Changes:
Harry Potter wasn’t completely sure if what he heard was real. He kept thinking he must be dreaming. A giant of a man told him he was a wizard. Yet the man was walking beside Harry.
As Harry looked around, he couldn’t see any shop that might sell things that Hagrid said he would need at Hogwarts. So again, he thought there was a chance he was dreaming that Hagrid was walking beside him. He had a lot of strange dreams before, like the flying motorbike so this could just be another one of those dreams.
‘In here Harry.’
Harry looked around and noticed the door Hagrid was pointing at. He knew he hadn’t see it before. But one thing Harry did realise, the muggles, that’s what Hagrid called non magicals, they didn’t appear to see the door to the Leaky Cauldron. Harry wondered if this was some of the magic Hagrid told him he would learn.
Harry felt overwhelmed when everyone began to crowd around him to shake his hand. He kept taking deep breaths to stop himself having passing out. He had passed out a few times over the years, usually when he got really scared of Uncle Vernon and what punishment he might dish out. Finally Hagrid steered him towards the back. Harry wasn’t paying attention until the wall started to move. Then there was an archway leading to rows of shops along a cobbled street.
‘Wow,’ Harry whispered, Hagrid heard which made the big man chuckle.
‘First is Gringotts, to get some money.’
Harry nodded, he didn’t know what to say, but he also wasn’t sure if he was allowed to say anything. He was so used to being told not to talk unless asked something by his uncle or aunt.
After speaking with a goblin and a very fast and fun ride in a cart, Harry finally had money.
‘Alright, let’s get your things Harry. What’s first?’
‘Um, I don’t know,’ Harry whispered.
‘It’s on your list I gave you, just read it.’
Harry was holding the strange paper Hagrid had given him. He looked at it then looked down at his shoes.
‘Well, where to first?’
‘I don’t know,’ Harry whispered again.
‘What do you mean you don’t know? You’ve got the list in your hand.’
‘I don’t know how to read,’ Harry’s voice was barely a whisper.
‘The muggles didn’t teach you?’
All Harry did was shake his head but he continuously looked down at his feet.
Neither Hagrid nor Harry knew that someone was listening to their conversation. This person had seen the-boy-who-lived in the Leaky Cauldron and had seen how the boy reacted when everyone wanted to shake his hand. She had also seen the way he was dressed. The clothes he had on looked old and worn out. He also had tape holding his glasses together. Her reasons for following the boy was personal but she also admitted, if only to herself, that she was curious about the boy who vanquished Voldemort ten years before. But after seeing how the boy was dressed and how he behaved, she knew that someone has been lying about the boy. She was told he was safe and cared for and she believed it. She did want Harry safe, which he was from the death eaters that got away with their crimes. Now she knew he hadn’t been cared for at all. She had tried for years to see Harry to make sure he was safe and happy. Now, after what she was seeing, it made her furious because she knew she had been lied to.
‘Did you go to muggle school?’ Hagrid asked kindly, again Harry shook his head, ‘Alright, I’ll read your list then talk to Professor Dumbledore. You will need to learn how to read before your classes. I always knew those Dursley’s were bad, but Professor Dumbledore said you would be safe with your aunt, even if she is a muggle. Come on Harry, let’s start with your wand since most kids can’t wait to get a wand,’ Hagrid thought he could ask in Flourish and Blotts about a book to help children read. He didn’t need to say it was for Harry Potter.
Hagrid headed back to Hogwarts after returning Harry to Surrey. He found out that Professor Dumbledore had to go to the ministry to see the minister. So Hagrid decided to speak with the deputy headmistress.
‘Yes, Hagrid.’
‘A problem Professor.’
‘Go on.’
‘Professor Dumbledore had me fetch Harry Potter, since he wasn’t receiving his letters. I ended up finding them in a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean. It seems they were trying to hide from us. I admit I got angry, poor Harry didn’t know he was a wizard and they told him his parent’s died in a car crash. Anyway, I took him to get his things. And this is where the problem is Professor. The poor boy can’t read, they didn’t teach him or send him to muggle school.’
‘I knew they were the worst kind of muggles. Thank you Hagrid, I will need to work on what to do about Mr Potter since he won’t be able to join the first years in class.’
Minerva waited until Hagrid left before she lost her stiff posture. She never wanted Harry left with those muggles, yet she knew there was no use arguing with Albus. Minerva knew Albus placed powerful wards around the house to protect Harry, but she still believed he should have been placed with a magical family. She even believed someone could have taken him overseas until he was older.
