Chapter Text

Dust kicked up as a convoy of vehicles tore across the desert terrain, racing against time-time they didn't have. As they reach the horizon line, a gigantic dark purple tower was closely coming into view.

"There it is, Prime!" yelled a country voice from the red Nissan Vanette.

At the front, a blue and red semi-truck led the charge, maintaining a steady pace to ensure his team could keep up. He acknowledged his bodyguard's call. "Autobots, full throttle!"

His command gave the bots motivation to press on forward, picking up on speed.

────── 〔✿〕──────

At the entrance gate of the tower stood a tall sliver robot, taller than a two-floor building. They had a wide chest area which sported a purple insignia and a bold black cannon on their right arm.

"Lord Megatron, the Autobots are closing in." Reported a navy blue robot as he held a robotic bird that was perching on their left arm.

"Just in time." The tyrant grins maliciously as he comms his lead scientist. "Prepare the spacetime machine, Shockwave."

The mad scientist followed his leader's words, pressing key codes to activate the machine. The machine emitted a low, pulsing hum that reverberated through the ground-stones quivered beneath its rising power.

"Megatron!"

The tyrant spun his helm to the direction of the voice. From the height were he stand, Megatron saw the Autobot leader shifted from alt mode to robot mode. His warriors doing the same action.

"Optimus," The warlord taunt his name. "How nice of you to join us, and you brought your fellow Autobots with you."

"What you're doing is a grave mistake!" The Prime angrily announced. Optimus reached for his Ion blaster.

The other Autobots had their weapons ready.

Megatron continue taunting, "You're too late Prime, this planet is done for!"

"NO!"

Optimus and his fellow warriors raised their weapons at the machine, rapidly shooting at it in hopes it could fall apart or break at least. However their shots where futile due to how sturdy the Constructicons builded it.

"What now?" A pink Autobot spoke.

"Optimus what do we do?" One of the twins asked.

"It can't end like this!" A yellow Autobot declared.

"We need to leave!" Prime's tactician warned.

The time-space machine rumble with beaming energy. No... he can't let Megatron win. Earth had become the Autobots new home after endless war on Cybertron which lead abandoning their home. Now Earth was at risk this very moment.

"Optimus!"

Hearing his name jolted the leader out of his ongoing thoughts. Optimus took a quick glance at the human: Spike Witwicky, one of the few humans that's close and family to the Autobots. The man stayed close to Bumblebee.

Optimus attention went back to the machine, helplessly watch it beamed white light into the sky.

Out of nowhere, the it begins to violently shake.

Megatron instantly noticed the anomaly. /Shockwave report! The machine what is wrong with it?!/

/Something seems to be interfering with it, sir! I suggest you leave this instant!/

He hated when his plans didn't go his way. All schematics suggested the the time-space machine was fine yet now of all times, it decided to malfunction. Megatron faced towards Optimus - optics locked in.

The once white beam become tainted with a dark purple and blue hue. Tearing a crack in the fabric of space. Iridescent colours circle the crack before expanding and engulfing the entire globe in a dome.

Ironhide muttered, 'Wha' in 'e Allspark...?" as he and different members of both Autobots and Decepticons' frames started to glow in a luminescent hue.

Other voices spoke on top each other as they began to fade out of existence.

Whatever was happening became too much to bare for the other members and before anyone could process what was going on, most of the Autobots and Decepticon forces vanished without a trace.

Once the dome vanished, confusion spread. Where had their comrades gone?

Spike Witwicky carefully unveiled his eyes with his arm only to spot a strange multicolored portal closing by the time-space machine. What in the world just happened?

────── 〔✿〕──────

"Man, those Neo-plasma grunts are so annoying." A girl with olive skin said, annoyed.

She was by an idle in the pharmacy going through different bottles of medicine that could help with poison. The teen picked up an orange bottle of pills-specifically designed to counteract poison-type pokemon. 'This should be good,' she thought to herself, only problem was it's only made for low doses. Although the trainer could've gone to the hospital, it was way too expensive in Unova compare to Galar just for a simple check-up.

Humming to herself, she looks down at her Vaporeon, signalling to follow her to the cashier. The person by the register grabs the items she placed down, while doing so, the girl overheard two trainers talking one anther.

