Summary:

Rudo Surebrec was accused of murdering his father and sent down to the pit. Instead of being surrounded by trash, he woke up in a tunnel filled people. He learned that he was in an exam, a hunters exam.

Now he is forced to survive on his own in this devilish exam. Rudo is alone in a completely different world.

Or is he?.

I fell in love with their fic, so I said fuck it and made my own :)

Chapter 1

 

Rudo was somewhere he wasn’t supposed to be.

 

He did not fall to the pits.

 

He was not back home.

 

He was in a tunnel.

 

With the walls rusty and tubes lining to the side, circle red lights.

 

People surrounding him with weapons.

 

But they were all minding their own business.

 

Seemingly waiting for something to happen.

 

He heard some people say something about a hunters exam.

 

What is this exam?.

 

Does it involve hunting?

 

Rudo was confused, scared even.

 

But most of all he was pissed.

 

The memories were fresh.

 

Of course they are, it was just a few hours ago.

 

So many things happen in such a short time.

 

He was sent to the pits after being accused of murdering his father.

 

And that accusation was very fucking wrong.

 

He did not kill his beloved father.

 

But he knows who did.

 

A masked intruder with a white cloak covering their body. 

 

And a dagger by their side, covered in a dark red color.

 

with his father on the ground, coughing out blood.

 

His eyes were soft even at a time like this.

 

“ make this shitty world a better place to live in-”

 

 

Those were the last words his father gave to him.

 

Those were the last words his father pleaded to him. 

 

Before he was murder.

 

Rudo watches all it happen, right in front of his eyes.

 

Then he was hanging just right above the drop.

 

His eyes scanned the crowd.

 

Looking for his friend.

 

But she just looked away and said words that fuel his rage.

 

And he was dropped.

 

Rapidly plumbing down.

 

The only thought he could process in that time was why.

 

Why did this happen to him?

 

Why did the universe hate him? 

 

Why now?

 

But those questions were left unanswered.

 

something more abnormal happened. 

 

When he fell down, passed the white mist and into a huge space.

 

Between the space was a dark humanoid creature.

 

It was massive. 

 

And it felt like it was staring at him.

 

He remembered feeling a chill go down his back.

 

Then he passed the space and into the clouds again.

 

Black spots formed around his vision and a ringing sound by his ears.

 

He blackout and woke up here.

 

He was leaning against the wall, unsteady and fuzzy.

 

Then a bean came up to him, handing him a badge. 

 

He thought he was crazy when he saw that.

 

But the green bean just gave him a badge then walked away with a smile.

 

He was more concerned about how he got here.

 

Surrounded by people with weapons.

 

But their shoulders weren’t tense, they were just waiting.

 

But waiting for what?.

 

He doesn’t know.

 

But stayed in the spot he woke up in and waited.

 

For what?.

 

For whatever the other people are waiting for.

 

He buried his face into his arms and exhaled shakily. 

 

He felt more calm than he was a while ago. 

 

The badge he had was on his clothes, right on his chest.

 

Rudo lifts his face and scans the crowd.

 

It’s been a few hours since he woke up here.

 

He lowered his legs and spread them out.

 

Arms crossed over his chest, as an attempt for comfort.

 

He closed his eyes and slightly moved his head down.

 

curls drooped over, covering half of his face.

 

A small nap sounds nice.

 

But the threat of people so near him made him tense.

 

So he settled down with just fiddleing with his badge on his chest. 

 

He glided his gloved fingers around the metal white circle object and hummed.

 

Everyone and thing around him was just a blurry, solely focused on the badge.

 

But that calm feeling quickly disappeared.

 

A loud and terror filled scream echoed throughout the tunnel. 

 

Rudo flinched hard.

 

What was that?!. 

 

He quickly pushed himself upward from the ground and scanned the crowd.

 

People's heads were turned to the left, which meant the sound came from that direction.

 

He turned his head and went deeper into the crowd of people.

 

He twisted his body to not bump anyone and caught sight of what looked like a man kneeled down with..his arms fading Into small flowers?.

 

Rudo eyes widen.

 

What the hell?.

 

How is that possible?.

 

“ my, how unusual “.

 

He blinked and turned his pupils toward the pink haired clown.

 

Yellow sharp eyes stared down at the whimpering man.

 

“ seems like this poor man's arms have turned into flower petals “ the smirk the clown wore grew.

