Inko wakes up a few times with hazy nightmares of bruises and grinding bones. Hisashi sleeps soundly. She stares at the wall and thinks of the child she’s still keeping a secret, thinks about their future with a trapped mother and a father who wouldn’t think twice about ending a life. Her friends have disappeared. The boy who'd flirted with her is dead. Hisashi's right in the middle of it, with that smile that says he'd do it all again in a heartbeat.
She can’t let her baby end up like that. She can’t watch an innocent mind be warped into the person that Hisashi must be. It’ll be hard, raising a kid on her own. She hasn’t even gone to a doctor yet to make sure her pregnancy’s going okay. “Either I give up everything I have,” she says, hand resting on her belly. “Or I let Hisashi ruin my baby forever.”

Or: Izuku is a villain. Kinda. A villain is defined by the use of their quirk, and he's quirkless. Besides, the worse thing he's done is erase Tomura's save files. And befriend the League of Villains. And accidentally kidnap the son of the number two Hero. Shouto likes it better on their couch anyway. Oh, and there's the whole 'traitor' thing too. Welp.

Everyone is born with two names written on their wrists: one the name of their soulmate they are destined to be with, the other their greatest enemy who will stand in their way at every turn. For Katsuki and Izuku, theirs are different than the others in their classmates' at UA, because Izuku has Bakugou Katsuki written on both of his wrists, and Katsuki has Izuku Midoriya written on both of his.
That knowledge along with their complicated past has led to them constantly arguing, fighting, and pushing each other to be better than the rest, to become the greatest hero. Only time will tell if they learn to resolve their differences-- or if they'll allow their differences to destroy the potential they have together.
