It's almost the end of Spring, it has only been almost 2 months since Katsuki's third year in UA has started, but everyone has been really really busy. Well, it was always like this every start of the semester, specially to the varsity teams of the school. Although UA isn't much known for being sport centered Highschool, they still be considered as one of the powerhouse when it comes to sports. This includes Basketball, Volleyball and of course, UA's best known to it's strong Baseball team.
Just like right now, 2pm in the afternoon, still sun shining brightly up the sky but their already in the middle of training. Preparing for the Summer Tournament has been one of the most crucial trainings they have to participate into. As the main pitcher of UA's baseball team, the responsibility of carrying his team is on his shoulder. Maybe that's why most of the time he's irritated, loud mouth, and full of fullblown cussing. But no one hates him for that. Team knows it's just how he expresses the concern on his team. Friends are already so used of his loud mouth. And even with that temperemental, he has a lot of fans that supports him and the team.
Right now, as they are resting a bit from traning, he's standing in front of the field's entrance, surrounded by female schoolmates who have been asking him questions he doesn't know if he had been answering right. Beside him is Eijirou, his bestfriend, who has his few shares of schoolmates with him.
His eyes fpund yours staring at him from afar and when you noticed you immediately looked away, and act as if you were looking for something or someone. This is not actually the first time he caught you staring at him from afar. But the first time was only last week, but since then, he had been seeing you nearby staring at him or watching him.
"Hey, Ei. You know that girl?" Katsuki asked nodging at Kirishima beside him while he points at you. Not long before, Mina, Jirou, and Denki is with you which made him furrowed his eyebrows because that group of people are also his friends, but he doesn't know who you are.
"Who— oh! That's Y/N. She's a classmate. Why?"
"Transferee?"
Eijirou slightly tilted his head before he shook his head. "No. She has been my classmate since first year though." Katsuki saw how a smirk form on his bestfriend's face, making him roll his eyes from it.
"Why? You interested with her? I can ask Mina to introduce you to Y/N if you want."
"Shut up. I'm not interested with her. I just frequently been seeing her stare at me from the distance this past week. Give me creeps."
He then decided to already ditch the crowd of students in front of him and get his ass back to the bleachers. Kirishima waving a small goodbyes from the girls making them whine a bit before following Katsuki.
"Well I can't blame you if you haven't seen her before. She's quite reserved, quiet and you know—kind of nerd, a library person." Kirishima said from his back.
"She doesn't look like a nerd to me. Her face too pretty to be one."
"And you say you're not interested?" Kirishima snorted, lightly patting Katsuki's back.
"The fuck is that patting meant for!?"
"And here I was to invite you on me and the gang's Ramen session with Y/N. I guess you really are not interested."
"Do whatever the fuck you want. I ain't gonna go with you."

"Y/N!"
Your face lit up as soon as you saw Mina running towards you. The couple, Jirou and Denki behind her, all has their bright smile on their faces. You immediately walks towards them and gave them a hug as if you weren't all in the same classroom just a few hours ago.
“Where's Izuku and Uraraka? Oh, and Eiji too?” You asked, perking your head as you try to look for the faces you are asking for.
“Midoriya just messaged me saying Uraraka and him is already at the ramen shop. And that they would be waiting there. They're classes ended quite early.” Denki replied as he scroll on his phone with a smirk on his face. Which only made you roll on your eyes with the information. Because for sure those two just wanted to be alone before everything starts to get noisy and chaotic. What a sleek couple!
“And Eiji?”
Jirou jerked her head motioning you to look at your back, that you did. There you saw Eijirou waving his hand with a huge smile on his face, revealing his shark like teeth. Beside him is a tall guy, blonde hair, hands on his pocket with a proud expression on his face. Bakugou!
“Hey! Sorry guys. We just finished the training. Mind if Bakugou here come along?” That's the first thing Kirishima greeted when he finally catched up to them. You immediately turned yourself back, eyes closing shut, and pursing your lips together. Why is he here!? is all you could ask yourself, clutching tightly at your books. You managed to made yourself invisible in his presence for the past 3 years. Because frankly, unlike those girls who always surrounds him, you have no courage to actually be part of the crowd that admires him and talks to him. You've been the fan that watches him from afar the past 3 years and you intend to stay that way.
