Work Text:
It's snowing outside. The fireplace is lit and crackling. There's soft jazz music playing low in the background. Roy's wearing his comfiest sweatpants and the sweater Ed got him for Christmas last year. They're laying on the couch bundled up under their softest blanket. Ed's between Roy's legs and resting back against his chest reading a book and they're sharing a box of strawberry Pocky. Roy's running his fingers through Ed's hair. It's a nearly perfect day.
There's one thing that would put this day over the top. The problem is that Ed is in The Reading Zone and has not come up for air in the last hour. But Roy has just the idea to get what he wants.
Snatching up a new stick of Pocky, Roy pulls out the big guns. He presses a kiss ever-so-lightly on the spot behind Ed's ear that he happens to know is extremely sensitive and ticklish.
Ed tilts his head back to look upside down at Roy. He opens his mouth to say something, but his eyes flicker to the biscuit hanging between Roy's smiling lips and instead he rolls his eyes with a grin and sits up enough to gently grab the back of Roy's neck. Ed immediately bites off three-fourths of the stick so he can meet Roy in a messy, strawberry sweet kiss.
Now it was an absolutely perfect day.