Amelia Bones was in her office hurrying to get the paperwork finished. She finally thought she could fulfil her duty that Lily Potter had given her. If it wasn’t for Albus Dumbledore she would have raised her godson, but Harry had been hidden before she even knew Lily and James had died.
Harry was curled up in the corner of his room trying to ignore the pain. He’s uncle was angrier than Harry had ever seen him, because of what Hagrid had done to Dudley. Like always, Uncle Vernon had blamed Harry and his freakish ways.
When he saw the door open, he winced and tried to make himself look smaller.
‘Harry,’ Amelia said kindly, ‘Harry, my name is Amelia Bones, I’m your godmother. Are you okay?’ Amelia moved into the room, but stopped when she noticed the bruises on Harry’s arm and he seemed to flinch, ‘I will never hurt you sweetheart. I’m here to take you away from these people. Then I will make sure they pay for what they have done to you.’
Harry slowly lifted his head to stare at the lady, ‘I’m leaving?’
‘Yes, you’ll be coming home with me where I can look after you,’ Amelia knelt down near the boy, ‘I’ve tried for years to find you, but I kept getting blocked. I happen to be in the Leaky Cauldron when you and Hagrid was there. I followed you so I could hear what you were saying. When I heard Hagrid say the Dursley’s, I knew I finally had a chance at finding you and take you home. Would you like to come home with me?’ Harry nodded, ‘Now I’m going to shrink your trunk. Are all your belongings in there?’ Harry nodded again, ‘You can hold your owl and cage.’
Amelia wanted to begin cursing the muggles, she also wanted to curse Albus Dumbledore and the people who helped him hide Harry with abusive muggles. The moment she got Harry settled in his room, she had a house elf bring some potions.
‘As you know, normally when you’re hurt or sick you go see a doctor. Well, in the magical world you see a healer. I am not a healer, but my job can get very dangerous so I learned to make healing potions and healing ointments. First I want you to take this yellow potion. It may not taste very nice but it will stop the pain.’
It took Amelia half an hour to get Harry to tell her what was wrong and what hurt. It took her another half an hour to cast the basic healing charms then to spread the healing paste over the different bruises that covered the very small boy’s body.
‘Now I heard that boy say some nasty things, so I assume he also hurt you,’ she sighed when Harry nodded, ‘I want you to know that I will never, ever hurt you, nor will my niece Susan who I raised from a baby. Her parent’s, like yours were killed by Voldemort. Susan is a very quiet and shy girl but that’s just her nature, she’s like her father, who was my brother.’
‘I’m sorry you’re brother died,’ Harry whispered.
‘Thank you. I just want you to know that Susan is a very kind girl who will never hurt you. I’m hoping you would like to meet her.’
‘Um, okay.’
‘Susan can actually help you learn to read. She loves to read. And we have a very large library here so when you do learn to read you can borrow books whenever you want. You may even want to sit in the library and read. That will be your choice. Now though, I will get Milly to bring you some food. I already know they never gave you enough to eat. One of the potions I gave you will help you digest food better. But you will take time before you will be able to eat a normal size meal. So right now Milly will bring you soup and a bread roll, along with a glass of juice and a glass of milk. I need to go find my niece, she is probably in her room or the library. Will you be okay for now?’
‘Yes ma’am.’
‘You call me Aunty Amelia, no more ma’am, we’re family, but family that care and look after each other. Susan calls me Aunty Amelia as well.’
‘Thank you, for rescuing me and for wanting me. No one wanted me before.’
‘Many people wanted you Harry, but we couldn’t find you. Now rest, the potions will take time and you need to rest.’
Amelia gave Harry another smile then left the room. She spoke with the house elf who took Harry some food and drinks before she went to speak with her niece. She was angry but she was hiding so she wouldn’t scare the children, especially Harry who she could tell was worried he would be hurt, again.
Susan ended up crying into her aunts arms when she heard what happened to Harry Potter. After she calmed down she washed her face then waited to meet the-boy-who-lived.
Amelia left Susan in the library so she could fetch Harry, who had finished his food and was now sitting on the bed.
‘How are you feeling Harry?’
‘A lot better, thank you.’
‘You’re welcome. Are you ready to come downstairs and meet Susan?’
‘Um, okay. But does she know she doesn’t have to like me, no one likes me.’
‘I like you and many would like you if they met you. Those people are disgusting creatures that I will make sure are punished for what they did to you. Come on Harry, it’s time to see what a real family is like.’
