Summary:
When the Enterprise and the Farragut are docked at an outpost on the edges of deep space ahead of a joint mission, the crew takes a night of much needed shore leave in the bustling spaceport. Kirk and Spock, who’ve yet to meet in the line of duty, find magnetic attraction in a bar serving travelers of more… unique predilections. What was meant to be a single night shared in the company of a stranger soon becomes complicated when they encounter each other on the bridge the following day.
