“A-Yun, don’t.” Xia Yao calmly stated as the blended scent of white orchid and orange blossom wafted through the air of the high end Korean Barbecue restaurant. He truly felt sorry for his friend. Before the accident he’d been Shen Wenlang, proud omega and lover to Hua Yong and Sheng Shaoyou. Both had taken Shen Wenlang for granted and now that he was healthy they wanted their lover back. Well it wasn’t going to be that easy. Shen Wenlang, now Jiang Lingyun, was happier than ever. His memories were gone but Jiang Lingyun was focusing on his pregnancy. The one thing he felt was making the two alphas want him back.
“It’s fine. I will just tell them to leave.” Jiang Lingyun smiled at Xia Yao and at Li ZhenZhen. He’d agreed to leave to have lunch with them during Xia Yao’s lunch break. Mostly because he couldn’t turn down the
“They listened the last time.”
“If they don’t we can get security to make them.” Li ZhenZhen smiled at him in comfort.
“I’ll go out to the terrace.” Jiang Lingyun giggled, thinking how funny that would be to put the two alphas out. Especially when he knew the hotel below was owned by Hua Yong.
“Take my jacket.” Xia Yao shrugged off his jean jacket which Jiang Lingyun took happily. It was a cool spring day for once. He was in one of his oversized but thin sweaters and some of the most comfortable songku from Li ZhenZhen and Peng Ze.
Jiang Lingyun was slipping it on while walking outside with two alphas already behind him when suddenly the jacket was removed, replaced with a warmer, orange blossom scented suit jacket. “You really shouldn’t be wearing other people's clothes right now, Lingyun.” Sheng Shaoyou warmly told him as Hua Yong dropped the denim jacket onto one of the chairs with a flick of his wrist. The disgust was clear in the action even if his face had an equally fond smile on his lips.
“Yes, the pup needs our scents.” Hua Yong reaffirmed, deciding that he would wash his hands before he touched their omega. “Are you doing alright at your apartment?”
“Yes, it’s very nice and all but really you don’t have to send me things all the time. Ze-ge has already helped me with getting my old accounts ba…” Jiang Lingyun started but stopped as Hua Yong’s head turned away sharply at how the s-class alpha was addressed. “..back. I can care for me and the pup.”
“Of course you can, sweetheart. But you don’t have to. We want to take care of you and our pup.” Sheng Shaoyou felt a warmth settle in his chest at how Jiang Lingyun hadn’t removed his jacket. The wind blew and he moved to block it from hitting the omega as much as possible.
Hua Yong loved that he got to witness Jiang Lingyun blush. He was so adorable with his flushed cheeks. Their beautiful omega looked so pretty in his cozy clothes and slightly swollen stomach. “Was the scenting schedule alright?”
“It was…thank you.” Jiang Lingyun stuttered, hands nervously at his stomach. HIs pup kicking slightly. Instinctively he reached out for their hands. “Our Peanut is kicking.”
Sheng Shaoyou and Hua Yong shared a look of mutual want before turning it on Jiang Lingyun. Their omega’s joy smelled divine as it sweetened the fresh iris scent in the air. They were so lucky that they weren’t being denied this. Now they just needed to make sure that Jiang Lingyun understood that no matter what name he had that he was theirs just as much as the pup.
“I’m fine really.” Jiang Lingyun sighed, crossing his arms as the doctor looked at him with pity. The doctor was quickly dismissed so that they’d be able to talk in private. He’d been working too long without taking breaks and passed out in his rideshare with his co-worker Mia. She’d made sure that his alphas were called when they’d gotten to the hospital.
“No, you’re not because you and Peanut are here.” Hua Yong gave back. He was sitting on the edge of the bed with Jiang Lingyun while Sheng Shaoyou was on the edge of the chair beside the bed. “And you’re coming back home after this.”
“I know we talked about you staying at the apartment but I really do think it’s best if you come home, Love. You can properly nest and -” Sheng Shaoyou was trying to go the reasonable route that would make it easier on everyone.
“No, we’ve already tried that when I first woke up.” Jiang Lingyun stubbornly shook his head, “You didn’t love me, you loved Shen Wenlang. I’m not him.”
“No baby, you’re not. You’re our Jiang Lingyun. Our love for you is different. It’s new, warm, and growing every day. ” Sheng Shaoyou reached over to soothe the omega. He released some of his soothing pheromones so as to not upset him further. “You’re out beautiful, smart, and brave omega.” He shot Hua Yong a look that he hoped would get the fellow alpha to smoothly recover the moment.
“And we can properly court you and show you that we love you, Yunyun, for you while helping you prepare to meet our sweet pup.” Hua Yong understood what his alpha was trying to get at. He just wished that he could pluck the omega back into their arms and never let him go.
“The doctor did say that it would be good for Peanut.” Jiang Lingyun said, bitting his lower lip. The looks on the alphas faces as they tried to reassure him was what moved him. Li ZhenZhen had told him that he might want to consider taking them up on moving in with them. Especially since he would need them more and more the further the pregnancy got. He wasn’t heartless. He knew that they were trying and he honestly couldn’t say that he didn’t desire them. Jiang Lingyun felt a deep pull to be near them and the way his heart pounded in his chest at the sight of them.
“But what about you, love? Do you think it would be good for you?” Sheng Shaoyou gently rubbed his thumb over Jiang Lingyun’s wrist. He felt the jump in the omega’s heartbeat as well as smelled the crisp notes of want.
“I…I will go home with you.” Jiang Lingyun swallowed hard as he took in the spiciness of both alphas catching on that he’d gotten lost in the tender touch from Sheng Shaoyou. He was confident that going home with them meant he was going to be devoured whole.