Harry kept his head lowered as he walked beside his new aunt. He knew she sounded nice, but he had seen people act nice before, then he would end up in a lot of pain.
‘Harry, this is Susan.’
Harry lifted his head to see a girl with red hair, ‘Hi.’
‘Hello Harry, it’s nice to meet you. Aunt Amelia said I could show you around so you get familiar with the house. It’s pretty big so it’s easy to get lost. Would you like to go for a walk with me?’
Harry paused then looked up at his new aunt who gave him a smile, so he nodded. Susan smiled then gestured for Harry to follow her.
‘I just need to make a few floo calls. Take your time and call Milly if you want anything.’
Susan waited until her aunt left before she looked back at Harry, again with a smile.
‘Aunty Amelia will never hurt you, neither will I. From now on we’ll be like brother and sister.’
‘Okay.’
‘I know you’re worried and probably scared, but I promise you don’t need to be, not anymore. You’re here now and Aunty Amelia will make sure you are looked after. So are you ready to have a look around?’
‘Yes, thank you.’
‘Would you mind if I held your hand?’
Harry’s eyes widened but he could see Susan waited to see what he said. So he nodded. Susan took Harry’s hand, and gave it a gentle squeeze before they left the library.
Amelia had just finished speaking with Minerva McGonagall to explain she now had custody of her godson and that Harry and Susan would not be attending Hogwarts. She had already filed the paperwork so the two children will be taught by tutors. She asked Minerva to keep quiet about these arrangements, Amelia was hoping to keep the whereabouts of Harry a secret, not just from Albus Dumbledore, but the minister and his staff, along with people like Lucius Malfoy. She had sealed all the files using her legal expertise but also because she was magically and legally Harry Potter’s guardian. Amelia could tell that Minerva would keep her secret, she figured Hagrid must have explained about how Harry looked and how he couldn’t read. It was time to think of Harry’s welfare and keep him away from all that would use him or hurt him until he was old enough to look after himself. Before the finished speaking, Minerva gave her word that she will never reveal anything about where Harry Potter was. She also said if she heard anything from Albus, or others, about Harry, she would let Amelia know.
Amelia needed to work on ways of concealing Harry when they went out. Right now it would only take one person to see how much Harry looked like James Potter to realise where he was. She was going to speak with Croaker from the department of mysteries to see if he might know of a way to hide Harry’s looks and scar until he was a lot older. The children would need to go out occasionally so Harry would need to be hidden, at least until he was an adult.
Susan had shown Harry around the house, making sure she pointed out where the bathrooms were. She grew up in the house so she knew every part of it, but she could tell that Harry would probably get lost a few times.
‘It’s big.’
‘It’s very big and been in my family for centuries. Has Aunty told you anything about your family?’
Harry shook his head, ‘Not a lot, she said she would soon.’
‘Well, I know that your family always lived in Godric’s Hollow and your grandparent’s had a very large manor home there, similar to this. Godric’s hollow has magical people and muggles, so most homes that are owned by witches and wizards are charmed so the muggles don’t see what they really look like. I don’t know a lot about that, just the muggles will see a normal house so they don’t get suspicious.’
‘Muggles don’t like us,’ Harry whispered.
‘Some might not like us Harry, but some, like your relatives were probably scared you might use magic on them. There are some bad witches and wizards that hurt muggles, many were killed during the war.’
‘But I didn’t know I could do magic so why were they scared of me?’
‘They probably knew you would eventually learn how to use your magic. I’m sure Aunty will get the answers when she arrests them.’
‘I don’t think it will do any good. People have said they would help before, nothing was ever done. Then they just seem to forget about me.’
‘Not this time Harry,’ Amelia said kindly as she joined the two children, ‘This time magic is helping you and us. By the sound of it someone made those people forget what they saw or heard when it comes to you. I will find out, it just might take a while. Now, I came to tell you both I have to head into the ministry for an hour or so but I will be back for dinner. Susan I would like you to find some of your books from when you were young. Harry was never taught how to read, so I want you to begin to help him while I’m gone. Tomorrow we will work on a proper schedule so you can learn and have fun as well. For now, just find the books and show him some easy words. I will return soon.’
‘Yes Aunty,’ Susan smile. When her aunt left she took Harry into the library, ‘Even though I haven’t needed those books since I was little, we keep them here. Aunty said one day I will have my own children so I will be able to use those books to teach them. Right now they will help you.’
‘Thank you,’ Harry gave a small smile which Susan returned. She gestured for Harry to sit on one of the sofa’s while she went to find the books she would need.
