    Thank you so much! I knew from the start that with a fic set in Russia, I wanted to include Piotr -- it's definitely not comics!canon that he's at all resistant to telepathy, but the potential connection with the helmet was too good to resist. And I have buckets of backstory in my head about how Moira and Armando wound up training the kids together at the mansion, my biggest regret is that by keeping the POV tight on Charles, there was no way to work any of it into the fic. :/
