Chapter Text
Act I
The skies over Elbaph churned with unnatural fury.
Thunder cracked like war drums, and the ground trembled beneath the feet of giants and pirates alike. The Straw Hat crew stood shoulder to shoulder with the warriors of Elbaph, eyes locked on the horizon where shadows twisted into shapes no one dared name.
IMU had arrived — cloaked in divine malice, now revealed as God Knight Gunko.
"I'm extremely disappointed in you, God Knights," IMU hissed. "How dare you fail your mission."
She raised her hand. "Let's end this now."
A wave of Conqueror's Haki exploded across Elbaph.
The air grew heavy. Even the bravest giants faltered. The God Knights — celestial enforcers cloaked in armor that shimmered like starlight — stood behind IMU like statues of death.
Far from the battle, Nami stood near the cliff's edge, her fingers brushing the hilt of her clima-tact. But her eyes weren't on the enemy.
They were in the wind.
It had shifted.
Not just in direction — in tone. It whispered of endings. Of sacrifice.
--
In the Underworld of Elbaph
Deep beneath the surface, Zoro and Sanji released Prince Loki from his chains.
Luffy stepped forward. "Now that you're free… what do you plan to do?"
Loki grinned, wild-eyed. "Cause chaos. That Haki up there? Something's brewing. Something dangerous. I wonder if that red-haired loser is there. I owe him a good ass-whooping."
Luffy smirked. "Let's go!"
"Wait, you idiots!" Gaban shouted.
Chopper's voice trembled. "Don't move! You're critically injured!"
Gaban locked eyes with Luffy. "Straw Hat boy… I don't think strength alone will save you. That thing up there — it's not something you just fight and win. That Haki… it can kill you."
Luffy's gaze hardened. "I already died fighting Kaido. I don't fear death."
Gaban coughed. "Even if it costs the lives of your friends?"
Luffy's anger flared. "What does that mean?!"
Gaban sighed. "You're bold, and I admire that. But sometimes the world doesn't need a jokester. It needs a hero."
Luffy stepped closer. "I'm no hero. I'm a pirate. I fight who I want, sail where I want, and eat all the meat I want. If someone takes that from me… I might as well be dead."
Gaban chuckled, lowering his head. "Then listen to me, pirate. All choices have consequences. Please… save Elbaph."
He collapsed.
Chopper rushed to his side. "He's okay! Just unconscious."
Loki scoffed. "Save Elbaph? What a joke. This place needs a disaster to humble their lowly selves."
He turned. "I'm going up. Straw Hat — you coming?"
Sanji lit his cigarette. "Don't take that old geezer's words to heart, Luffy. We're strong. Everyone will be okay."
Zoro looked at Chopper. "You coming?"
Chopper shook his head. "I'll stay. You'll need me at full strength after this battle."
Zoro grinned. "Sounds like a plan."
Luffy looked up at the sky, watching Loki climb. He felt the intense Haki. Gaban's warning echoed in his mind.
My actions could cost the lives of my crew.
He slapped his cheeks. "I gotta get up there."
He exhaled hard through his nose. "Let's go, guys. Chopper — we'll come get you when it's done."
Chopper smiled. "Good luck! If he wakes up, I'll join you."
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji leapt toward the surface.
Luffy felt goosebumps. This is unlike me.
"Zoro! Sanji! Let's end this quickly."
They both smiled. "Yes, Captain."
--
Dark clouds swirled. Screams echoed. Terror rose across Elbaph.
IMU looked skyward. "It's almost done. If they won't listen, they might as well be dead. What's the purpose of giants if they won't obey? Such a waste."
She released another wave of Conqueror's Haki.
Luffy launched forward, Gear Fifth crackling. "Gomu Gomu no Kong Gun!"
IMU didn't flinch. She warped the air, collapsing the punch mid-flight.
Zoro attacked from behind. "Three-Sword Style: Rengoku Oni Giri!"
Sanji spun through the air. "Diable Jambe: Hell Memories!"
Their combined strike shattered part of IMU's barrier.
Loki hurled his war axe. It struck true — but IMU caught it midair, crushing it.