Amelia had the Dursley’s arrested the day before the first of September. She found out that there was a squib who Albus put in Little Whinging to keep an eye on Harry. Arabella Figg was also arrested. They were taken to a cell in the muggle world and the police that she was dealing with were all squibs or muggleborns who had left the magical world. Amelia worked with them before. There were many times when muggles hurt witches and wizards or witches and wizards hurt muggles. They needed people who could work in both worlds to deal with these problems. Now they would deal with the people who had abused a little boy for ten years. Amelia would make sure they were locked up for a very long time.
Minerva kept an eye on Albus when she had been reading the names of all the first years. Albus might not realised she had skipped Susan Bones, but the next name she skipped would get his notice. As soon as she got to the student with the last name starting with R, Albus sat up straighter and began to look at each of the eleven year old children. Minerva would be questioned, but all she needed to say is what she always did when a parent removed a student from Hogwarts or a new child was not going to attend Hogwarts. The book that had all the names of the students who would be attending Hogwarts, but that book did not have the names Harry Potter or Susan Bones.
Minerva knew Albus would not be at Hogwarts over the next few weeks. Minerva would not be mentioning Susan Bones. If Albus asked he would say she wasn’t attending Hogwarts but that’s all she knew. Since Minerva knew who had Harry, she knew Albus would never find the boy. If by some chance he did, he would never be able to get Harry away from his godmother, Madam Amelia Bones, the director of the department of magical law enforcement. But she also figured it was time she stopped doing everything Albus wanted. She used to deal with a lot of his work when he had to leave Hogwarts when he was needed as chief warlock, no more. It was time Albus realised he either did his own work or quit one of his jobs.
Amelia was able to get the governors to keep an eye on Albus while he was at Hogwarts. When a student, who no one even realised was missing, was seriously hurt when a troll got into the castle many called for an enquiry. Even thought Albus had a very good reputation, a student being hurt was taken seriously. Now there were random inspections of the school and staff. The staff also had to make sure their students were accounted for at all time. The unspeakables had also worked on the ancient wards of Hogwarts and found many had been cancelled. The activated them then added more so no more dangerous creatures could get into the castle, but also, no dark objects could pass the wards. They did plan to place a new ward around Hogwarts which would stop anyone with a dark mark entering, but Albus was able to put up a good argument about Severus Snape, who was a death eater before he turned spy. The unspeakables and Amelia agreed, but said if Snape put a toe out of line, the ward will be activated and Snape would be gone from Hogwarts.
It only took a few weeks and the governors had the unspeakables activate the dark mark ward on Hogwarts when they found out how Severus Snape had been treating students who were not in Slytherin. Severus Snape ended up unconscious. Minerva had the house elves pack his belongings while Madam Bones stayed with Severus and escorted him from the castle and grounds of Hogwarts. No matter what Albus said, they would never remove that ward or allow Snape back at Hogwarts. What they didn’t find out was Quirrell, the defence against the dark arts teacher disappeared one day. He died in the forbidden forest, his body was never found.

Amelia had her contact keeping an eye on Albus Dumbledore and any of his supporters. Over the years she had been able to stop them from finding out where Harry Potter was. She knew Albus was suspicious of her, yet no one ever saw her with Harry Potter.
Amelia had been able to get some charmed lockets from Croaker. When Susan, Harry and Amelia put them on, their features and hair changed. Croaker had been able to work it so Harry and Susan looked like twins but not identical and both resembled the look he made for Amelia. He also helped with fake papers so it would seem that Susan had a twin brother. Most families didn’t release personal information, especially during the time Susan and Harry were born. They had the information ready if it was needed, which said that Susan’s twin had almost died at birth and he was always sickly which is why no one ever saw him. The file said the boy took years before he ended up well and now was perfectly healthy boy. They hoped never to use it, but they had it if it was needed.
At the time they were born, the war was heating up, so most children weren’t even registered. The parent’s did that after Voldemort disappeared. Amelia had passed that information to Minerva so if anyone asked about Susan, Minerva could also mention Susan’s twin brother, Steven. Croaker only made the fake papers in case someone got suspicious that it was Amelia that had Harry Potter. She was his legal guardian, which Lily Potter had named her to be, so no one can take Harry, but Amelia was not going to take the chance.
When Amelia, Susan and Harry, or Steven went out anywhere, they just looked like a mother and her two children. No one would ever suspect that the boy with honey blond hair was Harry Potter. The locket also served as a portkey to be used in emergency’s. It had two functions. One acted like a normal portkey that needed a password to activate. The second one meant that if the two children had not been in close proximity to Amelia within ten hours they would be transported to Bones manor. Croaker would only change that when the children got older.