 

His pale arms spread out halfway.

 

“ Now you see them, now you don’t “.

 

Rudo swallows nervously.

 

The clown looked and was dangerous, best to stay away from him. 

 

“ You should be more careful, “ the pale man said with a mocking tone.

 

The yellow eyes sharpened with an open smile. 

 

“ and do apologize if you bump into someone “.

 

Wait-

 

All that for bumping into him?.

 

Rudo stepped back and turned his body to walk away from the sight.

 

He needs to be more careful now that he’s seen that happen.

 

There were dangerous individuals here, he knows that.

 

But he didn’t think they were that dangerous?!.

 

He shivers and cups his palms over his arms.

 

God he just wants to go home.

 

But home is far from here, whatever here is.

 

Rudo leaned against the wall and exhaled.

 

His eyes glanced down at the ground.

 

He’s dreading the hunters exam.

 

He has no idea what it is.

 

But it has attracted lots of people for them to be here.

 

He tilted his head up and caught sight of a man coming towards him.

 

The middle aged man smiles and waves.

 

Rudo frowns.

 

Huh?.

 

“ You must be new to the exam right? “ the man asked.

 

“...yeah “.

 

The guy's smile widened.

 

“ my apologies, I should have introduced myself, I'm Tonpa! “.

 

Rudo crimson eyes narrowed “ Rudo “.

 

Tonpa dug into his bag and brought out two drinks.

 

“ It's best to be hydrated and prepared, yeah? “ he held out the drink.

 

Does this guy think he’s dumb?.

 

Rudo huffs “ no thanks, i don’t take drinks from strangers “.

 

Tonpa blinks and his smile slightly faded “ but aren’t you thirsty? “.

 

“ no “.

 

Short and simple.

 

Rudo watched as the man sighs and puts his drink back in his bag.

 

“ Alright kid, good luck on the exam “.

 

“ yeah “.

 

The man left.

 

Finally,

 

Rudo tilted his head back and stared at the metal above him. 

 

It was clear this man put something in the drink, 

 

-and who in their right mind would accept a drink from a stranger?.

 

A loud groaning sound made him look back down and blink.

 

Oh.

 

Guess there are some people who would take drinks from a stranger. 

 

He huffs and pulls at the collar of his hoodie.

 

It was actually getting pretty warm in here, or maybe it was just him.

 

He removed the badge and shoved it in his pocket.

 

He grabs the cloth and pulls it over his head, revealing a gray tank top over his frame.

 

Fresh air blows against his skin making him sigh in relief.

 

His gloved fingers folded his loose hoodie and hung it over his forearm.

 

Rudo fans himself and closes his eyes, enjoying the small breeze of air against his warm skin.

 

But he was interrupted by a very very loud ring alarm.

 

He squeaked and hiked his shoulder up.

 

What is it now?!.

 

He turned his head just in time to see a lanky and tall man with a mustache stand in front of a wall

 

A small creature was yanked back and towards the lanky man with a string.

 

The sound of grinding came from the wall sliding upwards.

 

“ I apologize for the delay “.

 

Rudo blinked and moved away from the wall.

 

Is the exam starting?.

 

“ the entry period for the hunters applicants is officially closed “.

 

Huh?.

 

“ so, with no further ado “.

 

The once calm but stiff air suddenly turned excited and suffocating.. 

 

“ The hunter exam will now begin “.

 

Rudo tensed up.

 

Oh shit.

Chapter 2

Now the updates are not this frequent, I just felt the need to post this.

Anyways enjoy.

Rudo snapped out of his panic daze when the people around him started walking forward.

 

Shit, he zones out.

 

Did he miss anything?.

 

He shook his head and lightly smacked his cheeks with his gloved palms. 

 

Focus and don’t panic.

 

He exhales and slides the hoodie off his forearm and instead wraps it around his waist before tying a knot. 

 

He drops his hands and tilt his head back up.

 

His legs move and follow the people in front.

 

His heart was pounding in his chest.

 

Just what is this exam?.

 

The unknown made him nervous.

 

He exhales shakily.

 

He should go more up front.

 

And keep an eye on the lanky man.

 

He sped up and moved past people.

 

It was actually a little hard to move a little up front.

 

So many people crowded in a tunnel.

 

He faltered in his step when people suddenly started speeding up.

Rudo gulps and moves his legs faster.

