Chapter Text
After the overlord meeting Alastor was about to leave until he was cornered by Vox Alastor rolled his eyes at him with annoyance as Vox said "we need to talk." Alastor scoffed, his ear twitching in annoyance as Vox leaned against a wall Alastor walked away ignoring him as he walked away with annoyance Vox grabbed his wrist Alastor paused, his eyes narrowing at the touch. He yanked his arm from Vox's grasp, turning to face him with a menacing glare. "Keep your hands off me, Vox. I'm not in the mood for your games this morning." Vox smirked, not intimidated in the slightest. "Oh, come on, Alastor. You're always in a bad mood. Can't a guy just have a friendly chat?" Alastor rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. "I doubt you know the meaning of the word 'friendly', Vox. What do you want?" Vox then said " just a drink with you like the good old days on the house."Alastor raised an eyebrow skeptically, eyeing Vox carefully. He was hesitant to trust such an offer, but curiosity piqued his interest just slightly enough to give in. "A drink. With you. On the house. You've got to be pulling the wool over my eyes, Vox. What's the catch?" Vox chuckled, holding up his hands in a placating gesture. "No catch, my friend. Just a couple of old pals, catching up over a drink. It's been too long since we've had a chat."
Alastor narrowed his eyes, still suspicious. "You expect me to believe that? You're never this hospitable without a motive, Vox." Vox shrugged nonchalantly, his cocky smirk never faltering. "Can't a guy ever do something out of the goodness of his heart?"Alastor scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Since when do you have a heart, Vox? This better be worth my time..."They went to the bar and Vox grabbed him a drink at the V tower bar and Vox sat on a round chair stool holding a glass of wine Alastor sat next to him glass of wine on the the table untouched but Alastor took the drink reluctantly, eyeing it warily before taking a small sip.
He couldn't help but begrudgingly admit that the drink was good, though he'd never admit that to Vox. "So," Alastor said, raising an eyebrow, "why the sudden offer for a drink? You're not one to just be nice without wanting something in return." Vox sat down next to him, swirling his own drink in his glass. "Can't an old friend just want to catch up with another old friend?" Alastor snorted, not buying it for a second. "Cut the crap, Vox. You've always got an ulterior motive. So spill it."
Vox chuckles and place held his hand and said "Al seriously no motives." Alastor looked down at the hand on his and he moved it away quickly a flicker of surprise passing through his eyes. It was rare for Vox to be so sincere, and it was unsettling. He shifted uncomfortably, pulling his hand away and taking another sip of his drink. "Alright," he said slowly, "let's say I believe you for a moment. Why now, Vox? Why reach out after so long? Something's changed."
Vox leaned back, a pensive expression on his face. "Maybe I just miss the old days, y'know?" he said, his voice unusually soft. "Things were simpler back then."Alastor raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "Simpler? You mean when you were constantly trying to sabotage me and steal my audience?" Vox then said his eyes rolling with slight irritation not wanting to take about this again with him gripping at his glass of wine "Al come on I wouldn't have to have done that if you just said yes to be partners with me, we could've shared a spotlight."
Alastor's grip on his drink tightened, his expression hardening. "Partners? Sharing a spotlight? You must be out of your mind, Vox. I don't work with anyone. I stand alone, and I always have." He took a larger sip of his drink, his voice growing cold. "I have no interest in being your partner, Vox. And I never will." Vox rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed. "Always so stubborn, Al. It's your way or the highway, eh?"Alastor simply grunted, refusing to back down. "Damn right. I'm not about to let some two-bit wannabe overlord leech off of my success."Vox leaned in closer, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "You know, Al, one day you'll regret rejecting me. Mark my words."
Alastor then said sarcastically as he finished his drink and he fixed his shirt "thanks for the lovely chat have a nice night." Alastor walked away and Vox said with an evil smile as he left "I will." Alastor walked away from the bar, his mind racing with suspicion and unease. Something about Vox's behavior was off, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss.
"He's up to something," he muttered to himself, his hand subconsciously reaching for his microphone cane. "But what...?"
Meanwhile husk saw Alastor walking into the hotel exhausted after the overlord meeting and his chat with Vox was infuriating to say the least Husk, perched in his usual spot near the bar, looked up as Alastor entered the hotel. He raised an eyebrow at the Radio Demon's unusually tired appearance. "Rough day?" he drawled, pouring himself a drink. "You have no idea," Alastor grumbled, collapsing onto a nearby couch. He rubbed a hand over his face, weary and annoyed. "Vox cornered me at a bar.
Claimed he just wanted to catch up like the 'good old days' or some rubbish like that."Husk scoffed, taking a sip of his drink. "Vox. Of course. That slimy bastard wouldn't know the meaning of sincerity if it smacked him in the face."Alastor nodded, a grimace on his face. "My thoughts exactly. He even tried to get me to join forces with him. Can you believe it?" Husk let out a gruff laugh. "Vox partnering with you? Yeah, right. What next, pigs flying?" Alastor managed a small smirk at that. "Exactly. As if I'd ever stoop so low as to work with the likes of Vox. But he seemed different...almost desperate, in a way. It was...unnerving." Husk took another sip of his drink, eyeing Alastor with a hint of concern. "You think he's up to something big? That bastard always has an angle."
Alastor let out a weary sigh, running a hand through his hair. "I reckon he is. Why else would he suddenly want to 'catch up' after all this time? He's planning something, Husk. I can feel it."Husk grunted in agreement. "You should keep a close eye on him, Al. You know how he is. The bastard's always scheming something."Alastor slumped against the bar, a wave of dizziness washing over him. He gripped the edge of the bar, his head spinning. "Damnit...what's wrong with me...?" he muttered, his voice growing weak.Husk looked up, concerned. "Al? You alright there, boss?" Alastor shook his head, trying to steady himself. "I don't...I don't feel right. My head's spinning and I feel sick...what the hell is going on...?"Husk then said with slight concern "how much did you drink?"Alastor closed his eyes, trying to focus through the fog in his mind. "Just... just the one drink. The one Vox bought me..."
Husk's eyebrow raised in concern. "You had a drink that Vox bought? Al, you idiot! That guy can't be trusted, you know that!"Husk then said " he probably just drugged you with something. You should probably just need to rest." Alastor nodded weakly, his grip on the bar growing slack. "Yeah...yeah, you're right. I just...need to rest."
Husk helped him to his feet, guiding him towards the stairs. "Come on, let's get you to bed. You look like hell." Alastors vision was getting darker and he felt lightheaded and disoriented As soon as husk went to him Alastor blacked out Husk managed to catch Alastor before he hit the floor, his eyes widening in alarm. "Al!?" he shouted, shaking him lightly. "Wake up, damn it!"
But Alastor remained unresponsive, his body limp and eyes closed. Husk swore under his breath, "Fuck" he hoisted the Radio Demon up in his arms and carrying him up the stairs towards his room. Angel, Charlie, and Vaggie all looked on in alarm as Husk carried the unconscious Alastor up the stairs."What happened?" Charlie exclaimed, hurrying to meet them at the top of the stairs. Husk grunted, adjusting his grip on Alastor. "He's out like a light. Had a drink that Vox bought him earlier. I reckon he must've spiked it with something."
Angel frowned, crossing his arms. "Vox...of course it had to be him. The bastard's always trouble."
Charlie looked worried, placing a hand on Alastor's forehead. "He's burning up. We should get him to bed and find out what Vox gave him.""Right," Husk said, grunting with the effort of carrying Alastor. "I'll get him settled in his room. You two see if you can dig up any info on what Vox might've poisoned him with."
Charlie and Vaggie nodded, rushing off to investigate, while Husk carefully maneuvered Alastor into his room and gently placed him on the bed. Alastor groaned quietly as he was laid down, his eyes fluttering open momentarily before closing again. Husk sighed, sitting down on the edge of the bed and watching over him with a mixture of concern and irritation. "You idiot," he muttered under his breath, shaking his head. "What the hell were you thinking, accepting a drink from Vox?"Alastor then said tiredly and in slight discomfort "wasn't....wasn't ...thinking straight."
Husk rolled his eyes, a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Clearly. You're supposed to be the smart one around here, Al. What happened to your usual sense of caution?""I let my guard down," Alastor mumbled, his eyes still closed. "Should've known better..."Husk grunted, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "Damn right you should've. You can't let your guard down around guys like Vox. He'll take any opportunity to screw you over." Alastor then spoke with surprise "Didn't think you'd care." Husk then said with frustration sitting on the bed near him " of course I don't. I'm just surprised that you let him get away with this." Alastor rolled his eyes at him and said trying not too wince in pain " it was a long night all right cut me some slack."
Alastor winced, his body tensing as a wave of pain washed over him. He let out a small gasp, his hands clenching the sheets.Husk noticed his discomfort and leaned closer, concern etched on his face. "Al, what is it? Where does it hurt?" Alastors moved his hand clutching at his chest Alastor grimaced, his hand creeping up to his chest. "My...my chest. It hurts. Feels like...like something's squeezing it."
Husk's eyebrows furrowed in worry. "Something's definitely not right. Hang on, let me take a look." Alastors moved away from his touch but husk says gently "I won't hurt you." Alastors slowly lets him examine his chest Husk carefully unbuttoned the top few buttons of Alastor's shirt, gently pushing aside the fabric to expose his chest. He let out a low whistle as he examined the area, his eyes widening slightly. Husk's eyes widened even further as he took in the change. "What the hell...? Al, your chest...it's different."
He cautiously placed a hand on Alastor's chest, feeling the new firmness beneath his palm. "It's bigger...and it's...it's almost like..." Alastor groaned, the pain in his chest growing more intense. "I feel...I feel weird. Like my body's changing... Something's wrong..." he gasped out, sweat beading on his forehead. Husk looked even more concerned now, his hand still pressed against Alastor's chest. "This...this isn't normal. You're not just poisoned, there's something else going on here." The others saw what was happening and was clearly concerned especially Nifty Charlie's eyes widened as she took in the sight of Alastor's changed chest. "What the...?"Vaggie rushed over to the bed, her gaze fixed on Alastor in worry. "What's happening to him?"
Baxter came in and said as he fixed his glasses " I can possibly x-ray him." Husk nodded, grateful for any help they could get. "Do it. We need to figure out what's going on with him."Baxter wasted no time, quickly setting up an x-ray machine and positioning it over Alastor's chest. Angel then said whispering to Charlie "Are we just ignoring the fact he pulled an X-ray out of his ass?" Charlie just chuckled and shrugged at him and Angel says still confused "Guess we are."
Baxter then said clearly impressed " Interesting his chest is making milk." Husk's jaw dropped, his eyes widening in disbelief. "His...his chest is MAKING milk?!"
Charlie and Vaggie looked equally shocked, exchanging disbelieving glances. "Milk...as in...breast milk?" Charlie asked weakly, her face paling. Baxter nodded, double-checking the readings from the x-ray machine. "Yes, it would seem so. His chest tissue is producing milk, as if..." He trailed off, the implications of his words sinking in. Baxter moved the x-ray machine over to Alastor's stomach, taking another set of images. The others all leaned in, straining to see the results on the screen.
Charlie's face was pale, her voice barely above a whisper. "What is it, Baxter? What do you see?"Baxter studied the images, his brow furrowing in concentration. "His stomach...something odd is going on here."He manipulated the x-ray, zooming in on a particular area. "There, see that?"
He pointed to something on the image, and the others all leaned in closer to look. Husk squinted at the image, trying to make sense of what he was seeing. "Looks like...like something's growing."
"It is," Baxter confirmed, pointing to different areas of the image. "There are internal changes occurring. His organs are shifting, rearranging themselves to accommodate..."Alastor groaned, his hand instinctively going to his stomach. "My stomach...hurts..." he gasped out, his face contorting in discomfort.
Husk's expression grew even more worried, his hand reaching out to gently rub Alastor's back. "Just hold on, Al. We'll figure this out."
Charlie looked panicked, her gaze flicking between Alastor and the x-rays. "What's happening to him?" she asked, her voice trembling. Baxter then said "Hffmm it's simple he's pregnant."
The room erupted into a stunned silence as Baxter's words sank in. Husk's hand froze on Alastor's back, his eyes wide in shock. Charlie and Vaggie exchanged horrified glances, their mouths agape. Nifty broke the silence saying
"Well Damn."
Chapter 2: Body Changes
Summary:
Alastor has to accept that his body will be different from the side effects of pregnancy
Chapter Text
Warning:sensitive pregnancy topics/ panic attacks
"P-pregnant?" Charlie managed to stutter out, her face draining of color. "As in...carrying a child?"Baxter nodded, his expression grim. "It would seem so. His body is undergoing drastic changes to accommodate the pregnancy. His organs are rearranging themselves to create space for the developing fetus."He pointed back to the x-rays on the screen, showing the changes happening inside Alastor's body. "See these here? These are the modifications occurring in his reproductive system." Husk was rendered speechless, his mind racing to process this new information. "But...but that's impossible. Alastor's a man. He can't get pregnant! It's not biologically possible!"
"Normally, you'd be correct," Baxter agreed. "But it seems that whatever Vox gave him has caused an unprecedented change in his body. His genetic makeup, his organs, even his reproductive organs - they're all adapting to make pregnancy possible."Charlie's face was ashen, her voice barely above a whisper. "But...but how is this even happening? How is he supposed to give birth? He has no..." She couldn't bring herself to finish the sentence, her words choking off in horror.
Alastor's breathing became labored, his chest heaving as he struggled to get air into his lungs. The pain in his stomach intensified, sharp cramps ripping through his abdomen."Can't... breathe... Hurts..." he gasped out, his hands clutching at his chest.Husk's eyes widened in alarm, worry etched across his face. "Al, breathe. Slow, deep breaths." Alastor tried to follow Husk's instructions, but the pain made it difficult to concentrate. He gasped for air, his hand gripping Husk's arm tightly. "I...I can't... It hurts..."
Husk gently rubbed Alastor's back, his voice steady. "I know it hurts, pal. But you gotta breathe. Slow and steady. In and out. Come on, focus on me."Charlie and Vaggie watched the scene in helpless horror, their faces etched with concern. Alastor then said coldly "Call Vox right now."Husk's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Vox? Why in the hell would you want to call him?"
