Summary
The Z-Team has been sent out on a mission that requires them to stay at a hotel for a night. After the mission goes successfully, they retire to the hotels bar to celebrate and relax. By happenstance, Waterboy meets and befriends an older woman there who gives him inspiring and kind words. The woman, one Doctor Sarala Devi, is already taken with Waterboy and wishes to be alone and intimate with him. But after risking her own safety to stand up for him against his abusive teammates, she’s all the more eager to pamper him with the love and affection he’d clearly been denied throughout his life.

After working at the SDN for months now, everyone on the Z-Team has noticed a slight change within their dispatcher. His voice wasn't as hollow anymore and he seemed to have more life in his eyes. He actually engaged in their silly banter and seemed to be more open with the idea of the team becoming a family. However, the Z-Team wouldn't be the Z-Team without making a few bets.

Regardless, his decision is in vain when he's the only one able to go on a mission covertly after a hospital is hit with a hostage situation and a bomb threat, since the public doesn't know his real identity. Herm honestly just wishes his happiness didn't overlap with getting in harm's way.
Takes place on the route where Robert kills Shroud, Invisigal embraces heroism, and Robert doesn't romance anyone.
Slowburn WaterMech feelings ensues.
