The soft hum of Fairytale of New York is heard under Octavius’ breath, accompanied by Jed’s hearty rendition of the song.
‘I knew ya liked Christmas songs.’
‘What?’
The humming stopped almost instantly.
‘You were just hummin’.’
‘That doesn’t mean I liked it’
Jed’s face tilts as his infectious smile envelops his features.
‘You wanna kiss me so bad.’
Octavius’ face reddens with a begrudging smile, as Jed keeps making mock kissing noises at Oct.
‘I hate you, Cowboy.’
He states as he pulls Jed’s bandana and shuts him up with a kiss.
‘Merry Christmas.’