Alastor's gaze was steely, his expression filled with determination. "I need to speak to him. Now."Husk exchanged a worried look with the others, but seeing the resolve in Alastor's eyes, he nodded and grabbed the nearest phone. "Alright, but I'm putting it on speaker so we can all listen in." Husk called Vox, holding the phone out so everyone could hear the conversation. After a few moments, the phone connected and Vox's voice came through, smug as usual. As Vox span in his chair on the other end of the phone .
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Alastor and his little entourage. Miss me that much already?"Alastor then said as he grabbed the phone "you fucking son of a bitch."
Vox chuckled and said "such colorful words Al I'm impressed."Alastor growled, struggling to keep the pain from his voice. "You bastard. What did you do to me?" Vox simply laughed, clearly enjoying himself. "Oh, my dear Alastor, you don't give me enough credit. I merely gave you a little... shall we say, enhancement?" Alastor's grip on the phone tightened, his fingers turning white. "Enhancement? You call this an enhancement?!"
Vox's voice dripped with patronizing amusement. "My my, someone's a little testy. I suppose you've discovered the new developments in your body then? How's the chest feeling, sweetheart?"
Alastor gritted his teeth, trying to ignore the pain in his chest and stomach. "I look and feel like a pregnant woman, you bastard. What the hell did you inject me with?"
Vox's chuckle was sinister, his tone mocking. "Oh, that little concoction? Just a special mixture I've been working on. A few hormones, a dash of genetic manipulation, and a pinch of magic. Nothing too groundbreaking."Vox then said " thought I use as an incubator."
Alastor then said angrily feeling like he should strangle him " and you didn't ask me!"Vox then said with a laugh " come on, babe. I knew you wouldn't agree with it." Alastor's eyes flared with anger, his grip on the phone nearly cracking it. "Damn right, I wouldn't agree! You had no right to do this to me, you bastard!"
Vox's laugh echoed through the phone, his tone dripping with sadistic delight. "Oh, but where's the fun in asking for permission, darling? I needed a host for my little experiment, and you were just so... perfect." Alastor's jaw clenched, his knuckles turning white as he fought to control his fury. "Experiment? I'm not some guinea pig for you to play with! This is my body, damn it!"Vox's voice took on a sly, almost seductive tone. "Oh, but darling, your body is quite a masterpiece. I couldn't help but want to explore its... shall we say, potential?"
Husk's expression darkened, his hand clenching into a fist. "He's not some damn science project, you sicko!"Vox chuckled, clearly enjoying Husk's reaction. "Oh, don't be so possessive, Husk. It's not a good look. And besides, Alastor here is simply blossoming into his true potential."
Angel clenched his fists, his voice seething with anger. "Blossoming? You call this blossoming? He's in pain, you sadistic freak!" Vox then said " wow I was not expecting this Al you got so many people who care about you surprising honestly but now I hope you enjoy going through the first trimester. It was to like puking up your guts or something mood swings cravings." Alastor gritted his teeth, his anger mingled with a hint of worry. "First trimester? Wait... you can't be serious."
Vox chuckled, his tone dripping with mockery. "Oh, but I am. Pregnancy isn't all sunshine and rainbows, darling. You'll be puking your guts out, dealing with moody swings, and indulging in ridiculous cravings."Alastor winced in fear knowing so much of his emotions that he kept hidden will be forced to come out because of his pregnancy.
Husk's expression hardened even further, his irritation mixing with concern for Alastor. "You bastard! You expect him to just go through all that because of some sick experiment?"Vox's voice took on a callous tone that cut through the room like a knife. "I expect him to embrace his new role, to become the perfect vessel for my needs. And if he's lucky, maybe he'll even learn to enjoy it."
Alastor then said angrily to Vox on the phone clutching it "fuck you."Vox's laughter echoed through the phone, his mockery clear. "Oh, come now, Alastor. Is that any way to speak to the person who's responsible for your... transformation?" Alastor's anger flared, his jaw clenching tightly. "Responsible? You've turned my life upside down, you sick bastard! I never asked for this!" Vox's tone was dripping with condescension. "Oh, darling, you didn't need to ask. Fate simply had different plans for you. You're meant to be my canvas, a vessel for my desires. And your body, oh, your body is just too perfect to resist."
Vox then said " the best part you can't get an abortion since it's not you know real pregnancy considering how you got pregnant."Alastor's eyes widened in horror at Vox's words, the realization sinking in. "You... you meant this to be permanent? There's no way to reverse it? No way to undo this... this madness?"
Vox's voice was tinged with sadistic glee. "Indeed, darling. I made sure this little transformation is irreversible. You're stuck with your new... assets, I'm afraid. And the little one growing inside you."Husk, Charlie, Vaggie, and Angel all exchanged horrified glances, the gravity of the situation hitting them like a ton of bricks. Husk's face paled, his voice shaking "You... you bastard. You can't seriously expect him to go through with this, can you?"
Vox chuckled, his tone dripping with malicious pleasure. "Oh, but I do. I want to see this transformation through to its conclusion. And I'll do whatever it takes to make sure it happens."
After the call alastor was practically hyperventilating afraid of his body changing his emotions being exposed Husk, Charlie, Vaggie and Angel all gathered around Alastor, their expressions a mixture of worry and anger.
"Alastor, breathe. Slow, deep breaths," Husk urged, gently placing a hand on Alastor's back. "In and out."
Alastor's breaths came in sharp, ragged gasps, his hand gripping at his chest as pain and panic coursed through him. Charlie's eyes filled with sympathy, her voice soft and reassuring. "We're here for you. We'll figure this out, okay? Just focus on breathing, Alastor."
Angel leaned in closer, his hand reaching out to gently touch Alastor's arm. "Hey, buddy, you can do it. Just follow Husk's instructions. Slow and steady, okay?" "I... can't," Alastor gasped, his voice barely above a whisper. "Hurts...too much."
Husk's grip on his back tightened, his voice firm yet gentle. "I know it hurts, buddy. But you're strong. You can get through this. Just focus on your breathing. In and out."
Charlie placed a soothing hand on Alastor's shoulder, her voice filled with empathy. "You're not alone, Alastor. We're here for you."
Chapter 3: Accepting changes
Chapter Text
Alastor then said clearly upset and panicked "Is...is there a way to kill this thing so I can't give birth?" The room fell silent as Alastor's panicked question hung in the air. Husk, Charlie, and Vaggie exchanged worried glances, knowing the gravity of what Alastor was suggesting.Husk's voice broke the silence, his tone cautious. "Alastor... You can't be seriously considering that, can you?"
Alastor then declared with annoyance and frustration as he pointed to his now bloated stomach " This thing is changing me and I didn't ask for this of course I'm considering it!" Husk's expression turned serious, his grip on Alastor's back tightening. "I know you didn't ask for this, boss, but... killing the baby? That's a whole different level. It's still a life, even if it was forced upon you."
Charlie nodded in agreement, her voice compassionate. "Husk is right. This isn't just about you anymore. There's a life growing inside you, Alastor."Alastor's frustration bubbled up, his eyes flashing with desperation. "I know it's a life, damn it! But I never wanted this. I never wanted any of this! This... thing is changing my body, my life, my everything! And you expect me to just... accept it?"Husk's expression softened, his voice tinged with empathy. "No one's saying you have to accept it, Alastor. We're just saying that ending a life shouldn't be taken lightly. There might be another way, another solution."Charlie nodded, her voice gentle yet firm. "We're here to support you, Alastor. But we can't condone such a drastic decision." Alastor grumbled clearly not happy with this child he's carrying.
A few weeks later
Alastor woke up feeling nauseous "Ugh..." Alastor groaned, sitting up in bed and clutching his stomach. He had woken up feeling nauseous, his stomach churning and a metallic taste in his mouth. He took slow deep breaths in and out, trying to calm the queasiness. It was still early morning, the soft light of the rising sun just barely visible out the window. Alastor pushed back the covers and slowly rose to his feet, wincing as his body protested with a dull ache. He padded over to the bathroom, trying to be careful not to wake Husk, who was still asleep in the next room. He splashed some water on his face, the coolness helping to soothe his nausea. Alastor looked at his reflection in the mirror, taking in his changed appearance. His chest was larger than before, with a noticeable fullness that hadn't been there before. Alastor's hand instinctively went to his chest, feeling the subtle changes in his body. He let out a frustrated sigh, the reality of his situation washing over him like a cold wave. He was well and truly stuck like this. "Just great..."
Alastor groaned as a wave of nausea hit him, and he quickly made his way to the toilet, the metallic taste flooding his mouth. He knelt down in front of the bowl, his stomach clenching painfully as he tried to fight down the urge to throw up. The taste was even more pronounced now, a sickeningly sweet-sour sensation that lingered at the back of his throat. It was both familiar and unfamiliar at once, a sensation that he hadn't felt in a very long time. "Damn it..."He closed his eyes, trying to hold back the rising bile. He could feel the muscles in his abdomen contracting, his throat constricting. It was like his body was rebelling against the changes happening within him. "Come on, keep it down..."
But his body had other plans. With an uncontrollable heave, Alastor wretched, his whole body shaking as he vomited into the toilet. The metallic taste now became even more intense, the foul-smelling substance leaving his throat, and Husk walked in, bleary-eyed and groggy from sleep. He had been woken up by the sound of Alastor retching, and now stood in the doorway, watching with concern as his friend knelt over the toilet bowl. "Alastor? You okay, Boss?"
Alastor coughed weakly, spitting out the last remnants of bile into the toilet. He looked up at Husk, his face pale and drawn. "Just peachy," he said sarcastically, his voice hoarse from the strain of vomiting. "Just great."Husk grimaced, taking a step closer to Alastor. "You don't look too good. What happened?" He placed a hand on Alastor's back, rubbing soothing circles as the Radio Demon leaned against the toilet bowl, still looking a bit green around the edges. Alastor leaned into the touch, taking deep breaths to calm his stomach. "Just...morning sickness," he mumbled, still feeling queasy. "It's been happening every damn day for the past week."
Husk's brow furrowed in concern. "Every day? Damn, Boss, that doesn't sound good. You sure you're alright?" He continued rubbing circles on Alastor's back, his touch gentle and comforting. Alastor doubled over again, a fresh wave of nausea washing over him. He retched into the toilet, his body shaking with the force of it. Husk held onto him tighter, trying to steady him. "Easy, buddy. Just get it all out." Alastor let out a weak groan, leaning heavily on Husk. "Easy for you to say...you're not the one puking your guts out." But despite his grumbling, he leaned into Husk's touch. Husk then said " Look I know we don't normally get a long but maybe for now we should just have truths."
Alastor paused, considering Husk's words. For a moment, he wanted to scoff and reject the idea outright. But then something inside him shifted. Maybe it was the exhaustion, or the lingering nausea, or the sheer desperation of his situation, but he found himself nodding. "Alright. Truths it is."Husk's eyes widened in surprise. He hadn't expected Alastor to agree so easily. "Really? No smartass remarks or sarcastic comments?"
Alastor shook his head, a weary expression on his face. "Believe me, I could come up with a hundred snappy comments right now. But...I think I just can't muster the energy. So, yeah. Let's do this." Alastor's hand instinctively went to his stomach, his face turning even paler than before. He groaned, closing his eyes tightly. "Ugh...not again. Shit."
Husk took notice of Alastor's discomfort, his expression hardening with concern. "Here, lean forward a bit." He placed a firm hand on Alastor's back, guiding his head towards the toilet bowl. "Just breathe in and out, nice and slow."Alastor fought against the overwhelming urge to retch, his body shaking with the effort. He let out a guttural moan, his knuckles white from how tightly he was gripping the edge of the toilet seat. "Can't...stop...the...na-" He was cut off by a violent wave of nausea, and he doubled over, vomiting into the bowl. Husk held him steady, his expression Husk handed him a wet cloth to wipe his mouth. "Morning sickness is a real pain in the ass, I'll give you that. But it won't last forever, buddy. You just gotta ride it out."
Alastor then said looking at him with confusion and stress from the pain "how do you know so much about this?"
Husk then said "My wife went through the pregnancy unfortunately we lost the baby but the morning sickness was always the worst part." Alastor's expression softened, surprised by Husk's admission. He had always assumed Husk was a bachelor, never considering that he might have experienced something like this before. "I'm so sorry, Husk," he said softly. "I had no idea."
Husk waved off the concern, shrugging nonchalantly. "It is what it is, pal. Can't change the past." He gave Alastor a rueful smile, a flicker of pain in his eyes. "But yeah, the morning sickness was a real nightmare. I remember my wife going through hell every day. And the hormones... don't even get me started."Alastor winced in sympathy, imagining the ordeal Husk's wife must have gone through. "No wonder you're handling my grumpy ass with such patience. You've been through this before."Husk chuckled dryly. "Yeah, I guess I have. And you're definitely a handful, that's for sure." He ruffled Alastor's hair affectionately, a rare gesture from the normally grumpy cat demon. Alastor grumbled as he ruffled his hair. Alastor rolled his eyes, swatting away Husk's hand. "Oh, shut it. I am a delight to be around." Despite his grumbling, there was a hint of fondness in his voice.
As the day wore on, Alastor found himself in an increasingly emotional and frustrated state. Every time he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror, he was confronted with the reality of his changing body. His chest stuck out just slightly more than before, and the rest of his body was starting to fill out in ways he'd never expected. It was all he could think about. He spent hours in front of the mirror, poking and prodding at his body. He'd poke at his chest, his stomach, his hips. He'd look at his arms and his thighs, hating how his once lean physique was now starting to become fuller. He'd run his fingers through his hair, grimacing at the slight softness of it. He hated every single change.
He felt trapped, like his own body was betraying him. He wanted to scream, to break something, to do anything to make the changes stop. But there was nothing he could do. He was stuck like this, his body slowly morphing against his will. And the worst part was, he had no idea how far the changes would go. Alastor tried to wipe away the tears that were welling up in his eyes, but they kept coming. He hated this feeling, this overwhelming sense of helplessness. He was an Overlord, for crying out loud. He was supposed to be strong, powerful, in control. But now he felt weak, powerless, and utterly out of control. Lucifer was walking down the hallway when he heard the sound of soft sobs coming from Alastor's room. He paused, his curiosity piqued. He'd never heard Alastor cry before. He quietly approached the door, listening to the sound of stifled sobs and quiet sniffles.
