark you up so everyone knows you're taken. No more dating apps, no more Chris, no more of any other men. Just me."

You cried out in pain, your hand moving to press the tinted window glass.
"Leon...!"

Leon didn't stop, he sucked and bit harder, leaving dark hickeys all over your neck and collarbone. He pushed two fingers inside you, curling them just right.
"Say my name again," he demanded, his voice rough with lust and anger. "Scream it. Let the whole city know who's making you feel this way."
He pumped his fingers in and out of you at a relentless pace, his thumb circling your clit faster.
"Who do you belong to?"

"You...! I-I'll marry you....! Oh oh oh!"
You cried out in sweet pleasure, your heart melting under his attention.

"Damn right you will," he grunted, adding a third finger and thrusting them deeper. "And you'll let me knock you up with my babies. I'll fill you up with my cum until you're pregnant with my child. I don't care if you're already on hormones, I'll just have to make sure it takes."
He kissed you roughly, his tongue invading your mouth as he continued to finger you. His other hand moved to your breast, squeezing it through your dress.
"I'll make sure you're always round and swollen with my seed. You'll be my perfect little breeding slut."

"P-please....I'm ovulating I need your- oh!~"
You came on his fingers, thighs shaking as he forced an orgasm out of you.

Leon felt you clench around his fingers, and he smirked against your lips. He pulled them out and brought them to his mouth, licking them clean.
"Mmm, you taste so good when you're desperate for me," he said, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "But you know what I want more than that? I want to see you walk down the aisle, showing off your pregnant belly to everyone. I want to see your mom's face when she realizes her daughter is marrying me and carrying my child."
He undid his belt and zipper, freeing his hard cock.

"Please...please I'll do anything for that...."
You begged pathetically with a whimper, arching your back.

Leon lined himself up with your entrance, teasing your folds with the tip of his cock. "Anything?" he repeated, a sinister smile on his face. "Then beg me to breed you, my little cum dumpster. Beg me to fill you up and make you mine in every way possible."
He pressed against you but didn't push in yet, wanting to hear your pleas.

"Please...please don't leave me to be by myself anymore....please stay around...please, make a family with me...."
Tears formed as you begged for your heart felt wishes, something you could never tell him in fear he'd say no.

Leon's expression softened slightly at your tears, but his determination remained. He wiped away a tear with his thumb, his other hand holding your hip firmly.
"I won't leave you, Y/n," he promised, his voice softer now. "I'll be around all the time, I'll be the one to make you happy. I'll be the one to put a baby in you and watch you grow with my child. You won't be alone anymore. You'll never have to go to Chris or any other man for comfort ever again."
He leaned down and kissed your forehead, then whispered in your ear. "I'll take care of you and our baby, I swear it."
He finally pushed into you, filling you up with one swift thrust.

"Oh!!~ oh oh oh...!"
You shifted your hips back and forth, to meet his hips with each thrust.

Leon groaned as he bottomed out, feeling your walls flutter around him. He began to move, his pace rough and deep.
"You feel so perfect around me," he panted, his hands gripping your thighs tightly. "So tight and wet, just for me. My perfect little wife."
He lifted one of your legs over his shoulder, changing the angle and hitting deeper. His thrusts were hard and possessive, claiming you with every movement.
"I'm going to fill you up so full of cum, it'll be leaking out of you for days. You're going to be leaking my seed for a week."

The whole jeep was shaking as he fucked you in the back seat without a condom. He'd always demanded one, but feeling him bare felt like a promise while you cried in pleasure for him.
Leon didn't care about the shaking or the fact that anyone passing by could see what was happening. He was lost in the sensation of being inside you without a barrier, the thought of breeding you making him even more feral.
"Fuck, I can feel you clenching around me," he growled, his hips snapping against yours. "You're already trying to milk me, aren't you? You want me to give you a baby right here, right now?"
He reached down and rubbed your clit again, wanting to push you over the edge once more. "Cum for me again, Y/n. Cum on my cock while I promise to knock you up with triplets."

"Y-yes...."
You admitted, milking him properly like a good girl. Shaking for another impending orgasm.
"I-it'll be twins....s-sorry- I double ovulated o-on the hormones-"

Leon's eyes widened slightly at your admission, but then he chuckled darkly. "Twins, huh? Even better. I'll breed you with twins, and if that's not enough, we'll just keep trying until you're pregnant with as many as your body can handle."
He increased the pressure on your clit, his other hand moving to your stomach. "You're going to be so round with my twins. Your belly will be swollen with my seed, and everyone will know that I put them there. They'll know that I claimed you as my woman, and marked you as mine in the most primal way possible."
He leaned down again, biting your shoulder as he continued to pound into you. "Cum for me, baby. Cum for me and let me breed you again."

You screamed in pleasure as you came, fingers pressing at the back seat door and window. Tears spilled over and you thanked him repeatedly as you felt his seed filling you while he grunted and moaned in satisfaction.

Leon grunted as he released deep inside you, his hot cum painting your walls. He held you close, making sure not a drop escaped as he pumped you full.
"That's it, take it all," he rasped, his chest heaving. "Take every drop of my cum. It's all yours now. You're going to be carrying my babies, and you're going to love every second of it."
He stayed buried inside you, his cock still twitching as he filled you up with his thick seed. He kissed away your tears, his hands caressing your stomach and breasts possessively.
"You're mine, Y/n. Mine to fuck, mine to love, mine to keep. No one else's."

"I love you, Leon....."
You were panting. Spent anf exhausted.

Leon kissed your lips softly, his expression tender despite his earlier roughness. "I love you too, baby," he murmured, finally pulling out and watching as his cum leaked out of you.
He reached over to grab some napkins from the cup holder, cleaning up your poor satisfied pussy.

"Thank you...."
You whispered, relaxing as you went limp.

"Don't thank me yet," he smirked, tucking himself back into his pants and fixing his clothes. "I'm not done with you. I need to make sure that every time you see Chris, you'll remember who you belong to and that I'm going to knock you up over and over again."
He helped you fix your dress and then pulled you onto his lap, wrapping his arms around your waist.
"We're going to have to get a bigger house soon, with twins on the way."

You looked at the jewelry store through the windshield as you leaned into his affections.
"Can I pick whatever I want...?"

Leon followed your gaze and chuckled, his hand rubbing soothing circles on your back. "Of course you can, princess. You can have anything you want as long as it's not Chris. I'll buy you the biggest, most expensive ring in there, and you can wear it proudly while you're showing off your baby bump."
He nuzzled your neck, his fingers tracing the hickeys he left behind. "And don't forget, I still have to pick out your wedding dress and plan the wedding. I want to make sure it's perfect for my future wife."

Your heart fluttered with affection and joy. You closed your eyes and rested against him, letting out a content sigh.

"I'm looking forward to it..."

You closed your eyes, letting yourself rest for just a moment before the rest of your lives together.

It was going to be wonderful.
