“If you want privacy and calm, I recommend staying at Huha Hill. This is the best reviewed hotel of the resort, with individual villas and, for the most expensive suites, a private pool.”
Kinich stood at the front of the ferry, wind in his dark hair and arms crossed, as he turned to his new travelling companions from Sumeru. The first one was a soft-spoken fox hybrid, eyes wide with curiosity and sharp wits. The second one was a tan-skinned man with white hair and intimidating red eyes dressed in a jackal-eared cape. They had come for a few days of vacation, as many other tourists did. Without any surprise, since its opening, the Easybreeze Holiday Resort has been a huge success so far. Its laid-back, festive atmosphere and colorful environment attracted all kinds of travelers from all over Teyvat.
“Thank you again for your help, mister Kinich,” Tighnari nodded with a smile. “We are lucky to have stumbled upon you before arriving. You surely spared us a lot of trouble finding a room at the central market.”
“Please, don’t mention it, I merely gave you some advice. And you don’t need to use honorifics with me, Master Tighnari. We should be around the same age, right?”
“Then, you can also call me Tighnari,” the fox replied pleasantly.
“Alright, then.”
Tighnari nodded again in satisfaction, and the sun caught in his eyes. Cyno watched from the sidelines as his husband and apparently new best friend chatted. He leaned against the rail.
Ok. Cyno wasn’t pouting. He really wasn’t. But Tighnari promised they could play a few rounds of Genius Invokation TCG during the ferry ride. Instead, he was batting his pretty eyelashes at a perfect Natlanese stranger with the weirdest saurian companion Cyno had ever seen.
So much for their romantic vacation—with Collei tagging along.
Cyno sighed, slumping against the rail and closing his eyes to feel the sea wind on his face. The temperature was perfect and not a cloud could be seen in the clear, vast blue sky. At a distance, Cyno could see the shape of the Easybreeze Resort coming clearer and bigger the more their boat sliced the waves.
He glanced at his husband to find that Kinich and he had sat down a few feet away from him—at one of the deck tables the onboard coffee shop offered—to talk about the endemic species of the Resort. Tighnari’s excited tone was unmistakable.
Cyno sighed again and reached into his pocket to mindlessly play with his TCG deck.
He didn’t plan to let himself be consumed by such childish jealousy—Tighnari and him were literally married, for Archons’ sake!—but his naturally protective and possessive nature was challenging him. And they haven’t even started their vacation yet.
At some point, he heard Tighnari laugh out loud at something Kinich had told him. The fox leaned toward his new friend, casually placing a hand on the other man’s shoulder. Kinich did nothing to pull back. Kuhul Ajaw was floating around, making wide gestures and yelling something about incompetent human beings.
Cyno had had enough.
He pushed away from the railing and strode toward the duo with resolute determination.
“Tighnari, we are approaching the port. I believe we should head back to our cabin to gather our belongings,” he stated almost imperiously.
Tighnari arched a brow, unimpressed, but Kinich immediately stood and bowed slightly. “Ah, my apologies for keeping you both occupied beyond my intention, General Mahamatra. I also should get going. I have quite a lot of deliveries waiting for me inside the ferry’s storage rooms. If you’ll excuse me, Tighnari, General.”
Kinich nodded toward the couple before slipping away, his talkative companion close on his heels.
Cyno turned to Tighnari. “My love—”
“We still have around 15 minutes before arriving at port, Cyno,” his husband interrupted him, arms crossed.
Cyno blinked. “Well, I figured it would be best to not run around last minute, right?”
Tighnari studied intently him for a minute, before shrugging. He started walking toward the passengers’ floor. “Right. Come on, then, before people start flooding the hallways and Collei gets lost.”
Tighnari didn’t know where to look first as his eyes darted left and right, passing over a multitude of flowers and plants he had seen only in books. He couldn’t wait to document them and maybe—with the authorization of the Resort’s staff—bring home a few samples.
Beside him, Collei was just as starry-eyed, and her hands shook from having to restrain herself from taking her notepad out and starting to scribble.
Cyno watched with amusement as cute little creatures made of some sort of colorful gelatine darted around on the wooden path they were taking toward Huha Hill.
“Those Ashas are adorable,” he commented just as one of them threw paintballs toward a gigantic fresco drawn directly on the side of a cliff. Tourists and locals alike cheered at it. The creature landed with a salto on the water surface and proceeded to wiggle happily, obviously basking under the attention.
