really like the fact that Odysseus is manipulating his own protection squad so that when the morally questionable parts show up later on he can convince them he was in the right or at least had no choice. The fact that he got Athena to forgive him immediately after my goodbye to the point where she’s angry on his behalf for what is undoubtedly his own fault is genius.Comment Actions

Percy Jackson is many things: part god, part human, Hero of Olympus, Savior of the Gods, Annabeth Chase's boyfriend, Sally Jackson's son. He is also, whether he likes it or not, part of the Royal Family of Atlantis. Because Poseidon is in charge and if he says Percy's a prince, the rest of the court has to agree.
They don't necessarily need to like it.

Ch 2 don’t know. I was in Tartarus and-” Percy stopped. There was no way he was going to tell Triton of all people about what had happened in Tartarus.
“Tartarus?” Triton frowned. He had not heard of Perseus falling into Tartarus. He should not have survived that. Even gods did not roam those lands and for a paltry demigod like Perseus? It should have been a death sentence.Yet, he was standing in
Ch 9 “Put the trident down slowly,” Percy growled. “Or I swear on the Styx, I won’t hesitate to run you through. Hazel’s more important to me than you.”
“That demigod had the audacity to attack me,” Triton snapped, pressing his trident a little closer to her neck. In retaliation, he felt the point of Riptide press against his heart and the dagger dig into his skin.
“She thought you might hurt me. I can’t say it’s a misguided thought. But trust me, Triton, even father’s anger wouldn’t stop me from killing you if you hurt her. Let’s not forget which of us can control ichor. Or survived Tartarus. You’re a minor god. You’re not even a challenge.”

do love the idea that this entire generation of demigods see the exploits of Percy, see Percy as a person, and decide that yes, they can infact be on the same level of chaos, and if that means bringing gods to their knees then so be it. I just think the idea that Percy this dumbass who might be the son of one of the stronger gods yes is still a fucking moron but if he can go above and beyond the limits of what's expected through his father then they bloody well can too.Holy extended sentence

Summary
Percy really should have known better than to stand near two arguing gods, but in his defense, he was distracted by the sight of the original salt water spring his father apparently kept. The same one from the famed Athens competition.
When a sibling bonding activity gone wrong sends him back in time, Percy finds himself in a period right after the competition. As in, he hears Athena being named the winner, right after.
Will he be able to get back to his own time, or will he be stuck in the past forever? And will that stupid sun god, please stop sticking to him all the time?!