 

He caught sight of the examiner.

 

Wait- why the fuck is he moving like that?.

 

He wrinkled his nose in confusion.

 

The lanky man was swigging his limbs like a damn robot.

 

“ How rude of me. I neglected to introduce myself “.

 

Rudo perked up at the man’s voice.

 

“ I am Satotz, your examiner for the first phase of the exam “.

 

It’s starting. 

 

And rudo has never been more nervous than now.

 

“ it’s my responsibility to lead all of you to the second phase ”.

 

A male voice spoke up “ second?, whatever happened to the first “.

 

“ the first phase is already underway “. 

 

What.

 

Rudo blinked.

 

Mumbles echoed throughout the tunnel from the crowd of people.

 

“ the first phase is quite simple “.

 

Satotz tilted his head back. 

 

“ All you have to do is follow me to the second phase, so try to keep up “.

 

Is that it?.

 

The first phase is just to follow him?.

 

Rudo is not buying it.

 

There has to be something else.

 

“ follow you? “ said the same bald man as earlier.

 

“ So that's all it?, There is nothing else? “.

 

Satotz turned his head back forward “ that’s right “.

 

“ I cannot tell you where or when you must arrive “.

 

Oh.

 

So it’s an endurance test?.

 

“ you only need to follow me “.

 

Rudo huffs.

 

Not knowing when he will reach the second phase destination is actually quite stressful.

 

He lightly shook his head.

 

No, he should just focus on what’s happening here and now.

 

This is a test of everyone's endurance.

 

And he won’t fail.

 

The first phase has started.

 

And already two hours in, people have started dropping out.

 

Rudo was sweating but he still kept going.

 

Getting chased by the cops almost everyday, really builds up his stamina. 

 

There was more space in the tunnel, ever since the crowd started thinning out.

 

Good, means that there are less people to the exam,

 

And more chances to pass.

 

The sound of something scraping against the ground made him look forward.

 

 a spiky haired boy was riding on a skateboard, passing by man in a blue suit.

 

Wait, is riding on a skateboard even allowed?.

 

“ Hey, wait up kid!. “.

 

The boy slightly tilted his head towards the man “ hm? “. 

 

“ how about you show a little respect for the exam! “.

 

“ What do you mean? “.

 

“ I mean quit using a damn skateboard, you’re just cheating “ 

 

“ How's that? “.

 

“ how- this is an endurance test that’s how! “.

 

Rudo huffs.

 

That guy is a certified crash out. 

 

“ no it’s not “.

 

Crimson eyes turned to another boy just a little behind the pair.

 

What the hell is up with his hair?.

 

“ what are you babbling about now gon! “.

 

Gon blinked “ the examiner guy only said we had to follow him  “.

 

Rudo hums..

 

What the kid said was true.

 

Damn he wished he was dropped with something he could transport on. 

 

But that would never work, since he’s never rode a bicycle or anything before. 

 

“ Hey! Whose side are you on, gon! “ the man in a blue suit yelled.

 

The spiky haired boy stared at gon and slowed down his skateboard.

 

He stopped just to the side of the other boy.

 

“ Hey, how old are you?"

 

Gon turned his head “ twelve years old “.

 

The boy looked slightly surprised.

 

A smile appeared on gon lips..

 

The skateboard the boy was on suddenly flipped.

 

Pale fingers caught the board and slid it under his arm. 

 

How did he do that?!.

 

“ I think I'll run for a little while, “ the boy said, matching pace with gon.

 

Gon grin widened “ that was cool! “.

 

The boy only turns his eyes toward him  “ my name Killua “.

 

“ Hi, I'm gon! “.

 

That sucks.

 

Rudo bites his tongue.

 

Jealousy.

 

An emotion, he was quite familiar with. 

 

Watching the whole interaction was a mockery to him.

 

It was unfair.

 

How did two boys that barely meet, already become friends?.

 

But then again.

 

Who would be friends with a mass murderer's son?.

 

He deeply loathes his so-called father.

 

That man was nothing more than a monster.

 

Rudo slows down and watches the pair speed up.

 

A pit formed in his stomach.

 

He grits his teeth.

 

He needs to get his head in the game.

 

He moved his legs faster.

Rudo was exhausted.

 

But he still had stamina.

 

And the guy in the blue suit looks ready to drop out.