Croaker had also examined Harry to make sure the abuse he had gone through would not affect his life in anyway. He found many things wrong, but a course of potions ended up fixing them. That information helped send the adult Dursley’s to jail along with the squib and Dudley ended up in a juvenile detention centre.
When Croaker found a very small piece of Voldemort’s soul behind Harry’s scar leeching off his magic, Croaker immediately knew how Voldemort had been able to survive. He removed the leech by transferring it into a crystal orb. He would use that orb to find any other soul pieces that Voldemort left behind. If he was lucky, he would be able to find what was left of Voldemort. Once he had the complete soul of Voldemort, Croaker would send the orb through the death veil. He would only tell Amelia so they would not insight a panic if people believed Voldemort was still around. Now all anyone would know is Harry Potter vanquished Voldemort when he was a baby, that was the end of the so called dark lord. If Albus Dumbledore tried to tell people Voldemort was still around, sooner or later people might stop believing him when there was no trouble or sighting of Voldemort, or they might believe he was just getting old. Amelia and Croaker wanted some of Dumbledore’s reputation ruined for not only the secrets he was keeping that was dangerous to their world, but because of how it was his idea to put Harry Potter with his muggle relatives and then lied about how he was treated.
Amelia would smile when she looked at the children. She thought of them as her children and they had come to think of her as their mother. They were both thriving and both had ended up skipping two grades. She did not just have tutors for the subjects they would learn at Hogwarts, Harry and Susan studied other subjects that were not offered at the ancient school. Harry was fascinated with wand making and brooms, he also had a gift for healing. So he was taking classes on those three subjects. He can decide what he would like to do when he got a little older. Susan already knew she wanted to be like her aunt, an auror. So apart from learning spells that would help if she was fighting dark wizards, she would also learn curse breaking and wards. Harry joined in learning how to fight as well, Amelia did that so Harry would be able to handle himself once he officially returned to the magical world as Harry Potter. Even though Harry was very good at spell casting and fighting and he showed how powerful he was, he still wanted to help people, not fight people.
It only took Croaker three months to find every part of Voldemort’s soul. Now all he needed was Voldemort himself. He knew the dark wizard would probably be a wraith or possessing someone. He would need to work on how to force the main part of Voldemort’s soul to come to him and end up in the soul orb.
It took two years before Croaker was able to invent a way to summon Voldemort’s soul to him. The moment the screaming wraith entered the room he was sucked into the orb. Since Croaker was the head unspeakable, he knew of the prophecy orb in the hall of prophecy’s and he knew what it said. He had spoken with Amelia who like Croaker believed that to be safe, than Harry should be the one to toss the crystal orb that held Voldemort through the veil of death.
Amelia and Croaker had sat Harry and Susan down and explained about the prophecy. Even though both adults were convinced that Harry had fulfilled the prophecy as a baby, they did not want to take the risk that Voldemort could somehow return. They wanted Harry to vanquish Voldemort again by having him throw the orb into the veil of death. Harry said he would do it, he wanted Voldemort gone completely and he said if there was a hell then Voldemort deserved to go there. They went straight to the department of mysteries where Croaker handed the orb to Harry. He gave Susan and Amelia a smile before he stepped close to the veil then he threw the orb as hard as he could straight through the veil of death.
That night Harry ended up crying himself to sleep, for his parent’s, for Susan’s parent’s and for everyone else that lost someone to Voldemort and his death eaters. Amelia had held him while he cried and only released him when he fell asleep.

On Harry Potter’s seventeenth birthday, Amelia released the information that she was named Harry’s godmother by Lily and James Potter. It took her years but she eventually found her godson and raised him as her son just as she raised Susan as her daughter. She also released the information that when she found her godson, she found he had been badly abused by the muggles that Albus Dumbledore had placed him with. Petunia Dursley might have been Lily’s sister and Harry’s aunt, but she was a muggle who hated witches and wizards. Amelia explained that the Dursley’s ended up in a muggle jail for child abuse.
Albus Dumbledore’s reputation had taken quite a few hits over the years. Badly injured students, discovery of death eaters inside Hogwarts and the death of a student. Because the death eater was using polyjuice potion, the dark mark didn’t show up so the ward did not stop him coming into Hogwarts. Now it was known that he left the boy-who-lived with people that did not like anyone from the magical world, he also never checked up on their hero. He had finally lost his position as headmaster and wasn’t even allowed to remain at Hogwarts as a teacher. No one wanted to trust him with their children. Minerva became headmistress who instantly got rid of Binns. She also made divination an electives for sixth and seventh years, but only after they had been tested to see if they had any type of talent in the subject.
