Odalia knocked on the door and Elizabeth Triplet answered it.
"Elizabeth, it's been too long. Sorry to show up unannounced, but I figured I would introduce you to my new cat, Mittens." Odaila said.
"You always knew I could never resist an adorable animal." Elizabeth said, "Come in, how're the kids?"
"They're doing well." Odalia said as she walked into the house with Elizabeth closing the door behind her.
Odaila put the cat carrier on the ground and opened it.
"Come on out, Mittens." Odalia said.
Amity walked out, putting on the cutest eyes she could.
"Meow."
Elizabeth cooed at the small, magenta kitty before she scooped up Mittens and cuddled with the kitty to her face.
"Oh, aren't you just the cutest kitten I've ever seen!" Elizabeth said as Amity didn't scratch her.
Amity stuck her tongue out a little and purred, making herself look even cuter. Amity licked Elizabeth on the cheek, making Elizabeth start 'baby talking' Amity.
"Who's a wittle cutie? Is it you? Yes, it is."
'This is working a bit too well.' Odalia thought as she watched her old friend treat her transformed daughter like a little baby.
"Come Elizabeth, let's catch up a little, it's been a long time since we just spoke." Odalia said.
Elizabeth put Amity down and went to the couch to talk with her old friend. Amity sneakily walked out of the room.
'Now to find Luz.' Amity thought.
Heading through the mansion, Amity made her way to Boscha's room in hopes of finding Luz there. Indeed she did, finding Luz inside a cage with Boscha cooing over her.
"Who's the cutest little human world creature? You are. Yes, you are." Boscha said as she used levitation magic to play hall with Luz.
Luz just looked at Boscha, wanting to bite her.
'You're lucky I am inside of a cage.' Luz thought, angry at Boscha for kidnapping her in her sleep and bringing her here.
The only reason Luz was playing with her was to maintain the cover of just being an animal, that way she could find a way to escape once Boscha goes to sleep tonight.
"Meow."
Luz and Boscha looked and saw Amity.
'Amity!' Luz thought with a smile, putting her paws against the cage.
"A cat?" Boscha asked as she got up and moved to gently pick it up. "When did we get a cat? Hmm, Mittens, huh? You must be Mrs. Blight's cat."
'More than you think, you three eyed thief.' Amity thought before putting in the cute act she gave Elizabeth.
"Meow." Amity said before purring in Boscha's arms, nuzzling against her hands.
"Awe, you're pretty cute." Boscha said.
Boscha scratched Amity behind the ears as she brought her to the bed and showed her Luz.
"Look, Otto! We have a little play mate here to see you." Boscha said. "Say hi to Mittens."
'Otto?' Amity thought with raised brow, 'Geez, how long did it take to come up with that ridiculous name?'
'A part of me is glad she didn't check my gender.' Luz thought as Boscha set Amity on the bed before the cage.
Amity rubbed her paw against the cage that held Luz.
"Aw, do you want to play with Otto?" Boscha asked.
"Meow." Amity replied, still looking at Luz.
"Alright, I'll let you two play."
Boscha opened the cage and let "Otto" out, letting her and Mittens began to play with the ball Boscha had given her earlier.
"Oh, now that so cute! I have to get my scroll for this." Boscha said as she got up and left the room, shutting the door behind her.
"Alright, I need to call Eda." Amity said, "Watch my back in case she comes back... Otto."
"Please not call me that. It's not right to name an Otter "Otto."" Luz said with a head shake.
Amity summoned her scroll and called Eda. Luz kept her eyes in the door as the scroll rang for a moment before Eda picked up for a video chat.
"Mittens, did yo- Oh! You did!" Eda said with a smile as King popped up on screen!
"Luz, you're okay! Thank Titan!" King said to her.
"We need you to get here, now." Amity said.
"On my way." Eda said.
"And you better be quick about it. Mom can only talk so long." Amity said as she hung up the scroll and put it away.
It was good that she made the scroll go away, as a few seconds later, Boscha came back in. Quickly pretending they were playing; Luz and Amity were batting the ball back and forth with their tails like a game of catch. Boscha couldn't resist taking a picture of it.
"This is so gonna be my favorite pic." She said, saving the photo for herself.
She pet the two animals.
"You are both just the cutest creatures I have ever seen! Especially you Otto! You were too good to be that owl lady's pet." Boscha said as she petted Luz some more.
"Are you sure about that?" Eda asked, sitting behind Boscha on Boscha's bed.
"Aaah!" Boscha screamed as she saw Eda on her bed! "What are you doing in my house?!"
