In the Creative Chaos server, we discovered that it was hard to wade through all the fics we'd recommended in the chat, so we created a public Ao3 collection where we can access old recommended fics more easily than wading through the backlog. The collection has grown over the years, and we're thrilled to have more people join our server and have an ever-broadening selection of fic recommendations.

How does a fic become part of this collection?
The only requirement is that someone recommends the fic in our sever fic-rec chats. We do allow self-promos, as we believe that often the fics you love the most are your own. Once a fic is recommended, one of our mods will request that the fic be added to the collection, and the author must accept that request.

What kinds of fics are added to this collection?
Our server has all kinds of requests! Although we are primarily bnha fans, we often request recommendations from other fandoms, as well. Sometimes requests are broad like "I'm new to this fandom, what are your favs?" and sometimes they're very narrow, like looking for a rarepair or specific scenario.

Will you be using the unrevealed option at any time?
We will never use the unrevealed option.

Why does your rec list include problematic material?
Some fics in the collection are recommended in the 18+ nsfw-and-problematic-fic-recs chat and have problematic material. As mods, we are anti-bookban and will not remove fics from the collection on that basis. We follow the fandom rules of "Don't Like Don't Read" and "Your Kink is not My Kink." Please pay attention to tags, and if you don't like the material, then don't interact with it.