"Did you hear about Mistralton cave? There's this rumour about a legendary pokemon living there."

"Really?"

"Yeah, but nobody has found it yet."

"It's probably false then, that cave has been forgotten for decades - no one goes there."

"Here you go, miss." The teen spun her head around when she heard the cashier. She took the plastic bag from them with a bright smile.
"Thank you."

Curiosity perked her interest as she turned her heel in the direction of the two trainers. Her Vaporeon following not far behind.

"Excuse me," gaining the two trainers attention. "I didn't mean to eavedrop but you said something about a legendary pokemon?"

"Oh yes, by Mistralton cave." One of them said.

"How do I get there?"

"You can get there by Clay Tunnel but that's off limits."

"But there's a cave entrance northeast end of Route 6." The other trainer replied.

"Thank you so much!" The girl said before storming out with her pokemon.

"You think she'll find it?"

"Probably not."

────── 〔✿〕──────

"They didn't say anything about surfing!" The teen groans out loud in early defeat. Her Vaporeon looks just as defeated as her. She hangs her head over the bridge, watching the stream.

"Swimming won't do any good either..." The trainer was about to leave until she spotted a man coming from Route 6. "Excuse me, sir!"

The man looked no older than his early twenties, yet something about him made Daisy feel he was much older.

"Do you perhaps have a water-type pokemon big enough to surf on?"

The man tilt his head wondering what she was up too before realizing what she wanted. "Of course. Samurott come on out!" A white light flashed out of the pokeball was a blue seal-like Pokemon.

"By the way, what's your name?"

"Daisy, and you?

"Hilbert."

────── 〔✿〕──────

The ride to the cave entrance wasn't long as it was only so far down stream that the man named Hilbert could still see them. Daisy and her Pokemon waved Samurott a thank you before making their way into the cave.

The first thing the trainer did was getting out a flashlight from her backpack, a small one that had a string attached to the bottom of it. "Ready, Eliza?"

The bubble jet pokemon meowed in response.

The deeper they went into the cave, the darker it became. Daisy mentally cursed herself; the poison was taken effect on her body which maybe her anxiety peaked through the roof. So for safety measure, she went into bag once again to take out a Pokeball.

A blue bipedal canine bursted out from the spherical device. It turned in it's trainers direction.

"Rio, mind accompanying me?" Daisy asked sheepishly.

The Aura pokemon sigh, he knew his human too well to be doing something foolish like this; nonetheless, he walked by her side.

Although it seemed as they were going nowhere, Daisy had an idea where she was going. In this world, there's a 20 percent chance of a human having special abilities. It might not been psychic but she was one of these people who can sense Aura. Though it might sound impressive, Daisy was by no means an Aura Guardian - that was a rare title on its own to which she had no intention becoming.

Daisy checked her phone, it was still noon yet the cave made it seems like it was night outside. There were several wild pokemon she recognize but no sight of any legendary pokemon.

She sighs, maybe the rumor was false after all. It was fun while it lasted but she needed to get back to her little brother before she end up collapsing from the poison. Lucario and Vaporeon quickly notice their trainer's energy slowly depleting.

Noticing their human health was one thing but the next second the whole cave start shaking. Daisy feared for her Pokemon's safety by immediately grabbing Eliza off the ground and keeping Rio close even though her companions were capable of depending themselves. Abruptly as it started shaking, it ended all the same.

"The heck was that?" Asking no one particular. Daisy brushed off the dust from her pink plaid skirt whilst thinking some giant pokemon might have cause the tremor.

Eliza barked when she felt a gust of wind, not from the way they came from but deeper inside the cave. And Rio - the teen didn't need a reaction from her companion, she could already tell just by bonding with his aura, there were unfamiliar guests.

They venture deeper.

Every inch of her body was screaming to turned back, the hair on the back of her neck stood on end, and her anxiety kept spiking up. It wasn't long for them to run into something... Metal?

The human wave the flashlight around, trying to measure the strange metal, rusting away by the cave's environment.

"Weird..." She breathed. However weird was an understatement when she panned the light to what looks like a massive entrance. Now that was something you don't see everyday or at least on a regular adventure. Her free hand grabbed her hoodie as though she was trying to calm her already rapid heart beat.