"Isn't it obvious? I'm taking back my little buddy." Eda said as she picked up Luz and put her in her lap.
"Speaking of." Eda made a spell circle with her staff and Luz returned to normal, "There we go, all back to normal. As for you, Three Eyes, Odalia has already discussed your punishment with your parents."
Eda made a spell circle with her staff and hit Boscha with it, leaving a small, two pound, long haired, pink, chihuahua in her place.
"What the hex?!" Boscha shouted in shock as she l+ooked over herself! "What did you turn me into?!"
"Awww, she's a chihuahua! That's so cute!" Luz said with a smile before Amity jumped into her lap.
"Not as cute as me, right?" Amity asked, still a kitten.
"No, not as cute as you." Luz said.
Eda groaned and used her staff to perform the spell, turning Amity back to normal.
"As for you." Eda said, looking at Boscha, "Let's go show your parents their new pet."
"IF YOU THINK FOR A SECOND THAT MY PARENTS WILL BE OKAY WITH THIS, THEN YOUR-" Boscha screamed before a purple muzzle was placed over her mouth!
"That feels so good to do." Amity said as she had used her abomination magic to make the muzzle.
Eda walked into the den, with Boscha attached to an Abomination leash.
"Now, I believe Odalia has explained the situation?" Eda asked.
"Yes, she did." Elizabeth said, "Your father is going to be very angry when he gets home, Young Lady."
"Hmmm!" Boscha let out but couldn't because of the muzzle on her mouth.
"If you want my opinion, I think a fitting punishment would be to remain in this form for some time and attend obedience school." Odalia said with a smile.
"I agree." She said, taking Boscha's leash, "Come on, let's go look for one, Boscha. You may show yourselves out, have a nice day."
"Mmmm!" Boscha muffled out as she was dragged away by her mother.
"Have fun, Boscha!" Luz said with a teasing smile.
"Try not to bite anyone." Amity said with a wave.
"Alright, let's get back home." Eda said, "I need a beer."
"How about some wine instead?" Odalia offered.
"Keep talking." Eda said, her attention in Odalia.
The two began walking away, with Odalia talking about how she knew this great place to get high end wine, she's paying, leaving the others there.
"So, what do you want to do?" Amity asked.
"Walk with two legs." Luz said.
Epilogue:
Years later, a twenty year old Amity walked to a stage.
"Welcome, ladies and Gentlemen, to Blight Industries!" Amity said, "I am Amity Blight, owner of the company, and my lovely wife over there, is Luz Noceda-Blight, the greatest Beast Keeper this side of the Ribs!"
Waving to the crowd, Luz stood on stage with a baby slither beast at her side. It was raised by her during her last year of Hexside and she had treated it like her own child, gaining its loyalty and love. This impressed the Isles since no one had ever tamed a slither beast before.
"Today, we have a wonderful product." Amity said, "The very first, Abomination Guard dog!"
Gesturing to Luz, Amity gave her a signal to pull out a special looking whistle and blow it. A large dog, made out of Abominations, ran up to her.
"Sit!" Luz said.
It listened and sat.
"Good boy."
"As you can see, they are programmed to listen to their master." Amity said, "Whether you want a guard dog, or just a simple companion, this is capable of coming in different sizes, perfect for those that want lap dogs. You are capable of Pre-Ordering on now."
Amity watched as the sale meter went up. Ever since Amity and Luz got the business, they made the decision to spread out into make more than just weapons, although they still did sell them to the Coven for big bucks. After Emperor Belos... "Mysteriously Passed On" Hunter took over the throne as his sole heir. He's much looser than Belos was, partially with his friendly relationship with Luz. On the other side of the stage, Alador and Odalia looked on.
"They're natural businesswomen." Odalia said.
"And their ideas are very creative, we really should've expanded outside of weaponry and security before we gave them the company." Alador said as he rubbed his chin and nodded.
"They'll change the Isles, I know it." Odalia said, "I'm so proud."
Alador nodded in agreement as he smiled to his youngest daughter, happy for her. The next day, Luz woke up, seeing a purple cat sleeping on her.
"So cute."
A little fact about that book, if you use a spell from it, that spell never leaves you, which means Amity and Luz have the ability to turn back into an otter and a cat at will... it basically, gave Emira shapeshifting powers. It was both a blessing and a curse if you look it at.
"Not far that you get to have all the fun." Luz said as she transformed herself into an otter and curled up next to her wife, falling back to sleep for a few more minutes.