The king of hell pushed open the door slowly, peeking into the room. He saw Alastor sitting on the bed, his head in his hands, his shoulders shaking with every sob. Lucifer's heart sank at the sight. It was an odd sight, seeing the Radio Demon so vulnerable and broken. Lucifer slowly entered the room, his footsteps almost silent on the floor. He approached Alastor, sitting down gingerly next to him on the bed. "Alastor...?" he said softly, his voice filled with concern. Alastor looked up, his eyes red and swollen from crying. He sniffed, swiping at his cheeks to try and hide the tears. "L-Lucifer... What are you doing here? Please go." His voice was hoarse and rough, barely above a whisper. Lucifer doesn't leave but walked towards the bed Lucifer's expression softened as he looked at Alastor's tear-streaked face. "I heard you crying," he said gently. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
Alastor didn't even hesitate. He practically collapsed into Lucifer's arms, burying his face in the king of hell's chest. He clung to him tightly, his whole body shaking with sobs. Lucifer wrapped his arms around Alastor, holding him tightly against his chest. He rubbed soothing circles on Alastor's back, trying to comfort him. "Shhh... it's okay, Alastor. Let it out," he murmured, his voice low and gentle. Alastor let out a strangled sob, burying his face further into Lucifer's chest. "I... I h-hate it," he managed to choke out through his tears. "I h-hate my body. It's changing, and I c-can't stop it..." Lucifer's heart ached at the pain and desperation in Alastor's voice. He held him tighter, trying to offer comfort and understanding. "I know," he whispered. "I know it's not easy, seeing your body change like this. But you're still the same person, Alastor. You're still the same powerful, stubborn demon you've always been. Even though it's weird seeing you so emotional." Alastor sobbing subsided for a bit, his fingers clutching desperately at Lucifer's shirt looking at him with disbelief . "You think I wanted to be emotional?" he whimpered through tears. "I feel like my body is betraying me. I don't recognize myself anymore..."
Lucifer gently ran his fingers through Alastor's hair, trying to soothe him. "I know it feels that way, but you have to remember that it's still you in there. Your body changing doesn't change who you are, Alastor. You're still the same Radio Demon we all know and love."
Chapter 4: Cheering him up
Chapter Text
Husk stopped in his tracks when he saw the sight in front of him. Alastor, the normally unflappable Radio Demon, was sobbing in Lucifer's arms, looking more vulnerable and broken than Husk had ever seen. Husk stood there, stunned for a moment, the glass of water clutched in his hand. Lucifer looked up at Husk, his expression calm and controlled, despite the emotional scene unfolding in front of them. "Ah, Husk," he said softly, still holding Alastor in his arms. "Just in time. Alastor could use some water."
Husk, still slightly stunned by the sight of a crying Alastor, nodded and approached them. He handed the glass of water to Lucifer, his gaze flicking down to Alastor, who was still sobbing uncontrollably. "Is he... okay?" Husk asked quietly, his voice filled with concern. Lucifer took the glass of water with one hand, his other arm still wrapped securely around Alastor. He sighed, his expression softening even more. "No, he's not," he replied quietly. "But he will be. He just needs some time to work through things."Husk nodded, watching as Lucifer gently coaxed Alastor to drink some water. The usually cocky and arrogant Radio Demon now looked like a shattered shell of his former self. Husk felt a pang of sympathy, seeing Alastor in such a vulnerable state. "Poor bastard..." he muttered under his breath.
Lucifer heard Husk's muttered words and shot him a warning glare. "Now's not the time for your usual snark, Husk," he said sternly.
Husk raised his hands in surrender, backing away a step. "Alright, alright. I know when to shut up." He turned to go, but hesitated for a moment. "Just...take care of him, okay?" He looked over at Alastor, who was now curled up against Lucifer's chest, still sniffling softly. Lucifer's expression softened as he nodded. "I will," he assured Husk. "Don't worry. I'll take care of him."
Husk nodded, giving one last worried glance at Alastor before leaving the room, leaving Alastor and Lucifer alone once more. As soon as Husk left the room, Alastor buried his face back in Lucifer's chest, his sobs gradually subsiding into quiet sniffles. Lucifer continued to hold him, his fingers running soothingly through Alastor's hair. "There you go, let it all out," he murmured softly. "I've got you."Alastor's grip on Lucifer loosened a bit as his sobs died down, his entire body trembling. He took ragged breaths, trying to compose himself.
"I...I h-hate feeling so weak," he finally managed to say, his voice shaky. "I'm s-supposed to be s-strong, not some...some sniveling mess."Lucifer shook his head, his grip on Alastor tightening. "Strength isn't about never showing weakness, Alastor," he said firmly. "It's about allowing yourself to be vulnerable and trusting others to support you. You're not weak for letting your emotions show, you're strong for allowing yourself to be vulnerable in front of me."Alastor let out a shaky breath, his body relaxing a little more. He knew deep down that Lucifer was right, but it was hard to accept.
"I just...I miss the old me," he whispered, his voice still tinged with pain. "I miss feeling strong and in control. Now I just feel...helpless." Lucifer sighed, his expression softening further. He could understand exactly where Alastor was coming from. "Change is never easy," he said quietly. "But you're still the same person inside, Alastor. You're still the same powerful Radio Demon. This is just a temporary bump in the road."
Over the next few days, Alastor found himself swinging between intense bouts of rage, deep sorrow or an overwhelming feeling of elation. One moment he'd be flying off the handle with anger, the next he'd be sobbing uncontrollably, and the next he'd be giggling uncontrollably with happiness. It was a constant cycle, and it was driving him insane. With these drastic mood swings, Alastor's powers and demon form began to fluctuate wildly. One moment he'd be in complete control of his powers, the next they'd be fizzling out completely. At the same time, his demon form began to change, shifting in appearance depending on his current mood. When he felt angry, his form would become monstrous and wild. When he was sad, it would shrink and appear small and vulnerable. And when he was happy, it would become almost radiant.
This constant shift in his powers and form confused and alarmed Alastor even more. He didn't understand what was happening to him, and he was starting to fear for his own sanity. He found himself avoiding people more and more, preferring to stay in his room and isolate himself from everyone, including Lucifer. Husk was growing concerned. He'd noticed that Alastor hadn't left his room in days, and it was unlike him to avoid everyone for so long. Despite his usual grumpy demeanor, Husk felt a sense of worry gnawing at him.
He took a deep breath and knocked softly on Alastor's door. "Alastor?" he called out softly. "Are you in there?"There was a moment of silence, and then a soft, tired voice responded. "Go away, Husk," Alastor voice was hoarse. "I don't want to see anyone right now." Husk sighed. He knew that tone. Alastor was in one of his more sensitive moods. But he couldn't just leave him alone, not like this. "Tough luck, pal," he said firmly. "I ain't going anywhere. Open up."There was a shuffling sound from inside the room, and then the door creaked open. Alastor stood there, looking exhausted and disheveled. His normally neat hair was messy, his clothes were wrinkled, and there were bags under his eyes. He looked like he hadn't slept in days.
Husk's eyes widened slightly at the sight of Alastor. He was used to seeing the Radio Demon in full control, and seeing him looking so vulnerable and worn down was a shock. He stepped forward, his concern growing even more. "Damn, pal. You look like hell."Husk's gaze flickered downward, noticing Alastor's hand on his stomach. He raised an eyebrow. "Is something wrong with your stomach?" he asked, taking a few steps closer. Alastor let out a bitter laugh, his hand rubbing circles on his stomach. "That's an understatement," he said, shaking his head. "Everything's wrong with my stomach. One minute it's cramps, the next it's nausea, or it feels like a damn blender's inside me."
Alastor's hand paused on his stomach, his eyes widening as he felt a strange sensation in his abdomen. It felt like...kicking? He frowned, confused and a little alarmed. He gently pressed his hand against his stomach, feeling another soft kick or two. "What the...?" Alastor whispered, his heart beginning to race. He pressed his hand harder against his stomach, feeling several more soft kicks. It was like something was moving inside him, pushing against the skin from the outside. It actually kind of tickles alastor laughs at the sensation of it Husk, who was still standing nearby, watched this with a mixture of confusion and surprise. He had never seen Alastor look so...vulnerable. And now he was actually giggling from the feeling of the kicks. Husk's gruff exterior softened even more.
"Does that...hurt, or...?" Husk asked, unable to hide the slight hint of concern in his voice as he watched Alastor gently massaging his stomach, still feeling the kicks. Husk raised an eyebrow, hesitating for a moment. But then he stepped closer, curiosity getting the better of him. He slowly reached out his hand, placing it gently on Alastor's stomach. He felt it immediately. The kicks were faint, but definitely there. It was like feeling a soft, rhythmic thump against his palm. Husk's eyes widened, his fingers gently pressing against the skin. "Holy hell," he said softly. "Is...is that...?""Yeah," Alastor said, a small, shaky laugh escaping him. "It's the babies." He winced slightly as another kick landed in his stomach. "Feels like they're having a party in there."
Husk just stood there, his hand still pressed against Alastor's stomach, his mind racing. Babies. That word hit him like a ton of bricks. Alastor, the powerful, cocky Radio Demon, was carrying babies. It was a wild thought.
"How...how many are in there?" Husk asked softly, his hand still gently stroking the skin. Alastor then said "just two."Husk's eyes widened even more, his expression shifting from bewildered to outright stunned. "Just...two?" he repeated, still trying to wrap his mind around the situation. "You're carrying not one, but two babies?"Alastor nodded, a small, weary smile crossing his face. "Yeah, just two," he said, his hand rubbing his stomach once again. "Seems like they're both really active today." The babies kicked at the same time, as if to punctuate his words.
It was early in the morning when Alastor stumbled out of his room, still looking tired and disheveled. He made his way into the bathroom and promptly vomited into the toilet, the sound loud in the stillness of the early morning. Husk, who was already awake and drinking a cup of coffee in the kitchen, heard the sound and quickly went to check on Alastor.
"You alright in there, boss?" he called out, knocking gently on the bathroom door. Alastor groaned in response, his face still hovering over the toilet bowl. "Just peachy," he said dryly, spitting into the toilet. "Morning sickness is really kicking my ass today."Husk sighed, leaning against the doorframe. He was used to seeing Alastor looking composed and in control, but now he just looked like a hot mess. "Yeah, I bet it is," he said gruffly. "You don't look so good, pal."
Alastor then said with tiredness "I have to go to the overlord meeting today."Husk raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical. "You sure you're up for that?" he asked, crossing his arms. "You look like you can barely stand upright."Alastor then declared with frustration "I don't have a choice Rosie's making me." Husk grunted, shaking his head. "Of course she is," he muttered. "Always playing puppet master, that one." He looked at Alastor, concern etched on his face. "But seriously, pal. You really think you can handle being surrounded by a bunch of pompous overlords in the state you're in right now?"Husk grunted, shaking his head. Alastor let out a frustrated sigh, straightening up as best he could. "I don't have a choice," he said, voice laced with irritation. "The meeting is mandatory, and Rosie will have my head if I don't show up. I'll make it through. I always do."
Alastor then said with slight worry " I need to find a way to hide my pregnancy from the other overlords."Husk raised an eyebrow, his concern growing even more. "Yeah, good luck with that," he said sarcastically. "Those guys are like a pack of vultures, always on the lookout for weakness. And a demon carrying babies is definitely gonna raise some eyebrows. And probably some comments from Valentino." Alastor's mouth twisted into a scowl as he thought about Valentino. He knew the overlord of lust was probably going to be the biggest pain in his ass today. "Yeah, I know," he grumbled, wiping his mouth with a tissue. "Valentino is gonna have a field day when he finds out. He won't ever let me hear the end of it."
Husk winced as he watched Alastor struggle to hold back more nausea, his expression turning even grimmer. "Damnit, Alastor," he said softly. "You really shouldn't be going to that meeting today. Your body's already going through hell, and having to deal with those assholes on top of that..." He trailed off, shaking his head. Husk then said " I’m coming with you besides I'm an overlord even without my powers"
Alastor then said looking at him really surprised by husks. Offer " You haven't been in that meeting for years" Husk rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. "Yeah, I haven't been in that damn meeting in years," he said dryly. "But that doesn't change the fact that I'm still an overlord, same as you. And I'm not about to let you go in there looking like you're about to fall over at any moment." Alastor looked stubborn for a moment, but then sighed, realizing that Husk was right. He was in no condition to be facing off against the other overlords right now. And having Husk with him might make things a little easier.
"Fine," he said grudgingly. "You can come. But please... just keep a low profile."

Trigger warning: emetophobia
Carmilla was surprised to see Husk in the meeting and said happily “Husk it’s good to see you back here.” Husk nodded at her and said as he took his seat next to Alastor “Good to be back but I’m here for Alastor I won’t be making a habit out of it.” Camilla nodded in understanding and said “Well it’s good to see you regardless.” During the rest of the meeting Husk could tell Alastor was trying desperately to keep up a facade of nonchalance, but it was clear he was barely holding it together. As soon as Vox walked into the meeting room, his eyes immediately found Alastor, and a sly smirk spread across his face."Well, well, well," he said slowly, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "If it isn't the Radio Demon himself. Looking a little... under the weather, aren't we? Sorry for dropping in late had a photo shoot.” Camilla rolled her eyes at him but The overlords could feel the tension between them and alastor said to Vox "Fuck you." The other overlords around them exchanged surprised glances, whispers already starting to fill the room. Alastor, who was usually the epitome of formality and class, had just cussed loudly. And at Vox, no less.Vox, however, was not at all fazed by Alastor's outburst. In fact, he looked positively gleeful. "Someone's in a bad mood," he said, his smirk growing even wider.
Alastor gritted his teeth, his hand gripping the edge of the table. He knew he was making a scene, but he couldn't bring himself to care. He was too frustrated, too tired, too nauseous to give a damn. "Just shut up, Vox," he snapped. "I'm not in the mood for your bullshit today."Vox chuckled, clearly amused by Alastor's attitude. "Oh, look who's feeling feisty today," he said mockingly. "The great Radio Demon, reduced to a snarling mess. It's kind of adorable, actually." Husk, sitting next to Alastor, could tell that the Radio Demon was struggling to keep himself together. His face was pale, his hands trembling slightly as he tried to hold back a wave of nausea. But Vox was oblivious to Alastor's discomfort, his attention focused solely on provoking him.
Vox took a step closer, his smirk growing even wider. "What's the matter, Radio Demon? Something not sitting well in that empty stomach of yours?" Alastor's grip on the table tightened even more, his knuckles turning white. He could feel the bile rising up in his throat, but he refused to let Vox see him weakened. He wouldn't give him the satisfaction.
