Chapter Text
Ron wearily looked at the Slytherin table and yes, Thomas Riddle and Tom Riddle were still looking at Harry, his best friend, something possessive and animalistic in the alphas gaze, as if they didn’t like seeing Harry happy, laughing with anyone other than them. It was as if Harry was already their omega.
Ron wouldn’t be shocked to learn if the two did think along those lines. He glanced at said omega beside him and couldn’t help but smile.
Harry, was as usual oblivious, laughing with Luna and Anthony, unaware that the two he liked also liked him in return.
Hermione, his girlfriend who was sitting beside him was telling Neville how to tackle their transfiguration essay. Ron sighed as he started on his second sandwich.
He couldn’t really blame Harry for being careful. The Riddle twins were complicated to say the least.
They were both Salazar Slytherin’s heirs and were quite arrogant to say the least.
Tom Riddle was charming, polite, he was loved by all of their teachers. With student populace, the alpha wasn't rude per se but he was quite aloof. It was like he hid his dark personality behind polite façade and breathtaking smiles; he insulted people while grinning, looking at them as if they were foolish to even speak to him.
Tom’s twin on the other hand looked just like him, minus the silver eyes. Thomas had peculiar burgundy eyes and was always angry. The alpha was just so bitter and cynical about everything. He relished in showing his fellow schoolmates how beneath him they all were, he just left first and second years alone. He sneered and openly mocked when someone was punished or berated in class or when he punished students for misdeeds.
In short, Thomas took pleasure in others pain and suffering while his twin thought everyone was part of the walls.
Except for Harry. With Harry, Thomas was different. Thomas didn’t talk to Harry. While Tom showered Harry with affection and care, Thomas only looked at him.
Ron knew why Thomas didn’t speak to Harry. Everyone in their group knew except Harry who made excuses for Thomas’ behaviour, defending the alpha when they weren’t even bonded. Ron just knew Harry, Tom and Thomas will be unbearable to look at when they get together. But he’ll ignore it since he knows his best friend, his brother in all but blood would be very happy with the Riddle twins.
The Riddle twins will make Harry their omega. He knew it, their friends knew it. Tom and Thomas knew.
Just Harry didn’t.
More like he couldn’t accept that the twins wanted him. Harry thought the twins didn’t give a fuck about anyone. They were just polite to Harry.
Which was entirely untrue. They were polite and nice only to Harry.
Ron had seen first-hand how indifferent and insulting they were. Everyone had seen it.
Professor Snape had made both the twins’ prefects for Slytherin since you couldn’t give one the responsibility. But Thomas had openly laughed at the badge. He had returned it back to Snape in the Great Hall. Dumbledore had found the whole situation hilarious. Snape hadn’t. He had tried to dock points for Thomas’s cheek but had been unable too.
“Salazar’s heir. Remember, prof.” Thomas smirked at his head of house who looked ready to throw him from the astronomy tower.
“I haven’t done anything wrong, professor. You can’t dock points for something so meaningless.”
Tom tried to control the situation, but only got an eye roll from Snape.
“You two are exactly alike, you are just better at hiding it.”
Tom bit his lip to hide his grin, but nodded at his teacher, taking the badge from him and going after his twin.
Then there had been that incident which Ron had seen with his own eyes.
He had seen people giving Tom the looks but no one dared approach him, he may not be as insulting and rude as Thomas but there was something about him which innately told everyone he was not someone to mess with, to stay away from. That intuition was only proven true after what happened with those two betas.
No one asked Thomas out or even looked at Tom again after Thomas had humiliated the two girls who’d thought they could change him.
Bloody hell, the mindset of some people.
Ron didn’t understand how anyone could be that stupid. And people said he was emotionally stunted. Yeah right. At least he wasn’t dumb like the two girls.
“Really? You like me? You think you can change me? There is nothing wrong with me. How dare you insinuate I have some defects?!” The two Slytherin witches’ eyes widened in horror and they tried to say something but Thomas held up a hand.
“Shut up. You have some nerve to ask me out and insult me in same breath.” Thomas Riddle sneered and the two girls gulped, taking a step back from him. “Well, what was I expecting from idiots like you.” He waved them off as if they were flies. He didn’t even know their names.
Which was entirely reasonable in his eyes.
Only Harry muttered to him, he was the only one he cared to remember every single thing about. Neither he nor Tom gave a gave a damn about anyone else.