“How about bringing one back home for you, Collei?” Cyno joked, and with how seriously he said it, anyone who wasn’t his family would have looked at him in horror at such a proposition.
Tighnari and Collei merely rolled their eyes at his antics. “I’m not a child anymore,” Collei grumbled. “And taking an Asha out of the Resort is illegal anyway.”
Cyno smiled faintly at her—she resembled Tighnari more and more with each passing day. He couldn’t be prouder. The man in question gripped his rolling suitcase more firmly and resumed walking.
“How far is Huha Hill, exactly? Kinich told us it was just north of the market, but I can’t see it yet.”
“If you feel fatigued, I can carry your suitcase,” Cyno offered, even though he already had his own.
Tighnari shook his head. “No need, Cyno, but thanks for offering. I’m not that tired yet.”
A bit of silence. Then: “… You let Kinich carry it earlier when we were alighting the ferry.”
“Well, yes, because I had my hands full with a baby stroller, remember?”
Cyno gave a half-hearted harrumph for answer. Tighnari whipped around in disbelief. “Are you actually jealous, Cyno?”
“… No.”
“Yes, you are. Must I remind you that we’ve been married for years? Do you think I wouldn’t notice? First Sethos, now him?”
Now, an amused smile stretched Tighnari’s lips. He could see a flush warming his husband’s tanned cheeks. How cute.
“I am not jealous,” Cyno petulantly stood his ground. “Geez, can’t a husband be courteous anymore?”
A few steps ahead of them, Collei giggled, amused by their light banter, but didn’t slow down, resolutely pulling her suitcase behind herself.
Tighnari chuckled and skipped closer to Cyno, planting a smacking kiss on his cheek—which turned even redder. “Seeing you like this makes me feel somewhat happy. And maybe you could keep some of that… enthusiastic energy for tonight?” the fox whispered into his ear with a Cheshire grin.
His verdant tail came up to brush around Cyno’s abdomen in a suggestive caress. Tighnari smirk widened when he saw his husband tense and flames ignite in striking red eyes.
Mmh, yes. Tighnari could definitely play with that.
“And here is your private housing, dear guests!” the employee announced cheerfully as she opened the wooden door, leading them inside a lovely living room with mostly wooden furniture painted in bright colors.
Cyno took in the soft cushions and small kitchenette, nodding with approval while the employee opened the blinds and Tighnari perused the plate of snacks the hotel had left for them on the counter. Collei stretched with a contented smile, rolling her suitcase toward the dining table facing the wide bay window leading to the terrasse.
“Do not hesitate to call the reception if you need anything,” the lady returned from the bedroom and handed the keys to Cyno with a courteous smile. “The single bedroom is on the first floor. The parental suite is just to your right.”
“Thank you.”
The lady trotted out of the house, delicately closing the door behind her.
“I’ll unpack my things!” Collei declared, heading for the spiral staircase.
“Collei, let me carry your suitcase upstairs,” Cyno offered, and didn’t wait for his adopted daughter’s answer before grabbing her belongings.
“Thanks, Cyno,” she nodded gratefully before excitedly climbing the stairs, eager to discover her room for the next week.
Tighnari followed them. Collei’s room was lovely and surprisingly roomy for a bedroom under the roof. She even had her own little balcony, and the room was sufficiently far from the parental room for her to stay up late without inconveniencing others (or the other way around… Cyno thought in spite of himself).
After making sure Collei had everything she needed, the couple returned downstairs. Tighnari ventured into their bedroom, Cyno behind him. The room was pleasantly furnished—all in wood and vibrant colors—and even though it wasn’t necessarily to Cyno’s liking, he found that he quite liked the laid-back atmosphere it gave to the ensemble.
Tighnari bent down at the foot of the bed, picking one of the Asha-shaped towels left there by the staff.
“Such handicraft,” he commented with appreciation. “And there’s a lot of endemic flora all around the island, too. I can’t wait to explore. Cyno, I think we just found my favorite area of the nation,” he continued happily.
He made to turn around to face his partner, but Cyno glued himself to his back, face burying into his neck. The white-haired man left a kiss just above his shoulder.
“We’ll have all the time in the world after I have my way with you right on this bed,” Cyno slurred hotly, trailing kisses up to where Tighnari’s ears would have been if he were human.
