Nobody's point of view
Yennifer of Vangerburge, a magical being with purple eyes that blazed with barely controlled power was a lot of things. A mage, part elf, a friend, an outsider, a protector, and fiercely protective. But the thing she was most was alone.
And here she was standing over Tissaia’s dead body after she committed suicide and she felt nothing but empty. Now Yennefer wasn't sure how but she knew that something was wrong. Her sisters disowned her and blamed her for Tissaia’s death. Yes Tissaia was being buried and she could see her being lowered but she was sure that somehow Tissaia was somehow alive but she couldn't stop the burial proceedings in case she was wrong so she vowed to come back later that day and see if she was still there.
So after the Funeral had commenced she snuck back to the sacred burial ground of esteemed sorceress’ and touched the mud above where Tissaia had been buried and used her magic to see if Tissaia was down there.
Just as she had expected there was no body, no magic, and no trace of where she was but she definitely was not dead or buried. She had escaped and Yennefer could not understand why Tissaia would leave her.
She could feel rage building in her chest at the betrayal. They had been dating for five years and Yennefer had talked about returning to Alturzo and agreeing to obey the laws willingly for Tissaia but it seemed like Tissaia didn't want her and Yennerfer had just once again been hurt by the woman she loves.
She felt angry at the world, angry at the time lost on Tissaia, angry at herself for once again trusting the woman who broke her more than once. But worse she still loved her and wanted Tissaia to appear and apologize for scaring her and take Yennefer with her but that moment never came and she was alone.
She went to find Garret but he attacked with violence both physical and verbal saying he did not want a murderer near his daughter. He looked at Yennefer with so much hatred it made Yennefer flinch and recoil she thought they were friends, that when it came down to it he would believe her seeing as they had faced war together and raised his daughter between them but no. he saw her as everyone else did, a monster.
Years passed, then centuries, of her never stopping in one place for long before she would move once more. She kept under the radar of other mages and vampires making sure she was never detected. She also knew that when she encountered a vampire to make sure she said nothing to indicate vampires as they would try to take her to a place called Volterra and present me to three women who called themselves queens.
She had heard their names were Athenodora who was known as the war queen, then there was Sulpicia who was the high queen and had final say, then lastly was Didyme, the queen of knowledge and wisdom. She wasn't afraid of them knowing that she knew what they were, what worried her was the constant questions and power plays these queens might try to play like the high council did back in Aretuza.
She was tired of answering to others and being used as a weapon. All she wanted was to be treated normally for once and have a family one that would never betray her or leave her behind. And people who would listen when she spoke without jumping to conclusions based on opinion and not fact.
She landed in a small town called Forks next hoping to not have to stay too long and changed her name to Isabelle seeing as Yennefer wasn't a well known name anymore and enchanted the town to think she had always been here and that the police captain a man called Charlie was her dad and she was coming to live with him because her mother a drunk (which Yennefer thought fit) was jetting off with her new boyfriend. Now the town thought she was a 20 year old not someone who had lived for centuries. She also changed her features to make her look younger and tried to cover her accent which she did as best as she could.
And she quickly settled into the town and got a job at a local book store. The owner was a sweet older woman who took a liking to (the now) Bella immediately and paid well so Yennefer was not complaining.
All was fine until vampires made their unwanted presents known in the form of the Cullen family. Their son Edward tried to make me date him and he was 18. she said no but agreed to come over for dinner seeing as his dad worked with mine and Casile wanted to meet me. She knew had to tell Carlisle about Edward stalking her and if it didn't stop I would call the police.
He said it would but not even a week later she was dragged into the woods and told by him that they were vampires which she knew was against the laws and it just showed how stupid this boy was.
Yennefer played along and acted dumb before going home afterwards to Charlie and made him dinner as she did most nights as he had no idea how to cook and through the centuries Yennifer had learned how to make thousands of meals.
She started to date Rosalie until my supposed birthday where they threw me a party and I ended up getting a papercut and she and her family left after taking me out into the forest and told me that she was just something to entertain them and that Yennefer was nothing but a toy and a pet.
I was furious. I didn't think i just acted and my palm made contact with the side of her face before she fell to the floor in a shocked state and gasped when my true form emerged due to my anger and i told her to leave and never come back as if she did or she told anyone about what she saw i would her kill her and everyone she loves before using a spell to block my true form from Edward’s gift of mind reading. She found his power invasive and was mad when he used it inappropriately on his family and strangers.
Yennefer knew she was his singer and that he was entranced by the blood that runs through her veins but what he doesn't know is that Yennifer can easily kill him without breaking a sweat or pulling a muscle. He was always talking about how fragile humans are like they were beneath him, which is sad really that he truly thinks he is better than humans when he is literally just a dead one himself.
She was certainly someone who was far more powerful than a human, not him. I mean I am part fae and a sorceress so i think we all know how it would be in a show down. Over the years my power has grown and become more and more powerful with each century that passed. One flick of her wrist and he would be defeated.
Also she could not ever imagine a situation where he would have had to wield a sword before either whereas she has trained with masters and Witchers and been in wars. Yennefer has killed monsters and men who thought themselves better. But she has always loved taking men down and putting them back into their place.
She kept on thinking back to the war, her chaos being realized in its full power for the first time, Tissaia stood on the rock and she bended the flames around her saving her from death and then the darkness afterwards. Me coming back and finding her. And then their final kiss before her death.
She was so powerful, protective and smart Yennefer just didn't understand why she left, why anyone leaves. Everyone does and now it is Cullen's turn. She just wishes that she could ask Tissaia what she did to deserve being left behind again.
And now here she is all alone and once again angry at the world and Yennefer decides she is tired of living on the move while always being the one left behind and decides to head to a town called Denali in Alaska where she will make a home and hope for the best because anything is better than the life she is currently living.
So she enchanted the town once more to forget her after picking up her last paycheck and once again moved her life from Forks to Denali in hopes for a better and happier life which is where we will start off, Yennifer unpacking in her new home with her hopes of a fresh start. What will happen? I wonder, well lets find out!.