“Instead of wasting your parents’ money and panting after boys and alphas, just go and do what you are supposed to do in school.”
He smirked viciously, his red eyes glinting dangerously as his pheromones turned toxic. “And for your information, I already have someone, and it’s always going to be him, my omega. He is also Tom’s beloved. So, don’t ever bother me or my twin again.”
Riddle turned around, heading off in the direction of Great hall entirely unconcerned that the two girls were crying behind him. Why the fuck should he care if they were crying? They had some nerve to insult him, even dare ask him out. They can cry to death for all he cares.
The sheer audacity of the two to even approach him, to say hurtful things about his Harry, they should be grateful he didn’t curse them and turn them into toads.
Ron who had been watching the whole scene couldn’t find it in himself to even feel pity for the two betas. He didn’t really care since both the Slytherin witches were very mean to Harry. His priority was his best friend. As far as he was concerned, this was karma for their own misdeeds. Maybe Thomas had known about how they bullied Harry. Yes, yes, that was very much a possibility.
Thomas hid his feelings for Harry for reasons unknown but Ron knew he cared a lot.
Now Tom had no such qualms. He flirted with Harry openly, touching his shoulders suggestively or brushing his cheek fondly, the acts which never failed to bring a rosy flush to Harry’s cheeks. There was always this really nice aura around them.
But Harry still didn’t want to admit they liked each other.
Harry thought that was just Tom being playful. He, Luna, Hermione, Neville and Anthony had grimaced when they’d heard that. Clearly Harry was living in his own wonderland.
“ I am the fool who likes them both. I think Tom and Thomas are not interested in such things. Just because they are alphas does not mean they care for sex or romance. Tom was just being nice to me. ”
The five begged to differed but kept their mouth shut.
Oh, Harry. They like you, they adore you. They like everything about you. Tom Riddle and Thomas Riddle only like you. You are the only one Thomas hasn’t insulted in this whole bloody school. Even teachers weren’t safe from Thomas Riddle’s snide comments and rude attitude. The five of them had thankfully only gotten derisive sneers from Thomas. They knew the reason for that barely their consideration.
They were Harry’s friends.
Not to mention Tom Riddle always maintained a distance with everyone. Ron had seen Tom actually glaring at some students who were looking at him. That’s why he was sure Tom also had a very dark personality. Tom Riddle only flirted and touched Harry Potter, no one else.
Sometimes Ron wanted to shake Harry badly and just force him to admit his feelings. Why was Harry so nice and so so oblivious?
Harry always blushed adorably whenever Slytherin won the quidditch matches because of Thomas. Thomas was Slytherin’s seeker and Slytherin house won every match he played. Even Ron can begrudgingly admit Thomas looked good on the broom. His brother/twin cheered for him the loudest. The twins loved each other, that was clear as daylight. Tom was the only person Thomas smiled around in school.
They’d heard the rumours why Tom wasn’t part of the quidditch team since they had all seen Tom on the broom and he was as good as his twin.
“Thomas and I can’t take all the glory. If I would play, no one will even look at other players.”
Thomas was also always mysteriously absent whenever they played against Slytherin. He, Hermione, Luna, Neville and Anthony had a bet going on that the reason was Harry.
“Thomas won’t play against, Harry.” Anthony said, an amused grin on his face. “The Riddle twins like Harry too much to even think about defeating him.”
Gryffindor had won the quidditch cup twice only because Thomas was absent in both the final matches. And Slytherin had won the house cup for last six years solely because of the Riddle twins. And quidditch cup three times. Gryffindor hadn’t been in those three finals, so Thomas had annihilated the opposition by catching the snitch very quickly.
Ron made up his mind then and there. Tom and Thomas loved Harry, Harry loved both of them too. The three would look extremely beautiful together, they would have lovely babies! They have to be together. He was going to be the best godfather to Harry and Tom and Thomas’ children.
Harry was a dominant omega; Tom and Thomas Riddle were dominant alphas. They were a perfect match. It wouldn’t be wrong to say they were born for each other.
“Oi, mate.” He called to Harry who immediately stopped talking to Anthony. His best friend blinked, surprised by his interruption. He didn’t usually disturb conversations.
“What is it, Ron?” Harry asked. His curiosity only peaked as Ron nodded to himself then got up, grabbed his arm and asked the others to follow him.