 

He turned his head behind him and caught the man leaning on his knees, sweating and breathing heavily,

 

A strange feeling formed in his chest.

 

He pushed his legs to stop.

 

His lips twitched.

 

“ hey“.

 

The man continued to breathe heavily and just turned his head up.

 

Rudo frowned.

 

He walked over to him.

 

“ Are you really gonna give up that easily? “.

 

The man's eyes twitched.

 

“ get up “.

 

A growl came from the sweating man “ go away kid “.

 

Rudo huffs “ no, I won’t. Not until you get up and continue running “.

 

“ Don't you want to finish the hunter exam?. “.

 

“ Of course I do! “ the man snapped.

 

“ Then why are you stopping “. 

 

A moment of silence.

 

The man grits his teeth “ screw this “.

 

Rudo blinked and flinched as a blue blur passed him.

 

Huge fingers wrapped around his wrist and pulled.

 

Rudo squeaks and rushes his legs to match the pace of the man. 

 

“ I’m becoming a hunter, no matter what! “ yelled the man. 

 

Rudo pulled back his wrist and glanced at the man beside him.

 

Well at least he’s back in the running.

 

He turned his head forward “ next time, don’t give up so easily “.

 

The man was too distracted by his resolve to notice what Rudo said. 

 

Rudo made a tch sound,

 

Deaf old man.

 

He turned his eyes to scan the crowd.

 

There were less people.

 

Wait- where are the two boys he saw earlier,

 

He frowned.

 

Where are they?.

 

“ Thanks for that “.

 

Rudo jolts and tilts his head at the man who has seem to have mellowed out from  from his rush of energy. 

 

“ sure“.

 

The man glanced at him “ you could go ahead without me kid, don’t gotta slow down for me “.

 

Rudo hums “ nah I’m okay at this pace “. 

 

The man huffs “ leorio“.

 

Mhm?.

 

“ Huh? “.

 

“ my name is leorio “.

 

Oh.

 

“ I’m Rudo “.

 

Leorio smirks “ nice to meet ya, Rudo “.

 

Rudo lowered his eyelids with his eyes still staring at the man beside him “ you too “.

Rudo huff and puff as he went up each step.

 

Damn it, why did there have to be stairs now!.

 

He glanced to the side.

 

And he had a shirtless man right next to him.

 

Why did he do that?.

 

“ I don’t want to overheat! “.

 

Smart moved but he doesn’t want to see a sweating naked man.

 

He saw a bunch of people drop out and lay on the stairs.

 

Jeez can’t they just move to the side when they decide it’s over for them.

 

He hates having to move to the side and not step on them.

 

How annoying.

 

“ Are you okay, leorio? “.

 

Rudo flinched, where’d that voice come from.

 

He cocked his head to the side and saw a blonde man. 

 

“ Great, I’ve never been better! “ leorio exclaimed with a strained tone.

 

Leorio sped up to meet the blonde man with Rudo just next to him.

 

“ If I forget how stupid I look, it's a whole lot easier to keep going! “.

 

A random burst of energy made leorio scream out and went up the steps faster.

 

Rudo sighs and shortly follows the naked man.

 

He heard the rustle of clothes before the blonde man appeared right next to leorio left side. 

 

Huh, it seems like the man copied leorio. 

 

But still has clothes on.

 

Rudo falters in his step.

 

Guess this means he has to go.

 

He slowed down his speed by a lot, but to the point where he still sees leorio and the blond man. 

 

 

A familiar feeling settled in his stomach.

 

Rudo closed his eyes and huffed.

 

Why was he following leorio?.

 

Now that he thought about it, what the hell was he thinking?.

 

He should have never said anything.

 

Then maybe this feeling won’t happen again. 

 

“ Rudo! “.

 

Rudo jolted and turned his head up.

 

Leorio was looking at him but still kept running “ what are you doing down there? “.

 

Rudo frowned, what does he mean?.

 

“ Come up here! “ leorio shouted. 

 

Oh.

 

Rudo perked up.

 

He moved up the steps and stopped right beside the other man.

 

The blonde man softly smiled at him “ hello “.

 

Rudo averted his eyes “ hi “.

 

“ i’m kurapika “.

 

Rudo nods at him “ I’m Rudo “.

 

“ I heard you help my friend here, thanks for that “.

 

“ Yeah”.

 

Rudo turns his head forward.

Chapter 3

 

 

 

Rudo wants to shower.

