Summary
A series of events have landed Gale in Avernus, caught in a contract with a fiendishly attractive devil who he has been certain has been trying to seduce him since the moment they met… Or was it simply that power never failed to draw him in? Raphael is quite pleased with his newest acquisition, and whilst in the past their particular ambitions have clashed, he is the one wearing the Crown, wielding the power that so many coveted. He can’t resist the opportunity to prove that power over the man who had once thought to claim it for himself, though Gale might need some more guidance to become an obedient ally, whether by carrot or by stick. Can an old wizard learn new tricks before the devil’s patience runs out?

But could there be more to their connection in the shadows of Baldur's Gate?

Summary
Freedom came at a price for Astarion and his fellow spawn, banished from the sun to seek relative safety in the shadows of the Underdark. And still, those shadows sometimes take on shapes of their own, as memories are never too far away.
Still, they have as much of a second chance as one could possibly be granted under the circumstances, which leads one particular part of Astarion's past right back to him.
The same song he played a hundred times takes on a new melody, as the future at last begins to find a light in the endless night.

“I…” Sebastian’s voice faltered, just as it had when he had first given his name, but this time it was hardly the giddy nerves of a man ill accustomed to flirting. He seemed to be hesitating over his words, the weight of a single syllable hanging heavy on the air. “I don’t blame you.”
“You should.” Bitter words leapt far too swiftly to Astarion’s lips once more.
“I know. I should curse your name, I should be dreaming of driving a blade into your heart, and yet…”
“And yet here you are, daggerless.”

Summary