“Bakubro!” Each one of your friends made their high fave with Katsuki which the lad gladly receives with a slight smile on his face. Oh yes, he could actually smile and that made you feel something on your stomach. Mina beside you saw how your cheeks tainted with slight hue of pink, made her giggle on her thoughts.
“Hey, Kats. Have you met Y/N yet?” Mina asked, making you not so roughly stomp on her feet, muttering a soft ‘Mina!’ and nodging her shoulders. If your face could go any more redder, it could have been. The group—except Kirishima— knows how you like Katsuki and Mina wouldn't pass the opportunity for her to push you for it.
“What? I'm trying to introduce you to Katsuki. He's one of our friends since middle school together with Uraraka and Midoriya.” That you already know, but it her way of her teasing you with it.
“Kats, this is Y/N L/N. Y/N you already know him for sure, Bakugou Katsuki. You can call him Katsuki if you'd like.”
“Hey! Who decides she can call me that?” Katsuki with his usual irritated tone, that you already are used to hear.
“It's okay. I could just call you Bakugou if you're u-uncomfortable with it.” You muttered in a almost silent voice, eyes down because you can't seriously look at him without actually blushing.
“I didn't say you can't call me Katsuki.” He only replied before he started to walk passed everyone. They all shared a suspicious looks with each other before running towards Katsuki to tease him with it. You sighed, walling behind them and praying they actually drop the topic.
Not so long before they actually dropped and stopped pestering Katsuki about him actually letting you to call him by his first name. You all managed to arrive at the ramen shop, and the table where the couple has been waiting.
It has been awhile since the last time you ate ramen so you have been waiting for this day. But instead of relaxing, here you are getting stiffed because of the sitting arrangement you are currently in. You sitting against the window, beside you is Katsuki and beside him is Kirishima. You don't know how to actually move because a simple wriggle would makeyour shoulder touch Katsuki's. You purses your lips together, compressing yourself against the glass window. God, this is so awkward.
“Here's the last two orders. Both Tonkontsu Ramen. Which of you orders this?” the waiter asked as he place the tray on the table.
“One is mine.”
“That's mine.”
Both you and Katsuki glanced at each other after both saying the same thing, but you widthrawn your gaze first. You are already embarassed and feeling awkward enough at it is. You can't possibly be more embarassed right now.
“Right.”
You're not even interacting with each other yet you feel like you wanted the ground to swallow you. Even when you could notice the few stealing glances Katsuki is giving you. Eventhough there is so much you wanna know about him, but you can't just impose. You yourself know how much unsolicited questions he has been receiving in the daily basis. So you held yourself, remained at the farthest place as possible from him but then Mina won't really stop from making the two of you in contact. She is mentally reminding herself to smack Mina in the head once everyone is home, or at least when Katsuki is nowhere present.
Your heart has been thumping so loud since earlier, and you felt like anytime you would pass out. You bever been this close in perimeter with Katsuki and it's not very healthy for your heart. You tried to focus yourself on the food in front of you so you could finally get out of here so you could finally breath. But then—
“Eiji, can you pass me the chili powder please?”
“Pass me the chili powder, shitty hair.”
Another silenced filled the whole group for a whole 3 minutes until Jirou broke the silence.
“I didn't know you two has so many things in common.” She said after she saw how thw two of you put 2 spoonful of chili powder on your food, making his boyfriend beside her choke on his Ramen. Ochako and Midoriya trying to avoid everyone's gazes because of awkwardness while Mina and Kirishima laughing among themselves.
“Babe— that's not.”
“If don't stop staring at me, I'm going to blow this whole ramen shop up!”
That threat was enough for the whole group to actually shut up and continue eating their food. You just shook your head from the usual chaos your friends is making although this time it was you who is the reason of it.