"You fight like gods," she said. "But you are still mortal and shall die as one."
Luffy surged again with Gear Second. IMU dodged and countered, sending him flying.
Zoro and Sanji attacked in tandem, knocking IMU to the ground.
"How dare you insects touch me," she snarled.
Arrows burst from her body, aimed at Zoro.
"Not on my watch!" Sanji kicked the arrow — but it seared his leg with unbearable pain.
"Ahhh!" Sanji collapsed.
Zoro reached for him — another arrow slammed him into the earth.
"ZORO! SANJI!" Luffy screamed.
Gear Fifth activated.
IMU shows no emotion at this change.
Luffy's hair turned white. His body shimmered. The Drums of Liberation echoed.
Before he could finish transforming, IMU punched him mid-air, sending him flying toward the sea.
She followed.
"How did someone like you get THAT Devil Fruit?" she snarled.
Luffy, dazed, saw the ocean rushing toward him. His eyes bulging cartoonishly.
He summons a cloud beneath his feet, bouncing back. "Whew! I almost died!" He laughed.
Then he spots IMU.
He chuckles, "You messed with the wrong one."
IMU stares coldly. "You shouldn't have been born."
Luffy launched himself at her. The battle resumed.
Somewhere on the battlefront
Robin summoned arms. "Clutch!" But the knight dissolved and reformed behind her.
Usopp sniped. "Exploding Star!" His shot cracked a helmet — the knight laughed.
Brook danced. "Soul Solid!" He froze a leg. Franky blasted through the chest.
Jinbe slammed a knight into the earth. "Fish-Man Karate: Vagabond Drop!"
But for every knight they struck down, two more emerged — puppets pulled by invisible strings.
Robin gasped. "This will never end…"
Brook nodded. "Not until Luffy-san handles that demon."
Jinbe shouted, "Trust in Luffy-kun! While he fights, we protect the village and help the children!"
"Right!" they yelled, charging again.
--
Elbaph Village
Chains shattered beneath Elbaph.
Prince Loki emerged — tall, wild-eyed, cloaked in fury. He had killed his father, King Harold. Some called it justice. Most called it betrayal.
The giants froze.
"That's Loki…" one whispered. "He's supposed to be dead."
"He's a traitor," another muttered. "He hates Elbaph."
Loki's voice thundered. "I may hate this cursed land — but I hate HIM more."
He points at IMU.
"I'll fight beside anyone who wants to burn the World Government to ash."
Loki turns and spots a figure far from the battle... someone on the cliff.
--
Nami had separated from the group, trying to wake the children.
She saw them — sleepwalking, whispering nightmares. Demons rose from their shadows.
She felt the wind shift again.
No attack can stop this. Only protection.
Zeus emerged. "Namiiiiii! I'm not ready! Please don't do what I think you will! You won't live!"
"We haven't practiced enough!"
"Zeus… what else can I do?" Nami whispered. "It's either we die trying or die by demons. I refuse to die by demons."
Zeus trembled. "How will I tell the others?"
Nami smiled. "It'll be okay, Zeus."
"But Nami… I'm scared."
"I am too."
She felt the chaos. No one noticed the power she was about to unleash.
"I have no choice."
She closed her eyes and summoned everything — weather knowledge, ancient maps, whispers of the sea. Her body glowed with unnatural light.
She activated the hidden core of the ancient weapon.
A barrier erupted — a shimmering dome wrapping Elbaph in golden light.
Villagers pointed. "What is that?"
The world went quiet.
Sanji and Zoro looked up.
Prince Loki looked up.
Robin scanned the battlefield. "Where's Nami?"
Usopp, Chopper, Brook, and Jinbe looked around, confused.
Then they felt it.
An immense pressure.
Cold sweat ran down every neck. People began to flee.
A God Knight sneered. "This barrier will not hold."
Shamrock smiled. "We are immortal. Nothing will happen to us."
Robin's voice trembled. "What do you mean?"
Luffy looked up, eyes wide, sweat dripping. "What is this?"
IMU answered: "Your graveyard."
The wind howled.
The beam struck.
And the world went white.