From the moment the information about Harry Potter was printed in the Daily Prophet, Amelia received hundreds of letters every day. Her home was warded so any howlers were destroyed, along with any mail that had curses, hexes or the portus charm attached to them. A quarters of all the mail that came ended up destroyed by the wards. When checked, she found many portus charms. She had Croaker investigate and found not only were some of the mail that were charmed sent by Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape, some were also sent by Lucius Malfoy and Dolores Umbridge. Umbridge was senior undersecretary to the minister for magic and Lucius Malfoy had been one of those arrested after the fall of Voldemort that said he had been placed under the imperious curse.
The minister could not stop them being arrested and tried in front of the whole Wizengamot for attempted kidnapping. Amelia and Harry both pressed charges, the victim and the guardian. When Lucius Malfoy was on trial, Amelia had enough support to be able to use veritaserum. All his secrets came out. He had been a death eater and he joined willingly. Dolores Umbridge wanted to use the boy who lived to help her career, she wanted to become minister for magic. Since she had been in a position of power, veritaserum was used as well. Information came out that she had killed the last undersecretary, along with many muggleborns who everyone thought turned down their spots at Hogwarts. Right at the end of the trials, the aurors arrested every person named by Lucius Malfoy, most of those were the ones who said they had been under the imperius curse. They also arrested others that worked for the ministry, in key positions. The arrests Amelia liked doing the most was Severus Snape and Albus Dumbledore. Both were found guilty of attempted kidnapping and sent to Azkaban. Albus finally lost everything.
Amelia realised that if Croaker hadn’t found that soul leech in Harry, which he used to find Voldemort, he would have returned and would have had all his people already in the ministry ready for him to take over. Now, every one of them were in Azkaban.
Fudge finally began to listen to people like Amelia, Croaker and Madam Longbottom. They made many changes in the ministry, mainly to stop pure-bloods from stopping muggleborns getting jobs. But now, everyone who applied for a job had to have the right newt scores and take an aptitude test. Fudge knew he wouldn’t remain as minister, but he figured if he did help Amelia then he might keep some of his reputation in tact.
Even though Harry and Susan grew up as siblings, they admitted to Amelia they had falling in love. She wasn’t surprised, she had seen a few looks go on between them. She just told them she was happy for them, but she would always be there for them as long as she was alive.

When Harry finished his healer training and Susan finished her auror training, they married in a quiet and private ceremony held at Bones manor with only a dozen people to see their hero married. When some of the wedding pictures were released the following day, they received congratulations from most people, but there were a few who tried to send cursed letters to Susan, one of those that sent a cursed letter was Ginny Weasley. She always hoped to marry Harry, when they found him and returned him to Hogwarts, now he was married to Susan Bones, the niece of the head of the department of magical law enforcement. Because of the seriousness of the curse, Ginny Weasley was arrested. She was tried and sent to Azkaban for twenty five years. But during her trial Amelia got more information. Albus Dumbledore and Molly Weasley had signed a marriage contract for Harry and Ginny, which was illegal. Albus was already in Azkaban, now he was joined by Molly and Ginny Weasley. Molly got five years and Albus had five years added to his sentence. It wasn’t just for the signing of the contract, they found out that they planned to steal the Potter money, after they made sure Harry was told he got Ginny pregnant. Love potions would be used, along with dark potions to make Harry completely obedient and loyal to Albus, Molly and Ginny. Since they never got to use this potion, they could only do time for signing and trying to force through an illegally signed contract.
It was thanks to Croaker who was able to first remove the leech from behind Harry’s scar, he was able to fully heal the scar so it was no longer visible. Harry had also seen about laser surgery for his eyes in the muggle world. He had gotten so used to having different coloured hair that he would keep doing that whenever he was out, no one recognised Harry Potter. That’s just the way Harry liked it. He knew from the time he was with Amelia that people would continuously want to get close to him. They would follow him and take photo’s. Harry wanted to be normal, so since he continuously used different coloured hair, no one saw the boy who lived.
As he stared at his wife, Harry couldn’t help smiling. He already knew he was lucky to have Amelia as his aunt but now he had Susan as his wife. To Harry, he finally felt that he could be normal and not the-boy-who-lived.
