Summary:

In the few moments before the Roaring, a Lightner and a Darkner are scared of their future together.

Notes:

Drabbles are difficult lemme tell you...I had been working on this for days now and most of it was tryna make it fit in 100 words, but I did it!! And it was SO worth it!!

This was made for this months ficwip drabble prompt, the prompt was "forgotten love" and I knew I HAD to make it about Ralsusie because that is exactly what they feel like to me, forgotten love. Oughdlkghlf

Also I made a Ralsusie series now, probs not gonna be connected at all, likely just gonna be where I store all my Ralsusie fics lol

Work Text:

In the few moments before the Roaring, a Lightner and a Darkner are scared of their future together.

"This is the end, isn't it?" Ralsei asks.

"It is." Susie replies, her voice shaky, "I can't believe it, honestly."

"Well…I want you to know that I love you." He confesses.

There's a sharp pain in her heart when he says that, "I do too." She tells him, "And I don't want to forget you, ever!"

"Do not worry Susie," He takes her hand, telling her something he thought she would be saying to him, "Our love will never be forgotten."
