“I’m not pretending!” Lando’s voice spiked as he spun around, his face flushed with anger. “I’m trying to handle it in my own way. You wouldn’t understand, and I don’t want you to understand! I don’t need you!”
The tension between them snapped like a wire pulled too tight, and Oscar’s eyes widened as Lando’s words landed with a force that nearly knocked the air out of him. He stood frozen for a second, hurt and disbelief colliding in his chest, before his own frustration surged to the surface, fierce and unrelenting.

“Shit, Osc.” Lando breathed out, mindlessly helping Oscar crawl inside as his eyes roamed over his boyfriend, brows knitted together in worry. “You’re bleeding everywhere.”
“‘s fine, ‘m fine I promise.” Oscar winced out, his voice rough as he slumped down slightly against the cold wall. Lando could see the littering bruises forming where his skin was exposed, a nasty cut along his jawline. It made Lando want to throw up.
“Fine?” Lando snorted, but little to no bite was behind it. He couldn’t hide the worry and he did not want to hide it. “You call this fine?”
Or,
Oscar gets severely injured while on duty as Spider-Man, so Lando patches him up — perhaps more emotionally than physically.