"I'm fine," he said through gritted teeth, "just peachy."Vox chuckled again, clearly not believing him for a second. "Oh, come on, Alastor," he taunted, circling around the table until he was standing right next to the Radio Demon. "You're not fooling anyone with that act. You look like you're about to hurl." Alastor felt his stomach churning even harder, the nausea almost overwhelming now. He was desperately trying to keep it together, but it was becoming harder and harder with each passing moment.
Vox, sensing Alastor's weakening control, leaned in closer, his smirk growing even wider. "Why don't you just admit it?" he whispered, his voice mocking. "You're weak. Weak and useless."Alastor's eyes blazed with anger as he covered his mouth with his hands turning his head away from Vox, his jaw clenched tightly eyes squeezing close . He wanted to snap back, to lash out at Vox, but the nausea was too powerful. He could barely focus on anything other than the churning in his stomach.
Vox chuckled again, enjoying the torture he was inflicting on the Radio Demon. He could tell that Alastor was hanging on by a thread, and he was determined to break it. "Just let go," he whispered, leaning even closer. "Give in to the weakness." Carmilla Carmine then said with concern never seen Alastor like this before "Alastor are you alright?" Alastor felt the gag Alastor managed to tear his gaze away from Vox for a moment, his eyes landing on Carmilla. She was looking at him with concern etched on her face, her eyebrows furrowed in worry.
"I'm... fine," he managed to grit out, the words feeling like sandpaper in his throat. But his voice was strained, and he was starting to look downright ill.
Carmilla's eyes narrowed, her concern deepening. She could tell that Alastor was lying through his teeth, but before she could say anything, Vox cut in with a mocking chuckle. "He's far from fine," he said, a smug smirk plastered on his face. "He's practically falling apart at the seams."Alastor then threw up on Vox coughing and gasping for air Husk couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as he smirked and watched Vox get covered in Alastor's vomit. It was a small bit of karma for the pain and suffering he had caused the Radio Demon.
Vox let out a strangled cry, his face contorted in disgust as he tried to wipe the vomit off his face. "Ugh! What the hell, Alastor?!"Alastor, feeling a small burst of petty satisfaction at Vox's annoyance, managed a small smirk. "Oops," he said dryly, his voice still weak. "My sincerest apologies for ruining your perfect suit."Alastor then said still feeling weak " Doesn't feel good. Does it to have something happen to you that you didn't wish for."Vox's expression faltered for a moment, his jaw clenching tightly. He knew exactly what Alastor was alluding to, and he didn't appreciate it in the slightest.
"Shut up," he hissed, his eyes narrowing. "You're being ridiculous."Alastor, still feeling weak but relishing in Vox's discomfort, chuckled darkly. "I'm the one being ridiculous?" he retorted. "You're the one who drugged me and left me to deal with the consequences. Don't talk about 'not wishing for something'."Vox's expression twisted into a scowl, his irritation growing even more. "Oh, please," he snapped, his voice tinged with bitterness. "It was a harmless prank, nothing more. And you're really milking it for all it's worth."
Alastor's eyes flashed with anger, his words biting. "Harmless prank?" he repeated, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You call messing with someone's body 'harmless'? I've been vomiting my guts out for weeks because of your 'prank.' And don't get me started on the mood swings, the nausea, the constant fatigue."Vox rolled his eyes, his annoyance clear on his face. "Oh, boo-hoo," he said sarcastically. "Poor little Radio Demon, having to deal with a few side effects. It's not like I made you suffer through something life-threatening."Vox rolled his eyes, his annoyance clear on his face. "Oh, boo-hoo," he said sarcastically. "Poor little Radio Demon, having to deal with a few side effects. It's not like I made you suffer through something life-threatening."Alastor's hands clenched into fists, his eyes flaring with anger. "Not life-threatening, huh?" he snapped. "Tell that to my stomach, which is constantly trying to turn itself inside out. Tell that to my hormones, which are so out of whack that I can barely stand up some days."Alastor then said " WE don't even know how I'm supposed to give birth you DUMB FUCK!"
Vox's expression flickered for a moment, his bravado wavering slightly. He hadn't thought about the fact that Alastor hadn't even considered how he was supposed to give birth. But he quickly recovered, a cocky smirk spreading across his face.
"Oh, please," he said, rolling his eyes. "You're blowing this way out of proportion. It's not like it's impossible for you to give birth. Plenty of male demons do it all the time."Alastor's face contorted with anger, his eyes practically spitting fire. "Oh, really?" he snapped, his voice dripping with venom. "Name one male demon who's given birth. Just one."Vox faltered for a second, his confidence slipping a little. He hadn't expected Alastor to call him out like that. He tried to think of a comeback, a sarcastic reply, anything to deflect the question. But his mind came up blank. He couldn't think of a single male demon who had given birth. Carmilla Carmine who had been listening with the others picking up the pieces of the conversation then said genuinely shocked and confused "Wait you're pregnant?!"
The other overlords turned their attention to Carmilla, their eyes widening in surprise at her words. Alastor cringed, realizing what he had accidentally revealed.Vox's face twisted into a sly smirk, clearly enjoying the chaos unfolding. "Looks like the cat's out of the bag," he said, his voice dripping with mockery. "Congratulations, Radio Demon. You just exposed your little secret."
Chapter 6: F….UCK
Chapter Text
Alastor cursed himself inwardly, regretting his moment of weakness. He had wanted to keep his pregnancy a secret, at least for a little while longer. But now that Carmilla had blurted it out, there was no going back.
The other overlords began murmuring amongst themselves, their eyes fixed on Alastor with a mixture of confusion and curiosity. Husk, who had been watching the entire exchange quietly, shot Alastor a look of concern. Husk then said answering Carmillas question " Yeah he is because this DUMB FUCKER DRUGGED HIM AS EXPERIMENT!"
Husk's sharp words cut through the murmurs of the other overlords, and all eyes turned to Vox. Husk's sharp words cut through the murmurs of the other overlords, and all eyes turned to Vox. The Tv Demon smug expression faltered for a second, realizing that he had been caught out. Vox opened his mouth to deny it, but before he could speak Carmilla interrupted as she asked Vox. "Is that true?" Her firm cold. "Did you drug him for an experiment?"
Vox's cheeks flushed pink, his confidence crumbling under Carmilla's sharp gaze. "It-it was just an experiment," he said, trying to sound casual. "I didn't think it would really do anything."Husk let out a scoff of disbelief, his expression hardening. "That's bullshit, and you know it," he spat. "You knew exactly what that drug would do. You just wanted to mess with him."Vox sputtered, desperately trying to come up with a defense. "It-it wasn't that big of a deal," he protested, his voice wavering. "It was just a harmless prank, nothing more."Alastor, who had been watching Vox's attempt at an explanation, let out a bitter laugh. "Harmless prank," he repeated, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Right." Husk then declared as he walked up to him his arms crossed “ Would a harmless prank, change a man’s whole body just in order to carry a baby?!”
Vox's smirk faltered, his confident facade crumbling. He knew he had been caught, and there was no arguing his way out of this one.The other overlords were starting to look more and more appalled at the situation unfolding before them. Carmilla's expression was one of utter disgust, her gaze fixed on Vox with a cold fury.
Vox tried to protest, to make some sort of excuse, but the words choked up in his throat. Husk, sensing that he had the upper hand now, continued to press the issue, not giving Vox a chance to recover.“You knew exactly what you were doing," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "You knew what that drug would do to him. And you didn't care. You just wanted to satisfy your own twisted curiosity."
Husk then said as his eyes narrowed at him pocking his chest with anger “ You’re practically using him as your personal incubator without his consent!” Vox's face paled, the color draining from his face as he realized that. Husk was right. He had, in effect, used Alastor as a guinea pig, subject to his whims and experiments without any concern for the Radio Demon's consent. “I...it wasn't like that," Vox protested weakly, his voice faltering. "It was just for research, nothing more."Husk growled in frustration, his patience thinning. "Research, my ass," he snapped. "You used him like a lab rat, just to satisfy your own twisted curiosity. And now look at him. Vomiting his guts out every morning, tired and exhausted all the time, dealing with mood swings. You think that's just harmless research?"
Vox struggled to find the words to respond as he cleaned himself up , his facade of confidence crumbling completely. He had no argument, no excuse for what he had done. He had used Alastor for his own twisted experiments, and the aftermath was clear for all to see.The other overlords were completely silent, stunned by the revelation. Carmilla looked angrier than ever, her gaze fixed on Vox with a cold fury. Alastor, still weak and nauseous, looked utterly betrayed. Husk continued to press the issue, his anger growing with every word. "You had no right," he said firmly. "You had no right to mess with his body like that. Alastor isn't some piece of meat for you to experiment on. He's a person, with feelings and autonomy. And you took that away from him. For what? Your own sick entertainment?"
Alastor doubled over, clutching his stomach as another wave of nausea washed over him. His face went even paler, a thin layer of sweat breaking out on his forehead. He tried to steady his breathing, to keep himself from throwing up right then and there. The other overlords watched him with a mixture of concern and revulsion, their attention briefly shifting from Vox to the suffering Radio Demon. Husk moved closer to Alastor, placing a supportive hand on his back. "You alright, pal?" he asked quietly, his concern growing.
Alastor took a shaky breath, his hand still clutching his stomach. "Just...just nauseous again," he managed to say, his voice weak and trembling. Husk then said as hands him something to eat a breakfast bar “You need to eat you haven’t all day lack of food make you feel worse.” Husk expression softening with concern. " And try to take deep breaths," he said gently, still rubbing soothing circles on Alastor's back. "It helps sometimes."
Alastor nodded weakly, his body trembling as he tried to control his nausea. He focused on taking slow, steadying breaths, trying to ignore the churning feeling in his stomach. Alastor ate the bar that Husk gave him and it helped a little. The other overlords watched as Husk attended to Alastor, silently observing in quiet sympathy. Even Carmilla, her expression still filled with anger, couldn't help but feel a twinge of pity for the suffering Radio Demon.
Vox, for his part, looked increasingly uncomfortable, his confident facade completely shattered as he watched the aftermath of his actions play out before him. Alastor's nausea slowly subsided, his breathing steadying slightly as Husk continued to rub soothing circles on his back. He looked even more exhausted than before, his face pale and sweaty, his body trembling.
Husk kept a supportive hand on his back, watching him closely. "Feeling any better?" he asked quietly, his tone gentle. Alastor nodded weakly, taking another shaky breath. "Yeah...a little," he admitted, his voice still strained. "The nausea's eased up a bit. But I still feel like crap overall."Vox then said crossing his arms getting irritated that Alastor was getting the attention “Please your being dramatic.”
Carmilla Carmine “Vox Enough!”Vox went silent, his bravado completely shattered by Carmilla's sharp tone. He looked like a scolded child.
Alastor, still feeling nauseous and exhausted, looked ready to snap at Vox's comment. But before he could open his mouth, Husk beat him to the punch.
"Dramatic?" he repeated, his voice low and dangerous. "Are you kidding me? Alastor is dealing with constant nausea and fatigue. He can't even keep a damn meal down half the time. Don't talk to me about dramatic."Zestial then said being the voice of reason “He should go home and rest well talk some sense into Vox.” Husk nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "That's a good idea," he said, gently helping Alastor stand up from his chair. "You need to rest, pal."Alastor nodded weakly, leaning on Husk for support. His exhaustion was evident in every line of his face, and he looked like he was barely holding himself together.
The other overlords watched in silence as Husk helped Alastor towards the exit, a mix of concern and disgust on their faces. Vox stood apart from the rest, looking almost guilty. As Husk and Alastor made their way to the exit, the other overlords turned their attention back to Vox, their expressions stern and disapproving.
Carmilla was the first to speak, her voice cold and hard. "You really messed up this time, Vox," she said, her eyes narrowing in anger. "What the hell were you thinking, giving Alastor that damn drug?"
Vox fidgeted nervously under the weight of Carmilla's glare, his bravado completely gone. "It was just an experiment," he muttered weakly, trying to defend himself. "I didn't know it was going to have that strong of an effect on him."Carmilla rolled her eyes, her expression hardening even further. "You Didn’t Know?! That's your excuse? You messed with his body without his consent, just to satisfy your own damn curiosity. And now look at the state he's in."Carmilla rolled her eyes, her expression hardening even further. "That's your excuse? You messed with his body without his consent, just to satisfy your own damn curiosity. And now look at the state he's in."
Vox squirmed, looking increasingly uncomfortable under Carmilla's gaze. "I didn't mean for it to go this far," he protested weakly. "I just wanted to see what would happen, okay? I didn't think it would actually..." his voice trailed off as he looked towards the exit, where Husk and Alastor had disappeared. Zestial then Spoke “ Is there a way to reverse it?” Vox winced and said “No… he has to go through the process. Abortion isn’t even an option.”
The room fell silent, the other overlords exchanging shocked glances. The implications of Vox's words hung like a dark cloud over them all. Finally, Carmilla broke the silence, her voice quiet, but firm. "So you're saying there's no way to reverse this? He's stuck like this?"
Vox nodded, his expression shamefaced. "Yeah," he confirmed, his voice little more than a whisper. "The drug is pretty much irreversible. Once it's in the system, there's no way to reverse the effects."The other overlords exchanged grim looks, the weight of Vox's words sinking in. Alastor, one of their strongest overlords, was now irreversibly altered, and there was nothing they could do about it. Carmilla's expression darkened even further, her anger nearly palatable. "How long will it last?" she asked, her voice cold.
Vox then declared as he moved his feet around sheepishly “ It should last how normal pregnancy does so nine months.”Carmilla's eyes widened in shock. "Nine months?" she repeated incredulously. "You're telling me Alastor is going to be in this state for nine months?"Vox nodded, looking guilty as hell. "Yep," he confirmed, his voice barely above a whisper. "The effects of the drug are long-term. Alastor will be dealing with the side effects for the entire nine-month duration." The other overlords exchanged horrified glances, their expressions grave. Alastor, who had always been such a strong and formidable presence, was now reduced to this weakened state, and he would be dealing with it for months to come.
