“Honey, I'm home,” Hunter giggled, walking through the front door of his house. When he received no response, he became confused. “Rosa?” He called out, closing the door behind him. He walked around with the kitchen in view, and what he saw was absolutely shocking.
Food, food, and more food. Meats, vegetables, desserts. Freshly lit candles, and a silky red tablecloth. The kitchen was damn near spotless, so clean he could see his reflection in the fridge door. And his beautiful girlfriend Rosa, standing there in the most beautiful pink dress. “Hi sweetie,” she says, exuding confidence.
“Holy shit,” Hunter says, breathless. “This is… amazing! How long did it take?”
Rosa giggles. “Believe it or not, 3 hours. I learned how to work quickly.”
“Is there a special occasion?” Hunter asks.
“Just wanted to show my love for you,” Rosa says. “We could live like this every night.”
“This is nice,” Hunter says. “But we don’t have to have fancy food all the time for me to love you. I mean, I’m very appreciative, but I don’t want you to feel like you have to do this for any reason. If you want to, that’s perfectly fine, but-”
“Babe,” Rosa interrupts. “You’re spiraling again.”
Hunter takes a deep breath. “Sorry… sorry.”
Rosa chuckles again. “Sofia’s in bed. Let’s have this night to ourselves, okay? No need to worry.” Rosa pulls him in for a kiss.
Hunter seems much calmer when the break contact. “Yeah. Let’s do that.”

The dinner was AMAZING. There wasn't anything on the table that Hunter didn't eat. Rosa enjoyed it too. The two sat there, chatting about things that have been going on lately.
Hunter eventually looked out of the window. “Looks like the stars are out tonight,” he said. “What do you say we see what constellations we can find?”
“Just like old times?” Rosa asked.
“Just like old times,” Hunter repeated.
The two went out of the front door and into the front yard. Despite their clothes getting dirty, they proceeded to sit in the grass, and look at the sky. They identified the different constellations in the sky all night long.
