Seraphine and Kai’sa were watching a Hello Kitty cartoon on the giant plasma screen of their house in Seoul, cuddling the same giant Unicorn plushie on the sofa. Akali was used to this view, yet it felt so beautiful she couldn’t help but stare from the interior window in the kitchen, the setting sun’s light coloring the room. Akali loved every moment she spent with her little girls, but the ones she preferred were those ones, when they were just quietly being themselves together, without any worry. She threw away the cookie’s packaging and went back to the living room to give the precious biscuits to the girls.
“And here they are, girls!” she said before putting the cookie plate on the table.
“Thank you, Auntie Kali!” responded both girls.
“You’re very welcome pumpkins.”
Akali then sat on the sofa, moving the plushie. Both girls instantly went on her sides, taking and eating a cookie. Akali quickly checked their diapers before gently massaging their hair.
“I love you girls” Akali said. And she meant it: every moment she spent with them felt like heaven.
“Love you too”, came the sleepy voices of Sera and Kai’sa. They were dozing off on the sofa, and Akali let them, knowing they would need their energy to talk about their day to Mama Ahri and Mommy Eve.
And indeed, an hour later when Ahri and Evelynn came back from their date together, both girls immediately jumped to them, hugging them and talking about their day of playing with bubbles, building a pillow fort, listening to stories and eating fast food with their Auntie. Ahri and Evelynn actively listened, talking about their date too.
When the five girls went to sleep together, they all felt like this was the exact perfect life they always wanted.
