Summary:
Sometimes life came at you with a clenched fist and Ilya had never figured out how to duck.
So here he was, twenty-eight years old, single, dealing with the fallout from injuries given to him by the game he loved, and the second youngest assistant coach in the league to one of the worst teams. Stability was hard to come by, but he was managing.
Then along came Shane Hollander to knock him on his ass, one more time.

i read this about a week ago and it knocked /me/ on my ass by how much i loved it!!! luckily i got permission from the author to podfic it because i knew really wanted to, and here we are. i recorded chapter 1 still a little sick so it's not my best work, i am sorry! stick with me and it will get better, i will try my best to do the story justice.
also usual disclaimer that i am not doing any russian accent for ilya here, just trying for a rough vibe to slightly differentiate the characters. this is 100% self indulgent lol
