Summary
Minho suppresses a sigh. Calculatively, he makes a move. “I have a deal to make with you.”
The boy folds his arms. “Shoot.”
Minho leans forward, looking the boy in the eye. “If you can get me off this planet, and back to my homeworld safely-” he feels around his finger, grasping a single ring, and elegantly pulls it off. The design is basic, with a simple pattern carved into the top, but the material itself is the showstopper, with miniature galaxies and subsize supernovas exploding within its core. The boy’s eyes widen as they register the iridescent sheen of a substance so precious wars have been fought over it. Exactly the reaction Minho is digging for.
“-you can be a rich man,” Minho completes with utmost confidence.
Or: Minho is on the run. Somehow, he ends up in the cargo bay of the Broken Compass, way out of his element. Amongst the danger he has to keep at bay, and the secrets he has to guard, the loud, endearingly genuine boy that throws his senses into a disarray isn't helping at all.

Summary
But that’s most days, the ones where Jisung is no more than a broke student.
Today, Han Jisung is lucky – because a night at the local club that was meant as stress relief and a celebration of turning in an important assignment in time now results in swinging his hips flush against Minho’s.

Summary
Nothing ever happens in Jisung’s town. Ever.
So when the wide-eyed stranger Jisung fishes out of the pond in the local park claims to be a time traveller, well, could anyone really blame him for wanting to believe in something?
What someone like Minho wants in a town like this - with a person like Jisung - he can’t really be sure, but he’ll take what he can get while it lasts. After all, even if Minho -was- a time traveller, why would he come back?
...unless he could sense that Jisung would maybe, slightly, kind of desperately like to see him again?

Summary
He met the teenager two weeks ago, when the main wave of infection ceased and the chaos had already since descended upon the city. Han Jisung, he said his name was, a seventeen-year-old boy just a few weeks shy of his high school graduation — or at least, what would have been his high school graduation. Jisung bursted into the 7/11 holding what looked like the handlebars of a scooter, white-knuckled and with tears streaming down his puffy cheeks. Minho was in the middle of microwaving some onigiri he snatched right off the still refrigerated shelves. It took him fifteen minutes to get the flustered boy to calm down and explain himself.
Things haven’t gotten easier since, but Minho supposed it was better for his sanity to have a companion around than try to rough the road east by his lonesome.

Summary
Today’s the day: Jisung has been madly in love with Minho for long enough, and it’s finally time for Minho to know. It’s the perfect setup - a trip to an amusement park, just the two of them, with a flawlessly arranged mix CD for the road and maybe a little bit of magic in the air. All Jisung needs is the right moment to make his big confession.
As it turns out, the Right Moment is a fickle creature. Nobody can really be sure what it looks like.
Least of all Jisung.