Daisy carefully took a deep breath not wanting to inhale dust and forced her weak body to move.

The trainer and her team effortlessly explored the uncharted area. Just by planning the light they already spotted a few electric type pokemon, feeding off the... The...

Daisy took a hard pause, what were they feeding off? Nothing scream electrical about the place, not until she panned her flashlight to a giant computer.

She froze.

It wasn't the typical giant computer humans had - oh no, this- this was something different, way different, something alien. It was like you needed to be ten feet tall just to operate the thing. No, she didn't like this, they needed to get out of here!

Daisy took a stepped back, doing her best to compose herself. Its the poison, it's definitely the poison making her jitter.

Their head spun in the opposite direction, away from the computer. Clunks of metal echoed the halls. She needs to get out of here but her pride and curiosity prevented her from doing so.

────── 〔✿〕──────

Optimus's helm spun in circles. The Prime clutched his helm, as if bracing against the dizziness. But once his processor was done running in motion, he quickly gathered his thoughts. What on Earth did Megatron do?

"Is everyone alright?!" A familiar voice echo the room.

Through the haze of floating dust particles, the Autobot leader watched his tactician-SIC: Prowl congregate the warriors. It was a miracle that no one was badly damaged from the ordeal.

"Optimus, do you read me?" Prowl quired as he approach the leader.

"I'm here, Prowl."

The rest of the Autobots approach their leader.

"How are we back in the Ark, weren't we in the desert a while ago?" Bumblebee asked.

At the back of the crowd, Sunstreaker did his best to remove sand from paint that was brought with him from the desert. "I don't remember the Ark being this- abandon."

"What is Grimlock doing here with puny Autobots?" Said a new voice, heavy and deep.

All heads faced towards the Dinobot. "Grimlock?!" They all said in bewilderment.

A few of the warriors swarmed the Dinobot leader, asking an array of questions as to what happened to him while most of the officers stayed by Optimus side.

"Any clues? I don't remember much other then dome," Jazz commented.

The other officers shook their heads.

"Nothing that indicates an acute malfunction," Perceptor stated.

"What of Earth? We all saw how the dome engulfed the planet." Ratchet asked, not wanting to believe the worst.

Optimus shook his helm, "We don't have the communication or resources to look for any survivors. It is best we locate a local and asked about any whereabouts."

That being said, as the leaders where about to leave the room, Acree was the first to draw everyone's attention. "Guys, we got company."

Everyone stood still.

On cue, the officers approached the pink Cybertronian, poking around the corner only to be blindsided by a flashlight.

"Guess we found a local," Jazz humored.

Optimus saw the poor thing frozen in fear but he didn't recognize the creatures that stood before her. He lowered his body to prevent himself from intimidating the human.

"May I ask what your name is?" Soft and gentle, enough to make children less afraid of him; however, the teenager in front of him did not budged.

"Per'aps it's one o' the few tha' are afraid o' Cybertronians?" Ironhide questioned.

The human may not have moved but the creatures in front of her sure did, looking ready to attack them at any giving moment.

On the flip side of the things, Daisy couldn't believe what she was seeing. The robots, they had auras! Each and every last one of them. Rio could sense it too, no doubt about it. But why, if they were just machines why did they show what living creatures have - it didn't make sense! And yet, here she was facing the nonsensical.

Her body couldn't move not matter how much she mentally forced herself. It got to the point that the only thing protecting her from the robots were her pokemon.

The tallest of the robots bend down, kneeling on one "knee" and asking her name. In any "normal" situation this wouldn't have shock her to her core. Galar had dynamax and gigantamax for crying out which are ten times bigger than these robots.

Daisy heeded their auras. Yes, they were friendly - some more than others. Judging by their aura emotions, she could tell they are being patient with her and her team.

"We mean you no harm." The tallest one spoke again.

She knows, and knowing that it means it. When she tried to open her mouth to respond, no words came out.

"They're stress levels are too high." The white and red one said.

Dang it all! If only she wasn't sick right now she wouldn't be in such distress.

"Maybe I can try? I'm kinda good with the younger generation. I may not be Bee but I got some sick beats." Jazz proclaimed.

"We don't want the creatures to retaliate in the possibility of them harming her!" Ratchet huffed.

