EXPLANATION FOR MY A/B/O UNIVERSE.

Alphas; They have boarder, more 'straight' gills, in order to release more of their scent - all, including Beta's have a gap between the Incisors and Canines that's where fangs - which will fall out after mating - can jut out, Alpha's have longer 'fangs' able to peek out of their lips due to that fact.
Omegas; They have wavy, similar to ocean waves gills mostly in order for the scent to latch onto any surface sorta like a warm blanket - or cold if they're angry or sad - the fangs Omegas have are shorter but far more sharper than a Beta or Alpha - obviously they will fall out once an Omega mates with their chosen.
Betas; They have short, almost like a small dagger was jabbed into the throat kinda gills, they're scents are mostly muddled with the overbearing smell of Alphas and Omegas but given time a place with frequent Betas will overpower that of Alpha and Omega's scent.

Mating; Once any of the three above find their mate ( Doesn't matter with their secondary gender, but some may be fussy ) they'll sink their fangs - no other teeth..unless their a sadist - into the neck and the fangs will dissolve due to their 'biodegradable' nature, making the other mate(s) scent permanently by the other(s). This act doesn't have to be sexual in any way.
Courting; Once any of the three above 'chose' their mate, or is fate-bound by any of the three, they may begin to win their favor or try to beat any competitors with gifts ( physically or Labour-wise ) , dates and courting material, such as rings, jewels or necklaces any of which have material, physical or relation-wise , meaning then once they have accepted it, then the courtiers may mate with each other.
Presentation; When someone reaches the age of ten ( 10 ) they present to one of the three secondary genders, in which their smell for when they were younger - milky or honey like, depending on the person - vanishes and blooms fully into the full smell as described in the first chapter’s - first note.
Fated Mates; Once Presented, some have a very low chance of having a Fated Mate, but in the chance one does in fact have a Fated Mate they’re gills with have ‘marks’ ( slight marks that are shaded darker than their skin that are shaped to their mates fangs ) from their future mates, and when they meet each other, by fate or coincidence, their scents will be more potent to their Mates to ( most commonly ) allure their Fated Mates.
Heats; This happens six times each year, Female and Male Omegas are included while only Female Betas are included, Omegas and Betas when they first present it are strictly platonic for the first time, the rest are strictly for Future mates/Fated mates. ( Heats can be painful unless the rules above are applied, First Heats are better for the Omegas if they are spent with families, blood related or not. Other Heats are best suited with Future mates/Fated mates, usually the Heats shorten if a ‘ knot ‘ is used..I don’t need to explain that part.. )
The overall span of Heats/Ruts are a week.
Ruts; This happens six times each year, Male and Female Alphas are included while only Male Betas are included, same with the Heats, the first Rut is best to be strictly platonic and the rest is just Future mates/Fated mates ( After the first Rut, the more an Alpha is without a Mate the more ‘ painful ‘ the Ruts become..and the more desperate an Alpha will become to complete their pack. )
Packs; Marking platonically ( Marking is the act of rubbing ones scent sorta like claiming over a piece of land or an item, bruising a neck is a threat of forceful mating, bruising a neck with a small bite from teeth is considered either flirty, or very violating ) is a means to claim someone to a pack, the scent of the pack leader hangs around the pack members. ( The pack member is commonly the most powerful or the one the others have loyalty or strong feelings, platonic or not, towards )
Bonding; When mates wish to be interlaced/eloped ( like a marriage ) they go through the act of Bonding, where their lifespans are then intertwined, different bondings depend on the mate, if someone has a lifespan of forty bonds with someone who has a lifespan of sixty it equals out to one hundred for the both of them.

Hello, you already know me as Oklim, the original author of this fanfiction, by technicality Writer_of_Absolute_Chaos is the new author, mainly because I’m moving on and no-longer be writing this fanfiction.
But Writer_of_Absolute_Chaos knows where this story is heading so worry not.
Obviously you know me from the previous paragraph, (I will be mainly bold for now for easy distinction) you may call me OP, and I’ll be writing this not so known story, I know the OG - OP personally so if you have any questions feel free to ask (if it’s already been answered I’ll direct you to it, but I’m not sure how many people will read this)
