Chapter Text
"Congratulations...." Seek held the acceptance letter in his hands, crimson eyes widening in shock. Is this actually real? He thought, tracing the wax seal on the envelope and the crisp paper on it. Might as well go there.... He held the envelope up to his chest protectively, mentally preparing himself for what was going to happen.
Light touched the letter carefully, almost thinking it was going to disappear like an illusion as soon as her fingers touched it. She gingerly touched the wax seal, feeling its smoothness brush across her fingers. We're so proud of you! Her parents said, giving her a reassuring smile and hug, telling her that they would miss her. Her emerald eyes shone brightly. I'm...actually going there! She thought.
Rush and Ambush looked at each other, Rush giving a small smile to Ambush as their mother handed both of them the acceptance letter. Her fingers brushed across the crisp paper and the glossy wax seal. Are you going to stay with me, brother? She thought. Wherever they were going, she hoped that it would be a better place than her old school..... Rush only tucked the paper neatly into his pocket, eyes drifting to his sister with a hint of worry.
Eyes stared at the letter, folding it and stuffing it neatly into his pocket. He took out his golden chain with the word 'Barbie' inscribed on it. Are pets allowed? He asked jokingly to himself, trying to distract himself from the more important and dreaded question. What should I do now? It was not like he had a choice though. He had to go, whether he liked it or not. Afterall, it's his only escape.
Glitch scanned the letter. Finally. It's about time. He thought, lips curving into a small smile as he glitched the letter back and forth. His blue eyes flickered with rhythm, just like the letter flickering in and out of sight. He finally stuffed it in his pocket after a while. I better start preparing. He thought to himself, watching as his surroundings fade and come back again.
You ran your fingers across the letter, feeling the wax and the paper under your hands. I wonder what they saw in me? You ask yourself. You're not complaining though. At this point, you will do anything to go to the school. You heard a lot about it, and mostly, you heard that it had restricting rules. What was wrong with it though? You always liked to remain in one place. Always.