 

He feels so dirty from all the sweat he produced.

 

Maybe after he’s done with this whole hunter exam thing, he’ll go to a lake or something to clean himself up.

 

After all, he doesn't have anything with him.

 

He huffs and hears two pairs of footsteps right behind.

 

He tilted his head to the side and saw the two boys pulled up right next to leorio.

 

Oh, they were behind.

 

But weren’t they at the front though?.

 

Gon grinned “ see you at the finish line “.

 

“ Yeah catch you later, old man, “ Killua said, mockingly with a smirk.

 

“ Hey! I’m not old! “.

 

Leorio grit his teeth “ can’t you see I’m a teenager, just like you! “.

 

Rudo eyes widen.

 

A teenager?.

 

This guy is a teenager!?.

 

The others seem just as surprised as he was.

 

“ You have to be kidding me, “ Rudo blurts.

 

Leorio snaps his head towards the boy.

 

“ I’m not lying! “.

 

Rudo narrows his eyes at the man “ there’s no way you’re a teenager, you look so much older! “.

 

A fist slams into the top of his head, sharp pain forming around the area.

 

He yelped and lifted one hand to smooth the pain “ what was that for! “.

 

Leorio grits his teeth “ it’s called a growth sprout, you little shit “. 

 

Rudo huffs “ yeah right “.

 

Kurpika chuckles, he glanced at the two boys beside leorio.

 

“ gon, killua “.

 

Gon perked up while Killua just moved his eyes towards the blonde.

 

“ this is rudo, he helped leorio a little while back “.

 

Gon grin “ we know “.

 

Rudo blinked.

 

“ Gon was gonna go and help, but you beat him to it “ Killua explained, dull eyes staring at the other white haired boy.

 

Rudo looked away with a wince “ oh…sorry? “.

 

Gon shook his head.

 

“ Don't be, I'm actually happy you did! “.

 

“..okay”.

 

Rudo felt…embarrassed?.

 

He doesn’t know how he actually feels, but it was a light, warm sensation.

 

“ hey.”.

 

He leaned his head to the side.

 

Killua lidded eyes stared at him with a glint of curiosity. 

 

“ How old are you? “.

 

Rudo blink.

 

Didn’t he ask gon that question too?.

 

“ uhm i’m eleven, “ he answered.

 

Killua's lips reeled back “ so you're younger than me and gon “.

 

what?.

 

Rudo frowns “ yeah i guess i am “.

 

He knows Gon is twelve years old, is kiillua the same age?.

 

“ me and killua are gonna go ahead, see you guys later “ gon exclaimed before speeding up the steps with killua following.

 

 

“ Come with us rudo!, “ Killua hollered with a smirk.

 

Rudo blinked.

 

Wait, they wanted him to go with them?.

 

but…

 

He glanced between kurpikas and leorio.

 

He doesn’t want to leave them behind.

 

The blonde smiled  “ go with them, me and leorio will be fine “.

 

Rudo hesitates before nodding and running up the steps.

 

He caught up to the two boys and stood beside Gon.

 

Killua glanced at him and the dark haired boy “ y’know i’m pretty impressed, you guys can keep up with me “.

 

Gon smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head “ you are? “.

 

The spiky haired boy huffs “ or maybe they're all so slow, you just seem fast “. 

 

Rudo eyes twitched.

 

Asshole.

 

Killua head dunked down “ man, i thought the hunter exam was going to be more of a challenge “. 

 

“ This is boring, “ he groans.

 

Gon tilted his head at him “ hey, why do you want to be a hunter anyway? “ he asked. 

 

Killua perked up “ who me?, i never said i wanted to be a hunter “.

 

“ Huh? “.

 

Rudo frowns

 

Then why is he here?. 

 

“ I just heard that the exam was supposed to be really hard, it sounded kind of fun so here I am “ Killua said with a grin.

 

“ but it’s not as fun as i thought “.

 

Rudo huffs.

 

He kinda wished he had Killua's attitude. . 

 

“ What about you? “ the white haired boy turned to gon.

 

“ Well the thing is, my dad’s a hunter. “.

 

The pair of boys moved away from a groaning man whose already dropped out.

 

“ so, I decided I was going to be a hunter just like him, no matter what! “

 

Killus hums “ So what kind of hunter is he? “. 

 

“ no idea “.

 

The white haired boy laughed while Rudo just huffed.

