Summary
Wainfleet is in front of him, Quaritch to his left, and it takes a moment for Jake to realise that he has no idea who’s actually behind him, who cuffed him. Jake struggles against the cuffs but doesn’t get anywhere. This shouldn’t unsettle him as much as it does. He came here willingly, after all, he knew what he was getting into.
“Fike…Sean Fike?”, he asks, and the man nods, giving him a grin that shows off his fangs, almost like a warning.

Quaritch keeps his promise to bring Jake back to the boys at base. And Jake doesn't know whether he should be scared or excited.

The water soaked through his thick sleep robes as he bowed low enough for his forehead to touch his folded hands on the ground. “Your Majesty, it is an honor to finally meet you. I am here to serve you and am grateful for the offering of our union.”
The dragon huffed another hot breath that warmed over Jungkook’s back yet sent a chill rising on his skin. “Rise up, princeling, I am soon to be your mate, not just your king. We are to be equal. The ground should never know the touch of your pretty face in my presence.”