Carmilla's expression turned into a scowl, her eyes narrowing with anger. "This is all your fault," she said, her voice sharp and cutting. "You did this to him, Vox."Vox waves his hands in the air and crosses his arms and says “Well what do you want me to do?” Carmilla rolled her eyes, her anger still simmering just below the surface. "Gee, I don't know, Vox," she said sarcastically. "How about apologizing to Alastor and taking responsibility for your actions? Or is that too much to ask of you?"
Vox shifted uncomfortably under Carmilla's gaze, looking like he would rather be anywhere else. "Yeah, yeah, I know," he muttered, not meeting her eyes. "I screwed up. I know that. But what do you want me to do? I can't just undo this." Camilla then said as she moved her hands toward her mouth covering her chin “Well then you’re just gonna have to figure out how to make this easier for him.” Vox scowled, his expression sulky. "What, like babysit him or something?"
Carmilla rolled her eyes, her patience wearing thin. "Yes, Vox," she snapped. "Babysitting, taking care of his needs, making sure he's comfortable. You know, basic decency."Vox looked like he had just swallowed a lemon, his expression disgusted. "Seriously?" he protested. "You want me to play nursemaid for the next nine months? Are you joking?"Carmilla's expression hardened, her eyes narrowing in anger. "No, I'm not joking," she said, her voice cold. "You caused this mess, Vox. And now you need to take responsibility. That means taking care of Alastor, making sure he's comfortable, and helping him during the next nine months. It's the least you can do after what you've put him through."
Vox opened his mouth to protest, but one sharp glare from Carmilla silenced him. He knew he couldn't argue with her. “Fine," he muttered sulkily. "I'll babysit the Radio Demon for the next nine months. Happy now?" Carmilla rolled her eyes once again, her expression still stern. "Don't sound so thrilled about it, Vox," she said sarcastically. "I know this is a big sacrifice for you, having to look after someone *other* than yourself for a change."
Chapter 7: Trust Me With My Assistance
Chapter Text
After the conversation Vox had With Camilla he went over to the Hazbin Hotel nervously Vox stood outside the Hotel, staring at the door with a conflicted expression. He knew he should go in and check on Alastor, but he dreaded the thought of seeing the Radio Demon looking so weak and vulnerable.
He sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. "Get a grip, Vox," he muttered to himself. "You can't avoid him forever."He took a deep breath and finally raised his hand to knock on the door. The sound seemed to echo through the quiet hallway, and he waited, bracing himself for the inevitable confrontation.
There was a moment of silence, and then the sound of footsteps coming from the other side of the door. Vox braced himself, his heart pounding in his chest. This was it. He was about to face up to the consequences of his actions. The door opened, and Alastor stood in the doorway, looking even more worn out than the day before. His eyes were tired and dull, his limbs trembling slightly. He looked like he hadn't slept at all.
Vox swallowed hard, feeling a pang of guilt as he saw the state the Radio Demon was in. But he forced himself to stay calm.
"Hey," he said gruffly, his voice sounding fake even to his own ears. "Can I come in?"Alastor rubbed his stomach and said with a bitter tone and said surprisingly “Sure.” Vox winced at the bitterness in Alastor's voice, but he pushed down the guilt and stepped into the room.
The first thing he noticed was how much more exhausted Alastor looked in the light of day. His complexion was pale and ashen, his eyes surrounded by dark circles. He looked like he hadn't slept in days.
Vox's heart clenched at the sight, but he tried to keep his expression neutral. "You look like hell," he said gruffly. "Have you been sleeping at all?"Alastor let out a humorless chuckle, his hand still rubbing his stomach. "What do you think?" he said sarcastically.
“It's kinda difficult to sleep when I spend half the night puking my guts out." Vox winced, the guilt washing over him again. He knew all too well that Alastor was sick because of him, and the sight of the Radio Demon's weakened state was a reminder of the pain he had caused. “I'm sorry," he mumbled, feeling like a complete ass. "I didn't...I didn't think it would be this bad."Alastor let out a bitter laugh, his expression hardening. "Yeah," he muttered, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You didn't think at all. That's the problem."
Vox opened his mouth to protest, but Alastor cut him off. "Don't even try to defend yourself, Vox," he said, his voice sharp. "You did this to me. You gave me the damn drug without a single thought about the consequences."Vox went silent, feeling guilty under Alastor's accusing gaze. He knew the Radio Demon was right. He had been stupid and selfish, and now Alastor was paying the price.
"I know," he muttered, his voice barely more than a whisper. "I was an idiot, okay? I messed up."Alastor gritted his teeth, his expression hardening even more. "An idiot?" he repeated, his voice sharp. "That's putting it lightly. You completely disregarded my autonomy, Vox. You treated me like a damn lab rat."Vox winced as he saw the brief flicker of pain across Alastor's face. He knew that the Radio Demon was hurting, in more ways than one.
"Yeah, I know, I know," he muttered, his voice filled with guilt. "I shouldn't have done it. I was a total jackass. I just..." He trailed off, not sure what else to say. Alastor let out a sigh, his expression softening just a bit. "You just wanted to satisfy your own damn curiosity," he said, a hint of bitterness mixed in with his exhaustion. Vox then finally declared sleepy “I want to help you with anything.”Alastor raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical and laughs sarcastically . "Haha Help me?" he repeated, his voice disbelieving. "What the hell do you mean by that? You think you can help me in this state? Or are you just spouting bullshit to make yourself what? feel better?"Vox then said begging hands put together “Pleaseeee let me make this process easier for you.” Alastor's expression softened for a fraction of a second at the desperation in Vox's voice. But he quickly steeled himself, his expression hardening again.
“And how exactly do you plan on doing that?" he asked, his voice still skeptical. "I don't need your pity, Vox."Vox winced at the sharp edge in Alastor's voice, but he pushed on. "It's not pity," he protested, his voice pleading. "I genuinely want to help. I can...I can make sure you're comfortable, bring you food, whatever you need. Come on Al when did you love someone especially me who caused this to happen to be your personal servant?” Alastor thought for a moment as he rubbed his stomach with his hands it would be nice to tire out Vox just for fun. Alastor hesitated, his eyes scanning over Vox's face searchingly. He could sense the sincerity in the Tv Demon's voice, and against his better judgment, he was tempted to believe him.
"Why should I trust you?" he said, his voice harsh. "You're the reason I'm in this mess in the first place."Vox winced again, the guilt and remorse bubbling up inside him. He knew that Alastor had every right not to trust him, but he couldn't give up now.
"I know," he said, his voice low and pleading. "I know I messed up. But I'm here now, and I want to make it right. Just...give me a chance. Please."Alastor studied Vox's face for several long moments, searching for any signs of insincerity. But all he saw was genuine remorse and guilt.
He sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. "Fine," he muttered, his voice soft. "You can...you can help me out. But if you screw up again, even once, I won't hesitate to kick your ass." Vox's expression lit up, relief flooding through him. He hadn't expected Alastor to agree, but he was glad he had.
"I won't screw it up," he said, his voice earnest. "I swear. I'll be the best damn caretaker you've ever had."
Chapter 8: Frenemies
Chapter Text
Vox's expression lit up, relief flooding through him. He hadn't expected Alastor to agree, but he was glad he had.
"I won't screw it up," he said, his voice earnest. "I swear. I'll be the best damn caretaker you've ever had."
Alastor rolled his eyes, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "Oh, I'm sure you will, darling."
He looked the Tv Demon up and down, taking in his confident stance and bright expression. "Just don't get too cocky," he said. "Taking care of me is going to be harder than you think." Over the months Husk couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and concern as he watched Vox become a constant presence around Alastor. Every time he turned around, the Tv Demon was there, hovering over the Radio Demon, helping him with this or that. It was...strange, to say the least.
But what really piqued Husk's curiosity was the change in Alastor's behavior. Normally, the Radio Demon was fiercely independent, not one to accept help from anyone. And yet, he seemed perfectly comfortable letting Vox take care of him. Husk watched in silent wonder as Vox fussed over Alastor like a mother hen, smoothing out wrinkles in his shirt, bringing him blankets, and even adjusting his monocle when it slipped. It was like watching a complete role reversal, and Husk couldn't help but be fascinated by it.
But more than that, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was...off. It was almost as if Vox was acting too nice, too eager to please the Radio Demon. While Alastor was alone with Vox he got up the courage to ask “Do you want to feel them kicking their more active.” Vox looked up, surprised at the question. "You...want me to feel them kicking?" he repeated, his voice tinged with hesitation.
Alastor nodded, his hand resting gently on his belly. "They're being quite active today," he said, a hint of pride in his voice. "Go on, put your hand on my stomach."Alastor then said protectively “Just be gentle.” Vox nodded, looking nervous but determined. He stepped closer, gingerly placing his hand on Alastor's belly.
Almost immediately, he felt a ripple of movement beneath his palm, a small but distinct kick. Vox's eyes widened in amazement, his expression turning into one of awe. "Whoa..." he breathed, his voice soft with wonder. "I can feel them. They're... They're really in there."Alastor chuckled softly, watching Vox's expression closely. He could see the amazement plain on his face, and something about it pleased him. Vox continued to feel the kicks beneath his palm, his amazement growing with each movement. It was strange, but also fascinating to think that there was a life growing inside Alastor, a life that he had unwittingly helped create.
"It's...it's incredible," he murmured, his voice full of wonder. "They're so strong already."Alastor chuckled again, the sound low and soft. "They're feisty, that's for sure," he said, his hand resting over Vox's. "They've got a lot of fight in them."
Vox looked up, meeting Alastor's gaze. There was something in the Radio Demon's eyes that he couldn't quite identify...pride? Protection? Whatever it was, it sent a jolt of something unfamiliar through his chest. Vox then removed his hand from his stomach and said his face softened with guilt “Listen Al I’m sorry for all of this… it’s just when you rejected to be a part of my team. I was the first time I ever let my guard down in front of anyone, but when you just laughed as if it was a joke I kind of snapped that day.” Alastor face softened and he sighed and surprisingly said “ I’m sorry, Vincent….”
Vox's eyes widened at the use of his real name. He hadn't heard it in years, and hearing it from Alastor's lips was a shock. “Y-you're sorry?" he repeated, his voice incredulous. "You're apologizing to me?"Alastor nodded, his expression softening even more. "Yes," he said huskily. "I was cruel, dismissive. I didn't take your proposal seriously." Alastor then said as he took a deep breath and looked at him never had opened up like this before “ There’s no excuse but the reason I was that I’m used of people using me so when you asked me to be a part of your team, your friends so I just thought you were using me like how everybody else was” he said as he fidgeted with his fingers.
Vox's expression softened even further, understanding creeping into his features. He realized now that Alastor's coldness was a defense mechanism, a way to shield himself from the pain of being used.
"That...makes sense," he muttered, his voice low and gentle. "I never wanted to use you, Al. I was sincere about asking you to join my team."Alastor sighed, a hint of vulnerability in his voice. "I know that now," he admitted, his guard lowering even more. "But at the time, I was blinded by paranoia. I guess I just wasn't used to anyone taking an interest in me beyond my reputation."
Vox felt a pang of guilt at the words. He had never considered that the Radio Demon's harsh exterior might be just a facade, masking a wounded heart underneath. Alastor then said ashamed “ I just learned to never get close to people” Vox's heart ached at the words. He could hear the pain in Alastor's voice, the hurt and loneliness that came from years of being abandoned and betrayed. “That must have been hard," he said softly, his tone sympathetic. "To never trust anyone...to always be alone..."
Alastor shrugged, trying to play it off like it was no big deal. "It's just the way things are," he said dismissively. "Better to be alone than to be hurt again." Vox wanted to argue, to tell Alastor that he shouldn't have to live a life without trust and companionship. But he knew that the Radio Demon was too guarded, too used to being alone. Vox then spoke softly he moved closer to him “I..I just want my friend back Al..”
Alastor's expression softened even further, the mask of indifference crumbling. He had been alone for so long, cut off from everyone and everything. But hearing Vox say those words hit something deep inside him, something he had long thought dormant. “You...you still consider me a friend?" he asked softly, his voice wavering slightly. Vox nodded earnestly, his eyes filled with sincerity. "Of course I do," he said, his voice firm. "Even after everything, I still consider you my friend."
Alastor's expression shifted, a mix of surprise and vulnerability flitting across his face. It was clear that he had never expected to hear those words from anyone, especially not from Vox. Vox looked down, a little shocked at the contact. Alastor had never been one for physical touch, especially not with him. But there was something almost...comforting about feeling the Radio Demon's hand in his.Vox gently closed his fingers around Alastor's, offering a small squeeze. Vox then said voice stuttering a bit as he cleared his throat “ You …you know I would’ve found a reversal drug for this, but it will take me to the same amount of years that I made the other one.”
Alastor considered this for a moment, a small frown tugging at the corner of his mouth. "So you could reverse the effects, but it would take just as long as it took to create the drug in the first place," he said, his voice thoughtful.
Vox nodded, his expression serious. "I'm afraid so," he said. "Creating a reversal drug is just as complicated as creating the original drug. It would take me the same amount of time to reverse the effects."Alastor sighed, a hint of resignation in his voice. "So I'm stuck like this for nine months," he said, his hand instinctively rubbing his stomach. "I suppose it could be worse."
Vox looked at him, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "You're handling this surprisingly well," he said, a hint of teasing in his voice. Alastor rolled his eyes, his usual sharpness returning. "What, you thought I'd go all dramatic and cry about how life's unfair?"Vox chuckled, still a little surprised at how Alastor was handling things. "Honestly, yes," he said, his voice lighthearted. "I was expecting you to throw a tantrum." Alastor huffed, his expression mock-offended. "Excuse me, but I am not some spoiled little child," he retorted, his tone indignant. "I can handle a little discomfort, you know."Vox couldn't help but laugh. It was a side of Alastor he had never seen before, and it was unexpectedly endearing. Vox then spoke with uncertainty as he looked at him “ so does this make us Frenemies?” Alastor looks at him with uncertainty as well and says “ we will see”
Chapter 9: braxton hicks
Chapter Text
A eight months later Vox had been helping around and surprisingly they've gotten along and Alastor enjoyed bossing him around then Charlie thought it be a good idea to surprise him with a big baby shower at the hotel with a lot of guests Alastor stomach was big now and Charlie thought it's be good to celebrate. Alastor however stood in the middle of the crowded room, his expression a mix of surprise and annoyance. He had to admit, the baby shower Charlie had thrown for him was...well, impressive.
