She’s taller up close than he thought she’d be. Manicured hand partially obscuring her smile as she leans into the grip around her waist. It’s calculated, from the way she bats her eyelashes down to the slight flush to her cheeks. Jason’s not sure if it’s the alcohol or if she really can blush on command.
He sort of wants to find out.

Summary
Four years ago, Jason Todd was little more than a feral creature hell-bent on vengeance. After making a series of ridiculously horrifying decisions, he's left Gotham behind, left behind the few people he'd call family, and ended up striking out on his own. After creating a small team with Roy Harper and Koriand'r, Jason's managed to cobble together a good life. He still rights wrongs, and does heroic things, just...with a bit more of a violent edge than most. Unfortunately, one of these jobs forces him to return back to Gotham, despite all of the risks. He just has to go to a gala, though, and avoid the Bats.
What he hadn't expected was just how one of the Bats had grown up, and just how beautiful they looked at the white tie gala the undercover mission he was on led him to.

Summary
Tim’s hand grips tighter on the coffee, more determined to keep his hold on that than his phone or keys, and thank god, he doesn’t drop the drink. But the rest of it slips through his fingers, and the guy he just slammed into has some seriously great reflexes, because he manages to snatch them both out of the air before they can hit the ground.
“Oh, god, sorry—” Tim starts to say as the guy straightens up, and then he stops. A set of amused green eyes look down at him over a wide grin.
You’ve got to be kidding, Tim thinks.
“Got somewhere to be, sweetheart? Oh, now that’s a pretty shade of red you’re turning—”
“I’m late,” Tim snaps, snatching his keys and phone out of Jason’s hand. “I got lost four fucking times on my way here. If this city was a person, I would throttle it.”
