An Extreme Altruist (Real Life Hero)

Summary:

In this A.U, Robert is a very different version of Mecha Man who, instead of saving people in a giant mech, saves people by cheering up sick kids at the hospital, handing food out to the homeless, doing something similar to bikers against bullies, etc - and the Z-Team ends up finding him and becomes obsessed with how much of an Altruist he is

Chapter 1: Figuring Things Out

This is just a chapter to get the idea out here and get some suggestions, because I don't have the story super nailed down yet 

 

Things That Are For Certain:

 

1.) Robert will have prosthetics because of an accident in his teenage years 

 

2.) Robert will just be doing community service type things

 

3.) Poly Z-Team

 

4.) I've also decided to have Beef be a dog Robert adopted from a shelter who used to be used in dog fights, so he's missing his front legs. Robert picked him during an event he was doing at the shelter because the little guy reminded him of himself 

 

 

Things To Suggest On (you can comment about one or more of these things):

 

1.) Should this be an A.U where superheroes don't exist, or should people with superpowers still be a thing? And, if you think superpowers shouldn't exist, what jobs do you think the Z-Team, Royd, Blazer, etc should have?

 

2.) Do you think Robert should have become this version of himself because the mech suit was destroyed when his father died, or that he decided to become this version of himself because he had an accident? (If you're thinking of this in the framing of a superpowers don't exist A.U, Bobbie had created the suit because he had a lot of money, and Robbie maintained it, so Mecha Man is still a thing, just in a different way)
