Summary
Write a story where the tension rises because of good news. E.g. a group that was previously thought to be dead is alive and needs rescuing, a villain starts to have a change of heart so the plan to kill them is put on hold, ect.
In other words, write something where the characters realise a better ending is in reach than they thought possible, but it's going to be more of a struggle to grasp it.

Summary
Write a work about any topic you want but change your perspective: if you usually write using first person perspective (using I/me/my pronouns), write in the second person instead (from the reader’s point of view, using you/your/yours pronouns). If you write more works based on an outsider narrator, try using the first person instead. And if you use the second person, try using an outside narrator perspective instead.

Summary
Take a character you frequently write about and love to torment in your stories. This torment can be ordinary sitcom type shenanigans, or offspring of the Spanish Inquisition and Nazi Germany, or anywhere in between - I don't care.
Then imagine you and that character have switched places: they have become the author and you the main character of their story(ies). They have an inkling of what you did to them and want revenge.
In keeping with their canon personality*, how do they write you? What story(ies) do they tell about you?
Does your life still go on in between stories or not? If so, how do you react to having been railroaded once you're free?
*For example, President Snow is more likely to subject someone who writes torture fics about him to his annual Hunger Games than he is to have them gang-raped. Voldemort is more likely to have the muggle who wrote him crying for his mother subjected to the Cruciatus curse and fed to his magic snake than he is to make them cry in front of their unrequited crush.

Summary
Characters A and B (C, D, E,...) from a free world find themselves in a dystopia and unable to escape. Suddenly, all their disagreements seem rather petty in the face of being watched and controlled by a powerful government... or does the situation exacerbate their problems with each other?
How do they survive - do their values stay intact or disintegrate or become altered?
Do any of them try to start a rebellion against the ruling class? Why, and what are the outcomes?
Do any decide to join the ruling class? Why, and what happens to them in the end?
Where power differences exist between the main characters as a result of the dystopian universe, how does it affect their interactions with one another?Claimed By

Summary
Write a story where Character A dies and it shocks Character B so hard that they abandon their current life and go on to live in a way that Character A would’ve wanted to live (Ex: Start a farm in the middle of nowhere; or bring Peace to their homeland and then fuck off into obscurity in the mountains)
But Plot twist: By some coincidences, Character A raises from the dead and learns that Character B has abandoned their life so they go to find them.
(Can be lovers, Can be friends or family, whatever! I just live for relationships with deep connections)

Character B was just too late.
If they had been just a bit quicker, just a bit stronger, if only they had gotten more time. Maybe if they had done that… character A wouldn’t have (pick one or multiple from below)
- died
- married someone else
- moved
- made a rash decision
- sacrificed themself
- broken up with them/another character
- gotten captured
- gotten injured
- (if you have something else, please feel free to write it! Those above are just some examples)This should not have a happy ending

Summary
Characters [A] and [B] are clean fighters, their friends know that.
Or at least they thought they did.
Unbeknownst to their friends, [A] and [B] like to spar. Now this would be fine if they didn’t fight like feral animals: biting, scratching, head-butting; nothing their friends would be happy about.
One day, [A] and [B] make a little too much noise; get a little too injured; get a little too close to civilization, and risk their friends finding out just how animalistic they let themselves become when they think they can let loose.

Character [A] and [B]’s relationship on the outside is perfect! Sure they get into spats on occasion, but anyone could see how much they love each other
One day, things compound. Characters [A] and [B] get in a massive fight in front of their family/friends, and reveal that this is NORMAL. They just don’t like to let other people see it.
You can choose what buried secrets get exposed in their blowup!

Summary
The story involves a character being duplicated in such a way that Both resulting Identical versions of the character have equal claim to being the "original" (Ex The Two Johns on Farscape) and how both they and the people they know (family, friends, enemies and acquaintances) deal with the fact their is not a clear cut original and copy.
Bonus if as the story goes on they start to diverge due to how everyone reacts to them.

Summary
A crime has been committed, and all the clues point to Character A. Character B or a group of characters don't want to believe it, so they put their detective skills to work.
Options:
Ending 1: Happy ending. Character A didn't do it, and they're cleared.
Ending 2: Character A didn't do it, but no one can prove it, so Character A faces the consequences of a crime they didn't commit.
Ending 3: Character A did it, but they're cleared through the efforts of Character B or friends.
Ending 4: Character A did it, and they face the consequences of their actions.
Ending 5: Character B admits to the crime. Maybe they did it or maybe they didn't, but Character A walks free.
Whatever you choose, this prompt is about expanding your skill with writing detective skills and/or the justice system in the respective setting of your story. Good luck!

Character A has been erased. Their friends don't know them, their documents proving they exist are gone, and they can't seem to make anyone remember them.
However, they can develop new memories and relationships.
How do they handle it? Can character A solve whatever has erased them and fix the problem? Do they give up and start a new life? Do they redevelop their old relationships while mourning what they lost?