 

“ That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard! “.

 

Killua grinned at him “ you wanna be the same kind of hunter as your dad, but you don’t know anything about him? “.

 

Gon faced forward “ mito’s the one who raised me and he told me a little. But I've only ever seen him in pictures she showed me from a long time ago “. 

 

“ Wait- so who’s mito? “.

 

“ she’s my aunt “.

 

Rudo frowns.

 

So his aunt took care of him while his dad was god knows where?, sounds like a deadbeat father. 

 

Gon grin widens “ she said that my dad took the hunter exam when he was only twelve years old too. He passed his first try and became a hunter ”. 

 

“ that's when he decided to leave the island “.

 

Honey brown eyes turned to the ceiling “ so, i came here in order to find out why he chose being a hunter over staying at home with me “.

 

Rudo bites his cheek “ you should forget about him “.

 

Gon blinked “ huh? “.

 

“ Why look for someone that has clearly left you behind?, there’s no point “. 

 

Killua cocked his eyes towards him.

 

“ Even so, I still want to find him, “ Gon said determinedly.  

 

Rudo  closes his eyes and huffs sharply “ fine, but don’t get your hopes up if he’s not what you thought he was “. 

 

The dark-haired boy nods “ right “.

 

 

Rudo tilted his head up.

 

What an idiot.

 

Honestly he doesn’t understand gon or killua.

 

Their mindsets are both completely different, yet they seem such good friends. 

 

A flash of light hits his eyeballs, making him wince.

 

He blinked repeatedly until his eyes adjusted to the sudden light.

 

Groans and mumbles of relief echoed from the people.

 

And- holy crap.

 

The exit is right there.

 

Light shined through, brightening up the once dark tunnel.

 

Finally!.

 

He thought he would never get out of this place. 

 

Rudo flinched when the two boys beside him suddenly launched forward, climbing the stairs with speed.

 

What the hell?.

 

He frowned before rushing his legs to move faster.

 

Satotz stopped at the top and turned his body just in time for two boys passing by him.

 

He looked surprised..

 

Guess the man didn’t expect two kids to out run the adults here.

 

Rudo huffs and hopped up the two last stairs.

 

God that was exhausting.

 

He walked past the lanky man and towards the arguing boys. 

 

“-hey, which one of us was the fastest! “ Gon turned to the examiner.

 

“ You crossed the finish line simultaneously, “ Satotz said. 

 

Rudo placed his palm over his hip and frowned “ y’know you guys could’ve warned me before ditching me like that “. 

 

Killua closed his eyes and shrugged.

 

Rudo eyes twitched.

 

“ Fine, I guess I'll have to buy your dinner, “ Gon started.

 

Killua blinked “ huh? “.

 

“ but then you have to buy me my dinner, okay? “.

 

What the hell are they talking about?.

 

The delayed exhaustion made his knees shake.

 

Rudo kneeled down onto the ground and sighs.

 

His body felt sore and weak from all that running.

 

He closed his eyes and leaned on his palms behind, taking in the fresh air with a deep inhale. 

 

“ Mr. Satotz,  Is this where the second phase begins? “ Gon asked.

 

“ no, it’s not. We have quite a way to go “ .

 

What?!.

 

Rudo groans and lets his upper body fall to the ground. 

 

He hates this fucking exam.

 

He reopens his eyes to see Killua face inches from his with a smirk “ maybe I was wrong “.

 

Rudo frowned “ about what? “.

 

“ that you could keep up with me “.

 

-motherfucker.

 

Rudo so badly wanted to punch him in his little annoying face but his body was tired.

 

So he settled with just rolling his eyes and turning his body to the side.

 

He huffs and shut his eyes for the second time.

 

Sleep sounds so good right now. 

 

 

“ Are you actually gonna sleep right now? “.

 

Rudo growled and turned his head towards the white spiky haired “ go away killua! “. 

 

Killua snickers.

 

But instead of backing off, he flops right next to him.

 

He folds his arms behind his head and lazily grinns down at him.

 

Rudo scowled but didn’t turn around.

 

Annoying prick.

 

He shuts his eyes and grumbles.

 

The grass was slightly itchy against his cheeks.

 

It was quiet for a few minutes before he heard someone laying behind him.

 

He wanted to see who was behind him but it must have been gon.

 

Just a small nap then he’ll get up.
