It wasn’t really about the dance. Robin couldn’t care less about some lame attempt to generate school spirit. But the holidays were readily approaching and she hadn’t even started her applications. Her academic future felt like a land mine she was continuously side-stepping. Not to mention she had hardly spent any time with her band mates since July. Her social circle was becoming a squished oval and to top it all off she was going to be late for work because she forgot to change the stupid batteries in her stupid alarm.