The hotel was decorated with banners and balloons, and there was an abundance of food and drinks spread out on tables. But the one thing that stood out the most was the throng of guests that filled the room.
Alastor had never been a fan of large crowds, and to be suddenly thrust into the center of a baby shower with dozens of demons in attendance was a bit overwhelming. Alastor let out a deep sigh, scanning the crowd. He spotted many familiar faces, including Charlie and Vaggie, Husk and Nifty, and even Angel Dust, who was currently stuffing his face with food. But there was one face Alastor was looking for, and it was nowhere to be found. Where the hell was Vox? As if on cue, the doors to the hotel opened, and Vox walked in, a sheepish expression on his face. He caught sight of Alastor in the crowd and mouthed "Sorry, I'm late." Alastor's irritation lessened slightly. He was both relieved and annoyed to see Vox finally arrive.
"I know, I know," Vox said, still grinning. "I got held up. But I'm here now."
Alastor rolled his eyes again, but there was a hint of relief in his expression. He wouldn't admit it, but he had been worried that Vox wasn't going to show. Vox then said sheepishly his foot gliding in circles on the floor " Alsooo Velvet, and Valentino might come over."
Alastor rubbed his nose with his fingers clearly irritated at the thought of dealing with them at the party groaned and said " Why those two knuckleheads?" Vox suppressed a smile at Alastor's reaction. "They wanted to come," he said innocently. "They said they couldn't miss the chance to see you all round and pregnant."
Alastor's irritation grew, and he let out an exasperated sigh. "Great. Just what I need. Those two assholes making jokes at my expense the whole night." Vox chuckled, enjoying the sight of Alastor's irritation. "Aw, come on, Al. Lighten up. They're just teasing you because you're adorable in your current state." Alastor bristled at the word "adorable," his irritation turning into a full-blown scowl. "I am not adorable," he snapped. "I'm big and bloated and swollen and uncomfortable. Not adorable." Vox then grabbed his hand and said softly " Listen if they say anything out of hand, I'll kick them out of here promise" Alastor's expression softened with a slight blush as Vox held his hand. He should have been annoyed by the touch, but for some reason, it felt...comforting. He met Vox's gaze, his irritation fading slightly. "You'd really kick them out?" he asked, a hint of vulnerability in his voice. Vox didn't notice the blush as Vox squeezed his hand gently, his expression serious. "In a heartbeat," he said, his tone firm. "I won't let anyone disrespect you, especially not those two clowns."
Alastor's irritation faded even more, replaced by a sense of relief and...affection? He couldn't believe that he was actually feeling grateful for Vox's protective attitude. As Alastor moved around the party, he couldn't help but notice the whispered conversations that surrounded him. Every time he passed by a group of guests, he could hear their voices drop to hushed tones, their eyes darting towards his enormous belly. "Look at the size of him..."
"Is he having multiples or something?" "He looks like he's about to pop any second..." Why was he starting to feel a bit claustrophobic as he walked through the crowds Alastor tried to ignore the whispered comments, but they stung. He had never been one to care about what people thought of him, but the way they were talking about his body made him feel...self-conscious. He knew he looked ridiculous, waddling around with his huge belly, but he couldn't help it. He was eight months pregnant, after all. As the whispers continued, Alastor could feel his irritation grow. He was tired of the stares and comments, tired of feeling like a freak show. He glanced around the room, searching for Vox.
Where the hell was he? Finally, he caught sight of Vox talking with some other guests on the opposite side of the room. He felt a pang in his chest, torn between his irritation and a strange desire for Vox's attention. He wanted him to come over here and...what? Comfort him? Protect him from the whispers and stares? Alastor shook his head, annoyed at himself for even entertaining that thought. He was the Radio Demon, dammit. He didn't need anyone's protection, especially not from Vox of all people.
But even as he tried to convince himself of that, he found himself watching Vox across the room. He watched as Vox laughed at something someone said, his eyes crinkling in amusement. Husk was polishing some glasses behind the bar, his expression bored. He looked up as Alastor approached, a smirk on his face."Well, if it isn't the mother-to-be, or father-to-be?" Husk said hand on his hips as he placed the clean glass cup on the table , eyeing Alastor's belly. "I gotta say, you look like you're about to burst any minute now." Alastor then said with a heavy sigh head on his hands as he sat down "Don't ...say it like that." Husk rolled his eyes, setting down the glass he'd been polishing. "What, you don't like me pointing out the obvious?" he said, sarcasm dripping from his tone. "You're the size of a whale, Al."Alastor huffed, pouting a little.
"Thanks for stating the obvious, smartass. As if I don't realize how huge I am."Husk chuckled, shaking his head. "I'm just saying, man. You look like you're about to pop. When are you due, anyway?"Alastor sighed, resting a hand on his huge belly. "Any day now, apparently," he said, his tone resigned. "And let me tell you, it can't come soon enough. This whole pregnancy thing is a nightmare." He said as he rested his face on his hands fighting back a tired yawn covering his mouth with his hand. Husk raised an eyebrow, noting the exhaustion in Alastor's voice. "You tired, Al?" he asked, his tone surprisingly sympathetic. "You look like you could use a nap."
Alastor let out a tired chuckle and said Alastor grumbled, his irritation returning. "I'm always tired," he said, his voice weary. "Carrying around this gigantic belly is exhausting. I can't sleep, I can't move, I can barely even breathe. And the heartburn is horrendous."Alastor then said "And there's the another thing with this pregnancy sleep this baby is making me sleep you know I never sleep." Husk chuckled, raising an eyebrow at that. "You're telling me this baby is actually making you sleep?" he said, amusement evident in his voice. "That's a first. I thought you were the ultimate insomniac."
Alastor let out a huff, annoyed at the teasing. "It's ridiculous, really," he said, his tone grumpy. "I used to be able to go for days without any sleep at all. But now, this little one is making me collapse as soon as my head hits the pillow."Husk smirked, clearly enjoying Alastor's grumbling. "Sounds like you're being outsmarted by a tiny little bundle, Al," he said, his voice smug. "Who would've thought that the Radio Demon himself would be taken down by a baby bump?"Alastor rolled his eyes, exasperated by Husk's words. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. You try carrying around a bowling ball for nine months and see how well you sleep," he snapped, his tone grumpy and irritable.
Alastor then surprisingly felt Braxton Hicks he never felt this type of pain before he placed his hand on his stomach Alastor gasped, his expression shifting from irritation to pain. He clutched his belly, wincing at the sudden sharp pain."What the...What the hell was that?" he gritted out, his voice strained. Husk noticed the look on Alastor's face, his expression turning serious. "You alright, boss?" he asked, his tone concerned. "You look like you're in pain."
Alastor grimaced, rubbing a hand over his belly. "I...I think so," he said, his voice still strained. "I just felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I've never felt anything like it before."
Husk suddenly had a realization. "Wait. Did it feel like...like a tightening or a cramping sensation?"Alastor nodded, wincing again as another sharp pain hit him. "Yes, exactly like that," he said, his voice pained. "It's like my stomach is...contracting, or something."Husk then said as he walked over to him hand on his shoulder "It's probably braxton hicks." Alastor looked up at Husk, confused by the unfamiliar term. "Braxton...what now?" he said, his voice still strained. "What the hell is a Braxton Hicks?"
Alastor breathed heavily as Husk spoke Husk sighed, his expression serious. "Braxton Hicks are basically like...practice contractions," he said, his tone matter-of-fact. "It's like your body's way of preparing for labor."Alastor then said "But I'm not due until next month right?"Husk then said "yes but sometimes it can happen early it's completely normal boss." Alastor's face paled as he realized the implication of Husk's words. "You're telling me...I could go into labor early?" he asked, his voice strained. Husk nodded, his expression grave. "Yeah, it's possible. But don't panic, okay? Braxton Hicks are pretty normal and they usually don't lead to early labor. Just try to relax and take some deep breaths."
Alastor tried to take deep breaths, but it was hard to stay calm in the midst of the pain. "Easy for you to say," he snapped, his voice tight. "You're not the one feeling like your insides are being rearranged."Husk rolled his eyes, used to Alastor's snarkiness. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. You're in pain. But freaking out isn't going to do you any good. Just focus on breathing, okay? Deep breaths."Alastor then said with irritation " If you say deep breaths one more time, I'll strangle you till your soul leaves your body." Husk then said happily patting him on the back Alastor let out a soft oof " There's the boss I know ." he knew Alastor was just grumpy from the pain. Then he spoke voice ruff "No more 'deep breaths'. Just try to relax, okay? These Braxton Hicks are intense, but they won't last forever."
Vox made his way through the crowd, searching for the familiar figure of Alastor. He hadn't seen him for a little while, and he was starting to get a bit worried. Finally, he spotted Alastor sitting at the bar, looking visibly agitated. Vox hurried over to him, concern etched on his face. "Al? Are you alright?" he asked, putting a hand on his shoulder. "You look...in pain."Alastor winced, glancing up at Vox with a grimace. "I'm fine," he lied through gritted teeth. "Just...Braxton Hicks. They're a bit...painful."Vox frowned, seeing through the lie easily. "Don't bullshit me, Al," he said bluntly. "You're obviously in pain. Is there anything I can do to help?"
Alastor then actually admitted "I.... I do need to lay down."Relief flickered across Vox's face. Finally, Alastor was being honest. "Alright, come on," he said, his tone gentle. "Let's get you to a comfortable spot." He helped Alastor up, supporting his weight with one arm. Alastor leaned heavily on Vox, grateful for the support. The pain was intense, and standing was becoming increasingly difficult. He gritted his teeth, trying to suppress a gasp of pain as another contraction hit him. Vox led him to a quiet corner of the room, away from the noisy guests. He helped Alastor sit down, propping him up against the wall. "There you go," he said, his voice gentle. "Just relax, okay? Try to breathe through the pain."Alastor nodded, his face twisted in pain. He took deep, shaky breaths, trying to ride out the contraction. "I...I'm trying and can everyone stop telling me to breathe," he gasped out, gripping Vox's arm tightly.
Vox knelt down beside him, letting Alastor cling to his arm. He could feel the tension in the Radio Demon's body, the way he was clutching him like a lifeline. "We're only trying to help Al," he said quietly, his voice gentle. "But it'll pass soon." Alastor then said as tears rose and he sniffled he tried not to let the comments on his body get to him from earlier, but he couldn't help it "Vox?"Vox's expression softened as he saw the tears in Alastor's eyes. He reached out, wiping away a tear with gentle fingers. "Yeah, Al?" he asked, his tone soft.
Alastor then said "I think everyone was right about me I.... Have gone soft and attached to this hotel and the people here I really tried not too but I couldn't keep pretending that I didn't care about them."Vox's expression softened even more, his heart swelling with affection. He had noticed the change in Alastor, how he had started to let down his walls. Seeing that vulnerability, that honesty, was both beautiful and heartbreaking. "You don't have to pretend around me," he said softly. "I know you care. You can admit it."Alastor bit his lip, his guard slipping further. He was exhausted, both physically and emotionally. The pain of the contractions and the stress of the party had taken their toll, and he was too tired to keep up his usual facade. "I...I do care," he admitted softly. "I care so much it scares me."
Vox's heart ached at the confession. He could see the fear and vulnerability in Alastor's eyes, the way he was dropping his mask of indifference. It was a rare and beautiful sight, and it made him want to wrap his arms around the Radio Demon and never let go. "It's okay to care," he said gently. "It doesn't make you weak, Al."Alastor let out a pained laugh, wincing as another contraction hit him. The pain was making him feel vulnerable, like he was stripped bare. "I'm the Radio Demon, for crying out loud," he said wryly. "I'm supposed to be a hardened, heartless bastard. Caring isn't exactly in character for me."Vox chuckled softly, his eyes filled with warmth. "You can be a heartless bastard and still care, you know. The two aren't mutually exclusive." He reached out, gently brushing a strand of hair away from Alastor's forehead. "You're allowed to have depth, Al."
Vox turned his tv head into a human head and Alastor said genuinely surprised "I didn't know you could do that."Vox chuckled softly, amused by Alastor's surprise. "Yeah, I can do a lot of things you don't know about," he said, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "But I usually keep that little trick hidden. Can't have everyone knowing I have a handsome face now, can I?"Alastor rolled his eyes affectionately, despite the pain. "Oh, please, you're not *that* handsome." He tried to keep up his usual snark, even as he leaned into Vox's touch. Vox pretended to be offended, placing a hand over his heart in mock shock. "Ouch, Al. That hurts. I'll have you know I'm extremely handsome, thank you very much."
Alastor hesitated as his breath hitched as they leaned in closer about to kiss Vox's heart raced as he leaned in, his gaze flickering down to Alastor's lips. He was close enough to feel the warm puffs of the Radio Demon's breath against his face. "You know, Al..." he murmured softly. Alastor's breath hitched, his body responding to Vox's proximity. He could feel the heat radiating from the other demon's body, and his heart thumped wildly in his chest. "Y-yeah?" he asked, his voice betraying just how affected he was. Vox leaned in even closer, their faces mere inches apart now. He could smell the familiar scent of blood and spice that clung to Alastor's skin, and it sent a jolt of desire straight through him. "There's something I've wanted to do for a long time now," he murmured, his voice low and rough.
Alastor's eyes widened, his own desire building with every passing moment. His heart thrummed loudly in his chest, and he found it hard to focus on anything but the heat building between them. "W-what's that?" he whispered, his voice trembling just slightly. Vox's gaze flicked down to Alastor's lips, his desire growing stronger by the second. He wanted to taste those lips, to kiss the Radio Demon senseless. "You have no idea how badly I've wanted to do this," he whispered, his voice thick with longing. Alastor's lips parted subconsciously, a soft gasp escaping him at the intensity in Vox's voice. He could feel the heat between them building, pooling in his gut and making him want things he shouldn't. "Vox..." he breathed, his voice pleading and needy.
And that sound, that damn sound of his name on Alastor's lips. It was enough to send Vox over the edge. His self-control snapped, and he surged forward, capturing the Radio Demon's lips in a fiercely passionate kiss.
Chapter 10: Lovers?
Chapter Text
Alastor melted into the kiss, letting out a low moan of pleasure. He had wanted this for so long, had dreamed of it for so many nights. To finally feel Vox's lips on his was like a dream come true. His hands instinctively reached out, gripping Vox's shirt tightly as he kissed back with a desperate fervor. Vox moved Alastors hair behind his ear gently as they kissed Vox moved Alastors hair behind his ear gently as they kissed .