Harry was bewildered as Ron basically dragged him out. What was Ron up to?
“Ron?” He tried to get his friend’s attention but Ron didn’t answer. The other four were surprised but followed their friends out. None of them knew what was up with Ronald.
Harry hesitantly glanced back at the Slytherin table and flushed when he saw their eyes were fixed on him and Ron.
Both Tom and Thomas were looking at their group with barely concealed anger. If looks could incinerate, Harry’s friends would be toast, Ron doubly so since he had grabbed him.
Harry felt lightheaded for some reason. When he felt Ron pulling the sleeve of his robes again, he snapped out of his dazed state and ducked his head, quickly leaving the hall and forcing himself to not look back.
The way Riddle twins had been looking at him, it sent pleasant shivers down his spine, making his scent turn sweeter. It was by sheer will alone his underwear was thankfully still dry and clean. It always got wet with slick and cum when he was alone, thinking about Tom and Thomas. It was a blessing his friends were all betas, they wouldn’t be able to notice the change in his scent.
The six soon reached the Room of requirement and Ron made Harry sit on the couch. Harry was blushing for some reason; he ignored that for now. He turned his attention to his girlfriend who was looking at him expectantly.
“I’ve decided I’ve had enough.”
Luna, Neville and Anthony blinked, not sure they’d heard right. Hermione furrowed her brows in confusion while Harry was still confused by everything Ron had done in last few minutes and the reaction of Riddle twins.
“Ronald what?” Hermione asked slowly. What was going on in her boyfriend’s mind? Ron looked very determined for some reason.
Ron shook his head, opting to not answer and turned to Harry. He carefully grasped his hands in his and Harry’s eyes widened. What was Ron doing?
“Ron?” Harry asked, gobsmacked by his friend’s actions.
Ron smiled kindly at him and sweeped down and engulfed him in a bear hug. The others in the room gasped and Harry stilled.
What was happening? Was Ron okay? Only his parents and sometimes his godfathers had ever touched him like this. Was Ron not well?
“You are my best friend, Harry.” Ron said as he leaned back, ruffling Harry’s head, “and that’s why I am saying this, ask the Riddle twins out. Hell, let them mark you as theirs as soon as possible.”
Harry’s eyes widened as others finally caught on to what was the matter, wide grins sliding on their face.
“You like them. They like you a lot. They adore you! You love them both, Harry. Why are you in denial? It’s painful to watch you three now! Tom and Thomas love you as you love them, Harry.”
Harry’s blush deepened which each word out of Ron’s mouth, he had the insane urge to run from the room.
Ron turned to others then and told them about his observations, explaining why he did what he did, why it necessary to do this now. Imperative actually.
To his surprise, as he finished, Hermione closed the distance between them and kissed Ron on the cheek.
“I am so proud you are my boyfriend, Ronald.”
Ron blushed, grinning sheepishly, leaning forward to kiss Hermione’s cheek as well.
Luna, Anthony and Neville grinned at the two before turning to Harry who had hidden his face in his hands. Even if they were all betas, they could tell Harry was actually very pleased by everything Ron had said. Harry’s calming, soothing scent told them everything he couldn’t with words.
“Harry?” Luna’s voice made the omega in question raise his head.
Neville and Luna were smiling at him while Anthony had sat down beside him, draping his arm around his shoulders.
“Come on, Harry. Show that Gryffindor bravery. Ask Tom and Thomas Riddle out. Tell them your feelings, I can assure you, they’ll be over the moon with your confession. They are head over heels in love with you!”
Harry again felt his heart skipping a beat at the mention of Tom and Thomas, still not quite believing what was happening. His gaze swept from Luna, Neville and Anthony to Ron and Hermione, who were nodding at Anthony’s words.
His chest filled with warmth as he saw the genuine care and affection in his friends’ gaze. They only wanted him to be happy with his alphas, Tom and Thomas. They only wished for him to be with Tom and Thomas Riddle.
He was glad to have such good friends.
Harry knew his friends thought he was oblivious but he wasn’t. He was well aware that Tom and Thomas treated him with utmost sincerity. The two were older than him, in their seventh year, but were always there to help him, they didn’t help anyone else. Tom may not insult people to their faces but he didn’t care about them in the slightest. Neither did he go out of his way to help anyone other than Harry.