As expected, the fox shivered in his arms, and Cyno couldn’t help but smirk with approval at the reaction. Thinking himself victorious, he allowed his hands to snake up his husband’s hips and dip under his shirt, sliding sensually across soft skin and up, up—
Fingers suddenly closed around his wrists, yanking his hands away from their prize.
Tighnari turned in his embrace, leveling him with an unimpressed look. “Sorry, Cyno, but I won’t let you waste our day away like this. We still have time to explore before the sun sets. I don’t want to miss any opportunities. And Collei is in the house, you lummox!”
Tighnari gracefully stepped away from Cyno—ignoring the red dusting his cheeks and the way his tail wagged. Cyno almost wanted to get offended and counter that no, having sex could never be a waste of opportunities, but eventually decided against it, sighing and following Tighnari outside. And he didn’t want to traumatize their daughter, that was true.
They made the mistake of going to Wavey Bay.
They realized the moment they stepped on the sand that it probably was the most popular spot of the Resort after Tete Island.
All around the trio, tourists in swimwear, Ashas, staff and saurians ran around, laughing and playing. Next to the high cliffs, paint balls soared through the air without ever stopping. Inside the water, people surfed or swam, the whistles of the many lifeguards resonating all throughout the large area. Pulsating music came loudly from the giant Koholasaurus in the center of the bay.
Tighnari wanted to suggest going somewhere else, somewhere calmer, but Collei had those huge eyes, and how could he ever refuse her anything when she got like this?
For the next few hours, the little family tried several attractions and ended up covered in paint. Cyno kept on winning prizes thanks to his unmatched physical prowess and skills, showering Collei and Tighnari in plushies and various souvenirs offered by the staff. He didn’t make a show of it all, but his puffed-out chest and furtive glances toward Tighnari already spoke volumes. As for himself, Tighnari thought he did pretty well in shooting games, earning a few things here and there.
Since healing from her Eleazar, Collei had gotten only stronger and more confident with her bow. She didn’t win much, but wore a satisfied expression when they decided to call it a day and walked back toward the hotel, even adding a little skip to her steps.
“You really did too much,” Tighnari remarked with a smile, turning to Cyno and hugging the three saurian plushies he was gifted against himself.
Cyno himself was carrying four bags of hard-won goodies. “For a warrior of my level, this was but a warm-up,” Cyno shrugged nonchalantly, head high. If he was a bird, Tighnari had no doubt his feathers would be all puffed up right now.
What a lummox, Tighnari thought. As if he still needed to impress me like that after years of marriage.
Still, the fox couldn’t deny the happy swish of his tail and the flutter of his heart when Cyno turned sideways and gave him one of his dangerously seductive, boyish smirks. Something like warm lava pooled low in his guts…
Distracted as he was by the sight of his handsome husband, he didn’t watch before him and stumbled on a gap between the wooden planks of the boardwalk. A small ‘oh’ escaped him as he felt himself fall, both Cyno and Collei turning to him in alarm. He managed to right himself without much struggle, but a plushie escaped him in the momentum. The yamkusaurus rolled on the planks and toward the edge of the boardwalk. It should have fallen into the sea, but a bright green and yellow harpoon suddenly lunged after it from behind Tighnari, catching the plushie just as it was falling.
The harpoon disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, and Tighnari sharply turned on his heels to find Kinich standing right there, the plushie in hand and a laughing Kuhul Ajaw hovering around him.
“Saved in extremis,” Kinich said, handing the plushie back to Tighnari and grabbing Ajaw by his tail to shut him up.
“Well played, Kinich,” Tighnari smiled in relief, ignoring the way the saurian started vociferating angrily. “Thank you so much.”
“It was nothing,” Kinich humbly replied with a slight bow. He threw a glance toward Collei and Cyno. “It looks like you guys already enjoyed a lot of attractions today.”
“The Resort is lovely, we all had so much fun,” Tighnari agreed. Kinich fell in step beside them, and Tighnari happily started a conversation with the Natlanese. Even though Kinich was a man of few words, Tighnari found him to be perfectly pleasant and easy to be around. He had years of experience with this type of introvert, after all. He even managed to pull a few smiles—albeit nervous—from Collei.
“I still have a few packages to deliver tomorrow, but if you guys are free in the day after that, what do you say to visiting Tete Island together?” the man suggested as they finally stopped by the hotel entrance.
