The camera blinked to life with a static, greeting the sight of Eddie—thirty-one, bright eyed, youthful. Eddie squinted at the camera, looking at the side before his gaze shifted at the lens.
His expression morphed into surprise. “Wow—this still works after years…”
Eddie wiped the lens with his palm, the camera becoming a bit blurry before clearing up. He waved and smiled—the kind of smile that only people he loved can see everyday (which was mostly Christopher and Buck).
“Buck! Come over here real quick!” Eddie called out from the bedroom.