Tom always greeted him with beatific smiles, his scent which was subdued because of suppressants all alphas and omegas took filled the air around them when they spoke, creating a calming presence around them which always made Harry feel relaxed, content, as if he was floating on clouds.
Tom always subtly showered him in his pheromones, clearly telling everyone Harry was his his and his alone. He had even once shoved his tie in his hands, telling Harry to just keep it. Harry had been to bewildered to say anything but just keep it with himself.
Even Thomas who didn’t speak to him had literally wrapped his scarf around his neck when he had forgotten his in a hurry during Christmas holidays in his fifth year, not bothering to hear his thanks or words of gratitude, just simply leaving after making sure Harry was warm and safe. He had point blank refused to take the muffler back.
Harry was very ashamed to admit he had used that muffler and tie during his heat, burying his face in the muffler as he got off, wrapped Tom’s tie around his hand as he fingered himself, covering it in his slick and cum, imagining both Tom and Thomas were there with him.
Thomas was the kind of person who would laugh or simply walk away if anyone other than Harry was in such a state. Tom was same, he wouldn’t give a damn either. They were only considerate of him. Tom would actually dock points from the student, saying it was their own stupidity they caught cold, roaming around like a fool.
So, no, Harry got it where Ron and his friends were coming from.
But he was still afraid.
“You know three-way bonds aren’t very common.” Harry finally spoke, his voice soft, finally laying out his greatest concern out there.
His parents knew about his feelings for Tom and Thomas and were completely fine with it, had even congratulated him on his fine choice in his alpha mates. Sirius and Rodolphus didn’t care either, they actually encouraged him to tell the twins he liked them, uncle Remus and Rabastan were same, they also advised him to follow his heart and not think too much. Uncle Severus had pretty much said same things as Rabastan and Remus.
“What if the bite won’t take of one twin? Do you know how rare it is for an omega to have two alphas as his mates?”
His friends didn’t reply but Harry could see they were now getting where his hesitance came from.
Uncle Severus, Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy Snape were together and were very happy with each other. But they were betas, they couldn’t understand how hurtful it would be if one alpha’s mark wouldn’t take on his omega. It would cause unimaginable pain to the omega and the alpha whose mark won’t take. In his case, it would make both of his beloved alphas suffer.
Dominant omegas and alphas were rare since they could control their fertility and had longer life spans even the ones who were non magic folk. Dominate omegas could decide when to get pregnant, dominant alphas were the same, if they didn’t want, it wouldn’t take. They could also subjugate other alphas.
But in this instance, they were same as every other omega and alpha out there.
Luna’s gaze softened as she heard that. She leaned forward, caressing Harry’s head. Harry lifted his head to look at her, a wistful smile on his face.
“Oh, Harry. It will be fine. It will be, trust me. Tom Riddle, Thomas Riddle, they are yours as you are theirs. Don’t worry about that. You’ll be fine. They adore you, Harry. Only you.”
The words did their magic, making Harry feel as if a heavy burden had been lifted from him. He looked at his friends’ faces, the truth of Luna’s words reflecting in their encouraging smiles.
Finally, Harry allowed himself to let go of the hesitance in his heart. His face broke into a true grin. “You are right.”
As they all settled down on the king-sized bed that had materialised suddenly, Ron told him again about his observations in detail. Everyone else nodded alongside Ron, making Harry bright red by the time they finished.
Was he really that in denial when Tom and Thomas were so obvious? He’d asked himself why Thomas wasn’t on the Slytherin team ever when Gryffindor and Slytherin played. He knew why the alpha didn’t play but he always shut down that part of him because it made him feel stupidly ecstatic, as if there were little butterflies in his belly.
Tom always skilfully diverted his attention when he asked him about his brother’s absence, never giving him an answer. Instead, Tom spoke to him in that velvet crushed voice of his, his eyes looking at Harry as if he was his everything. It was enough to make him forget what he was even asking.
Harry had to put up with his friends’ amused grins in those matches, ignoring the reason which he knew in his heart but was adamant to not accept.
He was the reason Thomas didn’t bother showing up in those matches.
Both Tom and Thomas only had eyes for Harry and Harry alone.
“Alright, alright,” Harry nodded at his friends, his emerald eyes showing his resolve. “I’ll tell Tom and Thomas how I feel about them.”
