Chapter Text
”Madame Director, what do you think of the layout we have so far?”
It’s never easy to get used to that name, that title. In a position of power is far from where Lucretia expected to be almost a decade later and she definitively didn’t want it go this way should she be in charge of anything. She looks to Davenport first before turning to acknowledge one of her colleagues whom is helping build this base.
Though Avi’s role was decidedly going to be a guard to protect it from any of her… partners, should they find their way onto the moon of all places, he was a very useful eye to building their prison. The brig. Also if anyone should fall victim to the sadistic lure of the relics.
“How many cells were you thinking?” He asks, as Lucretia silently gazed it over. She looked over at Avi silently and replied;
”Six.”
”Six? Don’t you think that’s maybe… too small?”
”No… I don’t. If anything it’s just the right amount. Make sure it’s six.”
”Yes ma’am.”
Six cells.
One for Magnus, who if he should find himself on the base would most likely be imprisoned for trying to use these relics for good. As he always tried to assure himself, Barry, and even Lucretia they could be.
One for Taako, who if he should know what Lucretia made him forget, would not rest until he destroyed everything she built.
One for Barry, who though is missing and possibly dead, just like his lover, would do what he can to take back the family Lucretia tore apart.
One for Merle, though he’d never strike Lucretia - he wouldn’t just stand by and let her destroy herself. He always looked out for her.
One for Davenport, if he ever were to leave Lucretia’s side it’d be better to have him behind bars than let him find something or learn something he should never know.
And the sixth cell, for Lup. Wherever she made be, and if she ever comes back home.