Collei perked up mid-yawn. “Oh, I really want to go there! I heard they have strange flower fields over there!” she exclaimed, and turned to her adoptive parents with big, hopeful eyes. “Can we go, please?”
Cyno and Tighnari looked at each other. “It would be a pleasure to have you as a guide, Kinich,” Tighnari agreed.
A few moments later, Kinich and Ajaw took their leave, and the little family finally retired for the night.
“Ugh, I think I ate too many skewers at Wavey Bay,” Collei complained, hands on her tummy. “Imma sleep like a real baby tonight.” She turned toward Tighnari and Cyno with a smile. “Thank you for these vacation, Cyno, Tighnari. I love you.”
She hugged them both and disappeared upstairs with a tired “good night.”
Finally, Tighnari let himself sigh audibly, stretched a little, and turned to his husband.
Cyno had been silent for a solid 15 minutes now.
“Cyno,” the fox started with a resigned voice, “you have absolutely nothing to be jealous of. You know that, right?”
As if caught red-handed, the man startled and flashed his partner a guilty look. “I know. I wish I wasn’t like that, really… I’m sorry, Nari.”
Tighnari studied his husband for a few moments, then sighed again and gently took him by the hand to lead him toward the bedroom. He locked the door behind them and leaned against it.
Cyno looked at him with confusion.
“I married the dumbest man in Sumeru, I swear,” Tighnari said with a fond small before taking hold of Cyno’s top and pulling them chest to chest.
“Nari?” the white-haired asked, a little lost, but was promptly silenced by the feeling of the fox’s lips on his.
Cyno let out a little sound of surprise at first, but effortlessly answered the gesture, melting into Tighnari and caging him against the door, one hand coming up to cradle his jaw and the other leaning against the wooden surface.
They kissed slow and deep, Tighnari sucking Cyno’s tongue into his mouth, making them both sigh in pleasure. When the fox pulled away for a breath, panting hotly in that intimate space between them, Cyno didn’t hesitate to bring his lips to his cheek, his jaw, before trailing lower, mouth heavy with desire and love.
“Cyno,” Tighnari whimpered softly, tilting his head back to give him more access. His tail thumped against the door in anticipation. He could feel heat blooming on his face and lower in his body.
Cyno laved his tongue against his pulse point—feeling its frantic rhythm—before nibbling at his exposed shoulder. When did the man even manage to slip Tighnari’s shirt off?
“Cyno,” Tighnari tried again in a breathy voice, struggling to stay coherent under his lover’s skillful ministrations. “I was supposed to—ah—I was supposed to be the one to—”
Cyno finally stepped back, watching with dark, hungry eyes at the way Tighnari’s collarbones and shoulder bloomed exquisite shades of red and pink after him.
“Tell me what you had in mind,” he whispered, pulling the fox toward the bed.
Dizzy, Tighnari let himself be gently pushed down onto the comfortable mattress, humming in approval as Cyno undressed him. He didn’t answer for a while, choosing instead to watch his pants and underwear be discarded somewhere on the floor, and staring eagerly at the way Cyno stripped in front of him—salivating at the sight of tanned muscles and that white, seductive line of hair starting from Cyno’s lower belly and trailing toward his most intimate parts, already standing at attention. His husband resembled a god under the soft moonlight filtering through the window.
Once they were both free of their clothes, Cyno turned toward him, eyes burning like two pools of lava, and Tighnari instinctively parted his tights, ears lowering in submission. Cyno climbed over him.
“Tell me,” the man repeated more firmly, bringing each hand next to the other’s head.
“I wanted to be the one to bring you pleasure, tonight. Maybe use my mouth, or something,” Tighnari mumbled and looked to the side, cheeks flaming with embarrassment.
Cyno smiled and suddenly lowered himself to grind their hips together. Tighnari moaned, trying to hide his face into the pillow to quiet himself.
On a normal night, Cyno would have prevented him from doing it, loving Tighnari’s sounds of pleasure and the knowledge of being the only one allowed to witness him like that, but he was acutely aware of the fact that their teenage daughter was sleeping in the same house, even if quite far away.
He leaned toward a fluffy ear and nibbled at it, making more of those pretty noises slip from Tighnari’s lips. “You’ll have all the time in the world to indulge in it later,” he promised sultrily. “For now, I need to be inside you. I’m desperate.”
