Following on from the massive success of our previous #DrunkenKissesChallenge, we at @hannibalcreative are excited to announce our latest challenge for you - #HardAtWorkChallenge!!
What: Impromptu Mini challenge: Write a one shot (up to 1000 words*)/create art/gifs/photosets/edits/fanvids etc on the subject of Hard At Work! You have the rest of this week to work on them and then post on the weekend of 23/24 July. Hannigram, Spacedogs, Rarepair, Madancy, AU, other Hannibal characters? - you decide!
Just got dream job? An office romance? Sex on the desk? Or just a shitty day at work? Are Team Sassy Science having a good day? Maybe a Lumberjack AU? Or Hanni as a surgeon? We know you’ve got this!
(* The 1k limit is meant to challenge you as a writer, however! If you end up going over the limit, that’s fine - we wouldn’t dream of stifling your muse!)

Alana takes a few more sips before setting the coffee back onto the saucer. “So you believe in psychics? Or, at least, don’t disbelieve in them.”
“I suppose that there could be individuals who do more than read physical tells, make educated guesses, and ask leading questions,” Hannibal says. He raises his cup back to his lips. “Why do you ask?”
Alana laces her fingers together on top of the table. “His name is Will Graham.”

Will has always seen too much of the lives of others to ever want one of his own. On the other hand, Hannibal, as proprietor of Whisked Away, his hobby coffee shop and café, is living the public life he's always wanted. Still, he longs to be seen and understood for who he really is.
Neither ever saw this coming.