Rio could feel his trainer energy from behind. They needed to get out of here but she is no condition to break a run for it. Maybe Daisy riding on Princess could be their chance of escaping - why aren't the robots doing anything?

The robots weren't going to harm her anytime soon, might as while take the risk trusting their energy.

"Who are you?" Her tone low but enough for them to hear.

A part of the Autobots internally beamed and at the same time saddened by her response.

"You don't know what we are?" A new voice spoke. Red like the other country accent robot but sound way younger, standing next to a yellow robot.

At the same time, they were stun how she asked who were they and not what are they.

"My name is Optimus Prime, little one."

The teenager felt all fear left her body as she collapsed on her knees. It was like she can breathe again but at the same, a wave of nausea coated her senses. She did the right thing.

Rio and Eliza quickly responded to their trainer. Eliza meowed and barked that she stayed awake, even rubbing her head against her thighs. Rio stood statute, doing whatever he can to keep the distance between the robots and his companions.

Some of the Autobots flinched at her sudden dropped.

"Ya already, girlie?" Jazz asked, shifting from his humorous self.

"You're alive... You're not from here...are you?"

Once again her question weighted heavily.

Optimus spoke, "We are not. We're from another planet known as Cybertron. And, we didn't know what's happening on Earth at the moment."

She sat back on her knees, clutching her backpack's strap with one hand and Eliza with the other. She steady her breathing but it was still rugged. Earth? Nothing happened to it as far as she knows. Yeah, there's some political drama happening world wide in other regions but other than that, that hasn't been any major incident.

"Earth is fine as far as I know. I don't know if that sounds helpful... Um, do you know where you are?" She asked dryly.

No, they didn't. Being in the Ark didn't help the 'bots understanding either.

"Those creatures, I never seen them before. What are they?"

That simple question eased the girl's nervous system. Pokemon was something that was so common and world wide. Daisy eagerly explained what her pokemon are: ranging from the sky, ocean and forest; to the vast deserts and city. To their typings and abilities; simple understanding of move sets. Finally, the bonds between a trainer and pokemon.

The Autobots' listen profoundly, and the more they heard, the more they realize this wasn't their Earth anymore.

After Daisy finished explaining, she tried to stand up but was hit with a heavy wave of nausea. Eliza barked, Rio catches her mid fall. Her knees buckled, the world spun and burst into stars.

They all watched the human helpless. Ratchet tried to reach but her pokemon growl when he got too close.

"Scrap," The CMO hissed. "I can't get close without being at risk getting attack."

Jazz took the initiative to get closer. Slowly, making sure what his intentions are. "Please, we can to save her. Ratchet is a good medic."

Eliza knows, she looked at her friend telling him that it was going to be okay; after all, Eliza has been by Daisy's side since they were both young.

Rio growled. He darn well knows Eliza was telling the truth, he can read the Autobots aura better than anyone yet here he was, rejecting their help. His inner instincts wanted the robots nowhere close to her.

"Vaa' poor!"

Jazz watched to two pokemon bicker with each other until what seems the aquatic creature won the argument. Jazz got closer to the point the pokemon allowed him to pick up their trainer in his servos. The saboteur stepped away from the pokemon and carefully brought Daisy to him

Ratchet touch some buttons on his forearm before scanning the teenager.

He frowned. "She's needs medicine. High level of poison have been detected in her system."

There were gasp mixed with "How?" And "Why?"

"Will she be alright?" Optimus asked worried.

The medic pinched his the bridge of his nose. "She'll survive. It already looked like she took medicine before coming here, however, it's not strong enough."

Jazz carefully had her sit up, she was still awake after all.

"Town..." She murmured.

They all faced her.

Daisy couldn't seemed to care that a bunch of giant alien robots were all staring at her. "Rio..."

The Aura pokemon barked in response.

"Go get Jon, tell Elfen to get a remedy."

The Autobots watched a novelty taken placed between a human and a pokemon. The Aura pokemon spoke a few "words" to the aquatic creature before running off.

"Someone go after it!" Prowl command, "We don't know who this 'Jon' or 'Elfen' person is!"

"On it!" Shouted two warriors. Bumblebee and Sideswiped dashing behind Lucario.

As The Journey Continues...