Tighnari straightened and glanced at the nightstand, wondering if the hotel staff dared to add lube in there. Cyno opened the wooden drawer and squinted his eyes to see through the darkness. His hand fumbled in it before coming back on top of Tighnari with an amused smile on his lips. A small, hourglass-shaped bottle caught the moonlight, and Tighnari let out a small laugh at the cartoonish drawings on the object.
Everything fell naturally, after that. Tighnari closed his eyes and buried his face in Cyno’s neck while his husband laid comfortably between his spread tights. His hands roamed the strong planes of Cyno’s back and abs—appreciating the way curves and scars tensed under his fingertips. Meanwhile, his left leg was gently lifted up, calloused fingers digging slightly into the back of his tight, and Cyno leaned over to kiss at the exposed skin, opening his mouth to suck at the flesh. His other hand, already slick with lube, came to pet at his exposed entrance.
A whole-body shudder broke through Tighnari’s the moment Cyno’s first finger breached him. Both hands came to tug at white locks as he rocked his body against it.
Cyno’s face stayed pressed against his tight, apparently content to make a meal out of it. Not that Tighnari complained.
Soon, the fox needed more. “Cyno,” he whined lowly, grinding more urgently against the unique finger moving in and out of him.
His husband didn’t answer, but a second finger immediately entered him, eagerly stretching his insides. Tighnari put a hand over his own mouth to silence the lewd noises coming from himself.
The moment a third finger joined the others inside him, Tighnari yanked Cyno up by the hair—making the man groan in both pleasure and pain—and kissed him hard. At that point, Cyno’s hand was thrusting deep and hard, but his fingers kept dodging the most precious spot inside Tighnari, teasing and toying with him.
The fox growled in warning against his lover’s mouth, hands tightening painfully in his hair. Cyno answered with a low chuckle. That jackal was clearly having fun.
“What happened to ‘I’m desperate’?” Tighnari hissed.
Cyno suddenly retracted his hands. The wet squelch it made sent a flush of embarrassment and arousal alike in Tighnari’s cheeks. Cyno kissed them. “I forgot, my bad,” he smirked.
Tighnari lightly punched him on the left peck with a pout. He vaguely considered punishing him, but all thoughts flew from his head the moment Cyno straightened and brought a hand to his own arousal. His eyes—dark and predatory—never left Tighnari’s as he touched himself with the remnants of lube he used to prepare him.
The fox could do nothing but stare, even more turned on than earlier, if possible. Eventually, Cyno crawled back on top of him. “Ready?” he asked in that deep, commanding voice Tighnari loved so much.
The man nodded, hands locking around Cyno’s shoulders. The Matra gripped tightly at his hip, aligned himself, and finally pushed inside.
They kissed and moaned into each other’s mouth. Tighnari screwed his eyes shut hard enough to see stars behind his eyelids. The feeling was glorious. No matter how many times they joined together in such way, the feeling of Cyno sliding right home always made lust, desire and love surge through him. His legs came to rest around the man’s waist, urging him deeper.
“Fuck,” Cyno growled when his front met the meat of Tighnari’s bottom.
“Cyno, ah, so good,” Tighnari mewled against his lips.
Cyno swore again, and didn’t lose another second before he started moving.
It started slow, a delicate grind of his hips to taste the waters, to make sure his lover got used to his size. But they’ve been together for years, Tighnari’s tight channel already carved to his shape at this point, and the fox moaned, undulating his own hips to encourage Cyno to go harder.
Tighnari smiled almost triumphantly when Cyno decided to lose restraint. He buried his face into Tighnari’s shoulder and bit down. A warning of what was to come.
Tighnari turned his face to the side and only had time to put bring a pillow to his mouth before Cyno pulled out almost all the way—only the tip resting snugly inside—and brought them together again in one hard, deep thrust.
Tighnari’s eyes rolled back in pure bliss.
After that, the only sounds that could be heard in the room were those of skin against skin, the wet, lewd noises of where they joined, and their muffled sounds of rapture.
Both of Cyno’s hands had a deathly grip on the fox’s hips as he lost himself in the sin of flesh, his body like a piston against Tighnari.
Distantly, Tighnari hoped the bed wasn’t making too much noise, but he couldn’t bring himself to focus on it. Not when that tight knot deep inside him started to unfurl, his toes curling in pleasure and his nails drawing angry red lines all over Cyno’s shoulders and down his back.
