Summary
After their first time, Phainon avoids Mydei like the plague for a week and receives mutual avoidance for three months despite expressing that it was simply nerves.
Convinced that Mydei was unhappy with his bedding skills, Phainon seeks outside help.
But actions have consequences, and their consequence isn’t Phainons visit to the brothels of Okhema.

“Get out! I know this -”, pausing to gesture along his own body, “wasn't exactly what you signed up for, but how dare you come into our home covered with the scent of some other woman!”
Phainon, bewildered, had made some attempt to protest. He'd then seized the stress ball Castorice had gifted him which had been conveniently lying on the tabletop, and hurled it at him. He supposed her choice of gift said something about his mindset, but objectively, it was fairly cute. She'd hand painted it with chimeras that had a suspicious resemblance to him and Phainon. Anyhow, Phainon had wisely retreated before more dangerous objects could be thrown, taking the stress ball with him.

What a dilemma.
This second trimester of Mydei’s pregnancy, all Phainon has done is find ways to alleviate Mydeis weird cravings. At least he isn’t getting sent to the Sea of Souls for sea monster again.
Still, it doesn’t help that he’s staring blankly at the cutting board right now, apron on and unsure of where to start.

He'd brushed off the concerned comments he received about being paler than usual. Phainon, at least, knew by now that he hated being treated like something fragile, and he'd allowed the additional affection with only minimal objection. He was smart enough to keep most of it to their private quarters. He might've rolled his eyes at the many creative roleplay ideas his lover came up with, but he had to admit being worshiped as a prince didn't grate on him the way he thought it would when it was accompanied by the tenderness in Phainon's gaze.
