Event runs 6th July (Sunday) - 12th July (Saturday)

How to participate:

1. Create based on the 7 days of prompts.
2. Keep it short!
   • For an optional challenge, here are some fic format prompts:
     • Write a ficlet of 1000 words or less
     • Write a drabble—exactly 100 words!—or another multiple of 100
     • Write a fic in one sitting
     • Write a threadfic
     • Finish a short oneshot WIP you’ve been putting off!
   • For art, here are some optional format prompts:
     • Sketch or doodle (or do a compilation of doodles)
     • Draw in one sitting
     • Draw using max 3 colors
     • Finish a WIP!
   • Fanfiction, fanart, moodboards, short video edits etc. are all welcome!
3. Share to social media and/or post to this AO3 collection:
• Submit it to our AO3 Collection by typing “bitesofLcmd” into the “Collection” field of the work and/or
• Use the #bitesofLcmd hashtag when posting on Twitter, Bluesky, and tumblr

Prompts:

There are 21 prompts in total, three for each day. Creative prompt interpretations are welcome.

Feel free to interpret the prompts creatively! For example, the "history" prompt could be a historical AU, something set in the past of the ASoIaF world, a discussion about history, a history scholar, relationship history... and whatever else you can think of! "Science fiction" could refer to any sci-fi trope, theme, or AU you can think of, from aliens to time travel to a future AU.

Q: Can I submit an anonymous work to the AO3 collection?
A: Yes.

Q: Can the creation include pairings other than Lucemond?
A: As long as the main pairing of the fic/art/work is Aemond "One-Eye" Targaryen/Lucerys Velaryon (Son of Rhaenyra), you can include side pairings (including those with Lucerys or Aemond) or side characters as you wish.

Q: Can I include prompts from other events / submit this creation to another event collection / gift this creation to someone?
A: You are welcome to do as you please with your work, so long as the main ship of the creation is Lucemond and you submit it to the AO3 Collection and/or event hashtags!

Q: Can short fics be posted to AO3 individually?
A: Yes, AO3 allows short creations like drabbles to be posted as unique works. If your short fics are related parts of a shared story, you might post them as a series of works.

Q: Do I have to use all three prompts in a day?
A: No. You can create for however many prompts you like on however many days, and ignore the prompts you don’t like.

Q: Can I make multiple short works for one day?
A: Sure!

Q: I finished a oneshot but it's 1.5k words. Can I still post it?
A: Yes. If you want to challenge yourself to keep it under 1k, you can stick to the challenge. If you feel like your story is better at 1.5k words, you can post that. Our challenges are optional.

Q: Can I post a drabble as part of an AU/series I have already posted before?
A: Yes. Just make sure to add it to the collection as well, so that people can find it!

Q: Are creations with dark or sensitive subject matter allowed?
A: Yes. You may submit works with dark subject matter to the collection as long as they don’t violate AO3 rules. We suggest tagging accordingly.

Q: Can fics be posted somewhere other than AO3?
A: Yes. Ficlets may be posted as threadfics on Twitter/Bluesky or posted to Tumblr.

Content rules:

• No AI creations.
• No violating AO3 rules.
• If posting a creation directly on social media, follow platform rules and apply content labels as required, so we can share your creation.
• Creations must be Lucemond-centric.
• Participate in good faith!