“Nari, so pretty, so good around me,” Cyno groaned against his ear, never stopping his movements.
Tighnari came hard.
His untouched member twitched pathetically as he squirmed and clenched down on Cyno. Fireworks danced in his eyes, and he felt as if electro travelled from deep in his guts all the way to his brain.
Only the pillow between his teeth saved them from waking the whole hotel with his moans.
Tighnari must have blacked out for a few moments there; for when he blinked his eyes open, Cyno was orgasming inside of him, the fox’s name like a prayer on his lips. Tighnari watched with awe and adoration at the way pleasure washed over Cyno, his muscular body tensing up and shivering in bliss. He felt pride in the knowledge that it was him who brought his husband to such a state of completion.
Cyno collapsed on top of him, panting. Tighnari’s arms came to close around him.
They stayed like that long enough for the dark-haired to start dozing off. But eventually, Cyno stretched and stood up, carefully pulling out. Tighnari didn’t miss the way sunset-colored eyes stared longer than necessary as his essence poured out of his lover’s intimate entrance.
Really, Tighnari’s husband was the most dumb, possessive man of all of Sumeru. He smiled to himself, watching Cyno disappear into the bathroom to have a bath started.
Cyno came back to lift Tighnari up in a bridal style, walking with him in his arms as if he weighted nothing. Tighnari kissed his cheek with affection. “I love you.”
Cyno didn’t answer, catching the fox’s mouth in a chaste kiss instead. He didn’t have too; his smile and the quickening of his heartbeat under Tighnari’s palm were answers enough.
“What?” Collei exclaimed, standing from her seat at the lunch table. “You saw the Traveler and Paimon? Aw, man, I wish I went with you to Colorfall Cliffs,” she whined.
Tighnari rolled his eyes. “I’m sure we’ll have to occasion to meet them before we return to Sumeru,” he said, patting the girl’s head. “They didn’t say much anyway. We only took a few pictures, and they left.”
Cyno watched from his seat, a small smile on his face as his husband threw him a wink, their daughter complaining some more before settling, shoving a fish nugget inside her mouth with a pout.
“Collei, are you telling me you’d prefer being with them rather than playing TCG with me?” Cyno asked with a fake hurt look.
A few years back, Collei would have recoiled, but she grew up to be just like Tighnari, and stopped falling for Cyno’s teasing a long time ago. “Well, of course,” she answered with a nod and a serious expression.
Tighnari laughed proudly, and Cyno sighed in dejection.
“How dare you laugh without inviting the Great Kuhul Ajaw to join in on the fun?!” a terrible voice suddenly rose behind them.
Cyno turned in time to see the saurian fly toward them. He raised his spoon, ready to fight him with it, but Kinich beat him to it, catching Ajaw by his tail and shoving the creature into his pocket. He promptly closed the zipper, effectively trapping him inside.
“Sorry about that,” Kinich huffed. “He had a bad morning.” Then, he turned to them: “Good morning, everyone,” he greeted.
“Good morning, Kinich. You’re just in time for lunch. Please, sit.”
Tighnari gestured toward the only available seat at the table: right next to Cyno.
Kinich very subtly tensed, but Cyno’s trained eyes didn’t miss it. He cleared his throat and nodded toward the man. “It would be a pleasure if you joined us,” he agreed with his husband.
The Natlanese blinked once, and relaxed, a slight smile blooming on his lips. “Thank you, General Mahamatra,” he answered politely before sitting down.
“No need for formalities between us. We are friends now, are we not?” Cyno asked with what he hoped was a pleasant voice.
Kinich paused at Cyno’s change of attitude. “Alright, Cyno.”
Collei smiled brightly at them. “Kinich, you should show your TCG deck to Cyno,” she said happily, clapping her hands together.
Cyno perked up, eyes wide, and turned sharply toward Kinich. “You play Genius Invokation TCG?”
“I do,” Kinich took a deck from his pocket. Cyno felt excitement rise within him. He really did misjudge Kinich!
Tighnari chuckled. “Looks like I’m the one who should start worrying now.”
Kinich threw him a confused look, but didn’t have time to ask more; Cyno was now all over him, asking about his cards and pulling out his own deck from Archons know where.
Under the table, Tighnari’s tail wagged with happiness, and his wedding ring shone under the morning sun.