Alastor shivered at the gentleness of the gesture, his head spinning with desire and pleasure. He pressed closer to Vox, his body molding against the other demon's. The pain from the Braxton Hicks contractions was forgotten in the heat of the moment, replaced by a powerful need for more. Vox groaned in protest as Alastor broke the kiss, his desire still coursing through him. He pressed his forehead against the Radio Demon's, panting softly. "Damn it, Al," he muttered, his voice rough with arousal. "Why'd you stop?"
Alastor then said with sadness and certainty in his voice as he turned his back to him at,s wrapped around his chest "This ....this won't last." Vox moved closer his brow furrowed in confusion, his lust momentarily forgotten. "What do you mean, it won't last?" he asked gruffly, his hands still gripping Alastor's waist. Alastor hesitated for a moment, his expression conflicted. He knew he was about to dampen the mood, but he had to be honest. "This...whatever this is between us," he said finally, his voice soft and almost sad. "It can't last. We're too different, our lives are too different."
Vox's grip on him tightened reflexively, as if he was afraid Alastor was about to slip away. "Why can't it last?" he asked, his voice low and urgent. Alastor then said with sadness eyes lowered ears flattened down "Cause I know you'll leave Ive never had someone that stayed long ." Vox's heart clenched as he heard the vulnerability in Alastor's voice. He knew how hard the Radio Demon struggled with trust and abandonment. But he wasn't about to give up so easily. "You don't know that," he said firmly. "I'm not going anywhere, Al."Alastor scoffed, a bitter laugh escaping him. "You say that now, but you'll change your mind sooner or later. Everyone always does."
Alastor winced at the pain hand going to his stomach Vox's heart clenched further as he noticed the pain on Alastor's face. He moved his hand from Alastor's waist to his stomach, rubbing gentle circles on the swollen skin. "Those Braxton Hicks again?" he asked softly. Alastor nodded, wincing again as another contraction hit him. "Yeah," he gritted out. "They're getting stronger." He closed his eyes, trying to focus on Vox's hand rubbing soothing circles on his belly.
Alastor suddenly gasped, his body tensing as the intense pain hit him. He let out a low moan, gripping Vox's shirt tightly. "Oh, sweet Lucifer," he whimpered, panting through the contraction. "That hurt."Vox's eyes widened in concern as he saw the pain etched on Alastor's face. He gently pulled him closer, cradling him against his chest. "Shh, just breathe," he whispered, his voice gentle. "It'll pass, Al. Just breathe through it."Alastor then said breathing heavily stuttering in pain "I...I need to lay down." Vox nodded, his expression full of concern. He stood up, gently slipping an arm around Alastor's waist to support him. "Okay, let's get you lying down," he said softly. "Can you walk or do you need me to carry you?"
Alastor shook his head, pushing aside his pride as the pain took over. "I-I can't walk. Just...just carry me, please." he said, his voice strained but tinged with vulnerability. Vox lifted the Radio Demon into his arms, carrying him carefully in his strong grasp. Alastor wrapped his arms around Vox's neck, grateful for the support. He leaned his head against Vox's shoulder, his breathing ragged as another contraction hit him, stronger this time. Vox gets up and helps him up and he turns his human head back to the tv head as the hologram of his head went away. Just then, Alastor felt a sudden gush of liquid between his legs, and he groaned in realization. "Oh no," he muttered. "My water just broke."Vox stopped in surprise, looking down at Alastor with wide eyes. "Your water...broke?" he said, his voice tinged with a mix of concern and surprise.Alastor nodded, wincing in discomfort. "Yeah," he said, his voice tight. "And I...I think the contractions are getting stronger."
Vox's heart raced as he took in this new information. This was happening. The baby was coming. He tightened his grip on Alastor, keeping him secure in his arms. "Okay, okay, we got this," he murmured, trying to sound more confident than he felt. "Let's get you somewhere comfortable."
Lucifer was walking down the hallway and he saw the two men Lucifer's curiosity piqued as he saw Vox carrying Alastor down the hallway. He stopped in his tracks, raising an eyebrow. "Well, well, well," he said, his voice dripping with amusement. "What in Hell's name is going on here?"Alastor bristled at the sound of Lucifer's voice, his irritation flaring despite the pain. "None of your damn business," he spat out, his voice strained.Vox shot Lucifer a dark glare before speaking. "Al's in labor," he said gruffly.
"His water broke."Lucifer then said calmly "Ohh labor nice." Lucifer's face paled as the realization hit him and he exclaimed frantically . "OHH Labor? HES IN LABOR?! Wait...you mean the baby's coming?!" he said, his voice rising in pitch. Alastor rolled his eyes, gritting his teeth as a new contraction hit him. "Yeah, genius. That's what happens when your water breaks." he snapped sarcastically.
Lucifer began to pace back and forth, his panic escalating. "Oh no, no, no. This is bad. This is very bad. We're not ready for this." Vox rolled his eyes, his patience wearing thin. "Calm down, Lucifer. We've got this. We just need a place for Al to give birth."Lucifer's head snapped back towards them at the sound of Alastor's cry of pain. He took in the scene in front of him, the Radio Demon in pain and Vox trying (and failing) to remain calm. "Right, right, we need a place," he muttered, his voice slightly crazed. "But where? There's not exactly a 'delivery room' in hell."
Vox shot Lucifer a frustrated glare. "Well, we can't just deliver the baby in the damn hallway!" he snapped. Alastor let out a strangled moan as another contraction hit him, his face creasing in pain. Lucifer's eyes widened, his panic increasing. "Right, right. We need a room, a room. But where...Oh!" He snapped his fingers, a lightbulb going off in his head. "I have an idea!"Lucifer then spoke happily"We can use my room it's big enough."Vox raised an eyebrow, his skepticism evident. "Your room? Really? Are you sure that's the best place?"Lucifer nodded emphatically, his excitement overriding his panic. "Yes, yes! Trust me, it'll be perfect. It's big, it's comfortable, and it'll give us plenty of space."Alastor grunted, his face contorted in pain as another contraction hit him. "Can we please just go there already?!" he snapped with a low growl.
Lucifer nodded quickly, his urgency evident. "Right, right. Follow me." He turned on his heel and rushed down the hallway, gesturing for Vox and Alastor to follow. Vox gave Alastor a reassuring squeeze before following Lucifer, practically carrying the Radio Demon. Alastor gritted his teeth as they followed Lucifer down the hallway. The contractions were growing stronger and more frequent, and his entire body was trembling with pain. He tried to focus on breathing through it, but the pain was overwhelming. He clutched onto Vox tightly, his nails digging into the other demon's skin. Lucifer threw open the door to his bedroom and ushered them inside.
The room was indeed spacious, with a huge bed, a small couch, a few end tables, and a few other knick-knacks lying around. "Here we go, here we go," Lucifer muttered, frantically clearing off a nightstand and the edge of the bed. "Put him down here."Vox gently placed Alastor on the bed, careful not to jolt him too much. Alastor collapsed onto the sheets, panting heavily as another contraction hit him. The pain was unbearable now. Alastor's breath came in short gasps, and sweat glistened on his forehead. "Uggghhhh I....I can't do this," he gasped out, his voice filled with pain and uncertainty.Vox leaned over him, his expression worried. "Yes, you can," he said firmly, his hand gripping Alastor's shoulder. "You're strong, Al. You can do this."Lucifer called his daughter Charlie on the phone nervously Charlie was walking down the hallway when she heard her phone ring .
She answered it and said , puzzled. "Yeah, Dad?" she called back, her voice curious. Lucifer put his phone to his ear and said "Charlie, you need to come quick to my bedroom." "It's Alastor, the baby's coming!" he said, a hint of panic in his voice. Charlie's eyes widened in surprise. "The baby? Now?!" she exclaimed, quickly rushing over to her father's bedroom. Lucifer nodded frantically, ushering her inside. "Yes, yes, now," he said, his voice urgent. "Alastor's in a lot of pain. We need your help."Charlie quickly took in the scene in front of her. Alastor was lying on the bed, panting and groaning in pain, his face twisted in agony.
Vox was at his side, holding his hand and trying to comfort him. Charlie's heart lurched at the sight. She had never seen Alastor look so vulnerable, and the sight of him in pain was disconcerting. But she pushed her surprise aside, focusing on the task at hand. "Okay, okay, we need to get some things ready," she said, her voice surprisingly calm.Lucifer nodded eagerly, his panic subsiding a bit at Charlie's composed demeanour. "What do we need? Tell us what to do."
Charlie then said "I'll get vaggie and for now you get the towels and a bowl of water."Lucifer nodded, springing into action. "Right, towels and water, I'll get them." He quickly disappeared out the door, heading to the nearby bathroom to gather the necessary supplies.Vox stayed by Alastor's side, one hand still gripping his hand tightly. He could see the pain etched on the Radio Demon's face, and it made his heart ache. "You're doing great, Al," he murmured softly, trying to comfort him. "Just breathe, okay?"
Alastor then said breathlessly voice strained "I I need these clothes off." Vox nodded, understanding the need for comfort and practicality. "Alright, let's get these clothes off you," he said gently, his hands moving to the buttons on Alastor's shirt. He undid them quickly and carefully, slipping the shirt off the Radio Demon's broad shoulders. Alastor gasped as the cool air hit his bare skin, his body trembling slightly. He felt exposed, vulnerable, but he didn't have the energy to protest.Vox continued to strip off the Radio Demon's clothing, removing his pants and shoes with quick, efficient movements.Alastor was now laid bare, his body covered in a thin sheen of sweat and trembling with contractions. Vox swallowed hard at the sight, his heart pounding. Alastor looked so vulnerable, so exposed...and so beautiful. He quickly pushed aside his racing thoughts, focusing on the task at hand.He gently dabbed at Alastor's forehead with a cool cloth, trying to wipe away the sweat.
Alastor felt the babies moving to where his butt alastor breathing quickened and he felt nauseous as he felt the babies move he gags Alastor felt another wave of pain wash over him, and this time it was accompanied by He let out a low groan, his stomach churning.Vox noticed the change in Alastor's expression and he frowned in concern. "You okay, Al?" he asked gently, his hand rubbing soothing circles on the demon's distended stomach. Alastor shook his head, gritting his teeth as another contraction hit. "No, I...I feel sick," he managed to gasp out, his face turning pale.Vox's eyes widened in alarm. "Sick how? Like you're going to throw up?"
Alastor could only nod weakly, his body trembling with pain and panic and nausea. "Y-yeah," he managed to gasp out, his voice tight.Vox's heart raced as he reached for a nearby emesis basin. "Okay, okay, just try to relax," he said urgently, holding the basin under Alastor's chin. Alastor could only nod weakly, his body trembling with pain and nausea. "Y-yeah," he managed to gasp out, his voice tight.Vox's heart raced as he reached for a nearby emesis basin. "Okay, okay, just try to relax," he said urgently, holding the basin under Alastor's chin. Lucifer, Charlie, and Vaggie burst through the door, their arms full of towels and a bowl of water. They took in the scene in front of them with concern. Alastor was pale and shaking, his face contorted in pain. Vox was holding an emesis basin under the Radio Demon's chin, his expression worried. "Is everything okay?" Charlie asked, her eyes wide.
Vox looked up at her, his eyes filled with worry. "He's nauseous, and his contractions are getting stronger," he said, his voice strained.Lucifer's eyes widened, and he quickly set the supplies he was carrying down on a nearby table. "That means the baby is coming soon."Alastor let out a groan, his body heaving as another wave of nausea hit him. He leaned over the emesis basin, spewing up the contents of his stomach with a pained gasp.Vox continued to hold the basin, his hand gently stroking Alastor's back. "It's okay, Al. Just let it out."Alastor groaned and heaved, his body shaking as he emptied his stomach. He felt weak and shaky, but the nausea was beginning to fade. He leaned back against the pillows, panting and exhausted.Charlie and Vaggie exchanged worried glances, their concern evident. "Is he going to be okay?" Charlie asked, her voice soft.Vox nodded reassuringly. "Yeah, he's just going through a rough patch. The pain and nausea will pass."
Lucifer nodded in agreement. "Just hang in there, Al," he said, his voice filled with concern. "You're doing great."Alastor groaned, his voice hoarse from vomiting. "Great doesn't exactly describe how I feel right now," he muttered weakly. Alastor let out a cry of pain as a huge wave of contractions hit him, his body arching up as he gripped the sheets tightly. The pain was intense, and sweat drenched his face and body.Vox grabbed his hand tightly, trying to offer some comfort. "Breathe, Al. You've got this."Also then said as he felt a bit embarrassed "There they're coming out of my butt." The others in the room couldn't help but exchange a surprised glance at Alastor's words. Charlie's eyes widened in surprise, while Vaggie looked mildly horrified. Even Lucifer seemed thrown off.Vox's grip tightened on Alastor's hand, his expression filled with concern and a hint of surprise. "Wait, what do you mean they're coming out of your butt?"
Alastor groaned, his face twisting with pain and embarrassment. "I mean...I can feel them...coming out of my butt," he gasped out, his voice tight with pain. "That's normal, right?" he added, suddenly uncertain and embarrassed.Vox tried to maintain his composure, though he was fighting back a chuckle. "Uh...yeah, I think it is," he replied, trying to sound reassuring. "It's called the tailbone effect or something like that."Vox then said "maybe it's because he's a male my drugs changed a lot of things in his body." Lucifer's eyes widened in realization. It made sense. Alastor was male, and the birth canal was normally much smaller in males. "You know what? You might be right," he said, his voice filled with a newfound understanding. "It could be because he's male."Charlie and Vaggie exchanged a look, their curiousity piqued. "Wait, so does that mean..." Charlie started, her voice hesitant.
Vox nodded, his grip on Alastor's hand still tight. "Yeah, it could be that his anatomy is causing some extra...uh...discomfort," he said, choosing his words carefully.Lucifer seemed to understand, a look of realisation crossing his face. "Right, right. The male reproductive system isn't built to give birth the same way a woman's is. So that's why he's feeling it in his...um...""Butt?" Vaggie supplied bluntly, unable to help herself.Vox tried to hold back a snort of laughter at Vaggie's bluntness, his own expression filled with amusement.Alastor, on the other hand, groaned in mortification, his face turning red with embarrassment. "Thanks for stating the obvious," he muttered weakly.
