WPNZ woke up, comfortably snuggled under Puzzles' arm.
Puzzles was still fast asleep; he usually slept in later than WPNZ anyway. WPNZ sat up, gently pushing Puzzles' arm off of him, even though he'd enjoy staying in the comfort of it for a while longer.
He stretched and yawned, then sighed. Today was gonna be another day of avoiding the Death Cube, unfortunately.
It was a tiring task, running from the huge fridge.
WPNZ looked back at his partner, who was still snoring. WPNZ smirked. He knew if he brought up the fact that Puzzles slept in later than he did Puzzles would get defensive.
WPNZ got onto his feet, the ache in his legs from running away from the death cube the day before grew more annoying.
He noticed one of Puzzles' buttons on his shirt had gotten undone in his sleep, and he leaned over and buttoned it back up.
WPNZ felt a blush creep onto his face, heart flooded with a warm feeling as he looked lovingly at the TV man. Surely he could stay in bed for a little while longer...
WPNZ carefully settled back onto the bed, snuggling back under Puzzles' arm.
It must've been at least 8:00 in the morning, and WPNZ was surprised Puzzles was still sleeping. Then again, they had been running all day yesterday.
WPNZ slowly got up again, feeling restless, only to stare at the space he once occupied.
What if he did something impulsive and kissed Puzzles to wake him up?
Puzzles would love it, but WPNZ hated showing that kind of lighthearted sweetness. Wholesome wasn't his cup of tea. Besides, Puzzles had a tendency to drool in his sleep, and WPNZ wasn't sure a kiss was worth that.
But it was 8:00, and Puzzles needed to wake up someway, and a kiss would be the nicest.
"Are you going to make your mind up, dear, or just stand there?" Puzzles mumbled groggily.
WPNZ felt his face flush. There was no way Puzzles knew what he thinking, about the kiss and all, but he probably just thought he wanted to get back in bed.
Puzzles looked half-asleep anyway, WPNZ knew he was safe.
Puzzles finally opened his eyes groggily. "Mmhh...Good morning..." he said through a yawn, stretching.
WPNZ sighed, leaned forward and kissed him.
Puzzles face turned a bright shade of red. It always did anytime WPNZ showed any kind of affection, even though they'd been together for a while now; they shared a room for goodness' sake!
WPNZ pulled away first. "Yeesh. Puzzles you've got the worst morning breath!"
Puzzles' facial expression switched from love to annoyance. "I don't even have breath!"
"Relax, boxhead, Im just messin' with ya," WPNZ smirked. "What do ya want for breakfast today?"
The TV man paused, thought carefully, then said, "Pancakes, maybe?"
WPNZ grinned. Puzzles always liked pancakes for breakfast, that is, now that WPNZ convinced him to actually eat breakfast.
Puzzles used to never eat breakfast, he sometimes even skipped lunch. Not anymore. Not now that WPNZ and him share a house.
Puzzles stood up and stretched.
"Ya know you snore?" WPNZ asked, somewhat cautiously. He liked to cause an annoyance to the TV man, even though the annoyance never lasted long.
"I do NOT!" Puzzles gasped, appalled the gunman would suggest such a thing, despite him sounding like a vacuum cleaner not even half an hour ago.
"Yeah ya do. Also, you drool." WPNZ grinned.
Puzzles couldn't even form words and instead babbled incoherent nonsense, trying to defend himself.
"Also, your nose makes a little bubble. Which is weird, 'cause I didnt think you even had snot." WPNZ elbowed him slightly.
"Thats it! You are disgusting and insufferable!" Puzzles pretended to be upset, but his grin gave it away.
WPNZ loved Puzzles and his genuine grin.
The couple quickly made the bed then got dressed.
"So...is the death cube still hot on our trail or...?" Puzzles asked, straightening his tie.
"I dunno, SOMEBODY was using me like his teddy bear this morning," WPNZ smirked, showing some of his fangs.
Puzzles once again made flustered sounds. "Well, I-I...!"
The two shared another quick kiss before heading out of their room.
