Still no response. No movement. And deep down, Macaque had the feeling it wasn't a weird joke.
Or, MK unconsciously seeks help from Macaque, and the shadow demon does his best to help.

Nezha and Wukong don’t always see eye to eye. When Wukong visits Nezha up in the Celestial Realm to check on him, of course Nezha gets frustrated and wants to be left alone to get his duties done.
When Nezha mentions how Wukong is not really a good mentor for MK, Wukong brings up,
“You up for a challenge then?”

Yin and Jin are attacking the city while successor and mentor were training. Unfortunately, the gold and silver demons had stolen a relic that they obviously had no idea of its purpose, intending on using it to stop mk from beating them once again, wukong is his and is reverted to the day all his troubles begin. Now the crew feel the need to use this time to there advantage and make it up to him by giving him the one thing he didn't have till hundreds of years later... a family.

After defeating the Lady Bone Demon, life in Megapolis has returned to normal. However, for one lonely ex-assassin, adjusting to a peaceful lifestyle has been difficult. Centuries spent lurking in the shadows, hunting those that have hunted him, and running from his past has left the Six-Eared Macaque wary of starting a new life.
Despite that, he finds himself in the presence of an an old friend and a new ally.
Even after everything he did, MK wants Macaque to co-mentor him alongside Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. For what reason? Macaque isn't sure, but he knows that this has got to be the worst idea that kid could ever have.