Lucifer let out a gruff laugh, unable to keep a straight face. The situation was both serious and oddly comical. "Well, we can't exactly sugarcoat it, can we?" he said, his voice full of amusement.Vox couldn't help himself any longer. He let out a chuckle, his face breaking into a grin. "Yeah, I think the 'butt' was implied there."Alastor let out a low groan, his body tensing up as he felt the urge to push. His face was pale, sweat glistening on his forehead as he gritted his teeth in pain.Vox noticed the change in Alastor's body language, and his grip tightened on the Radio Demon's hand. "Hey, Al? You feeling the need to push?"Alastor nodded weakly, his body quivering with pain. "Y-yeah," he gasped out, his voice tight with discomfort. "I can feel it...the need to push."Vox exchanged a worried glance with Lucifer and the girls. This was getting serious.
Alastor nodded weakly, his body quivering with pain. "Y-yeah," he gasped out, his voice tight with discomfort. "I can feel it...the need to push."Vox exchanged a worried glance with Lucifer and the girls. This was getting serious. Vaggie then said in a commanding tone "Alright everyone but me and Vox go we got things here!" Charlie and Lucifer nodded, understanding that Vaggie and Vox were best equipped to handle the situation. Lucifer gave a reassuring smile, his voice firm. "Alright. We'll give you some space. Come get us if you need anything."With that, Charlie and Lucifer quickly left the room, the door closing behind them.Vox turned his full attention back to Alastor, his expression serious. "You ready for this, Al?"
Alastor shook his head breathing heavily Vox's heart sank as he saw the fear in Alastor's eyes. He gripped the Radio Demon's hand tightly, trying to offer some comfort. "Hey, it's going to be okay," he said softly. "You're strong. You can do this."Alastor shook his head, his face filled with pain and fear. "I...I can't," he gasped out, his voice tight. "It's too much, Vox. It's too much pain. I can't do it."Vox's heart ached as he watched Alastor struggle. He knew the pain was intense, but he couldn't let Alastor give up now. "Al, look at me," he said, his voice firm. "You CAN do this. You're stronger than you think."Alastor looked up at Vox, his eyes glistening with tears. He was tired and in pain, but he could see the determination in Vox's expression. He took a shaky breath, trying to gather his strength. Vox then said hand on his cheek "You are the damn radio demon."
Alastor's heart leapt at the words, his eyes locking onto Vox. He let out a shaky breath, the doubt in his eyes giving way to determination. Vox was right. He WAS the Radio Demon. He was the most powerful demon in Hell. And he was going to give birth to this damn baby with dignity. Alastor let out a low growl, his resolve strengthening. "You're damn right I am," he muttered, his voice still tight with pain but strong with determination. "And I'm going to do this."Vox smiled at the change in Alastor's demeanor. "That's the spirit," he said, his grip on the demon's hand tightening. "You've got this, Al. Just push when you feel like you need to."
Vaggie grabbed some gloves ready to guide the babies and Alastor then said "What if I make a mess?"Vaggie gave him a reassuring smile, her hands already gloved. "Don't worry about that," she said firmly. "We're prepared for any mess. Your focus just needs to be on pushing and breathing."Vox nodded in agreement, still holding Alastor's hand tightly. "Vaggie's right. Don't worry about anything other than getting that baby out."Alastor's face contorted in pain as he strained to push, his body trembling with the effort. Beads of sweat dripped down his face, and his knuckles turned white as he gripped the bed sheets tightly.Vox and Vaggie watched him closely, their eyes focused and their expressions serious. "That's it, Al," Vox said, his voice firm. "Keep pushing. You're doing great."
Alastor let out a guttural cry as he pushed, his body arching off the bed in pain. "AHHH! UGHHH God, it hurts! It hurts so damn much!"Vox and Vaggie exchanged worried glances, their own expressions etched with concern. "I know, Al," Vox said, his grip on the demon's hand tightening. "But you're doing so well. Keep pushing. The baby's almost here."Alastor gritted his teeth, his body trembling with exertion as he pushed harder. "Aaahhhh! It hurts, it hurts! I can't, I can't...!"Vox and Vaggie could see the desperation in Alastor's eyes, and they knew they had to keep him focused. "You can do this, Al," Vox said firmly. "Just a few more good pushes and the baby will be out. Push with everything you've got."Alastor let out a guttural cry, his entire body straining with the effort. "Ahhhhh! I'm trying, I'm trying!"Vox gripped the Radio Demon's hand tighter, his own face etched with concern. "I know you are, Al," he said, his voice firm. "Just keep going. You're almost there. One more big push and the baby will be here. Give it everything you've got."
Alastor gasped in relief as the first baby emerged, the sound of the infant's cry filling the room. He relaxed slightly, his body slumping back against the pillows, panting heavily.Vox's eyes widened in surprise and awe, and a smile spread across his face. "You did it, Al," he said, his voice filled with pride. "You did it. You're amazing."Vaggie was also smiling, her own expression filled with relief and awe. "That's the first one," she said firmly. "You did a great job. One more to go."Alastor let out a weary laugh, his voice raspy with exhaustion. "One more...oh God, I don't know if I can do this again," he said, his body trembling with fatigue.Vox squeezed his hand gently, his expression filled with reassurance. "You can do it, Al. You're almost there. Just one more push. You've got this."Vaggie nodded in agreement, her eyes watchful and her voice firm. "You're so close. Just one more big push and the other baby will be out. You can do it."
Alastor took a deep breath, summoning the last of his strength. He gritted his teeth and pushed with all of his might, his body arching off the bed once more. "Aaaahhhh! Fuuuuck! I can't...I can't..."Vox and Vaggie exchanged a worried glance, but neither of them let any doubt creep into their expressions. "You can do this, Al. You're so damn close. Just one more push. Give everything you have."Alastor felt the tears in his eyes and he said breathing heavily "I can't I really can't..."Vox's expression tightened, his concern growing. He could see the pain and doubt etched on the Radio Demon's face, and he knew they had to get him to push again. "Al," he said firmly, his grip on the demon's hand tightening. "You have to push. You're so close. Just one more push and it'll be over. You can do it. You're the strongest damn demon Hell has ever seen."Alastor closed his eyes, a single tear streaming down his cheek. "I...I don't know if I can," he whispered, his voice weakening.Vox's heart clenched at the sight of the tear on Alastor's cheek, and he felt a sudden spike of worry in his chest. He squeezed the demon's hand tightly, trying to give him whatever strength he could. "Al, listen to me. You can do this. You're the most stubborn son of a gun I know. You're not a quitter. You don't give up. You're not gonna give up now. Just one more push."
Alastor looked up at Vox, his tired eyes filled with pain and uncertainty. He could see the determination and hope in the other demon's face, and it stoked a small flame of determination within him. He took a deep shaky breath, his body trembling with weakness. "Okay," he whispered, his voice barely audible. "One more push."Vox and Vaggie exchanged a glance, hope sparking in both of their eyes as they heard Alastor's determination. "That's it, Al," Vox said firmly. "Just one more good push. You're so close. You can do this."Alastor let out one last guttural cry as he pushed with all of his remaining strength. His body trembled with pain and exertion, and he gripped Vox's hand tightly. A flood of fluids came gushing out, but everyone in the room was focused on one thing: getting the baby out.Vox and Vaggie both leaned forward, their eyes focused and their expressions filled with tension and anticipation.
"Keep pushing, Al," Vox said firmly. "You're doing amazing. Just a little more."Alastor was exhausted, his body trembling and his breath coming in ragged gasps. But he could feel the baby moving closer, and he knew he had to keep pushing. He grit his teeth, summoning up every last drop of strength he had left. "Aagh...ahhh....aahhhh....ahhh...."Vox and Vaggie exchanged a look, their eyes filled with anticipation. "That's it, Al," Vaggie urged. "Keep pushing. You're almost there. Just one more big push."
Alastor collapsed back against the pillows, his body trembling with exhaustion. Vox and Vaggie both breathed sighs of relief as the last baby was out. "You did it, Al," Vox said softly, his grip on the demon's hand loosening as he leaned back. "You did amazing."Vaggie nodded in agreement, her expression filled with relief and admiration. "You were so strong, Al. You should be proud of yourself."Alastor took a deep, shaky breath, his eyes welling up with tears of emotion. "I...I did it," he said softly, his voice filled with a mix of exhaustion and joy. "I really did it."Vox reached out and gently wiped away a tear that had escaped down the demon's cheek. "Yes, you did," he said firmly. "You were so strong, Al. You were amazing."Vaggie nodded in agreement, her own expression filled with a mix of relief and admiration. "You made it through," she said softly. "You're going to be an amazing parent."
Alastor then punched Vox shoulder and said "that's for making a drugs to change my body for revenge."Vox let out a grunt of pain as Alastor punched him in the shoulder, his expression filled with a mix of surprise and annoyance. "Ow! What the hell was that for?" he said, rubbing his offended shoulder.Alastor glared at him, his expression filled with frustration. "You know damn well what that was for," he said, his voice sharp. "You drugged me and messed with my body. You turned me into a...into a..."Vox winced at the reminder, his own expression turning sheepish. "Hey, come on now," he protested, his voice taking on a defensive tone. "I didn't do it just to mess with you. I did it because you're stubborn as all hell and I knew you'd never agree to it otherwise."Alastor's expression darkened, his anger and frustration returning. "That doesn't make it okay," he snapped. "You tampered with my body without my consent. That's a violation."Vox then said with a smug expression on his face "You know you like me."
Alastor's face reddened slightly at the words, and he averted his gaze, trying to maintain a veneer of annoyance. "That's...that's not the point," he muttered, his voice petulant.Vox chuckled, a sly smile spreading across his face. "You can deny it all you want, Al, but I know you like me. You like the way I take charge and push your buttons. You like the way I challenge you. You like it when I get under your skin."Alastor grumbled, his face still red with embarrassment. "I...I do no such thing," he muttered, his words lacking conviction.Vox's smile widened, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, please. We both know you love this. You love the way we banter and bicker. You love our little power games. You love pushing and being pushed."Alastor scowled at him, his expression still flustered. "Shut up," he muttered, his voice softening just a little.

Vox then said nervously as he shifted his foot and coughed to clear his throat “SOO that kiss in the hallway was that just a one time thing or?” Alastor felt his face heat up even more at the reminder of the kiss in the hallway. He tried to maintain his annoyed expression, but he could feel his resolve crumbling. "That was...that was a one-time thing," he muttered, his voice sounding unconvincing even to his own ears.Vox smirked, leaning in closer. "Are you sure about that, Al? Because it seemed like you enjoyed it. I certainly did."Alastor rolled his eyes and says with playful irritation “Just hand me my baby you jerk.” Vox chuckles saying as he raises his hands in self defense going over to the cribs where the twins were laying in “Alright alright.” Vox chuckled, his expression filled with amusement. "So demanding," he said, a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. He reached down and picked up one of the babies, gently placing it in Alastor's waiting arms. "Here you go, you stubborn ass," he said, his voice teasing.Alastor huffed, cradling the baby in his arms. "Shut up, jackass," he muttered, his voice soft and tender.
Alastor looked down at the tiny bundle in his arms, suddenly feeling a wave of nervousness wash over him. He had never held a baby before in his life. The realization hit him like a punch to the gut. What if he messed up? What if he dropped the little thing? What if he accidentally hurt it somehow? These thoughts swirled in his head, and he could feel his anxiety rise. He tried to keep a calm expression, but his eyes betrayed his nerves.
Vox notices his expression and says as he walks over to him gently “Are you okay?” Alastor looks at him with uncertainty and nervously and says “I…I feel like I’m doing this wrong I’m I holding the baby right what if I mess up?” Vox stops him from spiraling and says as he holds his hand “Breathe Al relax and cradle the baby’s head.” Alastor took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing thoughts. "Alright, yeah, alright," he muttered, his voice still a bit shaky. He gently adjusted his grip on the baby, making sure to support its head like Vox had said. "Like this?"Vox watched as he adjusted his grip, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Yeah, that's it, Al," he said, a hint of affection in his voice. "You're doing great."
Alastor felt his heart skip a beat at the praise, and he couldn't help but feel a tiny bit proud of himself. He looked down at the baby in his arms, and saw its little eyes looking up at him.The baby let out a soft gurgle, and Alastor found himself smiling involuntarily. The nervousness he felt earlier seemed to melt away, replaced by a new sensation. He felt...protective.Then he says with protection and firmness “I’ll always protect you.”
The realization hit Alastor like a ton of bricks. In all the commotion, he had completely forgotten about naming the babies. He was so caught up in giving birth and fighting with Vox that he hadn't spared a thought for something as important as naming them.Vox noticed the panicked look on Alastor's face and raised an eyebrow. "Hey, what's wrong? You look like you just remembered something really important."Alastor looked up at him, his expression filled with horror. "I...I forgot to name the babies," he blurted out, his voice filled with panic.
Vox's eyebrows raised in surprise, his expression filled with mild amusement. "You forgot to name them?" he repeated, his voice tinged with disbelief. "How the hell do you forget to name your own kids?"Alastor looked up at him, his face reddening with embarrassment. "I...I don't know. I was so wrapped up in giving birth and arguing with you that I just...forgot."Vox snickered softly, his expression filled with humor. "You are a disaster, you know that right?" Alastor then said thoughtfully “You know I’ve always wanted a Girl named Ivanna but since there’s two of them they should match I have a boy and a girl right?” Vox nodded and said “yes opposite genders.” Alastor then said with a confident expression on his face as he ran a hand through Ivanna hair on her head “how about Ivanna for the girl and Ivan for her brother?”
Vox thought about the names for a moment, his expression turning thoughtful. "Ivanna and Ivan," he repeated, testing the names on his tongue. "Yeah, I like the sound of those."He looked at Alastor with a smile. "They're good names, Al. I like them."Alastor breathed a sigh of relief, his expression still a bit embarrassed. "You really think so? I was worried they sounded too...similar."
Vox shrugged, his expression nonchalant. "Eh, I think it's kinda fitting. They are twins, after all. It's cute."Alastor couldn't help but smile at that, his embarrassment fading away. "Yeah, I guess you're right," he said, his voice a bit sheepish. "I like it."He looked down at the babies in his arms, his expression softening. "Ivanna and Ivan," he repeated softly. "My little Ivanna and Ivan."
